Data space,as an innovative data management and sharing model,is emerging in the medical and health sectors.This study expounds on the conceptual connotation of data space and delineates its key technologies,including distributed data storage,standardization and interoperability of data sharing,data security and privacy protection,data analysis and mining,and data space assessment.By analyzing the real-world cases of data spaces within medicine and health,this study compares the similarities and differences across various dimensions such as purpose,architecture,data interoperability,and privacy protection.Meanwhile,data spaces in these fields are challenged by the limited computing resources,the complexities of data integration,and the need for optimized algorithms.Additionally,legal and ethical issues such as unclear data ownership,undefined usage rights,risks associated with privacy protection need to be addressed.The study notes organizational and management difficulties,calling for enhancements in governance framework,data sharing mechanisms,and value assessment systems.In the future,technological innovation,sound regulations,and optimized management will help the development of the medical and health data space.These developments will enable the secure and efficient utilization of data,propelling the medical industry into an era characterized by precision,intelligence,and personalization. 展开更多

A two-dimensional forward and backward algorithm for the controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric (CSAMT) method is developed to invert data in the entire region (near, transition, and far) and deal with the effects of artificial sources. First, a regularization factor is introduced in the 2D magnetic inversion, and the magnetic susceptibility is updated in logarithmic form so that the inversion magnetic susceptibility is always positive. Second, the joint inversion of the CSAMT and magnetic methods is completed with the introduction of the cross gradient. By searching for the weight of the cross-gradient term in the objective function, the mutual influence between two different physical properties at different locations are avoided. Model tests show that the joint inversion based on cross-gradient theory offers better results than the single-method inversion. The 2D forward and inverse algorithm for CSAMT with source can effectively deal with artificial sources and ensures the reliability of the final joint inversion algorithm. 展开更多

In consultative committee for space data systems(CCSDS) file delivery protocol(CFDP) recommendation of reliable transmission,there are no detail transmission procedure and delay calculation of prompted negative acknowledge and asynchronous negative acknowledge models.CFDP is designed to provide data and storage management,story and forward,custody transfer and reliable end-to-end delivery over deep space characterized by huge latency,intermittent link,asymmetric bandwidth and big bit error rate(BER).Four reliable transmission models are analyzed and an expected file-delivery time is calculated with different trans-mission rates,numbers and sizes of packet data units,BERs and frequencies of external events,etc.By comparison of four CFDP models,the requirement of BER for typical missions in deep space is obtained and rules of choosing CFDP models under different uplink state informations are given,which provides references for protocol models selection,utilization and modification. 展开更多

This study provides a definition for urban big data while exploring its features and applications of Chi- na's city intelligence. The differences between city intelligence in China and the "smart city" concept in other countries are compared to highlight and contrast the unique definition and model for China's city intelligence in this paper. Furthermore, this paper examines the role of urban big data in city intel- ligence by showing that it not only serves as the cornerstone of this trend as it also plays a core role in the diffusion of city intelligence technology and serves as an inexhaustible resource for the sustained development of city intelligence. This study also points out the challenges of shaping and developing of China's urban big data. Considering the supporting and core role that urban big data plays in city intel- ligence, the study then expounds on the key points of urban big data, including infrastructure support, urban governance, public services, and economic and industrial development. Finally, this study points out that the utility of city intelligence as an ideal policy tool for advancing the goals of China's urban de- velopment. In conclusion, it is imperative that China make full use of its unique advantages-including using the nation's current state of development and resources, geographical advantages, and good hu- man relations-in subjective and objective conditions to promote the development of city intelligence through the proper application of urban big data. 展开更多

Based on surfaced-related multiple elimination (SRME) , this research has derived the methods on multiples elimination in the inverse data space. Inverse data processing means moving seismic data from forward data space (FDS) to inverse data space ( IDS) . The surface-related multiples and primaries can then be sepa-rated in the IDS, since surface-related multiples wi l l form a focus region in the IDS. Muting the multiples ener-gy can achieve the purpose of multiples elimination and avoid the damage to primaries energy during the process of adaptive subtraction. Randomized singular value decomposition ( RSYD) is used to enhance calculation speed and improve the accuracy in the conversion of FDS to IDS. The synthetic shot record of the salt dome model shows that the relationship between primaries and multiples is simple and clear, and RSVD can easily eliminate multiples and save primaries energy. Compared with conventional multiples elimination methods and ordinary methods of multiples elimination in the inverse data space, this technique has an advantage of high cal-culation speed and reliable outcomes. 展开更多

The Chang'e-3 (CE-3) mission is China's first exploration mission on the surface of the Moon that uses a lander and a rover. Eight instruments that form the scientific payloads have the following objectives: (1) investigate the morphological features and geological structures at the landing site; (2) integrated in-situ analysis of minerals and chemical compositions; (3) integrated exploration of the structure of the lunar interior; (4) exploration of the lunar-terrestrial space environment, lunar sur- face environment and acquire Moon-based ultraviolet astronomical observations. The Ground Research and Application System (GRAS) is in charge of data acquisition and pre-processing, management of the payload in orbit, and managing the data products and their applications. The Data Pre-processing Subsystem (DPS) is a part of GRAS. The task of DPS is the pre-processing of raw data from the eight instruments that are part of CE-3, including channel processing, unpacking, package sorting, calibration and correction, identification of geographical location, calculation of probe azimuth angle, probe zenith angle, solar azimuth angle, and solar zenith angle and so on, and conducting quality checks. These processes produce Level 0, Level 1 and Level 2 data. The computing platform of this subsystem is comprised of a high-performance computing cluster, including a real-time subsystem used for processing Level 0 data and a post-time subsystem for generating Level 1 and Level 2 data. This paper de- scribes the CE-3 data pre-processing method, the data pre-processing subsystem, data classification, data validity and data products that are used for scientific studies. 展开更多

Satellite networking communications in navigation satellite system and spacebased deep space exploration have the features of a long delay and high bit error rate (BER). Through analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the Consulta tive Committee for the Space Data System (CCSDS) file delivery protocol (CFDP), a new improved repeated sending file delivery protocol (RSFDP) based on the adaptive repeated sending is put forward to build an efficient and reliable file transmission. According to the estimation of the BER of the transmission link, RSFDP repeatedly sends the lost protocol data units (PDUs) at the stage of the retransmission to improve the success rate and reduce time of the retransmission. Theoretical analyses and results of the Opnet simulation indicate that the performance of RSFDP has significant improvement gains over CFDP in the link with a long delay and high BER. The realizing results based on the space borne filed programmable gate array (FPGA) platform show the applicability of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

The well-known CCSDS(consultative committee for space data systems) LDPC(low density parity check) code for near-earth applications is discussed and used for a case study of Mc Eliece system. First, a data error is picked out with the CCSDS LDPC code. The problem with its generator matrix is illustrated and overcome by a shortened code with some middle code bits deleted. In correspondence, its parity check matrix is also revised with the new quasi-cyclic(QC)-LDPC code. Second, a fast decoding scheme for general QC-LDPC codes is proposed based on flipping bits and fetching words. Besides, a lightweight CCSDS LDPC code based Mc Eliece system can be set up with such codes. The repaired CCSDS LDPC code is supposed to be still useful for communications and storages, and the normalized decoding algorithm is also efficient for general QC-LDPC codes. 展开更多

An image compression method for space multispectral time delay and integration charge coupled device camera

Multispectral time delay and integration charge coupled device (TDICCD) image compression requires a low- complexity encoder because it is usually completed on board where the energy and memory are limited. The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) has proposed an image data compression (CCSDS-IDC) algorithm which is so far most widely implemented in hardware. However, it cannot reduce spectral redundancy in mukispectral images. In this paper, we propose a low-complexity improved CCSDS-IDC (ICCSDS-IDC)-based distributed source coding (DSC) scheme for multispectral TDICCD image consisting of a few bands. Our scheme is based on an ICCSDS-IDC approach that uses a bit plane extractor to parse the differences in the original image and its wavelet transformed coefficient. The output of bit plane extractor will be encoded by a first order entropy coder. Low-density parity-check-based Slepian-Wolf (SW) coder is adopted to implement the DSC strategy. Experimental results on space multispectral TDICCD images show that the proposed scheme significantly outperforms the CCSDS-IDC-based coder in each band. 展开更多

In this paper, we establish the global existence and uniqueness of the solution of the Cauchy problem of a one-dimensional compressible isentropic Euler system for a Chaplygin gas with large initial data in the space Lloc1. The hypotheses on the initial data may be the least requirement to ensure the existence of a weak solution in the Lebesgue measurable sense. The novelty and also the essence of the difficulty of the problem lie in the fact that we have neither the requirement on the local boundedness of the density nor that which is bounded away from vacuum. We develop the previous results on this degenerate system.The method used is Lagrangian representation, the essence of which is characteristic analysis.The key point is to prove the existence of the Lagrangian representation and the absolute continuity of the potentials constructed with respect to the space and the time variables.We achieve this by finding a property of the fundamental theorem of calculus for Lebesgue integration, which is a sufficient and necessary condition for judging whether a monotone continuous function is absolutely continuous. The assumptions on the initial data in this paper are believed to also be necessary for ruling out the formation of Dirac singularity of density. The ideas and techniques developed here may be useful for other nonlinear problems involving similar difficulties. 展开更多

Deep space communication has its own features such as long propagation delays,heavy noise,asymmetric link rates,and intermittent connectivity in space,therefore TCP/IP protocol cannot perform as well as it does in terrestrial communications.Accordingly,the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS) developed CCSDS File Delivery Protocol(CFDP),which sets standards of efficient file delivery service capable of transferring files to and from mass memory located in the space segment.In CFDP,four optional acknowledge modes are supported to make the communication more reliable.In this paper,we gave a general introduction of typical communication process in CFDP and analysis of its four Negative Acknowledgement(NAK) modes on the respect of file delivery delay and times of retransmission.We found out that despite the shortest file delivery delay,immediate NAK mode suffers from the problem that frequent retransmission may probably lead to network congestion.Thus,we proposed a new mode,the error counter-based NAK mode.By simulation of the case focused on the link between a deep space probe on Mars and a ter-restrial station on Earth,we concluded that error counter-based NAK mode has successfully reduced the retransmission times at negligible cost of certain amount of file delivery delay. 展开更多

The power transformer is the core equipment of a power system,and its reliable operation is crucial for maintaining the safety and stability of power grids.Dissolved gases in insulating oil are an important information source for analyzing transformer operating status and fault diagnosis.At present,intelligent fault diagnosis methods for power transformers are mostly based on classification algorithms,but the diagnosis models may be relatively complicated.Some models have poor generalization ability when training samples are scarce.Clustering algorithms can better deal with this problem.Fault diagnosis of transformers based on a clustering algorithm primarily utilizes the proportional data of dissolved gases as features,which have not considered abundant gas ratio features,and those clustering methods are prone to invalid clustering.In order to solve those problems,this paper uses more features as information sources of power transformer diagnosis based on clustering method.Different clustering spaces are considered for different fault types.Clustering centers are found on samples with the same fault type,which aims to expand the data distribution difference in different fault types.This paper also uses genetic algorithm(GA)to optimize multiple data clustering spaces and improve clustering effect.Based on multiple data sets,it is verified that the proposed method can effectively avoid the occurrence of invalid clustering,and the difference among different fault types based on multiple clustering spaces method is more obvious. 展开更多

The authors of this paper have previously proposed the global virtual data space system (GVDS) to aggregate the scattered and autonomous storage resources in China’s national supercomputer grid (National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou, National Supercomputing Center in Jinan, National Supercomputing Center in Changsha, Shanghai Supercomputing Center, and Computer Network Information Center in Chinese Academy of Sciences) into a storage system that spans the wide area network (WAN), which realizes the unified management of global storage resources in China. At present, the GVDS has been successfully deployed in the China National Grid environment. However, when accessing and sharing remote data in the WAN, the GVDS will cause redundant transmission of data and waste a lot of network bandwidth resources. In this paper, we propose an edge cache system as a supplementary system of the GVDS to improve the performance of upper-level applications accessing and sharing remote data. Specifically, we first designs the architecture of the edge cache system, and then study the key technologies of this architecture: the edge cache index mechanism based on double-layer hashing, the edge cache replacement strategy based on the GDSF algorithm, the request routing based on consistent hashing method, and the cluster member maintenance method based on the SWIM protocol. The experimental results show that the edge cache system has successfully implemented the relevant operation functions (read, write, deletion, modification, etc.) and is compatible with the POSIX interface in terms of function. Further, it can greatly reduce the amount of data transmission and increase the data access bandwidth when the accessed file is located at the edge cache system in terms of performance, i.e., its performance is close to the performance of the network file system in the local area network (LAN). 展开更多

This paper proposes a framework for secure sensitive data sharing on a big data platform, including secure data delivery, storage, usage, and destruction on a semi-trusted big data sharing platform. We present a proxy re-encryption algorithm based on heterogeneous ciphertext transformation and a user process protection method based on a virtual machine monitor, which provides support for the realization of system functions. The framework protects the security of users' sensitive data effectively and shares these data safely. In this paper, we target a similarity search among data supply chains, which plays an essential role in optimizing the supply chain and extending its value. This problem is very challenging for application-oriented data supply chains because the high complexity of the data supply chain makes the computation of similarity extremely complex and inefficient. In this paper, we propose a feature space representation model based on key points,which can extract the key features from the subsequences of the original data supply chain and simplify it into a feature vector form. Then, we formulate the similarity computation of the subsequences based on the multiscale features. Further, we propose an improved hierarchical clustering algorithm for a similarity search over the data supply chains. The main idea is to separate the subsequences into disjoint groups such that each group meets one specific clustering criteria; thus, the cluster containing the query object is the similarity search result. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is both effective and efficient for data supply chain retrieval. 展开更多

We investigate consumption inequality in China both theoretically by constructing a theoretical model that delineates the transmission channels by which income shocks affect consumption and empirically through an Unequally Spaced Dynamic Panel Data model estimation. We find that China is experiencing consumption inequality with the full partial insurance of consumption against both permanent and transitory income shocks, although the impact of both types of shock are larger than the case of the United States. The results are due to precautionary savings motives of the Chinese. We further document how income becomes more dispersed in China and show how the family background of a child affects his outcome to a large extent. Policy implications based on our findings are proposed. 展开更多
