Association between Mental Health Literacy and Workplace Well-Being of Chinese Grassroots Civil Servants:The Chain Mediating Effects of Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy and Resilience

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between mental health literacy(MHL)and workplace well-being(WWB)of Chinese grassroots civil servants,with regulatory emotional self-efficacy(RESE)and resilience as mediating variables.A questionnaire survey was conducted among Chinese grassroots civil servants,with a valid sample size of 2673 after excluding missing values and conducting relevant data processing.The PROCESS was used to examine the relationship between MHL,RESE,resilience,and WWB.The study found that MHL among grassroots civil servants was positively and significantly correlated with WWB(r=0.73,p<0.01).RESE partially mediated the relationship between MHL and WWB(β=0.25,95%CI[0.22,0.28]).Resilience partially mediated the relationship between MHL and WWB(β=0.22,95%CI[0.19,0.26]).MHL had a positive effect on WWB through the chain mediating effect of RESE and resilience(β=0.05,95%CI[0.03,0.07]).There is a close relationship between MHL and WWB,where Chinese grassroots civil servants with higher levels of MHL can develop stronger RESE and resilience,leading to higher WWB.The results of this study remind organizational institutions of Chinese grassroots civil servants that enhancing MHL,RESE,and resilience is an important pathway to promoting their WWB. 展开更多

And the household products go into our lives, we enjoy the material on those by making more and more people gradually reduce the daily activities. And the most prominent is the elevators and cars, reducing active time and the amount of activity, a lot of heat stored in the human body is causing various diseases, from the results of medical research over the past decade. Reliability and Validity of Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale among Chinese Civil Servants

The purpose of this study was to explore the reliability and validity of the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale(WEMWBS)among Chinese civil servants,thus establishing a useful tool for assessing the mental health of individuals in this occupation.The WEMWBS,Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),and Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale-21(DASS-21)were administered to a sample of 2,624 civil servants(42.860±9.690 years)in a city located within Shandong Province,China.Thefindings revealed significant differences between groups with high and low scores on each item of the WEMWBS(t=48.127–78.308,all p<0.01).The item-total correlation of WEMWBS ranged from 0.752 to 0.911(all p<0.01).Scree plot and parallel analysis results suggested a one-factor solution with factor loadings ranging from 0.762–0.918,accounting for 73.16%of the total variance.Confirmatory factor analysis supported a single-factor model of the Chinese version of the WEMWBS(CFI=0.997,TLI=0.996,RMSEA=0.0330).The Chinese version of the WEMWBS was positively correlated with the SWLS(r=0.710,both p<0.01)and negatively correlated with depression,anxiety,stress,and total DASS-21 score(r=-0.512,-0.437,-0.488,-0.497,all p<0.01).The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and Guttman split-half coefficient of the Chinese version of the WEMWBS were 0.970 and 0.953,respectively.In conclusion,the 14-item Chinese version of the WEMWBS demonstrated strong reliability and validity,establishing its utility as a precise tool for measuring and assessing the mental health status of civil servants in China. 展开更多

In ... <strong>Background:</strong><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Worldwide, the burden of cardiovascular (CV) risk factors is rising with devastating impacts on the productive workforce. In developing nations, it has further led to an unstable population pyramid as a result of premature deaths of her workforce leading to the continued tapering of the pyramidal apex. Inspite of this, many studies were conducted among the general population neglecting the local government civil servants who are seen as policy implementers. Therefore, the study assessed the pattern of CV risk factors in South-western Nigeria.</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Methods:</span></b><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> A cross-sectional study was conducted among 260 local government workers selected by multistage sampling technique from July to September 2017. A pretested, interviewer-administered questionnaire was administered to obtain socio-demographic and behavioural information. Lipid analysis, anthropometric, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose measurements were done according to protocols. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 25;bivariate analysis was done using Chi-square. Level of significance was at 5%. </span><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Results:</span></b><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> The mean age of respondents was 46.0 </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">±</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> 6.7 years. The proportion of participants with good knowledge of risk factors was 57.7%. The proportion of respondent with hypertension, visceral obesity, general obesity, diabetes, smoking and physical inactivity was 40.4%, 35.0%, 52.2%, 38.2%, 5.8% and 75.8% respectively. The prevalence of elevated total cholesterol (</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↑</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">TC)</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">, raised low-density lipoprotein (</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↑</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">LDLc), low high-density lipoprotein (</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↓</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">HDLc) and elevated triglycerides (</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↑</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">TGs) w</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">as</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> 55.4%, 85.0%, 70.4% and 3.1% respectively. There was a higher proportion of elevated total cholesterol (TC) and LDLc among female respondents (p = 0.002;p = 0.009). Senior cadre staff had a higher proportion of respondents with raised </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↓</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">HDLc and </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">↑</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">TGs (p =</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">0.031;p = 0.036). 政府作为社会发展的推动者和保障者,需不断改革以适应社会发展的变化。改革进程中伴生的矛盾与风险考验着公务员的能力与担当,并可能引发实践中的阶段性偏差。为此采用深度访谈法,基于情感事件理论,对处于政府改革中的公务员群体进行访... 政府作为社会发展的推动者和保障者,需不断改革以适应社会发展的变化。改革进程中伴生的矛盾与风险考验着公务员的能力与担当,并可能引发实践中的阶段性偏差。为此采用深度访谈法,基于情感事件理论,对处于政府改革中的公务员群体进行访谈。总结公务员偏差行为的现实表征,包括制度转换中的适应挑战,决策参与中的被动响应,利益考量下的利己倾向,双重领导下的角色困惑等。偏差行为受三重因素影响所致:在制度层面受引导监督与容错纠错的动态约束;在心理层面受不安全感与变革压力的相互影响;在环境层面受内部信息与交流渠道的叠加形塑。对此给出调适策略:加强制度建设,完善引导监督机制和容错纠错机制;强化心理赋能,提升自我效能感和职业认同感;促进环境优化,拓宽信息流通和交流渠道。 展开更多

“放管服”改革近年来取得显著成效,但从领导力视角探讨“放管服”改革成效影响因素的相关实证研究较为缺乏。通过构建领导力与“放管服”改革成效的理论模型,以S市4个城区收集到的415份问卷为样本,采用数据统计分析、结构方程模型和Boo... “放管服”改革近年来取得显著成效,但从领导力视角探讨“放管服”改革成效影响因素的相关实证研究较为缺乏。通过构建领导力与“放管服”改革成效的理论模型,以S市4个城区收集到的415份问卷为样本,采用数据统计分析、结构方程模型和Bootstrap法进行实证分析。研究发现:领导力、愿景与战略、公务员队伍建设对“放管服”改革成效有显著的正向影响;领导力不仅直接影响“放管服”改革成效,而且会通过愿景与战略、公务员队伍建设进一步影响“放管服”改革成效;国家级开发区的“放管服”改革成效明显优于传统行政区域;首要职能为城市运行管理与环境保护、经济运行调节与规范单位的“放管服”改革成效仍有待提高;不同单位在编人数对于“放管服”改革成效也有显著差异。研究结论为深化“放管服”改革和提升改革成效提供了有益的启示。 展开更多

青岛市某区公务员焦虑情绪的现状及影响因素分析

目的:调查分析青岛市某区公务员焦虑情绪的现状及其影响因素。方法:选取2023年1月至2023年12月在青岛大学附属医院进行年度体检的青岛市某区公务员(共3641名)进行问卷调查,问卷包括个人生活方式调查及GAD-7广泛性焦虑障碍量表。共发放问... 目的:调查分析青岛市某区公务员焦虑情绪的现状及其影响因素。方法:选取2023年1月至2023年12月在青岛大学附属医院进行年度体检的青岛市某区公务员(共3641名)进行问卷调查,问卷包括个人生活方式调查及GAD-7广泛性焦虑障碍量表。共发放问卷3641份,回收3641份,有效问卷3585份(98.46%),最终3585名纳入分析。根据量表结果分析,青岛市某区公务员的焦虑情绪的现状及其影响因素。结果:3585名研究对象中,焦虑症状检出率为34.23%(1227/3585)。不同年龄、性别、学历、婚姻状况、睡眠时长、每周参加体育活动的时间、工作或生活中(8 h)坐着的时间,焦虑症状检出率差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。多元有序Logistic回归分析结果显示,年龄越大,焦虑症状的严重程度越低(OR=0.969,95%CI0.962~0.978);与女性相比,男性焦虑症状的严重程度更低(OR=0.829,95%CI0.713~0.964);与“天天参加运动”的公务员相比,“每周3次以上运动”(OR=1.394,95%CI1.085~1.788)、“每周3次以下运动”(OR=1.738,95%CI 357~2.230)、“基本没有运动”(OR=2.620,95%CI 2.036~3.370)的人群焦虑症状的严重程度更高;与工作或生活中(8 h)坐着的时间为“几乎全部”的公务员相比,坐着的时间“多于4 h”(OR=0.661,95%CI 0.549~0.796)、“少于4h”(OR=0.598,95%CI0.468~0.764)、“几乎没有”(OR=0.310,95%CI 0.185~0.519)的公务员焦虑症状严重程度更低;与睡眠时长为“8~10h”的公务员相比,睡眠时长为“6~8h”(OR=1.837,95%CI1.465~2.300)、“4~6h”(OR=5.145,95%CI 3.861~6.848)、“4 h以下”(OR=7.404,95%CI3.251~16.878)的公务员焦虑症状的严重程度更高。结论:青岛市某区公务员焦虑情绪现状不容乐观,应加强该群体心理健康的宣传教育,使其保持良好的工作、运动习惯,做到负面情绪的早发现、早预防。 展开更多

对人职匹配的理解与测度不能只考虑工作技能与经验等组织效能要素,更应纳入个性特征、兴趣爱好等与人的全面发展密切相关的要素。对J省省直机关公开遴选公务员的抽样调查显示:遴选公务员人职匹配总体情况较好,但各要素的匹配度并不一致... 对人职匹配的理解与测度不能只考虑工作技能与经验等组织效能要素,更应纳入个性特征、兴趣爱好等与人的全面发展密切相关的要素。对J省省直机关公开遴选公务员的抽样调查显示:遴选公务员人职匹配总体情况较好,但各要素的匹配度并不一致,工作技能与兴趣爱好属相对重要但匹配度稍低的人职匹配要素,应作为今后组织人事工作的重点;在影响因素方面,基于职业规划的报考动机、对目标单位和职位的充分了解、遴选环节的针对性以及入职后的实质性培训,均被证实对公开遴选公务员的人职匹配具有显著正向影响。为进一步提升公开遴选公务员的人职匹配度,报考者应加强自身职业规划,增进对拟报考单位与职位的了解;组织人事部门应增强遴选工作针对性,推行分级分类考试;遴选单位应完善遴选公务员入职后培训,加强干部人才培养。 展开更多

信息技术使用如何影响公务人员的自由裁量权是当下重要的研究问题。对此,相关研究形成了“赋能”与“缩减”的对立观点,并往往关注“街头官僚”,相对忽视了组织内部的人事关系,特别是其他层级的公务人员,且中国情境下的探索不足。基于此... 信息技术使用如何影响公务人员的自由裁量权是当下重要的研究问题。对此,相关研究形成了“赋能”与“缩减”的对立观点,并往往关注“街头官僚”,相对忽视了组织内部的人事关系,特别是其他层级的公务人员,且中国情境下的探索不足。基于此,文章引入领导关系建立分析框架,并使用七组“中国综合社会调查(CGSS)”中的机关事业单位人员数据进行分析。研究发现,信息技术使用对自由裁量权兼具促进与抑制影响,领导关系在其中起正向调节。具体而言,信息技术使用降低了被管理者的自由裁量权,但提高了管理者的自由裁量权。这些关系在党政机关和非东南沿海地区更加明显。文章为理解信息技术使用与自由裁量权的关系提供了辩证框架,促进了我国公共部门信息化转型中的知识积累与理论发展。 展开更多
