Based on the Organizational Project Manage- organizational project portfolio management are identified through the questionnaire survey and further analysis, and five capability levels are put forward and described. Then the methods of Delphi, AHP and multi-layer fuzzy comprehensive evaluation are applied to construct a mod- el of assessment and promotion. Introduction:Nurse specialists are being cultivated and trained in China to cope with the international development of nursing discipline.However,an empirical summary and reviews of literature have shown a lack of cor...Introduction:Nurse specialists are being cultivated and trained in China to cope with the international development of nursing discipline.However,an empirical summary and reviews of literature have shown a lack of core competence evaluation standards for emergency nurse specialists(ENSs)in China.ENS training has been conducted in several regions without any effective competence evaluation standards.This paper describes the development and psychometric testing of the Core Competence Evaluation Standards for Emergency Nurse Specialists(CCESENS)in the Chinese context.Methods:Several rigorous research methods were applied.The proposed evaluation process consisted of two phases with seven steps.First,the Core Competence Framework Model for Emergency Nurse Specialist(CCFMENS)was established,and 118 items were generated through a review of literature,theoretical analysis,and expert interviews.Drafts of the dimensions and items were evaluated by two-round Delphi methods.Analysis hierarchy process was used to determine the weight of each dimension.Second,field testing was performed among 138 senior emergency nurses.Internal consistency and correlation analysis were applied to test the reliability and validity of the model.Results:The CCESENS consisted of five first-level dimensions,16 second-level dimensions,and 55 items.Cronbach's a coefficient of overall standards was 0.972,and each dimension ranged from 0.508 to 0.972.Expert content validity index was 0.818,and the correlation coefficients of the five first-level dimensions with the overall standards CCESENS ranged from 0.701 to 0.886(P<0.05).Discussion:The CCESENS demonstrated sound internal consistency reliability,content validity,and construct validity.The proposed standard provides an objective standard and reference for assessing,training,and evaluating core competence of ENS.展开更多

This study addresses the limitations of traditional disaster medicine course assessments,including single evaluation formats,delayed feedback mechanisms,and gaps in competency mapping,by developing a diversified asses...This study addresses the limitations of traditional disaster medicine course assessments,including single evaluation formats,delayed feedback mechanisms,and gaps in competency mapping,by developing a diversified assessment system leveraging the Rain Classroom platform.The system incorporates six interconnected evaluation components across the learning cycle:pre-class preparation,pre-class tests,case discussions,skills assessment,post-class tests,and post-class feedback,collectively forming a three-dimensional“cognitive-skill-attitude”assessment framework.In the assessment design,the weighting of practical skill evaluation is elevated to 40%to prioritize the development of students’disaster response competencies.Additionally,an innovative multi-subject evaluation model(“self-peer-teacher”)is implemented within disaster scenario simulations,utilizing standardized scoring rubrics.This methodology not only enables comprehensive performance evaluation but also fosters critical teamwork and reflective practice.Implementation outcomes demonstrated that the system effectively evaluates learning progress through multi-modal assessments,enhances disaster rescue knowledge and skill proficiency,and successfully achieves predefined pedagogical objectives.展开更多
The aim of this study was to evaluate the attitudes of faculty and graduates of college of nursing towards Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) as a valid and reliable method of clinical competency assessm...The aim of this study was to evaluate the attitudes of faculty and graduates of college of nursing towards Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) as a valid and reliable method of clinical competency assessment in nursing ten years after its inception. Core nursing courses are based on instructional teaching methods and “hands-on” approach to impact cognitive, psychomotor skills and clinical judgments. Different clinical competency assessment methods are used globally;however, most of them are subjective. A descriptive survey using 16-item five-point likert scale questionnaire was conducted. The study sample consisted of 140 participants: 20 faculty members, 27 graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree and 93 graduates of the Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) programs with OSCE experience during their training. Data collection was carried out between October and November 2015. Eighty percent of faculty members, 74% of BSN and 62.3% of ADN graduates agreed that OSCE represented an objective evaluation method for psychomotor skills. Majority of the graduates perceived their OSCE experience positively although stressful. However, they have suggested the introduction of trial/mock OSCE prior to each exam to minimize the stress associated with it. In conclusion, there appears to be no single “gold-standard” assessment tool for clinical competency. OSCE assesses student nurses’ psychomotor skills in a non-clinical environment, therefore without risks to real patients. In combination with other assessment methods in the clinical settings, OSCE will provide a more comprehensive student psychomotor skill evaluation. OSCE experiences gave new nursing graduates confidence to work as registered nurses in health care settings.展开更多
