On one hand, insurers see unlimited possibilities of nanotechnology in preventive and repressive activity in relation to losses. On the other hand, understanding the reasons for the application of nanotechnology in the conflict prevention activities of the insurer allows him to develop and implement a more flexible strategy for sustainable development of the business.展开更多

While Omhedi was a contested site of conflict during the war of liberation and served as a stage for ethnographic tours and photography, it has in post-colonial period come to represent a segment of important local power as it is currently the seat of the new Oukwanyama kingship. The central aim of this paper is to explain the transformation of Omhedi as a site of"spectacles" of culture during the colonial period and as the seat of Oukwanyama monarchy in post-colonial Namibia. It centrally asks how the colonial politics of the time influenced the way Omhedi was organized and accessed and the ways in which people attach meaning to and organize a sense of space and place in the postcolonial era. This paper is significant as it explores how political legitimacy can be reactivated at such a contradictory site of"traditional" power like Omhedi and what meanings these hold in terms of access in postcolonial Namibia. I conclude by raising issues of the past with the restoration of the Oukwanyama monarchy and its installation at Omhedi after independence, posing key questions about shifts in political legitimacy in both the colony and the post-colony. My analysis utilizes theories on the important use of landscape as a physical "space" for living, but also as a "place" with its meanings and contributions to societal identity. Consequently the place identity is a particular element contributing to sense of place. I argue that there exists a sense of nostalgia that many Ovakwanyama people have for a precolonial past, and the Omhedi landscape serves that purpose. In analyzing these sentiments against the construction of Omhedi as a space and place, this highlights a sense of identity and belonging that many Ovakwanyama people have towards Omhedi in default of any site with deeper legitimation or authenticity.展开更多

This paper dissects these structural contradictions in terms of sectoral structure, product structure, organizational structure, technical structure, trade structure and spatial structure. Since reform and opening-up in 1978, China has followed a growth-oriented agricultural policy to ensure steady yield increase. Indeed, this policy has effectively increased the output of agricultural produce, safeguarded national food security, and enhanced agricultural production capabilities. However, China's agriculture is yet to become internationally competitive, increase efficiency and farmers' income, and improve the quality and safety of agricultural produce. As China's agricultural development enters into a new stage of comprehensive transition and upgrade, it is essential for China's agricultural policy to shift from the progrowth policy characterized by the dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides to an efficiency and quality-oriented policy that pursues green agriculture.展开更多

It takes up to the imperative mandate, not in Rousseauian molds, but tied to party guidelines, founding party mandates. The ownership of the mandate by the political party moves towards the strengthening of key players who are partisan associations in the electoral process. On the other hand, it is not obvious that political parties meet the necessary conditions for the establishment of an imperative mandate tied to party deliberations, since patent oligarchic and bureaucratic character of much of them, whose process of deliberation and choice of leaders and political positions do not require internal democracy. 文摘The trade-offs and supply-demand relations of ecosystem services(ES)are at the frontier of geographical and ecological studies. However, previous studies have focused on either trade-offs or the supply-demand aspects, while ES conflicts and supply/demand contradictions have not been comprehensively examined. The relation-ship between ES trade-offs and supply-demand is logically valid and studying the coupling of both can provide approaches for simultaneously alleviating ES conflicts and supply-demand contradictions. This study, based on a review of previous analyses of ES trade-offs and supply-demand dynamics, proposes a new analytic framework to couple them.First,we define two types of trade-offs based on the directions of growth or decline of the two ser-vices.We also define the supply-demand balance area and the supply-demand risk area according to the ES flow characteristics.Second, the mechanisms driving ES trade-offs are clarified, and land-use scenarios are set based on the mechanisms.Third, the supply-demand spatial characteristics of ES are analyzed, and supply-demand risk areas are identified. Finally, scenario iterations are performed to minimize the supply-demand risk area at an acceptable trade-offintensity to identify an optimal land use plan, which simultaneously alleviates ES conflicts and supply-demand contradictions. This analytic framework offers new opportunities for improving sustainable ecosystem management.
文摘Air and space is one of the most intense fields of science and technology competition for powerful countries. This paper focuses on the competition to achieve mastery of air and space, and analyzes the impact of fast developing intelligent technologies from six basic contradictions of the war, including hiding and finding, understanding and confusion, network resilience and network degradation, hitting and intercepting, speed of action and decisionmaking, and shaping the perceptions of key crowd. On this basis, aiming at securing competitive advantage in the future, the development directions of intelligent technologies are proposed for the air and space competition.
