Based on 5G and IoT technology,this study addresses the issues of manual control dependency,poor reliability,and high labor costs in traditional ceramic kiln exhaust cover operations.An intelligent control system for kiln exhaust covers was designed in this paper.The system employs temperature measurement devices to monitor the internal temperature of the kiln in real time.A controller automatically operates the actuator to open or close the kiln exhaust cover based on temperature measurements.Additionally,the system integrates data transmission units and cloud services,enabling remote monitoring of kiln temperature and historical data storage.Experimental results demonstrate that the system effectively reduces labor costs and significantly enhances the IoT capabilities of kiln operations. 展开更多

In the traditional manufacturing industry system,the ceramic industry occupies animportant position due to its unique technological characteristics.As the core equipment for theproduction of artistic and daily-use ceramics,the intermittent kiln has become an indispensable keylink in the industry by virtue of its advantage of flexibly adapting to the production of multiplevarieties in small batches.However,the current operation mode of ceramic intermittent kilns facessevere challenges:although instrument control has been initially achieved,the dependence on on-site manual operation and supervision,combined with the characteristics of small-scale andworkshop-style production,has led to widespread blind spots in supervision and numerous safetyrisks.Existing technologies mainly focus on the improvement of the kiln structure and theoptimization of local control,which is difficult to meet the complex requirements of collaborativemanagement and control of multiple kilns.The centralized ceramic kiln management and controldevice proposed in this paper deeply integrates Internet of Things technology and constructs anintelligent management system covering the entire ceramic production area.By collecting andtransmitting the operation data of the kiln in real time,this device not only enables all-weatherprecise monitoring of the state of the intermittent kiln,but also has the functions of intelligentaccident warning and remote control,providing a new technical path and practical model for theintelligent and safe development of the ceramic industry. 展开更多

In order to overcome the defects of the existing technology that the detection of ceramic electric kiln faults takes a long time and costs a lot,an electric kiln control and fault detection device was designed.The working process of the device includes detection module,control module,start⁃stop module and switch module.The detection module detects the resistance circuit and sends a fault signal to the control module.The control module generates stop signal and fault information according to the fault signal,and starts the electric kiln when the fault signal is not received within the preset time.The start⁃stop module can monitor the internal temperature of the electric kiln and control the closing status of the switch module.The switch module is used to control the connection status of AC power and each resistance circuit in the kiln.Based on the 5G DTU or 5G module,the control module could send the information to mobile terminal under the ultra⁃reliable and low⁃latency communication(uRLLC)technical characteristics of 5G communication. 展开更多

Aiming at the characteristics of carbon black,a new method of controlling the black smoke from the industrial coal-burning ceramic kilns by wetting was brought forward.The carbon black in the flue of coal-burning ceramic kiln was collected for the experiments,and its physical and chemical properties were studied in detail.In order to change the sedimentation and wettabil-ity state of the carbon black,the complex solution of the coagulant and surfactant was applied.After a series of orthogonal experiments,the complex solutions with bet-ter effects were chosen.Then,the sedimentation percent-age of carbon black treated by the selected complex solutions was measured.The optimized complex solutions included Na 2 SO 4(100 mmol/L),sodium dodecylbenzene-sulfonate(SDBS)(1.2 mmol/L)and polyacrylamide(PAM)(40 mg/L).After carbon black was absorbed,the complex solutions were clear and colorless.The complex solutions can be recycled,and the sedimentation percent-age of carbon black is 94%. 展开更多

In order to improve the management and control requirements of small electric kilns in ceramic production field.According to the excessive dispersion of electric kilns in porcelain production field,a remote monitoring system based on RS485 bus and Modbus protocol is designed.The system consists of data acquisition,field control,cloud monitoring and communication protocol.MCGS is used as the master station to communicate with the temperature controller,collect and transmit the internal data to Siemens PLC.Through the communication between Siemens PLC and IOT gateway,the kiln working data is uploaded to the cloud platform to realize the remote monitoring for ceramic electric kiln.The experimental results showed this system can accurately collect the working temperature and parameters of the kiln in real time,and can remotely cortrol the kiln. 展开更多
