The trajectory of tricritical point, reentrant transitions and degenerate patterns of anisotropy are obtained both for the bond and the anisotropy dilutions. The global phase diagrams demonstrate unusually reentrant phenomena. The temperature dependences of magnetization curves undergo remarkable spin glass behaviour at low temperatures, and transform from ferromagnetism to paramagnetism at high temperature in applied fields. Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility curve is in qualitative agreement with experimental result.展开更多

The saturated clays model was formulatedin the framework of critical state soil mechanics and modified Cam-clay model. The existing model hasbeen generalized to simulate the experimentally observed behavior of unsaturated clays by introducingBishop's stress and suction as independent stress parameters and modifying the hardening rule and yieldcriterion to take into account the role of suction. Also, according to previous studies, an increase intemperature causes a reduction in specific volume. A reduction in suction (wetting) for a given confiningstress may induce an irreversible volumetric compression (collapse). Thus an increase in suction (drying)raises a specific volume i.e. the movement of normal consolidation line (NCL) to higher values of voidratio. However, some experimental data confirm the assumption that this reduction is dependent on thestress level of soil element. A generalized approach considering the effect of stress level on themagnitude of clays thermal dependency in compression plane is proposed in this study. The number ofmodeling parameters is kept to a minimum, and they all have clear physical interpretations, to facilitatethe usefulness of model for practical applications. A step-by-step procedure used for parameter calibrationis also described. The model is finally evaluated using a comprehensive set of experimental datafor the thermo-mechanical behavior of unsaturated soils.2015 Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Calculations were carded out for critical loads of potential acidity, actual acidity, sulfur and nitrogen, with values in extents of 0-3.5, 0-14.0, 0-26.0 and 0-3.5 kmol/(hrnE.year), respectively. These values were comparable to previously reported results and reflected the influences of vegetation and soil characteristics on the soil acid buffering capacity. Simulations of SO2 emission and sulfur deposition in this study showed that sulfur deposition core areas mirrored SO2 emission centers. The prediction of sulfur deposition after 20% and 40% reduction of SO2 emission suggested that the reduction of area sources contributed greatly to the decrease of sulfur deposition. Thus, abatement of area source emissions could be the primary way to mitigate sulfur deposition in Guangdong to meet both the provincial and national regulations of air pollution control.展开更多

文摘Landslides triggered by high gas pressure represent a distinct geotechnical hazard, especially in scenarios without significant rainfall.Recent studies have revealed that high-pressure gas accumulation within slopes can be a dominant trigger for large-scale failures although the processes behind this remain not well understood. This study examines how unsaturated soil slopes fail under high gas pressure using a combination of laboratory experiments and numerical simulations.A key discovery is that gas pressure changes slope stability by redistributing pore fluids and altering effective stress, with distinct depthdependent effects. Moreover,a novel concept of critical stable gas pressure(P_(ac))is proposed as a practical threshold for stability assessment, which is depthdependent, with extreme values at shallow and intermediate depths, reflecting the interplay between gas diffusion and overburden resistance. This study advances the mechanistic understanding of gasinduced slope instability and offers actionable benchmarks for managing related risks in engineering projects including waste landfill management and shale gas operations.

文摘BACKGROUND The prognosis of critically ill patients is closely linked to their gastrointestinal(GI)function. The acute GI injury(AGI)grading system, established in 2012,is extensively utilized to evaluate GI dysfunction and forecast outcomes in clinical settings. In 2021,the GI dysfunction score(GIDS)was developed, building on the AGI grading system,to enhance the accuracy of GI dysfunction severity assessment, improve prognostic predictions, reduce subjectivity, and increase reproducibility.AIM To compare the predictive capabilities of GIDS and the AGI grading system for 28-day mortality in critically ill patients.METHODS A retrospective study was conducted at the general intensive care unit(ICU)of a regional university hospital. All data were collected during the first week of ICU admission. The primary outcome was 28-day mortality.Multivariable logistic regression analyzed whether GIDS and AGI grade were independent risk factors for 28-day mortality. The predictive abilities of GIDS and AGI grade were compared using the receiver operating characteristic curve, with DeLong’s test assessing differences between the curves’areas.RESULTS The incidence of AGI in the first week of ICU admission was 92.13%.There were 85 deaths(47.75%)within 28 days of ICU admission. There was no initial 24-hour difference in GIDS between the non-survival and survival groups. Both GIDS(OR 2.01,95%CI:1.25-3.24;P=0.004)and AGI grade(OR 1.94,95%CI:1.12-3.38;P=0.019)were independent predictors of 28-day mortality. No significant difference was found between the predictive accuracy of GIDS and AGI grade for 28-day mortality during the first week of ICU admission(Z=-0.26,P=0.794).CONCLUSION GIDS within the first 24 hours was an unreliable predictor of 28-day mortality. The predictive accuracy for 28-day mortality from both systems during the first week was comparable.

文摘Virtual organization uses information technology to achieve a closer integration and better management of business relationships between internal and external parties. There are many emerging issues in virtual organization and one of them is knowl- edge sharing. Knowledge sharing that is the core of knowledge management plays a key role in virtual organization. However, game theoretic exploration about knowledge sharing mechanism based on virtual organization is seldom published, In this study, knowledge sharing mechanism in virtual organization enterprise is explored using game theories from two aspects based on the features of knowledge sharing in virtual organization enterprise. Fi- nally, the critical model of knowledge sharing mechanism in virtual organization also is presented based on the perspective of game analysis.
文摘This paper is prepared in honour of Professor E.T.Brown for his outstanding contributions to rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering and also for his personal influence on the first author’s research career in geomechanics and geotechnical engineering. As a result,we have picked a topic that reflects two key research areas in which Professor E.T.Brown has made seminal contributions over a long and distinguished career. These two areas are concerned with the application of the critical state concept to modelling geomaterials and the analysis of underground excavation or tunnelling in geomaterials.Partially due to Professor Brown’s influence, the first author has also been conducting research in these two areas over many years. In particular, this paper aims to describe briefly the development of a unified critical state model for geomaterials together with an application to cavity contraction problems and tunnelling in soils.

文摘This paper studies the critical behaviours and magnetic properties of three-dimensional bond and anisotropy dilution Blume-Capel model (BCM) in the presence of an applied field within the effective field theory. Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility curve is in qualitative agreement with experimental result.
文摘A thermo-mechanical constitutive model for unsaturated clays is constructed based on the existingmodel for saturated clays originally proposed by the authors. 文摘The current acid deposition critical loads in Guangdong, China were calculated using the PROFILE model with a 3 km × 3 km resolution. Thus, abatement of area source emissions could be the primary way to mitigate sulfur deposition in Guangdong to meet both the provincial and national regulations of air pollution control.

文摘A stochastic local limited one-dimensional rice-pile model is numerically investigated. The distributions for avalanche sizes have a clear power-law behavior and it displays a simple finite size scaling. We obtain the avalanche exponents Ts= 1.54±0.10,βs = 2.17±0.10 and TT = 1.80±0.10, βT =1.46 ± 0.10. This self-organized critical model belongs to the same universality class with the Oslo rice-pile model studied by K. Christensen et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 77 (1996) 107], a rice-pile model studied by L.A.N. Amaral et al. [Phys. Rev. E 54 (1996) 4512], and a simple deterministic self-organized critical model studied by M.S. Vieira [Phys. Rev.
