Urban memory is the soul and vitality of the city, which is created and maintained by people’s memory of the living environment. However, urban planning and architecture increasingly lose attention to urban memory, r...Urban memory is the soul and vitality of the city, which is created and maintained by people’s memory of the living environment. However, urban planning and architecture increasingly lose attention to urban memory, resulting in the loss of uniqueness of urban appearance, and then affect people’s sense of identity of the city. Therefore, using the theory of typology for reference, a new design tool - urban memory typology is proposed, which focuses on and introduces historical elements into urban design, and maintains urban memory through the protection of cultural heritage. This method involves clarifying the intrinsic relationship between existing buildings and urban space through typology theory, identifying carriers of urban memory, and, on this basis, proposing strategies and technologies for urban renewal. This study verifies the validity of urban memory typology through case analysis, such as the conservation planning of Qingdao Old city. The results show that using the typology theory can protect the city memory, maintain the stability of the city form, and enhance the local identity of the residents, which is a new method of urban planning and design in line with the concept of humanistic care and sustainable development. This research work provides new theoretical guidance and practical strategies for the protection of urban memory and urban planning and design.展开更多

The overall layout of Green space system known as "One Belt & Three Bays, One Core & Six Towns, Two Axes & Three Wedges, Two Net Synchronous-construction" strengthens the eco-connection among different groups and green space in central area of the city, and realizes the collaborative construction of both resource corridor and landscape corridor. 文摘s—In the paper, the three main principles of Landscape Ecology are put forward, that is, Holism Principles, Temporal spatial Scales Principles and Level Organization Principles, Eco cybernetic Principles and Mosaic Stable Principles. It is considered that landscape ecological planning & design (LEPD) is guided by landscape ecological theory, and its basic aim is to create a sustainable landscape ecological system (LES). Furthermore, a framework approach of LEDP is established, and a case study with Zhuolu Basin is taken with the concepts and the approach.

文摘The types of urban-rural recreational greenways were summarized,based on bicycle tourism and their planning methodology was explored.Taking the urban and rural areas of Harbin City as the research objects,the current situation of urban-rural recreational greenway environment and tourism resources was investigated and the evaluation system of bicycle tourism resources was established and tourism resources were evaluated according to the AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to select suitable resources for bicycle tourism.Through the ArcGIS software,the currently available resources(rivers,wetlands,transportations and urban-layout)and suitable bicycle tourism resources were superimposed,and the spatial pattern planning and classification planning of urban-rural recreational greenway based on bicycle tourism were carried out.To the end,insights for the development of urbanrural recreational greenway in the future were provided.

文摘This paper, based on a case study of public participation in Danny Woo Community Park in Seattle, explored public participation in community landscape planning and design and analyzed the present situation, main forms and problems of public participation in development planning of community setting in China, so as to provide constructive reference for public participation in Chinese community planning and design that involves public interests.
