Since only one task space is provided for performing such tasks in the Windows operating system,a number of computer users feel inconvenience.In this paper,we suggest a 3D Virtual Desktop System which can show a process of switching task spaces in 3D motion using DirectX. Our system aims to make up for the weak points in the Windows operating system,and to provide a computer user with more spaces for performing several tasks as well as the intuitive UI(User Interface),such as Compiz of Linux.展开更多

The method implements a blocklevel storage optimization, by employing the algorithms of chunking image file into blocks, the blockffmger calculation and the block dedup li cation. A File system in Use Space (FUSE) based storage process for VDeskCAS is also introduced which optimizes current direct storage to suit our content addressable storage. An interface level modification makes our system easy to extend. Experiments on virtual desktop image files and normal files verify the effectiveness of our method and above 60% storage volume decrease is a chieved for Red Hat Enterprise Linux image files. Purpose: To present our videoconference system with medical information desktop sharing for radiation therapy and report initial experience using the system and its usefulness. Materials and Methods: A videoconference...Purpose: To present our videoconference system with medical information desktop sharing for radiation therapy and report initial experience using the system and its usefulness. Materials and Methods: A videoconference system for radiation therapy enables radiation oncologists sent to affiliated hospitals to consult a more experienced board-certified doctor at our institution while sharing the same display showing a patient’s information, radiology information system (RIS), and radiation therapy planning (RTP) system. We evaluated cases discussed in videoconferences to determine the influence of the system on treatment policies and radiation therapy plans. Results: From December 2012 to March 2013, treatment policies for 56 cases and radiation therapy plans for 50 cases were discussed in videoconferences. As for treatment policies, no change was made in treatment policy for 33 cases (59%), and minor and major changes were made for 16 (29%) cases and 7 (12%) cases, respectively. Radiation therapy plans for 50 cases were checked. No change was needed for 32 cases (64%), and minor and major changes were needed for 17 (34%) cases and 1 (2%) case, respectively. Conclusion: The videoconference system can be effective for improving the quality of radiation therapy.展开更多

We primary introduced the principle and approach of...Desktop calibration of automatic transmission(AT) is a method which can reduce cost, enhance efficiency and shorten the development periods of a vehicle effectively. We primary introduced the principle and approach of desktop calibration of AT based on the condition of coupling characteristics between engine and torque converter and obtained right point exactly. It is shown to agree with experimental measurements reasonably well. It was used in different applications abroad based on AT technology and achieved a good performance of the vehicle compared with traditional AT technology which primary focuses on the drivability, performance and fuel consumption.展开更多
