With a three-dimensional semiclassical ensemble method, we theoretically investigated the nonsequential double ionization of Ar driven by the spatially inhomogeneous few-cycle negatively chirped laser pulses. Our results show that the recollision time window can be precisely controlled within an isolated time interval of several hundred attoseconds, which is useful for understanding the subcycle correlated electron dynamics. More interestingly, the correlated electron momentum distribution (CEMD) exhibits a strong dependence on laser intensity. That is, at lower laser intensity, CEMD is located in the first quadrant. As the laser intensity increases,CEMD shifts almost completely to the second and fourth quadrants, and then gradually to the third quadrant.The underlying physics governing the CEMD's dependence on laser intensity is explained. 展开更多

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of functional amenorrhea by establishing artificial cycle.Method One hundred and twelve eligible patients with functional amenorrhea were divided into an acupuncture-moxibustion group(64 cases) and a western medication group(48 cases) by adopting random method.According to the pattern differentiation of amenorrhea of traditional Chinese medicine,the patients in the acupuncture-moxibustion group were classified into two types:amenorrhea due to blood depletion and amenorrhea due to stagnation of blood.For patients with amenorrhea due to blood depletion,Guanyuan(关元 CV4),Zhongji(中极CV 3),GuiTlai(归来ST 29),Geshu(膈俞 BL 17),Ganshu(肝俞BL 18),Pishu(脾俞 BL 20) and Shenshu(肾俞 BL 23) were selected.At first,BL 17,BL 18,BL 20 and BL 23 were needled;after deqi,reinforcing method was applied,and the needles were not retained.Then,warmingneedle moxibustion was applied at CV 4,CV 3 and ST 29,and the needles were retained for 30 min.For patients with amenorrhea due to stagnation of blood,CV 3,Qihai(气海CV 6),Xuehai(血海 SP 10),Sanyinjiao(三阴交 SP 6)and Xingjian(行间 LR 2) were selected,reducing method was applied,and the needles were retained for 30 min.The treatment was performed once a day,and treatment for 15 consecutive days were the 1st cycle.The 2nd and3 rd cycles started from the 5th day of menstruation(for the patients still not menstruating,the 2nd and 3rd cycles started from the 29 th and 57 th days since the 1st day of treatment),and the treatment lasted for 15 days.Three cycles were needed.In the western medicine group,estrogen-progestogen was taken orally for 21 days(one cycle) to establish a artificial cycle.The levels of FSH and LH were tested and compared on the 3rd day of menstruation before treatment and after the 3rd cycle of treatment,and the adverse effects were analyzed statistically.Follow-up visit was conducted for the patients after treatment for three cycles,and the recurrence rate was calculated.Result The levels of FSH and LH of patients with functional amenorrhea were enhanced significantly through establishing artificial cycle by acupuncture and moxibustion.There was no significant difference between the acupuncture-moxibustion group and the western medication group in effective rate(P〉0.05);but the adverse effect rate(1.49%) and recurrence rate(25.0%) of the acupuncture-moxibustion group were lower than that of the western medication group(with the adverse effect rate of 4.14%,and recurrence rate of 69.8%)(both P〈0.05).Conclusion The levels of FSH and LH of patients with functional amenorrhea can be enhanced significantly through establishing artificial cycle by acupuncture and moxibustion.The efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of functional amenorrhea by establishing artificial cycle is equivalent to that of oral administration of estrogen-progestogen in treatment of functional amenorrhea by establishing artificial cycle,but the adverse effect rate and recurrence rate of acupuncture and moxibustion group are lower. 展开更多

This paper applies washout filter technology to amplitude control of limit cycles emerging from Hopf bifurcation of the van der Pol-Duffing system. The controlling parameters for the appearance of Hopf bifurcation are given by the Routh-Hurwitz criteria. Noticeably, numerical simulation indicates that the controllers control the amplitude of limit cycles not only of the weakly nonlinear van der Pol-Duffing system but also of the strongly nonlinear van der Pol-Duffing system. In particular, the emergence of Hopf bifurcation can be controlled by a suitable choice of controlling parameters. Gain-amplitude curves of controlled systems are also drawn. 展开更多

The genomes of eukaryotic cells are under continuous assault by environmental agents and endogenous metabolic byproducts. Damage induced in DNA usually leads to a cascade of cellular events, the DNA damage response. Failure of the DNA damage response can lead to development of malignancy by reducing the efficiency and fidelity of DNA repair. The NBS1 protein is a component of the MRE11/RAD50/NBS 1 complex (MRN) that plays a critical role in the cellular response to DNA damage and the maintenance of chromosomal integrity. Mutations in the NBS1 gene are responsible for Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), a hereditary disorder that imparts an increased predisposition to development of malignancy. The phenotypic characteristics of cells isolated from NBS patients point to a deficiency in the repair of DNA double strand breaks. Here, we review the current knowledge of the role of NBS1 in the DNA damage response. Emphasis is placed on the role of NBS1 in the DNA double strand repair, modulation of the DNA damage sensing and signaling, cell cycle checkpoint control and maintenance oftelomere stability. 展开更多

Studies show that different geometries of a Variable Cycle Engine(VCE)can be adjusted during the transient stage of the engine operation to improve the engine performance.However,this improvement increases the complexity of the acceleration and deceleration control schedule.In order to resolve this problem,the Transient-state Reverse Method(TRM)is established in the present study based on the Steady-state Reverse Method(SRM)and the Virtual Power Extraction Method(VPEM).The state factors in the component-based engine performance models are replaced by variable geometry parameters to establish the TRM for a double bypass VCE.Obtained results are compared with the conventional component-based model from different aspects,including the accuracy and the convergence rate.The TRM is then employed to optimize the control schedule of a VCE.Obtained results show that the accuracy and the convergence rate of the proposed method are consistent with that of the conventional model.On the other hand,it is found that the new-model-optimized control schedules reduce the acceleration and deceleration time by 45%and 54%,respectively.Meanwhile,the surge margin of compressors,fuel–air ratio and the turbine inlet temperature maintained are within the acceptable criteria.It is concluded that the proposed TRM is a powerful method to design the acceleration and deceleration control schedule of the VCE. 展开更多

The alternative working modes and flexible working states are the outstanding features of an adaptive cycle engine, with a proper control schedule design being the only way to exploit the performance of such an engine. However, unreasonable design in the control schedule causes not only performance deterioration but also serious aerodynamic stability problems. Thus, in this work,a hybrid optimization method that automatically chooses the working modes and identifies the optimal and smooth control schedules is proposed, by combining the differential evolution algorithm and the Latin hypercube sampling method. The control schedule architecture does not only optimize the engine steady-state performance under different working modes but also solves the control-schedule discontinuity problem, especially during mode transition. The optimal control schedules are continuous and almost monotonic, and hence are strongly suitable for a control system, and are designed for two different working conditions, i.e., supersonic and subsonic throttling,which proves that the proposed hybrid method applies to various working conditions. The evaluation demonstrates that the proposed control method optimizes the engine performance, the surge margin of the compression components, and the range of the thrust during throttling. 展开更多

Duty-cycle modulation alternately blowing from two opposite-facing plasma actu- ators on the leeward surface near the apex of a cone with a 10° semi-apex angle is adopted to control mean lateral force and moment, and the flow control mechanisms are presented. Pressure distributions over the forebody of the cone are measured by steady pressure tappings. The experiments are performed in a 3.0×1.6 m open-circuit wind tunnel at a wind speed of 20 m/s, a 45° angle of attack and a Reynolds number of 2×10^5, based on the diameter of the base of the cone. Almost linearly proportional control of the lateral forces and moments over a slender conical forebody at a high angle of attack has been demonstrated by employing a pair of single dielectric barrier discharge plasma actuators near the apex of the cone, combined with a duty-cycle tech- nique. The pressure distribution measurements indicate that the hi-stable vortex pattern appears to be shifted in the opposite direction when the port or starboard actuator is activated, while the other is kept off during the test. It is shown that the reduced pulse-repetition frequency based on the local diameter at the plasma actuator equal to one yields the highest effectiveness among the cases considered. 展开更多

This paper explores and proposes a design solution of an integrated skip cycle mode (SCM) control circuit with a simple structure. The design is simulated and implemented with XD10H-1.0μm modular DIMOS 650 V process. In order to meet the requirement of a wide temperature range and high yields of products, the schematic extracted from the layout is simulated with five process corners at 27℃ and 90℃. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed integrated circuit is immune to noise and achieves skipping cycle control when switching mode power supply (SMPS) works with low load or without load. 展开更多

Abstract--Vapor compression refrigeration cycle (VCC) system is a high dimensional coupling thermodynamic system for which the controller design is a great challenge. In this paper, a model predictive control based energy efficient control strategy which aims at maximizing the system efficiency is proposed. Firstly, according to the mass and energy conservation law, an analysis on the nonlinear relationship between superheat and cooling load is carried out, which can produce the maximal effect on the system performance. Then a model predictive control (MPC) based controller is developed for tracking the calculated setting curve of superheat degree and pressure difference based on model identified from data which can be obtained from an experimental rig. The proposed control strategy maximizes the coefficient of performance (COP) which depends on operating conditions, in the meantime, it meets the changing demands of cooling capacity. The effectiveness of the control performance is validated on the experimental rig. To study the change mechanism and the control of the variable cycle engine in the process of modal transition,a variable cycle engine model based on component level characteristics is established.The two-dimensional CFD technology is used to simulate the influence of mode selection valve rotation on the engine flow field,which improves the accuracy of the model.Furthermore,the constant flow control plan is proposed in the modal transition process to reduce the engine installed drag.The constant flow control plan adopts the augmentation linear quadratic regulator control method.Simulation results indicate that the control method is able to effectively control the bypass ratio and demand flow of the variable cycle engine,and make the engine transform smoothly,which ensures the stable operation of the engine in modal transition and the constant demand flow of the engine. 展开更多

Firstly, those system variables are analyzed which exert significant influences on the system performance. Then the structure selection criterion, a trade-off between computation complexity and model performance, is applied to different model structures, and the results are utilized to determine the optimized model structure for controller design. The controller based on multivariable model predictive control (MPC) strategy is designed, and the optimization problem for the reduced order models is formulated as a constrained minimization problem. Six driving cycles were selected to represent different traffic conditions e.g. freeway, urban, suburb. A neural algorithm was used for traffic condition recognition based on ten parameters of each driving cycle. The DCR was utilized for optimization of the HEV control parameters using a genetic-fuzzy approach. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) was designed to be intelligent to manage the engine to work in the vicinity of its optimal condition. The fuzzy membership function parameters were optimized using the genetic algorithm (GA) for each driving cycle. The result is that the DCR_ fuzzy controller can reduce the fuel consumption by 1. 9%, higher than only CYC _ HWFET optimized fuzzy (0.2%) or CYC _ WVUSUB optimized fuzzy (0.7%). The DCR_ fuzzy method can get the better result than only optimizing one cycle on the complex real traffic conditions. 展开更多

This paper proposes a separated trajectory tracking controller for fishing ships at sea state level 6 to solve the trajectory tracking problem of a fishing ship in a 6-level sea state,and to adapt to different working environments and safety requirements.The nonlinear feedback method is used to improve the closed-loop gain shaping algorithm.By introducing the sine function,the problem of excessive control energy of the system can be effectively solved.Moreover,an integral separation design is used to solve the influence of the integral term in conventional PID controllers on the transient performance of the system.In this paper,a common 32.98 m large fiberglass reinforced plastic(FRP)trawler is adopted for simulation research at the winds scale of Beaufort No.7.The results show that the track error is smaller than 3.5 m.The method is safe,feasible,concise and effective and has popularization value in the direction of fishing ship trajectory tracking control.This method can be used to improve the level of informatization and intelligence of fishing ships. 展开更多

Rotary steering systems(RSSs)have been increasingly used to develop horizontal wells.A static push-the-bit RSS uses three hydraulic modules with varying degrees of expansion and contraction to achieve changes in the pushing force acting on the wellbore in different sizes and directions within a circular range,ultimately allowing the wellbore trajectory to be drilled in a predetermined direction.By analyzing its mathematical principles and the actual characteristics of the instrument,a vector force closed-loop control method,including steering and holding modes,was designed.The adjustment criteria for the three hydraulic modules are determined to achieve rapid adjustment of the vector force.The theoretical feasibility of the developed method was verified by comparing its results with the on-site application data of an imported rotary guidance system. 展开更多

Based on the control theory,the model of ORC evaporator is set up. The BP algorithm is used to control the Kp,Kiand Kdparameters of the evaporator PID controller,so that the evaporator temperature can reach the optimal state quickly and steadily. The M ATLAB softw are is used to simulate the traditional PID controller and the BP neural netw ork PID controller. The experimental results show that the Kp,Kiand Kdparameters of the BP neural netw ork PID controller are 0. 5677,0. 2970,and 0. 1353,respectively.Therefore,the evaporator PID controller based on BP neural netw ork optimization not only satisfies the requirements of the system performance,but also has better control parameters than the traditional PID controller. 展开更多

Unsteady dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) plasma aerodynamic actuation technology is employed to suppress airfoil stall separation and the technical parameters are explored with wind tunnel experiments on an NACA0015 airfoil by measuring the surface pressure distribution of the airfoil.The performance of the DBD aerodynamic actuation for airfoil stall separation suppression is evaluated under DBD voltages from 2000 V to 4000 V and the duty cycles varied in the range of 0.1 to 1.0.It is found that higher lift coefficients and lower threshold voltages are achieved under the unsteady DBD aerodynamic actuation with the duty cycles less than 0.5as compared to that of the steady plasma actuation at the same free-stream speeds and attack angles,indicating a better flow control performance.By comparing the lift coefficients and the threshold voltages,an optimum duty cycle is determined as 0.25 by which the maximum lift coefficient and the minimum threshold voltage are obtained at the same free-stream speed and attack angle.The non-uniform DBD discharge with stronger discharge in the positive half cycle due to electrons deposition on the dielectric slabs and the suppression of opposite momentum transfer due to the intermittent discharge with cutoff of the negative half cycle are responsible for the observed optimum duty cycle. 展开更多

To design the optimum acceleration control schedule for the Adaptive Cycle Engine(ACE)in the full flight envelope,this paper establishes a direct simulation model of the ACE transient state.In this model,geometric parameters are used to replace the component state parameters.The corresponding relationship between geometric parameters and component state parameters is determined by sensitivity analysis.The geometric variables are controlled when the geometric adjustment speed exceeds the limit,and at the same time the corresponding component state parameters are iterated.The gradient optimization algorism is used to optimize the ground acceleration process of ACE,and the control schedule in terms of operating point of compression components and corrected acceleration rate is used as the full-envelope acceleration control schedule based on the similarity principle.The acceleration control schedules of the triple-bypass mode and the double-bypass mode are designed in this paper.The acceleration processes under various flight conditions are simulated using the acceleration control schedules.Compared with the acceleration process with the linear geometric adjustment schedule,the acceleration performance of ACE is improved by the acceleration control schedule,with the impulse of the acceleration process of the triple-bypass mode being increased by 8.7%-12.3% and the impulse of the double-bypass mode acceleration process being increased by 11.8%-14.1%. 展开更多
