BL02U2 of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility is a surface diffraction beamline with a photon flux of 5.5×10^(12) photons/s at 10 keV and a beam size of 160µm×80µm at the sample site.It is dedicated to studying surfaces(solid-vacuum,solid-gas)and interfaces(solid-solid,solid-liquid,and liquid-liquid)in nanoscience,condensed matter,and soft matter systems using various surface scattering techniques over an energy range of 4.8-28 keV with transmission and reflection modes.Moreover,BL02U2 has a high energy resolution,high angular resolution,and low beam divergence,which can provide excellent properties for X-ray diffraction experiments,such as grazing incident X-ray diffraction,X-ray reflectivity,crystal truncation rods,and liquid X-ray scattering.Diversity of in situ environments can also be provided for the samples studied.This paper describes the setup of the new beamline and its applications in various fields. 展开更多

Improvement of Surface Ridging Resistance of an Ultra-purified Ferritic Stainless Steel by Optimizing Hot Rolling Condition 被引量:3

The effects of the finisher entry temperatures(FETs) on the surface ridging behavior for an ultra-purified21%Cr ferritic stainless steel have been investigated. The results indicate that decreasing the FET facilitates the formation of in-grain shear bands in the hot rolled slab. The in-grain shear bands supplied recrystallization nucleation sites in grains during subsequent annealing through coalescence of subgrains, which is beneficial to refine the microstructures and intensify the {111}//ND textures. This effect will evolve to the final cold rolled and annealed sheet. The micro-texture analysis indicates that the formation of grain colony in the final sheet is weakened by decreasing the FET. Then, the surface ridging resistance of FSS is enhanced due to the optimizing of micro-texture distribution. 展开更多

Since 2-aminonicotinic acid is a zwitterionic molecule,the salt or co-crystal strategy was used for the precipitation under identical conditions and obtained two novel salts: salt 1 with 2:1:2 stoichiometry of 2-aminonicotinic acid:perchloric acid:H2O and salt 2 with 2:1:3 stoichiometry of 2-aminonicotinic acid:sulfuric acid:H2O. Their crystal structures were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and thermogravimetric analyses(TGA). The structure determination shows that two salts are both primarily stabilized by the strong N–H…O hydrogen bonding interaction between 2-aminonicotinic acid and its corresponding acids. Constituents of the salt-crystalline phase were also investigated in terms of Hirshfeld surfaces. In the crystal lattice,a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network is observed,including the formation of a two-dimensional molecular scaffolding motif. Hirshfeld surfaces and fingerprint plots of two salts show that the structures are stabilized by H…H,O–H…O and C–O…π intermolecular interactions. 展开更多

Angle Compensation and Asymmetry Effect of Light Diffracted by Millimeter Liquid Surface Slosh Wave

The angle compensation method is adopted to detect sloshing waves by laser diffraction, in the case that the wavelength of the sloshing waves is much greater than that of the incident light. The clear diffraction pattern is observed to be of asymmetry, involving orders, position and interval of the diffraction spots that are discovered during the light grazing incidence. It is found that the larger the angle of incidence is, the more obvious the asymmetry is. The higher the negative diffraction orders are, the smaller the intervals between spots are. On the contrary~ in the positive region, the higher the diffraction orders are, the larger the spot intervals are. The positive interval is larger than that of the same negative diffraction order. If the incident angle reaches 1.558 rad in the experiment, all positive diffraction orders completely vanish. Based on the mechanism of phase modulation and with the Fourier transform method, the relations between the incident angle and position, interval spaces, and orders of diffraction spots are derived theoretically. The theoretical calculations are compared with the experimental data, and the comparison shows that the theoretical calculations are in good agreement with the experimental measurement. 展开更多

So far, the diffracted SAW field generated by an IDT with finite aperture on piezoelectric crystal surfaces is usually analyzed phenomenologically with the angular spectrum theory. A major approximation of this theory is to ignore the vector nature of the field by assuming that the wave field can be represented by a scalar as in optics. In this paper, a rigorous vector field theory of the surface excitation of elastic wave field in piezoelectric crystal developed by the authors is used to evaluate the SAW diffraction field adepately and precisely. As an example, numerical results for YZ-LiNbO3 are presented and compared with those obtained form the angular spectrum theory. 展开更多
