Through sorting out causes and connotations of LID and urban spongy park, this proposed that fl exible design is the core content of spongy park construction, and on this basis analyzed objectives, contents and approaches of urban spongy park construction, put forward strategies suitable for the construction of urban spongy parks in China, in order to instruct future construction of domestic urban spongy parks and promote the development of ecological civilization. 展开更多

An innovative stormwater master plan based on low impact development LID is proposed.Unlike the traditional urban drainage plan this plan employs a sustainable stormwater management approach in communities utilizing LID practices to reduce runoff and pollution load. An integrated hydraulic model which combines the traditional drainage sewer system with LID practices is adopted to assess the master plan.Through a long-term continuous simulation for 20 years the results reveal that the runoff volume will be reduced by over 80% following full implementation of this plan. Combining with the local conditions technical guidelines are established to provide assistance in implementing the stormwater master plan. Bioretention facilities for three main roads are constructed and other areas of development are being implemented sequentially under the guidance of the plan. This project provides an alternative method of stormwater management through the implementation of LID and it acts as a good example for other developing districts in China. 展开更多

The concept of sustainable development has experienced great development and change at different levels of theoretical connotation and practical implementation since 1960 s and 1970 s when it was first proposed. People's understanding of the relationship between economy,society, and environment has been continuously deepened over the years. When it came to the end of 2015, it is necessary to examine the results of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals on sustainable development, and at the same time, the post-2015 framework and guidance on sustainable development at the global level were to be made, including the ideas, action plans, key areas that would guide the global sustainable development. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has developed a 5P theoretical framework of being peoplecentered, global environmental security, sustained economic prosperity, social justice and harmony and partnership promotion, including a political declaration, 17 overarching goals and 169 specific targets, specific ways of implementation, as well as the follow-up. It is the road map to achieve global sustainable development and meet the requirements of the millennium development goals. This paper summarizes the understanding of the concept of sustainable development from its origin, its significant development, to the proposition and development of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and its strategic impact on China. 展开更多

Wind energy development receives broad support but is often opposed at the local level due to nuisance concerns and uncertainties about how it affects the landowners living due to the turbines and the broader community.Lo-cal opposition to wind energy development can be a powerful force slowing or even ending its implementation in a given region.Oklahoma,USA is currently ranked as 4^(th)in the United States in current wind energy production and has seen significant pushback from some local communities as a renewable energy resource.Previous studies have examined wind energy development’s impact on rural education income,and property values of different communities in Oklahoma.However,funding information on how wind energy development affects the individu-als living alongside the turbines are limited.Using fifteen interviews with landowners,site-managers,community representatives,and pro-wind non-profit organization representatives,this study finds that individuals who live in proximity to wind energy development,particularly those involved in the agricultural industry,have created novel and unique uses for wind farm infrastructure.It also finds that local perceptions of wind energy production are mostly positive and provides increased knowledge of how wind energy development affects the individuals and communities that are hosting the turbines and related infrastructure. 展开更多

In order to improve the stormwater regulation functions of urban greenways on the basis of literature research and case study the relationships between urban greenway and low impact development LID and green stormwater infrastructure GSI are analyzed. Then the classification system of urban greenways is proposed based on their stormwater regulation function and the suitable technical measures for stormwater management which can be used in different kinds of greenways are selected. According to China’s urban planning system the greenway planning method combined with the urban drainage system is developed and the design methods of the greenway stormwater system and individual stormwater facilities are put forward. The relationships between the greenway stormwater system and other systems are also analyzed in terms of stormwater inlet vertical design and overflow.Finally the waterfront greenway and street greenway demonstration projects in Jiaxing City which adopts the above concept and method are introduced. The results show that the reduction rates of annual total stormwater runoff and average total runoff contaminants TSS of the stormwater system are not less than 30% and 40% respectively. 展开更多

Moreover LID is easy for implementation and cost effective and operation and management can also be done easily.LID has attracted more and more attention from governmental authorities at different levels and the majority of practitioners. 目的分析早期筛查对发育性髋关节发育不良的预防意义及其影响因素。方法以北京积水潭医院2009年1月至2013年12月间收治住院的1 376名发育性髋关节脱位(developmental dysplasia of the hip,DDH)DDH患儿为研究对象,对患儿父母进行不记名... 目的分析早期筛查对发育性髋关节发育不良的预防意义及其影响因素。方法以北京积水潭医院2009年1月至2013年12月间收治住院的1 376名发育性髋关节脱位(developmental dysplasia of the hip,DDH)DDH患儿为研究对象,对患儿父母进行不记名问卷调查。根据初次就诊年龄、不同就诊途径对所有受试者进行分组,问卷调查内容包括患儿初次就诊年龄、患儿父母文化程度、家庭中是否有从医人员、患儿年平均医疗费用、患儿骨科疾病患病史、首次就诊的主管医生级别等。结果2009年1月至2013年12月间,2岁以下DDH患儿占当年全部初次就诊患儿总数的比例呈现逐年升高的趋势(P<0.05),而6岁以上DDH患儿占当年全部初次就诊患儿总数的比例呈现逐年降低的趋势(P<0.05)。由当地医生发现并推荐就诊的患儿比例呈不断上升的趋势。Logistic回归分析结果显示,入选的变量包括患儿父亲文化程度、患儿母亲文化程度以及首次就诊的主管医生级别。结论新生儿进行髋关节早期筛查的意识已经得到一定程度的提高,疾病诊疗相关知识逐渐丰富,患儿父母亲文化程度及首次就诊的主管医生级别是DDH患儿接受早期筛查年龄的主要影响因素。 展开更多

In order to have an in-depth understanding of road runoff characteristics and the linkages to their influential factors this paper investigates the road runoff quality in a city of South China Shenzhen.Four rainfall events with different characteristics are monitored on a typical urban road.It is noted that the road runoff quality is worse than Grade Ⅳ of environmental quality standards for surface water.This means that the road runoff has posed a serious risk to water environment health. Furthermore the research outcomes indicate that first flush highly varies with rainfall patterns and pollutant species.This means that for road runoff treatment design rainfall patterns as well as pollutant species should be taken into consideration and this is particularly essential to design first flush capturing devices. Additionally the threshold of an initial 3 to 5 mm rainfall depth is suggested to the first flush capturing device design.These results provide useful suggestions to the effective road runoff treatment design. 展开更多

Urban stormwater runoff nearly discharges directly into bodies of water through gray infrastructure in China, such as sewers, impermeable ditches, and pump stations. As urban flooding, water shortage, and other environment problems become serious, integrated water environment management is becoming increasingly complex and challenging. At more than 200 ha, the Oriental Sun City community is a large retirement community located in the eastern side of Beijing. During the beginning of its construction, the project faced a series of serious water environment crises such as eutrophication, flood risk, water shortage, and high maintenance costs. To address these issues, an integral storrnwater management master plan was developed based on the concept of low impact development (LID). A large number of LID and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) approaches were designed and applied in the community to replace traditional stormwater drainage systems completely. These approaches mainly included bioretention (which captured nearly 85th percentile volume of the annual runoff in the site, nearly 5.4 x 10^5 m3 annually), swales (which functioned as a substitute for traditional stormwater pipes), waterscapes, and stormwater wetlands. Finally, a stormwater system plan was proposed by integrating with the gray water system, landscape planning, an architectural master plan, and related consultations that supported the entire construction period. After more than 10 years of planning, designing, construction, and operation, Oriental Sun City has become one of the earliest modem large-scale LID communities in China. Continuous urbanization over the last few years has led to the increase in impervious surfaces and stormwater runoff.Low Impact Development(LID)is currently receiving increased attention as a promising strategy for surface runoff management.To analyze the performance of LID practices for surface runoff management,a longterm hydrological modeling from 2001 to 2015 along with a cost-effectiveness analysis were carried out on a campus in Dresden,Germany.Seven LID practices and six precipitation scenarios were designed and simulated in a Storm Water Management Model(SWMM).A cost-effectiveness analysis was conducted by calculating the lifecycle costs and runoff removal rate of LID practices.Results demonstrated that the LID practices significantly contributed to surface runoff mitigation in the study area.The LID performance was primarily affected by the length of the precipitation scenarios and LID implementing schemes.The runoff removal rate of the LID practices fluctuated significantly when the rainfall scenario was shorter than 12 months.When the rainfall scenario exceeded 1 year the effects on the runoff removal rate was constant.The combination of an infiltration trench,permeable pavement,and rain barrel(IT+PP+RB),was the best runoff control capacity with a removal rate ranging from 23.2% to 27.4%.Whereas,the rain barrel was the most cost-effective LID option with a costeffectiveness(C/E)ratio ranged from 0.34 to 0.41.The modeling method was improved in this study by conducting long-term hydrological simulations with different durations rather than short-term simulations with single storms.In general,the methods and results of this study provided additional improvements and guidance for decision-making process regarding the implementation of appropriate LID practices. 展开更多

在全球气候变暖的大背景和人类活动产生的增温效应影响下,青藏高原多年冻土加速退化,致使热融滑塌频发。这一现象不仅直接影响区域生态环境,还对工程建筑物的稳定性造成潜在威胁。本文旨在通过综述青藏高原多年冻土区热融滑塌的研究进展... 在全球气候变暖的大背景和人类活动产生的增温效应影响下,青藏高原多年冻土加速退化,致使热融滑塌频发。这一现象不仅直接影响区域生态环境,还对工程建筑物的稳定性造成潜在威胁。本文旨在通过综述青藏高原多年冻土区热融滑塌的研究进展,概括热融滑塌的形成机理、提取方法、发育特征、影响机理及其对环境和工程的影响等,以期为热融灾害防治和气候变化评估预测提供科学依据。总结得出:热融滑塌的形成是多种复杂因子作用并长期积累的结果,常造成溯源侵蚀。其发育形状各异,以长条形、支岔形、多头舌为主。热融滑塌在空间上呈不均匀分布,集中在青藏工程走廊。其空间分布主要受地形与冻土条件影响。此外,热融滑塌会改变土壤结构和理化过程,对区域碳循环产生影响,进而增加全球或区域性的温室气体排放。监测热融滑塌通常采用高空间分辨率遥感影像解译与无人机实地验证相结合的方式。目前研究中多结合Planet Cube Sat影像与深度学习算法,实现对大范围冻土区热融滑塌的自动识别与制图。Deep Lab V3+等深度学习模型在未来大范围热融滑塌研究中有很好的应用前景。随着我国青藏高原地区工程建设和生态环境保护的需求增长,探究热融滑塌的形成机理、发育特征、影响机理及其对环境和工程的影响,可为青藏高原工程规划、热融灾害防治、环境保护提供理论基础和科学依据。 展开更多
