Methods: 120 cases conformed to the diagnostic criteria of the Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders-Version 3 (CCMD-3) and were diagnosed as having insomnia of the deficiency type were divided randomly into a treatment group and a control group, 60 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with the XIA's No.1 Sleeping Prescription, while the control group was given estazolam (ling) for 6 weeks. The Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS) was used to evaluate the clinical therapeutic effects, while the treatment emergent symptom scale (TESS) was used to evaluate adverse reactions. Results: The total effective rate of the treatment group (80%) was higher than that of the control group (70%), but with no significant difference (P〉0.05). The effective rate for long-term insomnia was 77.8% in the treatment group and 52.4% in the control group, with a significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). The adverse reactions shown in the treatment group were obviously fewer and milder than those in the control group. Conclusion: The XIA's No. 1 Sleeping Prescription is effective for insomnia of the deficiency type and with no obvious toxic side effects.展开更多

Methods: From January 2020 to December 2021, 223 patients with laboratory-confirmed HP infection who were admitted to the Outpatient and Inpatient Department of Internal Medicine in our hospital were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into two groups. 101 patients in the control group were given standard anti HP quadruple therapy;122 cases in the treatment group were given traditional Chinese medicine Jianpi Qushi powder combined with standard anti HP quadruple therapy. The two groups were rechecked carbon breath test after the designed course of treatment, and the curative effects of the two groups were compared. Results: 113 cases in the treatment group were cured by traditional Chinese medicine Jianpi Qushi powder combined with standard anti HP quadruple therapy, and the cure rate was 92.62%. 84 cases in the control group were cured by standard anti HP quadruple therapy, and the cure rate was 83.17%, χ2 = 4.7955, P = 0.0285, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine Jianpi Qushi powder combined with standard anti HP quadruple therapy in the treatment of HP infectious gastritis with spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation is one of the best treatment schemes for HP infection. The results of this study achieve the best clinical treatment effect, and provide a more valuable and reliable method for the treatment of gastropathy in clinical internal medicine, which is worthy of popularization and application.展开更多

Methods: from May 2019 to May 2020, 88 patients with non-stomach deficiency and stomachache in our hospital were selected, and all of them were divided by drawing lot as the observation group (44 cases, acupuncture treatment) and the control group (44 cases, acupuncture treatment alone). The total effective rate and quality of life score of the two groups were observed. Results: there was no significant difference in quality of life score between the two groups before treatment, but there was significant difference in total effective rate and quality of life score between the two groups after treatment (P < 0.05). Conclusion: acupuncture combined with moxibustion can achieve high therapeutic effect for patients with epigastric pain of spleen stomach deficiency cold type, effectively alleviate patients' clinical symptoms and improve patients' quality of life score, which can be vigorously promoted in clinical experiments.展开更多

Methods: fifty patients with decompensated chronic renal insufficiency who were admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to August 2021, all patients with spleen and kidney yang deficiency, were randomly divided into the study group and the control group (each group 25 cases). The control group was given routine treatment for chronic renal insufficiency in decompensated stage, and the study group was given the modified Quxie Fushen decoction at the same time. Results: after treatment, the total effective rate of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group;the inflammatory indexes such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor- α were lower than those in the control group, and the renal function indexes such as serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen were lower than those in the control group. In the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Quxie Fushen decoction for the treatment of patients with chronic renal insufficiency in the decompensated stage of spleen- kidney yang deficiency is of outstanding value in improving the curative effect, promoting the improvement of inflammatory conditions and improving renal function.展开更多

Hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis dysregulation is important in the pathogenesis of PCOS and the associated chronic excess of sex hormones can lead to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, and malignancies such as endometrial cancer, and breast cancer. At present, most scholars agree that lifestyle interventions in conjunction with drug treatment can help PCOS patients achieve their goals of successful pregnancy and childbirth.AIM To investigate the clinical effect of an online and offline(O2O) preventive health management model on PCOS with kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness.METHODS A total of 82 patients with PCOS of the kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness type who were admitted to Beijing Luhe Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from April 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with oral Diane-35 for 3 mo and received preventive O2O medical health management for 6 mo(including eating and living, exercise, drug management). The control group was treated with oral Diane-35 for 3 mo and completed outpatient health education. The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome score, acne score, hair score, sex hormone level and clinical effects were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. RESULTS After treatment, the TCM syndrome score, acne score, and serum luteinizing hormone/follicle stimulating hormone level were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P < 0.05). After 3 mo of treatment, the TCM syndrome curative effect index in the treatment group was 97.30% compared to 54.05% in the control group(P < 0.05), whereas the total treatment effect in the treatment group was 91.89%, compared to 54.05% in the control group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION An integrated therapeutic approach incorporating medication, TCM methods and social media is more effective than standard treatment for PCOS.展开更多
