As a novel educational form deeply integrating digital information technology with teaching and learning, distance open education provides multi-directional empowerment for enhancing village cadres digital literacy. This is achieved through open learning methods, the application of modern digital technologies, tailored learning programs, and the establishment of "overpass bridges" for translating learning outcomes into practice. Based on this, it is essential to further streamline the pathways for educating and cultivating village cadres, vigorously promote the digitalization of teaching, practice, and support services, develop systematic and localized digital education resources, and actively explore and establish a complementary credit bank system for their digital literacy cultivation.展开更多

文摘At present, enhancing the digital literacy of village cadres faces practical constraints such as governance capability gaps induced by the second-level digital divide, the absence of a systematic cultivation system, incomplete last-kilometer implementation for translating skills into practice, and inadequate incentive mechanisms. Based on this, it is essential to further streamline the pathways for educating and cultivating village cadres, vigorously promote the digitalization of teaching, practice, and support services, develop systematic and localized digital education resources, and actively explore and establish a complementary credit bank system for their digital literacy cultivation.
文摘BACKGROUND Orthopaedic surgical education has traditionally depended on the apprenticeship model of“see one,do one, teach one”.However, reduced operative exposure, stricter work-hour regulations, medicolegal constraints, and patient safety concerns have constrained its practicality.Simulation-based training has become a reliable, safe, and cost-efficient alternative.Dry lab techniques, especially virtual and augmented reality, make up 78%of current dry lab research, whereas wet labs still set the standard for anatomical realism.AIM To evaluate the effectiveness, limitations, and future directions of wet and dry lab simulation in orthopaedic training.METHODS A scoping review was carried out across four databases-PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science, and EBSCOhost-up to 2025.Medical Subject Headings included:"Orthopaedic Education","Wet Lab","Dry Lab","Simulation Training","Virtual Reality",and"Surgical Procedure".Eligible studies focused on orthopaedic or spinal surgical education, employed wet or dry lab techniques, and assessed training effectiveness.Exclusion criteria consisted of non-English publications, abstracts only,non-orthopaedic research, and studies unrelated to simulation. Two reviewers independently screened titles, abstracts, and full texts, resolving discrepancies with a third reviewer.RESULTS From 1851 records,101 studies met inclusion:78 on dry labs,7 on wet labs,4 on both.Virtual reality(VR)simulations were most common, with AI increasingly used for feedback and assessment.Cadaveric training remains the gold standard for accuracy and tactile feedback, while dry labs-especially VR-offer scalability, lower cost(40%-60%savings in five studies),and accessibility for novices.Senior residents prefer wet labs for complex tasks;juniors favour dry labs for basics.Challenges include limited transferability data, lack of standard outcome metrics, and ethical concerns about cadaver use and AI assessment.CONCLUSION Wet and dry labs each have unique strengths in orthopaedic training.A hybrid approach combining both, supported by standardised assessments and outcome studies,is most effective.Future efforts should aim for uniform reporting, integrating new technologies, and policy support for hybrid curricula to enhance skills and patient care.
文摘In the era of intelligent media, the interaction between teachers and students in higher education is undergoing a profound transformation. The model has shifted from one-way transmission to multi-agent,two-way collaboration involving“teacher-student-AI(artificial intelligence)”.Interaction depth moves from surface Q&A to deep thought engagement, supported by instant, precise feedback and a blended virtual-physical space.New forms such as data-driven personalized interaction and immersive collaborative learning have emerged. However, this evolution brings significant challenges:over-reliance on technology may weaken cognitive autonomy;virtual interaction risks emotional detachment and trust erosion;ethical concerns like algorithmic bias and data privacy arise;teachers’roles become blurred;and evaluation systems lag behind technological advances.Future pathways should position AI as a supportive tool while upholding human centrality.Strengthening emotional connection through online-offline blending, reforming assessment to value process and growth, and empowering teachers as digitally literate“learning guides”and“emotional connectors”are key to building a healthy, sustainable interactive ecosystem.
文摘Objective:This review aimed to evaluate existing evidence of educational interventions targeted at parents and caregivers of children with type 1 diabetes(T1D)to improve diabetes management outcomes. Methods:A general review was conducted with primary caregivers of children younger than 18 with T1D as the population of interest.Journal searches were performed using the CINAHL,EBSCO,Pub Med,Scopus,Science Direct, and Google Scholar, databases for publications between 2017 and 2024,with full text in English. Results:A total of 26 studies were included in the review.Nine of these studies focused on various educational interventions, both technology-based and non-technology-based.By contrast,17 studies examined the impact of these interventions on caregiver outcomes, such as treatment adherence and glycemic control in children with T1D.So,the following research questions guided this review:(1)What is the effectiveness of diabetes education interventions on glycemic control in children with T1D?(2)How do caregiver knowledge and self-efficacy affect diabetes management outcomes? Conclusions:Diabetes interventions highlight the vital role of empowering caregivers of children with T1D with knowledge, skills, and support to improve and enhance their adherence to treatment, knowledge, and self-efficacy that ultimately contribute to better glycemic control of children as reflected by their Hb A1c levels. This review highlights the importance of diabetes education interventions for caregivers of children with T1D.The evidence indicates that such interventions can improve caregiver knowledge,self-efficacy,and glycemic control in children. However, variability in outcomes suggests that fur ther research is needed to identify the most effective educational strategies.
文摘The purpose of this study is to gain perspectives on introducing IBCTL(International Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning)into graduate school of teacher education in Japan, which are currently providing advanced teacher training programs aimed at cultivating student agency,a comprehensive set of skills necessary for children living in the future,as advocated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development(OECD)Education 2030 Project. To achieve this goal,I examined the curriculum and structure that are important for IB teacher training and the introduction of IBCTL.I attempted to achieve this goal by examining the curriculum being developed at a graduate school of teacher education attempting to implement IBCTL and the creation of a syllabus based on that curriculum through lesson planning. As a result,I examined the curriculum and structure as a perspective for introducing IBCTL into graduate school of teacher education in Japan, where advanced teacher training is required.I found that a core curriculum and structure that incorporates the core of the IBCTL into the core of graduate school of teacher education programs is important for implementing an IB education that is aligned with the advancement of teacher training and the development of student agency.
文摘The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has transformed educational practices, yet its integration with experiential pedagogies such as drama remains underexplored in English Language Teaching(ELT),particularly in pre-service teacher education. This study examines how AI-supported drama pedagogy contributes to the professional development of pre-service English teachers, focusing on reflective practice, pedagogical adaptability, creativity, intercultural awareness, and sustainability-oriented teaching perspectives.Grounded in sociocultural theory, experiential learning, and Education for Sustainable Development(ESD),the research adopts an interpretive qualitative case study design conducted over a 12-week elective course titled“Drama in ELT”at a foundation university in Istanbul,Türkiye.Participants included 40 second-year pre-service teachers, with 15 volunteers taking part in semi-structured focus group interviews.Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires and focus groups and analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis.Four interrelated themes emerged:creativity and pedagogical innovation, intercultural awareness and empathy,problem-solving and adaptability, and reflective professional growth with ethical awareness.Findings suggest that AI acted as a mediational scaffold that enriched drama-based learning while preserving human agency. The study concludes that integrating AI with drama offers a meaningful model for sustainable teacher education aligned with SDG 4(Quality Education)and SDG 9(Industry,Innovation and Infrastructure).
文摘Objective:This research examines the socio-educational and acculturation experiences of Filipino nurse-migrants within the context of international healthcare systems. It seeks to understand the multifaceted emotional and professional system-related difficulties they face and how these impact their adaptation strategies and integration processes elsewhere. Methods:A qualitative phenomenological strategy,as described by Colaizzi's 7-step analysis method, was employed.A purposeful sample of 10 Filipino nurses deployed to Saudi Arabia,Oman, the United States,Finland,Australia,Ireland,Norway, and Germany was chosen.Par ticipants took part in video conferencing structured interviews, which were conducted remotely.Manually and using NVivo(Version 15,Lumivero,2024),thematic analysis was conducted to identify impor tant themes from the par ticipants'stories. Results:Seven major themes emerged:(1)emotional and cultural dimensions of guilt, isolation, and professional identity negotiation;(2)language and communication barriers, which comprise code-switching and cultural deference challenges;(3)systematic barriers such as credential recognition, licensing examinations, and bureaucratic obstacles;(4)gaps in clinical practice standards, patient care ethics, and discrepancy;(5)family and finances as motivation and resilience;(6)bridging programs and adaptation to student-centered learning as educational transitions;and(7)cultural adaptation depicts discrimination, the workplace hierarchical order, discerning and pragmatically fluent challenges.Despite systemic inequities, participants demonstrated remarkable adaptability, which was visibly rooted in Filipino cultural values such as pakikisama, utang na loob, and bayanihan. Conclusions:The migration experience of Filipino nurses is associated with profound and emotional changes on professional and cultural levels. While these individuals adapt remarkably well due to their multifaceted resilience, they face unforgiving barriers, including credentialing, cultural, and systemic issues.Policies that foster intercultural understanding alongside psychosocial suppor t and fair recognition of foreign credentials would enhance the positive impact of migrant nurses on international healthcare. These considerations will enhance the integration experience for migrant nurses and have a positive impact on patient care worldwide.
