With the rise of data-intensive research,data literacy has become a critical capability for improving scientific data quality and achieving artificial intelligence(AI)readiness.In the biomedical domain,data are charac...With the rise of data-intensive research,data literacy has become a critical capability for improving scientific data quality and achieving artificial intelligence(AI)readiness.In the biomedical domain,data are characterized by high complexity and privacy sensitivity,calling for robust and systematic data management skills.This paper reviews current trends in scientific data governance and the evolving policy landscape,highlighting persistent challenges such as inconsistent standards,semantic misalignment,and limited awareness of compliance.These issues are largely rooted in the lack of structured training and practical support for researchers.In response,this study builds on existing data literacy frameworks and integrates the specific demands of biomedical research to propose a comprehensive,lifecycle-oriented data literacy competency model with an emphasis on ethics and regulatory awareness.Furthermore,it outlines a tiered training strategy tailored to different research stages—undergraduate,graduate,and professional,offering theoretical foundations and practical pathways for universities and research institutions to advance data literacy education.展开更多

The paper proposes to enhance the data literacy ability of teachers from the perspective of organizational learning. Through building a digital culture, building a data-driven teaching environment, and constructing an interdisciplinary learning community to further promote the application of the theory and practice of datafication inside and outside the organization, and ultimately improve the quality of teaching.展开更多
To establish a data literacy evaluation system for social science scholars is a part of transformation to data-intensive scientific research paradigm in social science.Based on the literature review of data literacy a...To establish a data literacy evaluation system for social science scholars is a part of transformation to data-intensive scientific research paradigm in social science.Based on the literature review of data literacy and survey of social science data management features,this paper analyzed the elements of data literacy of social science scholars.The data literacy of social science scholars ma inly consists of data awareness level,data discovery and access ability,data management and organization ability,data processing and analysis ability,data utilization and preservation ability,and data ethics level.Each of these primary indexes has several secondary indexes.It constructed the evaluation system of social science scholars data literacy.The weights of the primary and secondary indexes in the system were calculated by applying AHP.The data literacy evaluation system for social science scholars can provide a reference for assessing and promoting social science scholars'data literacy ability in China.展开更多
