The results showed that the feeding objects of Long-tailed Shrike were different in spring and summer, which was directly related to the seasonal food sources. However, they have something in common. The species that Long-tailed Shrike eats directly or indirectly in spring and summer are Carabidae, Columbidae, Muridae, Acridoidea, Cruciferae, Leguminosae, Moraceae, Gramineae, etc. These animal and plant species are widely distributed in the airport. We speculate that the plants and animals in the airport, as the food source of Long-tailed Shrike, to some extent attracted Long-tailed Shrike to come for food and activities. Therefore, we suggest to cut off the food source of brown-backed shrimps in the airport, such as turf management in the flight area, prevention and control of insects, soil animals and rodents, etc., so as to reduce the number of Long-tailed Shrike in the flight area and reduce its impact on flight safety.展开更多
Background Social media listening is a new approach for gathering insights from social media platforms about users experiences.This approach has not been applied to analyse discussions about Alzheimer's disease(AD...Background Social media listening is a new approach for gathering insights from social media platforms about users experiences.This approach has not been applied to analyse discussions about Alzheimer's disease(AD)in China.Aims We aimed to leverage multisource Chinese data to gain deeper insights into the current state of the daily management of Chinese patients with AD and the burdens faced by their caregivers.Methods We searched ninemainstreampublic onlineplatforms in China fromSeptember2010 to March 2024.Natural language processing tools were used to identify patients and caregivers,and categorise patients by disease stage forfurther analysis.We analysed the current state of patient daily management,including diagnosis and treatment,choice oftreatment scenarios,patient safetyand caregiverconcerns.Results Atotal of 1211patientswithAD(66% female,82% aged 60-90)and 756caregiversfor patients with AD were identified from 107556 online sources.Most patients were derived from online consultation platforms(43%),followed by bulletin board system platforms(24%).Among the patients categorised into specific disease stages(n=382),42% were in the moderate stage.The most frequent diagnostic tools included medical history(97%)and symptoms(84%).Treatment options for patients with AD primarily included cholinesterase inhibitors,N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonists and antipsychotics.Both quantitative and qualitative analysis of patients whoexperiencedwandering(n=92)indicated a higher incidence of wandering during the moderate stage of the disease.Most caregivers were family members,with their primary concerns focusing on disease management and treatment(90%),followed by daily life care(37%)and psychosocial support(25%).Conclusions Online platform data provide a broad spectrum of real-world insights into individuals affected byAD in China.This study enhances our understanding of the experiences of patients with AD and their caregivers,providing guidance for developing personalised interventions,providing advicefor caregivers and improving care for patients with AD.展开更多

Purpose:Citations can be used in evaluative bibliometrics to measure the impact of papers.However,citation analysis can be extended by a multi-dimensional perspective on citation impact which is intended to receive mo...Purpose:Citations can be used in evaluative bibliometrics to measure the impact of papers.However,citation analysis can be extended by a multi-dimensional perspective on citation impact which is intended to receive more specific information about the kind of received impact.Design/methodology/approach:Bornmann,Wray,and Haunschild(2019)introduced citation concept analysis(CCA)for capturing the importance and usefulness certain concepts have in subsequent research.The method is based on the analysis of citances-the contexts of citations in citing papers.This study applies the method by investigating the impact of various concepts introduced in the oeuvre of the world-leading French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu.Findings:We found that the most cited concepts are‘social capital’(with about 34%of the citances in the citing papers),‘cultural capital’,and‘habitus’(both with about 24%).On the other hand,the concepts‘doxa’and‘reflexivity’score only about 1%each.Research limitations:The formulation of search terms for identifying the concepts in the data and the citation context coverage are the most important limitations of the study.Practical implications:The results of this explorative study reflect the historical development of Bourdieu’s thought and its interface with different fields of study.Originality/value:The study demonstrates the high explanatory power of the CCA method.展开更多

The derived ecosystem indices were classified into three categories:(1) direct indices, like the trophic level of species, influenced by stomach sample size directly;(2)indirect indices, like ecology efficiency(EE) of invertebrates, influenced by the multiple prey-predator relationships;and(3) systemic indices, like total system throughout(TST), describing the status of the whole ecosystem. The influences of different stomach sample sizes on these indices were evaluated. The results suggest that systemic indices of the ecosystem model were robust to stomach sample sizes, whereas specific indices related to species were indicated to be with low accuracy and precision when stomach samples were insufficient.The indices became more uncertain when the stomach sample sizes varied for more species. This study enhances the understanding of how the quality of diet composition data influences ecosystem modeling outputs. The results can also guide the design of stomach content analysis for developing ecosystem models.展开更多
Objective:To explain barriers to childbearing among working women from the perspective of working women and midwives.Methods:In this study,a qualitative study of content analysis method was employed.The study was cond...Objective:To explain barriers to childbearing among working women from the perspective of working women and midwives.Methods:In this study,a qualitative study of content analysis method was employed.The study was conducted from December 2021 to July 2022.The population consisted of working women and midwives.Data collection was conducted using semi-structured interviews and continued until data saturation was achieved.Through purposeful sampling,10 women and 11 midwives were selected as the sample.The data were analyzed by Graneheim and Lundman content analysis approach.For more rigorous,Nvivo 14 software was also used for data management,analysis,coding and organization of data.Results:This study included 21 women(10 women employees and 11 midwives)aged 25-43 years(for women employees)and 27-56 years(for midwives)with 1 to 34 years of job experience.In examination of participant’views about the barriers to childbearing,1124 codes were identified,of which we managed to extract six subthemes and two themes.Two themes emerged:“lack of social support and lack of family support”.Subthemes of“lack of social support”were“inadequate leave,long distance from workplace,and insufficient wages”.Subthemes of“lack of family support”were“lack of spouse support,lack of spouse's family support,and lack of their family support”.Conclusions:Different socioeconomic factors influence childbearing tendency in working women.Social and family supports play an important role in this regard.It is important to take these factors into account at the time of policymaking in the field of midwifery.展开更多

Pictures books are one of the communication tools for talking with children about severe diseases. However, little research is available about the contents of picture books about cancer for children. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the contents of children’s picture books about cancer and explore the advantages and disadvantages of using picture books to communicate with children about cancer. Methods: We searched the picture books about cancer written for children aged under ten years old on the Amazon.com Web site on 5 July 2019 and hand-searched on the cancer-related institutes’ Web site. We extracted the texts of relevant picture books and conducted a content analysis of them. Results: We identified 2555 picture books and included 30 of them. We identified three main contents, 1) cancer-related knowledge, 2) impacts of cancer, and 3) dealing with cancer. These contents were written with simple words and illustrations. Some of them included the essential contents, which might be misunderstood by children. Conclusions: Picture books might be helpful for children to understand about cancer. However, as these books do not include all contents, it is necessary to select and use multiple books depending on the content which is wanted to tell the child. Further research should evaluate the impacts of these books as a communication tool when talking with children diagnosed with cancer.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate evidence for the efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in systematic reviews.METHODS:Chinese(TCM Periodical Literature Database,Chinese Biological Medicine database,Chinese Medical Curren...OBJECTIVE:To evaluate evidence for the efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in systematic reviews.METHODS:Chinese(TCM Periodical Literature Database,Chinese Biological Medicine database,Chinese Medical Current Contents,China Hospital Knowledge Database journal fulltext database,Virtual Machining and Inspection System,and Wanfang) and English(Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,PubMed and Embase) databases were searched.RESULTS:Three thousand,nine hundred and fifty-five articles were initially identified,606 of which met the inclusion criteria,including 251 in English(83 from the Cochrane Database) and 355 in Chinese.The number of articles published each year increased between 1989 and 2009.Cardiocerebrovascular disease was the most studied target disease.Intervention measures included TCM preparations(177 articles),acupuncture(133 articles) and combinations of TCM and Western Medicine(38 articles).Control measures included positive medical(177 articles),basic treatment(100 articles),placebo(219 articles),and blank and mutual(107 articles).All articles included at least one reference;the greatest number was 268.Six of 10 articles with high quality references demonstrated curative effectsagainst target diseases including upper respiratory tract infection,dementia and depression.Interventions that were not recommended were tripterygium for rheumatoid arthritis and TCM syndrome differentiation for pediatric nocturia.In 10.4% of the studies,the authors concluded that the intervention had a curative effect.The assessors agreed with the authors' conclusions in 88.32% of cases,but rejected 8.94%(54 articles).CONCLUSION:1) Training in systematic review methods,including topic selection,study design,methods and technology,should be improved.2) Upper respiratory tract infection,dementia and depression may become the predominant diseases treated by TCM,and the corresponding interventions could be developed into practical applications.3) Use of non-recommended interventions should be controlled,and there should be more research on side effects.展开更多
Purpose:Research dynamics have long been a research interest.It is a macro perspective tool for discovering temporal research trends of a certain discipline or subject.A micro perspective of research dynamics,however,...Purpose:Research dynamics have long been a research interest.It is a macro perspective tool for discovering temporal research trends of a certain discipline or subject.A micro perspective of research dynamics,however,concerning a single researcher or a highly cited paper in terms of their citations and“citations of citations”(forward chaining)remains unexplored.Design/methodology/approach:In this paper,we use a cross-collection topic model to reveal the research dynamics of topic disappearance topic inheritance,and topic innovation in each generation of forward chaining.Findings:For highly cited work,scientific influence exists in indirect citations.Topic modeling can reveal how long this influence exists in forward chaining,as well as its influence.Research limitations:This paper measures scientific influence and indirect scientific influence only if the relevant words or phrases are borrowed or used in direct or indirect citations.Paraphrasing or semantically similar concept may be neglected in this research.Practical implications:This paper demonstrates that a scientific influence exists in indirect citations through its analysis of forward chaining.This can serve as an inspiration on how to adequately evaluate research influence.Originality:The main contributions of this paper are the following three aspects.First,besides research dynamics of topic inheritance and topic innovation,we model topic disappearance by using a cross-collection topic model.Second,we explore the length and character of the research impact through“citations of citations”content analysis.Finally,we analyze the research dynamics of artificial intelligence researcher Geoffrey Hinton’s publications and the topic dynamics of forward chaining.展开更多
Objective:To explore midwives’views on how they provide healthy eating education to pregnant women after attending a healthy eating education workshop/webinar.Methods:A qualitative descriptive approach was utilized.S...Objective:To explore midwives’views on how they provide healthy eating education to pregnant women after attending a healthy eating education workshop/webinar.Methods:A qualitative descriptive approach was utilized.Semi-structured interviews were conducted to explore the views and experiences of midwives on providing healthy eating education for pregnant women.A purposive sample of six midwives was interviewed face-to-face,and one was conducted by telephone interview.Data were analyzed through qualitative conventional content analysis.Results:Midwives described their views and experiences of factors that impacted their role in providing healthy eating educa-tion.They identified three categories:perceived role of midwi ves,health literacy,and model of care.Conclusions:Knowledge and confidence of midwives improved after attending the workshop/webinar on healthy eating education.Findings suggested that midwives perceived their role as important in providing nutrition education.However,time and resources were highlighted as challenges when providing healthy eating education for pregnant women.The availability of health literacy and model of care were significant factors in enabling midwives to adequately provide this education.Midwives acknowledged a need for further education in areas of vegan diet,cultural food preferences for ethnic minority groups,and regular updates on national healthy eating guidelines.展开更多

Reduction in Duration of labor, cesarean rate, use of anesthesia, and 5 minute Apgar Score less than 7 can achieve. This study was a part of a large mixed method study during 2013-2014. In this qualitative study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 32 participants (16 mother and 16 midwife), using semi-structured interviews. Participants were recruited by pur-posive sampling with maximum diversity in terms of age, occupation, education and etc. Educational hospital of Arak University of Medical Sciences was considered as the setting. Each interview was conducted at a private and convenient location and took about 30 to 45 minutes. Interviews were audio taped and transcribed verbatim. Conventional content analysis was done for data analysis. Interviews continued until data saturation was obtained. Data were coded in MAXQDA software (version 11). The main category emerged as “outcome” of midwife-mother relationship. Facilitating childbirth, positive experience, mental health promotion and improvement in quality of life were derived as subcategories. Good midwife-mother relationship could promote positive outcome in labour. Results could assist midwives in providing holistic quality care to mothers during labour, thus providing positive consequence in child birth. Also, results could provide a framework and guidance for policymakers to create appropriate context for the midwife-mother relationship in maternity care.展开更多

Based on Chinese cultural psychology and multi-disciplinary theoretical system,this study establishes an analytical framework of wealthy people’s charitable donation motives.It takes the donation behavior of 66 phila...Based on Chinese cultural psychology and multi-disciplinary theoretical system,this study establishes an analytical framework of wealthy people’s charitable donation motives.It takes the donation behavior of 66 philanthropists as the research object to discuss charitable donation motives of wealthy people.Through analyzing the content and text of 172 interviews and donation reports,this study verifies the unique influence of acquaintances’charitable motives in Chinese local culture,moral motives in Confucian culture,benevolent people’s love for others,self-promotion,collectivism and patriotism,and differential love on charitable donations of rich Chinese.This study concluded that the donation motives of wealthy Chinese mainly consist of 10 categories,such as expressing appreciation and gratitude,becoming a super representative of philanthropy cause,pursuit of the meaning and value of life,promoting social justice,inheriting the family wealth and family spirit,taking the social responsibility of Chinese entrepreneurs,driving more people to participate in philanthropy cause,improving the welfare of others,acquiring the exchange interests,and due to peer pressure.This research enriches the connotation of“Chinese philanthropy motivation”and discusses the characteristics of philanthropy motives in Chinese context,which can provide reference for improving the donation incentive policies and charitable organization’s fundraising activities.展开更多
Purpose:The research is undertaken to help the Chinese public libraries answer the growing needs for library services to the elderly.Based on an investigation of the current situation of the services to older adults i...Purpose:The research is undertaken to help the Chinese public libraries answer the growing needs for library services to the elderly.Based on an investigation of the current situation of the services to older adults in China and a comparative analysis of the services in the U.S.,we attempt to explore what improvements the Chinese public libraries can make to better serve the needs of older adults.Design/methodology/approach:We empirically analyzed the older adults services of 271public libraries in China from 2002 to 2011 via content analysis of both the print materials such as the regulations and policies released by these libraries and the related information on the libraries' websites and the Internet Web pages.Findings:Great strides have been made in the Chinese public libraries' services to older adults in constructing service systems,providing facilities and equipment,exploring cooperative programming,and planning diversified and regularly scheduled activities.Compared with American counterparts,however,the Chinese public libraries need to catch up in understanding the elderly people as library users,planning customized services,formulating service guidelines and evaluation systems,and working with other local agencies for cooperative programming for seniors in communities.Research limitations:It is hard to collect more data covering more geographical areas and longer periods of time.The content analysis of libraries' policies and regulations is a very rough approximation of the libraries' 'real' services.The study should be extended to visits to public libraries in the future.Practical implications:This study provides useful information for the Chinese library policymakers to formulate regulations and policies to provide services to older adults.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,the comprehensive survey reported in this paper is the first in-depth investigation of the current situation of public library services to older adults in China,providing the analysis framework for more in-depth surveys in the future.展开更多
Education sector has witnessed several changes in the recent past.These changes have forced private universities into fierce competition with each other to get more students enrolled.This competition has resulted in t...Education sector has witnessed several changes in the recent past.These changes have forced private universities into fierce competition with each other to get more students enrolled.This competition has resulted in the adoption of marketing practices by private universities similar to commercial brands.To get competitive gain,universities must observe and examine the students’feedback on their own social media sites along with the social media sites of their competitors.This study presents a novel framework which integrates numerous analytical approaches including statistical analysis,sentiment analysis,and text mining to accomplish a competitive analysis of social media sites of the universities.These techniques enable local universities to utilize social media for the identification of the most-discussed topics by students as well as based on the most unfavorable comments received,major areas for improvement.A comprehensive case study was conducted utilizing the proposed framework for competitive analysis of few top ranked international universities as well as local private universities in Lahore Pakistan.Experimental results show that diversity of shared content,frequency of posts,and schedule of updates,are the key areas for improvement for the local universities.Based on the competitive intelligence gained several recommendations are included in this paper that would enable local universities generally and Riphah international university(RIU)Lahore specifically to promote their brand and increase their attractiveness for potential students using social media and launch successful marketing campaigns targeting a large number of audiences at significantly reduced cost resulting in an increased number of enrolments.展开更多

A total of 10 942 research a...Content analysis of scientific papers emanating from Antarctic science research during the 25 years period （1980-- 2004） has been carried out using neural network based algorithm-CATPAC. A total of 10 942 research articles published in Science Citation Indexed （SCI） journals were used for the study. Normalized co-word matrix from 35 most-used significant words was used to study the semantic association between the words. Structural Equivalence blocks were constructed from these 35 most-used words. Four-block model solution was found to be optimum. The density table was dichotomized using the mean density of the table to derive the binary matrix, which was used to construct the network map. Network maps represent the thematic character of the blocks. The blocks showed preferred connection in establishing semantic relationship with the blocks, characterizing thematic composition of Antarctic science research. The analysis has provided an analytical framework for carrying out studies on the con- tent of scientific articles. The paper has shown the utility of co-word analysis in highlighting the important areas of research in Antarctic science.展开更多

In order to achieve...The aim of this exploratory study is to analyze the effectiveness of website communications regarding thermal tourism and to evaluate the website attributes of thermal tourism facilities in Turkey. In order to achieve this aim, seven main categories （contact information, general information, facility information, thermal/medical and wellness services information, surrounding area information, booking and external contracts information, and technical items） and 55 sub-items are identified. Then websites are analyzed with a content analysis method. One hundred and sixty four thermal facilities in Turkey could be listed and accepted as the population. Systematic sampling method was used with a sample size of 33 thermal facilities. After the frequency analysis, results showed that most of the thermal facilities do not have an efficient website management in Turkey. Although official websites are very critical tools for effective marketing communication, thermal facilities are utilizing only a small potential of their websites.展开更多

文摘Background Social media listening is a new approach for gathering insights from social media platforms about users experiences.This approach has not been applied to analyse discussions about Alzheimer's disease(AD)in China.Aims We aimed to leverage multisource Chinese data to gain deeper insights into the current state of the daily management of Chinese patients with AD and the burdens faced by their caregivers.Methods We searched ninemainstreampublic onlineplatforms in China fromSeptember2010 to March 2024.Natural language processing tools were used to identify patients and caregivers,and categorise patients by disease stage forfurther analysis.We analysed the current state of patient daily management,including diagnosis and treatment,choice oftreatment scenarios,patient safetyand caregiverconcerns.Results Atotal of 1211patientswithAD(66% female,82% aged 60-90)and 756caregiversfor patients with AD were identified from 107556 online sources.Most patients were derived from online consultation platforms(43%),followed by bulletin board system platforms(24%).Among the patients categorised into specific disease stages(n=382),42% were in the moderate stage.The most frequent diagnostic tools included medical history(97%)and symptoms(84%).Treatment options for patients with AD primarily included cholinesterase inhibitors,N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonists and antipsychotics.Both quantitative and qualitative analysis of patients whoexperiencedwandering(n=92)indicated a higher incidence of wandering during the moderate stage of the disease.Most caregivers were family members,with their primary concerns focusing on disease management and treatment(90%),followed by daily life care(37%)and psychosocial support(25%).Conclusions Online platform data provide a broad spectrum of real-world insights into individuals affected byAD in China.This study enhances our understanding of the experiences of patients with AD and their caregivers,providing guidance for developing personalised interventions,providing advicefor caregivers and improving care for patients with AD.
文摘Currently,in STEM environments,female employees are often recognized as minorities due to their positioning or occupancy rate,which may lead to experiences of“imposter syndrome”.This study applies frameworks of mixed-gender discourse,such as limited involvement in activity as an agent,markedness,and gender-differentiated roles,to clarify how women in STEM position themselves or are positioned by the society.Using corpus linguistics and content analysis,it is clarified that female researchers are usually linguistically marked or tend to distinguish themselves as non-experts.Thus,their portrayal within a misogynistic society may considerably interact with how female researchers represent themselves.
文摘Purpose:Citations can be used in evaluative bibliometrics to measure the impact of papers.However,citation analysis can be extended by a multi-dimensional perspective on citation impact which is intended to receive more specific information about the kind of received impact.Design/methodology/approach:Bornmann,Wray,and Haunschild(2019)introduced citation concept analysis(CCA)for capturing the importance and usefulness certain concepts have in subsequent research.The method is based on the analysis of citances-the contexts of citations in citing papers.This study applies the method by investigating the impact of various concepts introduced in the oeuvre of the world-leading French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu.Findings:We found that the most cited concepts are‘social capital’(with about 34%of the citances in the citing papers),‘cultural capital’,and‘habitus’(both with about 24%).On the other hand,the concepts‘doxa’and‘reflexivity’score only about 1%each.Research limitations:The formulation of search terms for identifying the concepts in the data and the citation context coverage are the most important limitations of the study.Practical implications:The results of this explorative study reflect the historical development of Bourdieu’s thought and its interface with different fields of study.Originality/value:The study demonstrates the high explanatory power of the CCA method.

文摘This study used Ecopath model of the Jiaozhou Bay as an example to evaluate the effect of stomach sample size of three fish species on the projection of this model. The derived ecosystem indices were classified into three categories:(1) direct indices, like the trophic level of species, influenced by stomach sample size directly;(2)indirect indices, like ecology efficiency(EE) of invertebrates, influenced by the multiple prey-predator relationships;and(3) systemic indices, like total system throughout(TST), describing the status of the whole ecosystem. The influences of different stomach sample sizes on these indices were evaluated. The results suggest that systemic indices of the ecosystem model were robust to stomach sample sizes, whereas specific indices related to species were indicated to be with low accuracy and precision when stomach samples were insufficient.The indices became more uncertain when the stomach sample sizes varied for more species. This study enhances the understanding of how the quality of diet composition data influences ecosystem modeling outputs. The results can also guide the design of stomach content analysis for developing ecosystem models.

文摘Objective:To explain barriers to childbearing among working women from the perspective of working women and midwives.Methods:In this study,a qualitative study of content analysis method was employed.The study was conducted from December 2021 to July 2022.The population consisted of working women and midwives.Data collection was conducted using semi-structured interviews and continued until data saturation was achieved.Through purposeful sampling,10 women and 11 midwives were selected as the sample.The data were analyzed by Graneheim and Lundman content analysis approach.For more rigorous,Nvivo 14 software was also used for data management,analysis,coding and organization of data.Results:This study included 21 women(10 women employees and 11 midwives)aged 25-43 years(for women employees)and 27-56 years(for midwives)with 1 to 34 years of job experience.In examination of participant’views about the barriers to childbearing,1124 codes were identified,of which we managed to extract six subthemes and two themes.Two themes emerged:“lack of social support and lack of family support”.Subthemes of“lack of social support”were“inadequate leave,long distance from workplace,and insufficient wages”.Subthemes of“lack of family support”were“lack of spouse support,lack of spouse's family support,and lack of their family support”.Conclusions:Different socioeconomic factors influence childbearing tendency in working women.Social and family supports play an important role in this regard.It is important to take these factors into account at the time of policymaking in the field of midwifery.

文摘Images and videos play an increasingly vital role in daily life and are widely utilized as key evidentiary sources in judicial investigations and forensic analysis.Simultaneously,advancements in image and video processing technologies have facilitated the widespread availability of powerful editing tools,such as Deepfakes,enabling anyone to easily create manipulated or fake visual content,which poses an enormous threat to social security and public trust.To verify the authenticity and integrity of images and videos,numerous approaches have been proposed,which are primarily based on content analysis and their effectiveness is susceptible to interference from various image or video post-processing operations.Recent research has highlighted the potential of file containers analysis as a promising forensic approach that offers efficient and interpretable results.However,there is still a lack of review articles on this kind of approach.In order to fill this gap,we present a comprehensive review of file containers-based image and video forensics in this paper.Specifically,we categorize the existing methods into two distinct stages,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.In addition,an overall framework is proposed to organize the exiting approaches.Then,the advantages and disadvantages of the schemes used across different forensic tasks are provided.Finally,we outline the trends in this research area,aiming to provide valuable insights and technical guidance for future research.
文摘Introduction: To tell children that they are diagnosed with cancer is challenging for any healthcare professional and family. Pictures books are one of the communication tools for talking with children about severe diseases. However, little research is available about the contents of picture books about cancer for children. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the contents of children’s picture books about cancer and explore the advantages and disadvantages of using picture books to communicate with children about cancer. Methods: We searched the picture books about cancer written for children aged under ten years old on the Amazon.com Web site on 5 July 2019 and hand-searched on the cancer-related institutes’ Web site. We extracted the texts of relevant picture books and conducted a content analysis of them. Results: We identified 2555 picture books and included 30 of them. We identified three main contents, 1) cancer-related knowledge, 2) impacts of cancer, and 3) dealing with cancer. These contents were written with simple words and illustrations. Some of them included the essential contents, which might be misunderstood by children. Conclusions: Picture books might be helpful for children to understand about cancer. However, as these books do not include all contents, it is necessary to select and use multiple books depending on the content which is wanted to tell the child. Further research should evaluate the impacts of these books as a communication tool when talking with children diagnosed with cancer.
文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate evidence for the efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in systematic reviews.METHODS:Chinese(TCM Periodical Literature Database,Chinese Biological Medicine database,Chinese Medical Current Contents,China Hospital Knowledge Database journal fulltext database,Virtual Machining and Inspection System,and Wanfang) and English(Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,PubMed and Embase) databases were searched.RESULTS:Three thousand,nine hundred and fifty-five articles were initially identified,606 of which met the inclusion criteria,including 251 in English(83 from the Cochrane Database) and 355 in Chinese.The number of articles published each year increased between 1989 and 2009.Cardiocerebrovascular disease was the most studied target disease.Intervention measures included TCM preparations(177 articles),acupuncture(133 articles) and combinations of TCM and Western Medicine(38 articles).Control measures included positive medical(177 articles),basic treatment(100 articles),placebo(219 articles),and blank and mutual(107 articles).All articles included at least one reference;the greatest number was 268.Six of 10 articles with high quality references demonstrated curative effectsagainst target diseases including upper respiratory tract infection,dementia and depression.Interventions that were not recommended were tripterygium for rheumatoid arthritis and TCM syndrome differentiation for pediatric nocturia.In 10.4% of the studies,the authors concluded that the intervention had a curative effect.The assessors agreed with the authors' conclusions in 88.32% of cases,but rejected 8.94%(54 articles).CONCLUSION:1) Training in systematic review methods,including topic selection,study design,methods and technology,should be improved.2) Upper respiratory tract infection,dementia and depression may become the predominant diseases treated by TCM,and the corresponding interventions could be developed into practical applications.3) Use of non-recommended interventions should be controlled,and there should be more research on side effects.

文摘Purpose:Research dynamics have long been a research interest.It is a macro perspective tool for discovering temporal research trends of a certain discipline or subject.A micro perspective of research dynamics,however,concerning a single researcher or a highly cited paper in terms of their citations and“citations of citations”(forward chaining)remains unexplored.Design/methodology/approach:In this paper,we use a cross-collection topic model to reveal the research dynamics of topic disappearance topic inheritance,and topic innovation in each generation of forward chaining.Findings:For highly cited work,scientific influence exists in indirect citations.Topic modeling can reveal how long this influence exists in forward chaining,as well as its influence.Research limitations:This paper measures scientific influence and indirect scientific influence only if the relevant words or phrases are borrowed or used in direct or indirect citations.Paraphrasing or semantically similar concept may be neglected in this research.Practical implications:This paper demonstrates that a scientific influence exists in indirect citations through its analysis of forward chaining.This can serve as an inspiration on how to adequately evaluate research influence.Originality:The main contributions of this paper are the following three aspects.First,besides research dynamics of topic inheritance and topic innovation,we model topic disappearance by using a cross-collection topic model.Second,we explore the length and character of the research impact through“citations of citations”content analysis.Finally,we analyze the research dynamics of artificial intelligence researcher Geoffrey Hinton’s publications and the topic dynamics of forward chaining.

文摘Objective:To explore midwives’views on how they provide healthy eating education to pregnant women after attending a healthy eating education workshop/webinar.Methods:A qualitative descriptive approach was utilized.Semi-structured interviews were conducted to explore the views and experiences of midwives on providing healthy eating education for pregnant women.A purposive sample of six midwives was interviewed face-to-face,and one was conducted by telephone interview.Data were analyzed through qualitative conventional content analysis.Results:Midwives described their views and experiences of factors that impacted their role in providing healthy eating educa-tion.They identified three categories:perceived role of midwi ves,health literacy,and model of care.Conclusions:Knowledge and confidence of midwives improved after attending the workshop/webinar on healthy eating education.Findings suggested that midwives perceived their role as important in providing nutrition education.However,time and resources were highlighted as challenges when providing healthy eating education for pregnant women.The availability of health literacy and model of care were significant factors in enabling midwives to adequately provide this education.Midwives acknowledged a need for further education in areas of vegan diet,cultural food preferences for ethnic minority groups,and regular updates on national healthy eating guidelines.
文摘This study reports on our systematic review of 2008–2021 literature on shadow banking.We present an overview of the shadow banking sector,wherein we discuss the definitions,evolution,functions,and specific activities that comprise it.We conducted a bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer bibliometric tool on articles collected from the Scopus database,after which we conducted content analysis on top articles from leading sources,and identified four major streams of shadow banking literature.Additionally,we identified gaps in the literature and proposed seven research questions to be addressed in future studies to advance knowledge of the shadow banking sector.The findings of this review may serve as a robust reference for scholars researching various aspects of shadow banking to develop our understanding of this sector.
文摘Effective communication and emotional support of parturient women improve the outcome of childbirth. Reduction in Duration of labor, cesarean rate, use of anesthesia, and 5 minute Apgar Score less than 7 can achieve. This study was a part of a large mixed method study during 2013-2014. In this qualitative study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 32 participants (16 mother and 16 midwife), using semi-structured interviews. Participants were recruited by pur-posive sampling with maximum diversity in terms of age, occupation, education and etc. Educational hospital of Arak University of Medical Sciences was considered as the setting. Each interview was conducted at a private and convenient location and took about 30 to 45 minutes. Interviews were audio taped and transcribed verbatim. Conventional content analysis was done for data analysis. Interviews continued until data saturation was obtained. Data were coded in MAXQDA software (version 11). The main category emerged as “outcome” of midwife-mother relationship. Facilitating childbirth, positive experience, mental health promotion and improvement in quality of life were derived as subcategories. Good midwife-mother relationship could promote positive outcome in labour. Results could assist midwives in providing holistic quality care to mothers during labour, thus providing positive consequence in child birth. Also, results could provide a framework and guidance for policymakers to create appropriate context for the midwife-mother relationship in maternity care.

The discussion paper identified factors such as audit firm culture, the quality of people, the effectiveness of audit process, and outside factors such as management and audit committee （AC） which can affect level of audit quality in practice. Reporting upon the analysis of responses to the discussion paper, the objective of this study is to analyze views from the respondents about various issues related to audit quality. This study composes of how subject of audit quality is seen in practice, which contributes to our understanding of conditions, events, or processes that can affect audit quality in practice.
文摘Based on Chinese cultural psychology and multi-disciplinary theoretical system,this study establishes an analytical framework of wealthy people’s charitable donation motives.It takes the donation behavior of 66 philanthropists as the research object to discuss charitable donation motives of wealthy people.Through analyzing the content and text of 172 interviews and donation reports,this study verifies the unique influence of acquaintances’charitable motives in Chinese local culture,moral motives in Confucian culture,benevolent people’s love for others,self-promotion,collectivism and patriotism,and differential love on charitable donations of rich Chinese.This study concluded that the donation motives of wealthy Chinese mainly consist of 10 categories,such as expressing appreciation and gratitude,becoming a super representative of philanthropy cause,pursuit of the meaning and value of life,promoting social justice,inheriting the family wealth and family spirit,taking the social responsibility of Chinese entrepreneurs,driving more people to participate in philanthropy cause,improving the welfare of others,acquiring the exchange interests,and due to peer pressure.This research enriches the connotation of“Chinese philanthropy motivation”and discusses the characteristics of philanthropy motives in Chinese context,which can provide reference for improving the donation incentive policies and charitable organization’s fundraising activities.

文摘Purpose:The research is undertaken to help the Chinese public libraries answer the growing needs for library services to the elderly.Based on an investigation of the current situation of the services to older adults in China and a comparative analysis of the services in the U.S.,we attempt to explore what improvements the Chinese public libraries can make to better serve the needs of older adults.Design/methodology/approach:We empirically analyzed the older adults services of 271public libraries in China from 2002 to 2011 via content analysis of both the print materials such as the regulations and policies released by these libraries and the related information on the libraries' websites and the Internet Web pages.Findings:Great strides have been made in the Chinese public libraries' services to older adults in constructing service systems,providing facilities and equipment,exploring cooperative programming,and planning diversified and regularly scheduled activities.Compared with American counterparts,however,the Chinese public libraries need to catch up in understanding the elderly people as library users,planning customized services,formulating service guidelines and evaluation systems,and working with other local agencies for cooperative programming for seniors in communities.Research limitations:It is hard to collect more data covering more geographical areas and longer periods of time.The content analysis of libraries' policies and regulations is a very rough approximation of the libraries' 'real' services.The study should be extended to visits to public libraries in the future.Practical implications:This study provides useful information for the Chinese library policymakers to formulate regulations and policies to provide services to older adults.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,the comprehensive survey reported in this paper is the first in-depth investigation of the current situation of public library services to older adults in China,providing the analysis framework for more in-depth surveys in the future.

文摘Education sector has witnessed several changes in the recent past.These changes have forced private universities into fierce competition with each other to get more students enrolled.This competition has resulted in the adoption of marketing practices by private universities similar to commercial brands.To get competitive gain,universities must observe and examine the students’feedback on their own social media sites along with the social media sites of their competitors.This study presents a novel framework which integrates numerous analytical approaches including statistical analysis,sentiment analysis,and text mining to accomplish a competitive analysis of social media sites of the universities.These techniques enable local universities to utilize social media for the identification of the most-discussed topics by students as well as based on the most unfavorable comments received,major areas for improvement.A comprehensive case study was conducted utilizing the proposed framework for competitive analysis of few top ranked international universities as well as local private universities in Lahore Pakistan.Experimental results show that diversity of shared content,frequency of posts,and schedule of updates,are the key areas for improvement for the local universities.Based on the competitive intelligence gained several recommendations are included in this paper that would enable local universities generally and Riphah international university(RIU)Lahore specifically to promote their brand and increase their attractiveness for potential students using social media and launch successful marketing campaigns targeting a large number of audiences at significantly reduced cost resulting in an increased number of enrolments.
文摘Content analysis of scientific papers emanating from Antarctic science research during the 25 years period （1980-- 2004） has been carried out using neural network based algorithm-CATPAC. A total of 10 942 research articles published in Science Citation Indexed （SCI） journals were used for the study. Normalized co-word matrix from 35 most-used significant words was used to study the semantic association between the words. Structural Equivalence blocks were constructed from these 35 most-used words. Four-block model solution was found to be optimum. The density table was dichotomized using the mean density of the table to derive the binary matrix, which was used to construct the network map. Network maps represent the thematic character of the blocks. The blocks showed preferred connection in establishing semantic relationship with the blocks, characterizing thematic composition of Antarctic science research. The analysis has provided an analytical framework for carrying out studies on the con- tent of scientific articles. The paper has shown the utility of co-word analysis in highlighting the important areas of research in Antarctic science.
文摘The aim of this exploratory study is to analyze the effectiveness of website communications regarding thermal tourism and to evaluate the website attributes of thermal tourism facilities in Turkey. In order to achieve this aim, seven main categories （contact information, general information, facility information, thermal/medical and wellness services information, surrounding area information, booking and external contracts information, and technical items） and 55 sub-items are identified. Then websites are analyzed with a content analysis method. One hundred and sixty four thermal facilities in Turkey could be listed and accepted as the population. Systematic sampling method was used with a sample size of 33 thermal facilities. After the frequency analysis, results showed that most of the thermal facilities do not have an efficient website management in Turkey. Although official websites are very critical tools for effective marketing communication, thermal facilities are utilizing only a small potential of their websites.
