For a long time, the continuous development of science and technology in China has brought great influence to education and teaching. In chemistry teaching of secondary vocational schools, modern information technology also shows its unique advantages, which effectively promotes the improvement of teaching effect. A Virtual Reality Application for Teaching Chemistry Experiments

With the rapid development of the modern technology, Virtual Reality has played a more and more important role in our daily life in different fields. The project aims to teach students to do the chemistry experiments ... With the rapid development of the modern technology, Virtual Reality has played a more and more important role in our daily life in different fields. The project aims to teach students to do the chemistry experiments in the virtual world based on Unreal Engine 4 written by C++. Students can choose from two different chemistry experiments and experience the process of doing the experiments in the virtual world. One experiment is designed to make students experience the reaction of two different solvents and another one is to give students a better understanding of the steps of weighing a chemistry materials. The project also requires the students to read the safety rules in order to be allowed to enter the chemistry laboratory. In order to ensure the students have a good command of the chemistry experiment, the project provides students a guidance of how to do the experiment step by step and lists the characteristics of the chemicals used. The virtual chemistry laboratory will give students a similar experience and the same learning effect as in the real laboratory without the risk of being injuerd. 展开更多
