BACKGROUND Recommendations for psychotherapy have evolved over the years,with cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)taking precedence since its inception within clinical guidelines in the United Kingdom and United States.T...BACKGROUND Recommendations for psychotherapy have evolved over the years,with cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)taking precedence since its inception within clinical guidelines in the United Kingdom and United States.The use of CBT for severe mental illness is now more common globally.AIM To investigate the feasibility and acceptability of a culturally adapted,CBT-based,third-wave therapy manual using the Comprehend,Cope,and Connect approach with individuals from a diverse population presenting to primary and secondary healthcare services.METHODS A pilot study was used to assess the feasibility and acceptability of the manualised intervention.Outcome measures were evaluated at baseline,post-intervention and 12 wk-follow up.32 participants with mental health conditions aged 20-53 years were recruited.Assessments were completed at three time points,using Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation(CORE),Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS),Bradford Somatic Inventory and World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0(WHODAS).The Patient Experience Questionnaire was completed post-treatment.RESULTS Repeated measures of analysis of variance associated with HADS depression,F(2,36)=12.81,P<0.001,partialη^(2)=0.42 and HADS anxiety scores,F(2,26)=9.93,P<0.001,partialη^(2)=0.36;CORE total score and WHODAS both showed significant effect F(1.25,18.72)=14.98,P<0.001,partialη^(2)=0.5.and F(1.29,14.18)=6.73,P<0.001,partialη^(2)=0.38 respectively.CONCLUSION These results indicate the effectiveness and acceptability of the culturally adapted,CBT-based,third-wave therapy manual intervention among minoritized groups with moderate effect sizes.Satisfaction levels and acceptability were highly rated.The viability and cost-effectiveness of this approach should be explored further to support universal implementation across healthcare systems.展开更多

Over the past two decades,non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)has witnessed encouraging advancements in basic and clinical research.However,substantial unmet needs remain for patients worldwide,as drug resistance persist...Over the past two decades,non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)has witnessed encouraging advancements in basic and clinical research.However,substantial unmet needs remain for patients worldwide,as drug resistance persists as an inevitable reality.Meanwhile,the journey towards amplifying the breadth and depth of the therapeutic effect requires comprehending and integrating diverse and profound progress.In this review,therefore,we aim to comprehensively present such progress that spans the various aspects of molecular pathology,encompassing elucidations of metastatic mechanisms,identification of therapeutic targets,and dissection of spatial omics.Additionally,we also highlight the numerous small molecule and antibody drugs,encompassing their application alone or in combination,across later-line,frontline,neoadjuvant or adjuvant settings.Then,we elaborate on drug resistance mechanisms,mainly involving targeted therapies and immunotherapies,revealed by our proposed theoretical models to clarify interactions between cancer cells and a variety of non-malignant cells,as well as almost all the biological regulatory pathways.Finally,we outline mechanistic perspectives to pursue innovative treatments of NSCLC,through leveraging artificial intelligence to incorporate the latest insights into the design of finely-tuned,biomarker-driven combination strategies.This review not only provides an overview of the various strategies of how to reshape available armamentarium,but also illustrates an example of clinical translation of how to develop novel targeted drugs,to revolutionize therapeutic landscape for NSCLC.展开更多

As humans,we can naturally break down a task into individual steps in our daily lives and we are able to provide feedback or dynamically adjust the plan when encountering obstacles.Similarly,our aim is to facilitate a...As humans,we can naturally break down a task into individual steps in our daily lives and we are able to provide feedback or dynamically adjust the plan when encountering obstacles.Similarly,our aim is to facilitate agents in comprehending and carrying out natural language instructions in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.For example,in Vision–Language Navigation(VLN)tasks,the agent needs to understand instructions such as“go to the table by the fridge”.This understanding allows the agent to navigate to the table and infer that the destination is likely to be in the kitchen.The traditional VLN approach mainly involves training models using a large number of labeled datasets for task planning in unseen environments.However,manual labeling incurs a high cost for this approach.Considering that large language models(LLMs)already possess extensive commonsense knowledge during pretraining,some researchers have started using LLMs as decision modules in embodied tasks,although this approach shows the LLMs’reasoning ability to plan a logical sequence of subtasks based on global information.However,executing subtasks often encounters issues,such as obstacles that hinder progress and alterations in the state of the target object.Even one mistake can cause the subsequent tasks to fail,which makes it challenging to complete the instructions through a single plan.Therefore,we propose a new approach—C(Correction)and P(Planning)with M(Memory)I(Integration)—that centered on an LLM for embodied tasks.In more detail,the auxiliary modules of the CPMI facilitate dynamic planning by the LLM-centric planner.These modules provide the agent with memory and generalized experience mechanisms to fully utilize the LLM capabilities,allowing it to improve its performance during execution.Finally,the experimental results on public datasets demonstrate that we achieve the best performance in the few-shot scenario,improving the efficiency of the successive task while increasing the success rate.展开更多
