Dual impact of digitalization on the carbon emissions of Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations in China:A spatiotemporal perspective

Digital transformation,as a recent trend in socioeconomic development,is considered as a critical pathway for urban carbon reduction because of its potential to increase productivity and energy efficiency.However,few studies have explored the relationship between urban digitalization and carbon emissions(CE).Therefore,this study systematically analyzed the spatiotemporal distribution and interaction mechanism between digitalization and CE in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)urban agglomerations of China during 2006-2020 based on a multidimensional indicator system,including digitalization industry level,digitalization application level,and urban green digitalization willingness.The findings revealed that both digitalization and CE in the YRD exhibit a significant and synchronously evolving“core-periphery”spatial pattern.Core cities generated substantial positive spillover effect on periphery cities through technology diffusion and policy demonstration,advancing both regional digitalization and the collaborative governance of CE.However,digitalization had dual impact on CE.On the one hand,it promoted the reduction of CE by enhancing energy efficiency,optimizing industrial structures,and promoting the application of green technologies.On the other hand,the expansion of digital infrastructure introduced a potential risk of increased energy consumption.Therefore,targeted policy recommendations are proposed to facilitate the coordination of environmental sustainability and digitalization in the YRD.This study provides empirical support and policy insights for advancing the coordinated development of regional digital transformation and green low-carbon initiatives. 展开更多

The standards system for cultural heritage digitalization aims to build a clear and logically rigorous framework to guide the development and revision of relevant standards.This system enhances the scientific,systematic,and practical aspects of cultural heritage digitalization.This paper comprehensively analyzes the current status and needs of cultural heritage digitalization and standardization.It further examines the methods used to construct the standards system.Through comparative analysis,it establishes a lifecycle-based framework for cultural heritage.This framework accounts for the unique characteristics of cultural heritage and systematically integrates key processes such as collection,processing,storage,transmission,and utilization of data.The standards system is divided into six sections:general,data,information,knowledge,intelligence,and application.Based on the current digitalization efforts,this paper proposes key standardization directions for each section.This framework ensures the integrity and consistency of data throughout the digitalization process.It also supports the application of intelligent technologies in cultural heritage conservation,contributing to the sustainable preservation and utilization of cultural heritage data. 展开更多

In the context of the deepening development of the digital economy,the traditional university-enterprise collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship education model in the field of higher education is facing structural contradictions such as inefficient resource integration,loose collaborative mechanisms,and the virtualization of practical teaching.This study reveals the enabling mechanism of digital technology on school-enterprise collaboration and proposes a four-dimensional implementation path of“curriculum system–practice platform–education reform–evaluation system.”Digital technology builds a two-way circulation mechanism of knowledge flow between schools and enterprises through the data middle platform,deepens collaborative education by relying on the virtual co-research platform,innovates the ability cultivation paradigm with technologies such as VR/AR,and constructs a dynamic evaluation system using all-dimensional data.Research shows that digital empowerment can break through the temporal and spatial barriers and information asymmetry of the traditional model,improve the efficiency of resource allocation between schools and enterprises,and increase the conversion rate of students’practical projects.In the future,it is necessary to further expand the application of technology in the top-level design of talent cultivation,improve the cross-departmental policy coordination and ethical review mechanism,and provide theoretical and practical paradigms for cultivating high-quality compound talents with data thinking,innovation ability,and industry adaptability in the digital economy era. 展开更多

Assessing the benefits and costs of digitalization in the energy industry is a complex issue.Traditional cost-benefit analysis(CBA)might encounter problems in addressing uncertainties,dynamic stakeholder interactions,and feedback loops arising out of the evolving nature of digitalization.This paper introduces a methodological framework to help address the intricate inter connections between digital applications and business models in the energy industry.The proposed framework leverages system dynamics to achieve two primary objectives.It investigates how digitalization generally influences the value proposi-tion,value capture,and value creation dimensions of business models.It also quantifies the financial and social impacts of digitalization from a dynamic perspective.The proposed dynamic CBA allows for a more precise quantification of the benefits and costs,associated with evidence-based decision-making.Findings from an illustrative case study challenge the static assumptions of conventional methods.These methods often presume continuous operation,neglecting reinvestment and operational feedback loops,and resulting in negative net present values.Conversely,the outcomes of the proposed method indicate positive net present values when accounting for factors such as reinvestment rates and the will-ingness to invest in digitalization projects.The principles outlined in this paper can enable a more accu-rate assessment of digitalization projects,thus catalyzing the development of new CBA applications and guidelines for digitalization. 展开更多

This study aims to explore the relationship between the driving factors,implementation measures,and effects of financial management digital transformation in the banking industry in Jinan,Shandong Province,China.Faced with intense competition driven by advancements in financial technology,evolving customer demands,and policy support,digital transformation has become a critical strategy for enhancing operational efficiency and market competitiveness.Leveraging the researcher's extensive professional experience and employing scientific research methods and tools,the study conducted an online survey across multiple banking institutions in Jinan,collecting 305 valid responses from senior management,financial department heads,IT personnel,middle management,and financial and audit staff.The questionnaire was designed around key dimensions of financial management digital transformation,including driving factors,implementation measures,and effect evaluation,covering variables such as technology adoption,process optimization,employee training,data security,and organizational adjustments.Quantitative analysis methods,including reliability analysis,validity analysis,descriptive analysis,regression analysis,and chi-square independence tests,were used to ensure data quality and uncover inherent patterns.The findings reveal significant relationships between driving factors(e.g.,financial technology advancements,market demand,and policy support)and transformation effects(e.g.,operational efficiency,resource allocation,and customer experience),with notable differences in implementation outcomes across different types of banks.Based on these insights,the study provides strategic recommendations for optimizing digital transformation in Jinan's banking industry,aiming to enhance operational efficiency,improve financial service quality,and support sustainable industry development. 展开更多

As a novel educational form deeply integrating digital information technology with teaching and learning, distance open education provides multi-directional empowerment for enhancing village cadres digital literacy. This is achieved through open learning methods, the application of modern digital technologies, tailored learning programs, and the establishment of "overpass bridges" for translating learning outcomes into practice. Objectives This study aimed to explore the research trends,thematic structures,and core competency domains in the field of nursing-related digital and artificial intelligence(AI)technologies.Methods A bibliometric analysis was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 statement.Peer-reviewed articles published in English from 2015 to 2025 were retrieved from Scopus,Web of Science,and PubMed.Thematic clustering was conducted using the Louvain algorithm and cosine similarity.A subset of 66 frequently cited articles was then qualitatively synthesized to capture core competencies across clusters.Results A total of 83,807 articles were included for bibliometric analysis.Of these,66 articles were chosen for thematic analysis.Five major thematic clusters were identified:remote care in primary settings,oncology and palliative care,nurse education and training,safety and quality in nursing practice,and geriatric and dementia care.Additionally,four competency domains were identified:telehealth and remote communication,health systems and informatics,digital tools in practice,and AI-powered decision support.A clear shift in research focus was observed,with the emphasis transitioning from foundational digital skills before the COVID-19 pandemic to more advanced competencies during the post-pandemic digital transformation,encompassing ethical reasoning,immersive technology use,and AI integration.Conclusions Integrating digital and AI technologies is reshaping nursing practice across various thematic areas and competency domains,highlighting a transition from foundational digital tasks to AI-supported decision-making and ethically informed technology use.This study provides a structured overview of evolving competencies in digital nursing and synthesizes evidence to support future research,curriculum design,and policy planning. 展开更多

Detection Sensitivity of Chip Digital PCR for Staphylococcus aureus

[Objectives]This study aimed to evaluate the detection sensitivity of Staphylococcus aureus in dairy products utilizing the chip digital PCR(cdPCR)technique.[Methods]Specific primers and probes were designed and synthesized based on the conserved sequence of the heat-resistant nuclease gene nuc of S.aureus.cdPCR was employed to detect S.aureus,and the sensitivity of this technique was systematically assessed in samples exhibiting low levels of contamination.[Results]cdPCR demonstrated precise quantification when the initial concentration of the sample enrichment solution was equal to or greater than 50 CFU/mL.The detection dynamic range extended across at least five orders of magnitude,with a minimum DNA detection limit of 0.2304 pg/μL.In artificially contaminated cheese samples,the method s lower limit of quantification for detecting S.aureus was 8×10^(2) CFU/g.Regression analysis demonstrated that the gene copy number concentration measured by cdPCR exhibited a strong linear correlation with bacterial contamination concentration across a broad range.[Conclusions]The cdPCR method developed in this study demonstrates high sensitivity and robust quantitative capabilities,offering a reliable technical approach for the precise detection of low-level S.aureus contamination in dairy products. 展开更多

Digital twin technology,that creates virtual replicas of physical entities using real-time data and simulation models,has emerged as a transformative innovation across multiple healthcare domains.Its application in physiotherapy and rehabilitation represents a paradigm shift from traditional therapeutic approaches to personalized data-driven interventions that optimize patient outcomes.This narrative review examines the current applications,benefits,challenges,and future prospects of digital twin technology in physiotherapy and rehabilitation,providing a comprehensive analysis of the manner in which this technology is reshaping clinical practice and patient care.A narrative review approach was employed,systematically searching PubMed,IEEE Xplore,Scopus,and Web of Science databases.Studies describing digital twin applications,development methodologies,clinical implementations,and theoretical frameworks in physiotherapy and rehabilitation contexts were included.Digital twin technology demonstrates significant potential in personalizing rehabilitation programs,enabling real-time monitoring of patient progress,predicting treatment outcomes,and facilitating remote therapeutic interventions.Current applications span musculoskeletal rehabilitation,neurological recovery,post surgical care,and sports injury management.Key benefits include enhanced treatment precision,improved patient engagement,reduced healthcare costs,and accelerated recovery times.However,implementation faces challenges including technological complexity,data privacy concerns,interoperability issues,and the need for substantial infrastructure investment.Digital twin technology represents a promising frontier in physiotherapy and rehabilitation,offering unprecedented opportunities for personalized,efficient,and effective patient care.Successful integration requires addressing the current limitations while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians,engineers,and data scientists. 展开更多

The Impact of the Digital Economy on Regional Innovation Performance:A Business Environment Perspective

In the context of the revolution in new technologies,a key question is whether the rapid growth of the digital economy,driven by digital technologies,has improved regional innovation performance.Using inter-provincial panel data from China(2012–2022)and adopting a business environment perspective,this study applies a Panel Extended Regression Model(PERM),a Panel Simultaneous Equation Model(PSEM),and a Tobit-IV model to analyze how the development of the digital economy influences regional innovation.The results reveal a pronounced U-shaped relationship between the digital economy and the regional innovation performance at the provincial level in China,with the business environment serving as a significant mediator in this relationship.Moreover,regional innovation performance in China exhibits a“ratchet effect,”with the impact of the digital economy varying markedly across regions.While the eastern and western regions have entered an upward phase,whereby the digital economy boosts innovation,the central region displays a weaker effect.Further analysis indicates that the synergy between the business environment and the digital economy in driving innovation remains suboptimal.These findings were supported by robust checks.This study offers theoretical insights and empirical evidence that support the coordinated development of digital government and the digital factor market,as well as business environment reforms that are in alignment with the innovation demands of the digital era. 展开更多

This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization.By examining panel data from 30 Chinese provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities between 2011 and 2022,the research constructs a weight-based evaluation system that integrates subjective and objective methods and a coupling coordination model to reveal its dynamic evolution patterns.Key findings indicate that digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization achieve cross-coupling through critical activities.The impact of digital-agriculture integration on advancing rural revitalization lags by 2–3 years.Although the coupling development degree between the two systems continues to improve,it remains at the stage of primary coordination.Regional disparities are significant,showing a gradient pattern of“high degree of coupling development in the east and low degree of coupling development in the west.” 展开更多

Background:Intrinsic capacity reflects the overall health status of older adults and decline in intrinsic abilities can lead to adverse health outcomes.However,empirical studies examining the association between digital health literacy,health-promoting lifestyles and intrinsic capacity are scarce.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted.Using convenience sampling method,371 older adults were recruited from communities.Multidimensional intrinsic capacity,digital health literacy,health promoting lifestyle and sociodemographic information were measured.Results:The intrinsic capacity of older adults scored 3.75±1.10.The prevalences of declined cognitive capacity,psychological capacity,sensory capacity,vitality,and locomotor capacity were 13.7%,24.3%,19.1%,14.8%,53.1%,respectively.The multiple regression analysis revealed that age(β=−0.253),only living with children and/or grandchildren(β=0.249),current working status(β=−0.132),number of chronic diseases(β=−0.149),frequency of Internet usage(β=0.193),the domain of ability to acquire and evaluate digital health information(β=0.197)in digital health literacy,and the domain of nutrition(β=0.171)in health-promoting lifestyle were the significant factors influencing intrinsic capacity,explaining 27.1%of the variance.Conclusion:Digital health literacy and health-promoting lifestyle have a significant impact on intrinsic capacity.Enhancing digital health literacy and advocating a health-promoting lifestyle are critical to promoting intrinsic capacity for community-dwelling older adults. 展开更多

As structural damage patterns and service environments become more complex,digital twin-based structural health monitoring,with its unique advantages,can compensate for the limitations of data-driven methods regarding data dependency and model interpretability.However,it still faces challenges in modeling complexity,simulation accuracy,and discrepancies between real and virtual features.This study proposes a balanced fidelity digital twin for structural damage monitoring based on Lamb wave multilevel feature enhancement and adaptive space interaction.Firstly,multilevel refined features are extracted from few-shot guided wave signals obtained in physical and digital space,and the adversarial synthetic balancing algorithm is proposed for feature enhancement.Additionally,the learning phase of the damage monitoring model based on the feature-mapping convolutional network is driven by virtual samples of readily accessible balanced fidelity in digital space.To reduce the feature distributional difference between the two spaces,an interactive transfer approach is introduced to establish a shared feature digital twin space.Overall,this study provides a feasible technique to enhance the accessibility and generalizability of digital twins for real engineering structures. 展开更多

Research on the Application of Digital Intraoral Scanning Impression Technique in Oral Implant Restoration for Periodontitis Patients and Its Impact on VAS Scores

Objective:To explore the application effect of digital intraoral scanning impression technique in oral implant restoration for periodontitis patients and analyze its impact on patients’Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores.Methods:A total of 80 periodontitis patients who received implant restoration in our hospital from May 2023 to May 2025 were selected as research subjects.They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group used the digital intraoral scanning impression technique to obtain impressions,while the control group used the traditional silicone rubber impression technique.The impression-taking time,the number of prostheses try-ins,implant survival rate,periodontal health indicators(probing depth,gingival index,bleeding index),and VAS scores(pain during treatment and comfort after restoration)were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group was superior to the control group in terms of impression-taking time,the number of prostheses try-ins,and implant survival rate(p<0.05).Six months after restoration,the improvement in periodontal health indicators in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(p<0.05).In addition,the pain VAS score of the observation group during treatment was lower than that of the control group,and the comfort VAS score after restoration was higher than that of the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Digital intraoral scanning impression technology can effectively enhance the efficiency and success rate of implant restoration in periodontitis patients,improve periodontal health,alleviate patients’discomfort during treatment,and increase post-restoration comfort,demonstrating high clinical application value. 展开更多
