DC. with the aim to provide references for the improvement of artificial cultivated A. lancea quality. [Method] Three precursors were added into the MS rooting medium for A. lancea tissue culture plantlets and the volatile oil was extracted by ultrasonication after cultured for several days. The content of atractylon, atractylol, β-eucalyptol and atractydin in the volatile oil were determined by using gas chromatography method. [Result] The addition of xylose, isoprene and tetrahydrofuran impacted the growth indicators, yield of volatile oil and relative percentage content of the four constituents of A. lancea tissue culture plantlets. In the 6 g/L xylose optimized medium, the atractylon and β-eucalyptol content reached up to 4.23% and 56.34%, respectively, 1.41% and 1.66% higher than the control; although the addition of isoprene into medium raised the atractylon content, the accumulation of total volatile oil was inhibited that it decreased by 23.67%, 31.06% and 7.10% to the control; for the tetrahydrofuran optimized medium, the content of atractylon, atractylol and atractydin all increased, and the total volatile oil content increased by 49.97% to the control when the concentration of tetrahydrofuran was 0.07 g/L. [Conclusion] The addition of xylose and tetrahydrofuran promoted the accumulation of principal constituents of the volatile oil, whereas the addition of isoprene inhibited the accumulation.展开更多

In the present study, we investigated the effect of Biebersteinia multifida DC. root extract on performance of the Forced Swimming Test (FST), and on blood biochemical parameters related to fatigue: Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatine Kinase (CK), Lactic Dehydrogenase (LDH), Glucose (Glc), and Total Protein (TP). Biebersteinia multifida DC. root extract was orally administered to mice at the doses 4, 7 and 10 mg/kg continuously once per day for 1 and 7 days using a feeding atraumatic needle. After 7 days, on FST the immobility time was decreased in the treated-groups at the doses 4 and 7 mg/kg, but after 1 day, only the immobility time of the treated- group at the dose of 4 mg/kg was decreased significantly. In addition, the content of Glc and TP in the blood serum was significantly increased in the groups receiving 4 and 7 mg/kg of Biebersteinia multifida DC. root extract for 7 days and LDH was decreased significantly. However, the levels of BUN and CK did not show a significant change. The results predict a potential benefit of Biebersteinia multifida DC. root extract as an anti-fatigue treatment and for improving physical stamina.展开更多

In the present study, we aimed to develop an oral pharmaceutical formulation(capsule) of the standardized AL crude ethanolic extract for further clinical development in patients with CCA. Major steps included macroscopic and microscopic authentication of the AL rhizomes, preparation of standardized AL extract, preparation of oral pharmaceutical formulation(capsule) of the standardized AL extract, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the marker compound(atractylodin) in the formulated AL extract, evaluation of contaminations of heavy metals, pesticides residues, and microorganisms in the ground AL rhizomes and the formulated(capsule) powder of AL, physicochemical and pharmaceutical properties of the formulated AL extract/capsule, and cytotoxicity evaluation of the formulated AL extract. Results of all evaluations confirmed satisfactory pharmaceutical properties of oral(capsule) formulation of the standardized AL extract.

文摘In this study, newly sprouted shoots of Zanthoxylum armatum(Z.armatum),which were collected after the harvesting period, were used as the primary experimental specimens.A randomized block design and paraffin sectioning method were used to investigate the flower bud differentiation process and the quantity and vitality of buds.Furthermore, the study examined the response of flowering and fruiting to cultivation methods for shoot growth, including layering and plant growth regulator application. The results showed that(a)layering and application of plant growth regulators for Z.armatum accelerated the process of flower bud differentiation by approximately 20 days compared to the control group.Additionally, both shoot control methods generated more and larger bud primordia and perianth primordia during the same differentiation phase.(b)The application of plant growth regulators resulted in well-developed buds, exhibiting higher levels of flower bud differentiation than the layering method. The quality of flower bud formation for both shoot control methods was superior to that of the control group.(c)The flowering phenological period was relatively consistent between the two cultivation methods, but the fruit maturity phase for shoot-controlled trees occurred 20 days earlier than the control group.(d)Both layering and the application of plant growth regulators significantly decreased the rates of unfertilized flower shedding and fruit shedding. However,no significant difference was noted in fruit setting per inflorescence and per flower between the two methods and the control. The effect of altitude for both methods on the fruit setting was not significant.Under both shoot control methods, the Z.armatum exhibited earlier morphological differentiation of flower buds, faster differentiation process, improved flower bud quality, and significantly decreased rates of flower and fruit shedding. Thus, these cultivation methods demonstrated the potential to promote flowering, improve fruit setting, and reduce fruit shedding in Z.armatum.

文摘[ Objective] To observe sub-chronic toxicity of Tephrosia canadida DC. in mice and thus to evaluate their safety to be used as protein feed resources. [ Methed]Sixty-four 6-week-old healthy Kunming mice weighing about 25 g were randomly divided into four groups ( n = 16), half male and half female. Mass ratios of basic diet to leaf meal of Tephrosia canadida DC. in group A, group B, group C and group D were 10:0, 4:1, 3:2 and 2:3, respectively. After 35-d feeding, the effects of Tephrosia canadida DC. on growth, blood and organs of mice were observed. [ Resultl Dudng the trial, all mice had normal activities, and no death and no abnormal blood index were observed. All organs of the mice in the experimental groups had no visible pathological lesion, and organ indexes had no significant difference between the experimental groups and the control group. Except that slightly abnormal histological changes appeared in liver and kidney of the mice in the group C and D, no histological change was ob- served in other organs of the experimental mice. [ Conclusion] Tephrosia canadida DC. have no adverse effects on mice, which provides a refer- ence for research about their safety in feed of other animals.
文摘Biebersteinia multifida DC. has been used for the purpose of development of physical strength in iranian folk medicine. The results predict a potential benefit of Biebersteinia multifida DC. root extract as an anti-fatigue treatment and for improving physical stamina.
