At present China-U.S.trade relations are in a state of confusion.Although both countries have gained tremendous benefits from the bilateral trade relationship,some Americans have intentionally distorted some basic fac...At present China-U.S.trade relations are in a state of confusion.Although both countries have gained tremendous benefits from the bilateral trade relationship,some Americans have intentionally distorted some basic facts regarding China-U.S.trade relations. Based on an analysis of some official and nonofficial research reports published in the United States,this article holds that the China-U.S.trade imbalance is the symptom of a bigger issue stemming from the contradiction between the United States as the world's sole superpower and China as an emerging power.Economic globalisation came about due to the needs of western developed countries represented by the United States to boost economic development.Only by seizing the opportunities of economic globalisation, has China gained strong economic growth. Such a development is changing the world political,economic,military and cultural landscape that have been shaped since the post-cold-war era,and has to some extent raised doubt or suspicion on the part of the United States and its western allies.This is a manifestation of how unprepared some people in the United States and other western countries are in the face of China's rapid development and rising status.So,their immediate reaction has been to seek protection for themselves,and try their utmost to prevent China's rapid growth from impacting on the international framework and their vested interests.展开更多

In this paper,a novel wideband 8-element multiple-input and multiple-output(MIMO)antenna based on Booker’s relation is proposed for the fifth generation(5G)handset applications.The 8 antenna elements are arranged sym...In this paper,a novel wideband 8-element multiple-input and multiple-output(MIMO)antenna based on Booker’s relation is proposed for the fifth generation(5G)handset applications.The 8 antenna elements are arranged symmetrically along the two longer vertical side-edge frames of the handset.Each antenna element is composed of a monopole and a slot radiation structure,in which wideband characteristic covering 3140-5620MHz can be obtained.Note that the L-shaped monopole and the slot can be deemed as complementary counterparts approximatively.Furthermore,the Z-parameter of the proposed wideband antenna element is equivalent to the shunt impedance of monopole as well as slot radiator.Based on Booker’s relation,the wideband input impedance characteristic is therein achieved compared with conventional wideband technique such as multiresonance.Four L-shaped stubs as well as two slots etched on the ground plane are utilized to achieve acceptable isolation performance better than 13 dB,with total efficiency higher than 60%and envelope correlation coefficients(ECCs)lower than 0.1.The proposed antenna scheme can be a good candidate for 5G handset applications with the advantages of wideband,simple structure,high efficiency,and acceptable isolation performance.Also,the scheme might be a rewarding attempt to promote the Booker’s relation in the application of 5G terminal MIMO antenna designs.展开更多

On July 3, the Washington Post published an open letter signed by 100 people from the academic, diplomatic, military, and business circles of the U.S. to President Trump and the U.S. Congress, affirming that the consensus is the intention of the two peoples and is in line with the expectations of the international community. Click-streams of online shopping are the tracks/trails of interactions between a customer and a vendor.We observe that it is of great importance both in theory and practice to explore a deep analysis method for analyz...Click-streams of online shopping are the tracks/trails of interactions between a customer and a vendor.We observe that it is of great importance both in theory and practice to explore a deep analysis method for analyzing click-stream information of an individual customer in a specific transaction for understanding the bidirectional value transfer within the machine-human interaction of an online store and for its personalization.We analyze the significance,the hierarchical structure and the characteristics of click-stream information and propose that Ricoeur's hermeneutic theory be the foundation of forming such a deep analysis method.Then we use the empirical context information of the click-stream to improve the naive interpretation put forward by Ricoeur.Moreover,we apply the Grounded Theory to extend the deep analysis of Ricoeur's theory of textual interpretation.The improved theory fits well with the needs of interpretation and the analysis of click-stream information.We exemplify and show the feasibility of this analysis method by using data collected(a single case)from a large study of human-computer interaction.展开更多
