A matching between Munsell color chips and CRT charts was obtained in vision perceiver in typical office environment and viewing condition by recommending. And neural networks were utilized to accomplish the color space conversion from CIE standard color space to CRT device color space. The neural networks related the color space conversion and color reproduction of soft/hard-copy directly to the influence of the illuminance and viewing condition in vision perceiver. The average color difference of training samples is 3.06 and that of testing samples is 5.17. The experiment results indicated that the neural networks can satisfy the requirements for the color appearance of hard-copy reproduction in CRT.展开更多
To facilitate the product design of hybrid multifilament fabric prior to spinning,a color prediction model was proposed.The monofilaments in the multifilament were assumed to have a square cross-section and stacked ve...To facilitate the product design of hybrid multifilament fabric prior to spinning,a color prediction model was proposed.The monofilaments in the multifilament were assumed to have a square cross-section and stacked vertically.The prediction model considered the refectance,transmittance and arrangement of the monofilaments in the fabric.To test the reflectance and transmittance of the monoflament with the Datacolor spectrophotometer,films with the same material and thickness as the monofilaments were made.Twenty kinds of multifilaments with different blending ratios and fineness were produced and woven into fabrics.The color difference between the fabric color tested by the spectrophotometer and predicted by the new model and classical Kubelka-Munk(K-M)theory was calculated and compared.The result shows that the average color difference obtained by the new model was 1.02 Color Measurement Committee(CMC)(2:1)units,which was less than that of 1.78 CMC(2:1)units obtained by the K-M theory.Through Spearman correlation analysis,the fabric lightness and the multifilament fineness had a significant infuence on calculated color difference,and the color difference decreased with increases of them.Finally,the surface color of a fabric was reproduced,indicating the model can be used to characterize the phenomenon of uneven color mixing on the fabric surface.展开更多

Then, a four color matching method combining neural network with genetic algorithm is proposed. The initial weights and thresholds of the BP neural network for RGB to CMY color conversion are optimized by the new genetic algorithm based on evolutionarily stable strategy. The fourth component K is generated by using GCR (Gray Component Replacement) concept. Simulation experiments show that it is well behaved in both accuracy and generalization performance.展开更多

However, due to its subjective, qualitative and experience-dependent nature, the studies on tongue characterization have been widely emphasized. This paper surveys recent progresses in analysis of tongue manifestation. These new developments include the cross-network and cross-media color reproduction of tongue image, the automatic segmentation of tongue body based on knowledge, the automatic analysis of curdiness and griminess for the tongue fur and the automatic analysis of plumpness, wryness and dot -thorn of tongue body. The clinic experiments verify the validity of these new methods.展开更多
