Aesthetics and Civilizing Education:A Perspective of Practical Phenomenology

Within the horizon of the history of ideas,the relationship between aesthetics and civilizing education has always been a core issue in the evolution of human civilization.Traditional aesthetics regards the aesthetic as“pure sensory pleasure”or“the manifestation of abstract ideas”,while simplifying civilizing education to“the transmission of knowledge”or“moral discipline”,splitting them into a dual opposition between“sensory experience”and“rational cultivation”.Based on practical phenomenology as a methodological foundation,this paper attempts to reveal the ontological connection between aesthetics and civilizing education through etymological research and classical text analysis.It argues that properly understood and defined,the aesthetic is essentially the authentic psychosomatic integration of a real subject endowed with free will with the world in free and conscious objective activities.The core of civilizing education,on the other hand,is the historical generation of a holistic way of human life.The two are unified in the process of“the manifestation of meaning in bodily practice”.The core and purpose of the interpretive logic of practical phenomenology is to emphasize the principle of“returning to practice itself”,and in the three dimensions of“the corporeality of aesthetic experience”,“the situationality of the educational process”,and“the practicality of civilizational evolution”,to reactivate the authentic value of the aesthetic for civilizing education.Aesthetics is not the“ornament”of civilizing education,but its“ontological foundation”.The ultimate goal of civilizing education is“the realization of the free and comprehensive development of human beings through aesthetic practice”. 展开更多

Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)plays a critical role in ensuring the safety,integrity,longevity and economic efficiency of civil infrastructures.The field has undergone a profound transformation over the last few decades,evolving from traditional methods—often reliant on visual inspections—to data-driven intelligent systems.This review paper analyzes this historical trajectory,beginning with the approaches that relied on modal parameters as primary damage indicators.The advent of advanced sensor technologies and increased computational power brings a significant change,making Machine Learning(ML)a viable and powerful tool for damage assessment.More recently,Deep Learning(DL)has emerged as a paradigm shift,allowing for more automated processing of large data sets(such as the structural vibration signals and other types of sensors)with excellent performance and accuracy,often surpassing previous methods.This paper systematically reviews these technological milestones—from traditional vibration-based methods to the current state-of-the-art in deep learning.Finally,it critically examines emerging trends—such as Digital Twins and Transformer-based architectures—and discusses future research directions that will shape the next generation of SHM systems for civil engineering. 展开更多

Historical evolution of Chinese civilization in the context of natural environmental change

Chinese civilization has continuously developed and formed on the foundation of China’s unique natural environment.Its formation process and cultural characteristics are intimately and intricately linked to the historical evolution of the natural environment,including changes in climate,hydrological systems,and land use.Currently,academic scholarship on the historical evolution of Chinese civilization is predominantly based on the findings of the humanities;the influence of natural environmental change has not been systematically and scientifically considered in unveiling the formation and development of the civilization.Adopting a perspective of deep interdisciplinary integration between the natural sciences and humanities,this study synthesizes existing research on the historical changes in natural geographical elements,such as the climate and environment,since the Holocene.It systematically reviews evidence from disciplines such as archaeology and historical geography,comprehensively analyzes the natural environmental factors within the spatiotemporal process of the formation of Chinese civilization,and reveals the significance of the human-environment relationship in shaping its evolution.Based on this systematic review,the study presents three main scientific findings:(1)The uniqueness of China’s geographical environment laid the foundation for the endogenous nature and the fundamental pattern of“unity in diversity”of Chinese civilization.(2)Climate change facilitated the early origins of Chinese civilization and subsequently drove ethnic exchange and integration throughout its historical development.(3)Throughout historical periods,the primary strategy of the human-environment relationship was human adaptation;yet,the influence of human agency on the natural world progressively increased.In conclusion,there is an urgent need to conduct systematic and scientific research on Chinese civilization from the perspective of the human-environment relationship.Through in-depth interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration between the fields of geography,climatology,history,and archaeology,we can deepen our understanding of the historical development of Chinese civilization and provide historical lessons and insights for addressing contemporary environmental challenges. 展开更多

以广东中开高速项目为背景,针对独柱大悬臂盖梁施工中面临的结构自重大、作业空间受限及地下管线复杂等技术难点,设计了一套“少支架”支撑体系。通过系统整合条形基础、钢管柱、普通321型贝雷梁、定型钢支架,构建了模块化、装配式的支... 以广东中开高速项目为背景,针对独柱大悬臂盖梁施工中面临的结构自重大、作业空间受限及地下管线复杂等技术难点,设计了一套“少支架”支撑体系。通过系统整合条形基础、钢管柱、普通321型贝雷梁、定型钢支架,构建了模块化、装配式的支撑系统。采用Midas Civil建立了精细化有限元模型,在考虑材料非线性与接触边界条件下对施工全过程进行仿真分析。结果表明,少支架式系统(条形基础+钢管柱+普通321型贝雷梁+工字钢+定型钢支架)可有效解决高支模、大体积混凝土盖梁施工难题,具有广泛的适用性。在保障安全的同时,该方案显著提升了施工效率,降低了综合成本。该技术方案为同类复杂城市环境下的桥梁工程提供了经济、安全、可靠且高效的解决方案。 展开更多

BIM模型不支持有限元计算,且BIM模型与有限元分析模型数据交互困难,故BIM技术正向设计过程中存在建模效率低、模型修改困难等问题,无法做到BIM结构设计与有限元力学分析一体化,增加了结构模型建模与纠错成本.本文依托Revit和Midas/Civil软件平台,在Dynamo环境下采用IronPython语言设计了一套Revit-Midas/Civil的模型信息转换程序.以博士大桥主桥为对象,通过程序自动实现:1)Revit模型桥梁构件分解、截面特性计算、拉索及梁塔弹性连接处理,并转换成适用于Midas/Civil的语言格式MCT文件,实现了Revit向Midas/Civil模型信息自动转换;2)将有限元计算结果反馈到Revit模型中,对作用效应信息按数值大小赋予渐变颜色,实现了在BIM模型中显示有限元分析结果的展示功能.本文程序可实现Revit-Midas/Civil模型信息转换,有效提高了BIM正向应用效率,弥补了BIM技术在桥梁结构分析方面的不足. 展开更多

以岩滩桥至上坪道路工程6号桥为研究对象,针对其现浇箱梁施工中的支架系统进行详细计算与验算。该桥采用组合式支架体系(钢管立柱+贝雷梁+盘扣支架),通过Midas Civil软件建立有限元模型,对横向分配梁(16号工字钢)、贝雷梁及钢管立柱的... 以岩滩桥至上坪道路工程6号桥为研究对象,针对其现浇箱梁施工中的支架系统进行详细计算与验算。该桥采用组合式支架体系(钢管立柱+贝雷梁+盘扣支架),通过Midas Civil软件建立有限元模型,对横向分配梁(16号工字钢)、贝雷梁及钢管立柱的应力、变形及稳定性进行系统分析。结果表明:横向分配梁最大组合应力60.8 MPa(<215 MPa),贝雷梁经加固后最大应力217.3 MPa(<305 MPa),钢管立柱稳定性验算值为124.57 N/mm^(2)(<215 N/mm^(2)),均满足规范要求。此外,整体结构一阶稳定系数为7.122(>4),验证了支架设计的可靠性。 展开更多
