In-situ TiB2 particles reinforced 2014 aluminum alloy composite was prepared using an exothermic reaction process with K2TiF6 and KBF4 salts. The effects of CeO2 additive on the microstructure and properties of in-situ TiB2/2014 composite were investigated. The results showed that CeO2 at high temperature exhibits the same function as Ce. When 0.5% (mass fraction) CeO2 additive was added, the dispersion of TiB2 particles in the matrix is improved significantly, and particles have no obvious settlement. The dispersing mechanism of TiB2 particles in 2014 Al alloy matrix was explained. Compared with the composite without CeO2, the hardness, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of the composite with CeO2 addition are greatly increased in as-cast condition. 展开更多

The effects of Sm2O2 doped CeO2 nano particles on mechanical properties of Ti3AlC2 were investigated. To improve the mechanical properties of WC-Al2O3 composites, the effects of trace amount of CeO2 additives on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the WC-Al2O3 composites prepared by hot pressing were investigated. The results revealed that the WC-Al2O3 composites doped with 0.1% CeOz possessed refined microstructure and enhanced mechanical properties compared with that of the undoped WC-Al2O3composites. Trace CeO2 suppressed the decarburization of WC, promoted the microstructural refinement, and improved the interface coherence of the WC matrix and Al2O3. When 0.1% CeO2 was added to the WC-Al2O3 composites, the effect of CeO2 resulted in the achievement of a relative density of 98.82% with an excellent Vickers hardness of 16.89 GPa, combining a fracture toughness of 9.85 MPa. m1/2 with an acceptable flexural strength of 1 024.05 MPa. 展开更多

Microstructure and wear performance of Al5083/CeO_2/SiC mono and hybrid surface composites fabricated by friction stir processing

Friction stir processing(FSP) was utilized to produce surface composites by incorporating nano-sized cerium oxide(CeO2) and silicon carbide(SiC) particles individually and in combined form into the Al5083 alloy matrix. The study signified the role of these reinforcements on microstructure and wear behavior of the resultant surface composite layers. The wear characteristics of the resultant mono and hybrid surface composite layers were investigated using a pin-on-disc wear tester at room temperature. The microstructural observations of FSPed regions and the worn out surfaces were performed by optical and scanning electron microscopy. Considerable grain refinement and uniform distribution of reinforcement particles were achieved inside the nugget zone. All the composite samples showed higher hardness and wear resistance compared to the base metal. Among the composite samples, the hybrid composite(Al5083/CeO2/SiC) revealed the highest wear resistance and the lowest friction coefficient, whereas the Al5083/SiC composite exhibited the highest hardness, i.e., 1.5 times as hard as that of the Al5083 base metal. The enhancement in wear behavior of the hybrid composites was attributed to the solid lubrication effect provided by CeO2 particles. The predominant wear mechanism was identified as severe adhesive in non-composite samples, which changed to abrasive wear and delamination in the presence of reinforcing particles. 展开更多

The effect of La2O3 or CeO2 particle size on the oxidation resistance of the electrodeposited Ni-La2O3/CeO2 composites in air at 1000 °C was studied. The results indicate that, compared with the electrodeposited Ni-film, Ni-La2O3/CeO2 composites exhibit a superior oxidation resistance due to the codeposited La2O3 or CeO2 particles blocking the outward diffusion of nickel. Moreover, compared with nanoparticles, La2O3 or CeO2 microparticles have stronger effect because La2O3 or CeO2 microparticles also act as a diffusion barrier layer at the onset of oxidation. 展开更多

二硫化钼纳米片(MoS_(2))受到带电杂质、结构缺陷和易聚集等因素的影响,导致其电子转移性能下降,使其应用受限。将银纳米颗粒(Ag NPs)与少层MoS_(2)纳米片复合,可提升MoS_(2)纳米片的电化学性能。本研究创新性地采用微波还原法,使Ag NP... 二硫化钼纳米片(MoS_(2))受到带电杂质、结构缺陷和易聚集等因素的影响,导致其电子转移性能下降,使其应用受限。将银纳米颗粒(Ag NPs)与少层MoS_(2)纳米片复合,可提升MoS_(2)纳米片的电化学性能。本研究创新性地采用微波还原法,使Ag NPs原位沉积于MoS_(2),得到Ag NPs/MoS_(2)复合材料。结果表明,将Ag NPs/MoS_(2)复合材料修饰于丝网印刷电极(screen printed electrodes,SPE)后,测得的循环伏安(cyclic voltammetry,CV)曲线峰电流值为同浓度单一MoS_(2)修饰电极的1.8倍,方波伏安(square wave voltammetry,SWV)曲线峰电流值为单一MoS_(2)修饰电极的3.4倍,电化学阻抗谱(electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,EIS)的电子转移阻抗值(R_(et))仅为167Ω,相比MoS_(2)/SPE的R_(et)(320Ω)显著减小,说明Ag NPs与MoS_(2)复合可显著增强单一MoS_(2)的电化学性能。此外,还推测了高导电性Ag NPs/MoS_(2)复合材料的导电机理。最后,基于Ag NPs/MoS_(2)复合材料构建了电化学传感器并对前列腺特异性抗原(PSA)进行检测。结果表明,该传感器针对PSA的检测限为0.009 ng·mL^(-1),线性检测范围为0.1~1000 ng·mL^(-1),灵敏度为0.011μA·mL·ng^(-1)。 展开更多

The results show that using α-PbO2 as the intermediate layer will benefit the crystallization of β-PbO2 and β-PbO2 is more suitable as the surface layer than α-PbO2. CeO2 dopants change the crystallite size and crystal structure, enhance the catalytic activity, and even change the deposition mechanism of PbO2. The doping of CeO2 in the PbO2 electrodes can enhance the electro-catalytic activity, which is helpful for oxygen evolution, and therefore reduce the cell voltage. 展开更多

Pt/Ni catalysts modified with CeO2 nanoparticles were prepared by simple composite electrodeposition of Ni and CeO2,and spontaneous Ni partial replacement by Pt processes.The as-prepared CeO2-modified Pt/Ni catalysts showed enhanced catalytic performance for ethanol electro-oxidation compared with pure Pt/Ni,and acetate species were proposed to be the main products of the oxidation when using these catalysts.The content of CeO2 in the as-prepared catalysts influenced their catalytic activity,with Pt/NiCe2(obtained from an electrolyte containing 100 mg/L CeO2 nanoparticles) exhibiting higher activity and relatively better stability in ethanol electro-oxidation.This was mainly due to the oxygen storage capacity of CeO2,the interaction between Pt and CeO2/Ni,and the relatively small contact and charge transfer resistances.The results of this work thus suggest that electrocatalysts with low price and high activity can be rationally designed and produced by a simple route for use in direct ethanol fuel cells. 展开更多

为了研究MnO_x-CeO_2复合氧化物催化氧化柴油机NO的性能,采用溶胶凝胶法制备了不同Mn/Ce摩尔比的xMn10Ce/γ-Al_2O_3(x=5,6,7,8)催化剂。利用X射线衍射(X-ray diffraction,XRD)、X射线光电子能谱(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,XPS)... 为了研究MnO_x-CeO_2复合氧化物催化氧化柴油机NO的性能,采用溶胶凝胶法制备了不同Mn/Ce摩尔比的xMn10Ce/γ-Al_2O_3(x=5,6,7,8)催化剂。利用X射线衍射(X-ray diffraction,XRD)、X射线光电子能谱(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,XPS)和H_2程序升温还原(H_2temperature programmed reduction,H_2-TPR)技术分别对其物相结构、元素价态及还原性能进行了表征。结果表明:CeO_2晶粒尺寸随Mn含量增加而逐渐变大,同时添加适量的Mn也有利于提高催化剂中Mn^(4+)的数量,从而促进NO氧化;当x=6时,催化剂的氧化还原性能最好。最后,基于模拟气试验平台考察了不同Mn/Ce比对xMn10Ce/γ-Al_2O_3催化剂氧化NO性能的影响。结果表明:在350℃时,NO浓度达饱和所需时间和反应速率与Mn添加量呈非线性关系;在250~450℃范围内,6Mn10Ce/γ-Al_2O_3的NO氧化性能最好,其NO浓度在350℃时最先达到稳定,仅需4min,但在450℃时则延长至6min,这主要是受热力学平衡及随反应进行活性氧数量及氧空位逐渐饱和共同作用的结果。 展开更多

The electrocatalytic activity and stability of Pt/C catalyst modified by using CeO_2-ZrO_2 mixed oxides for the alcohols electrochemical oxidation as probes were investigated. The catalyst samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The electrochemical properties were measured by a three electrode system on electrochemical workstation(IVIUM). The results showed that the presence of CeO_2-ZrO_2 might be associated with the presence of Pt, which indicated that possibly there was synergistic effect between CeO_2-ZrO_2 and Pt nanoparticles. The electrocatalytic activity and stability of Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr) for methanol and ethanol oxidation was better than that of Pt-CeO_2/C, which was attributed to that CeO_2-ZrO_2 composited oxides enhanced oxygen mobility and promoted oxygen storage capacity(OSC). Furthermore, the best performance was found when the molar ratio of CeO_2 to ZrO_2 was 2:1 for the oxidation of methanol and ethanol. The forward peak current density of Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr, Ce:Zr=2:1) towards the methanol electrooxidation was about 3.8 times that of Pt-CeO_2/C. Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr) appeared to be a promising and less expensive methanol oxidation anode catalyst. 展开更多

In order to improve the wetting properties of graphite with Al melt and reduce the oxidation of the graphite, by which the segregation of components during the liquid-stir-casting process could be prevented. In this paper, a uniform thin nano-film of CeO2, about 20 nm thick, was successfully prepared onto graphite powder surface by heterogeneous nu-cleation process. The results show that an obvious chemical reaction did exit between CeO2 film and graphite with the formation of Ce-O-C bond, leading to a shift of the binding energy of C and Ce. The cover with CeO2 film illustrates a distinct change of surface state of graphite with a decrease of angle of contact. 展开更多

采用Al-Zr-B-O原位熔体反应体系制备了不同颗粒含量的(ZrB_(2)+Al_(2)O_(3))_(np)/AA6016复合材料,研究热挤压对复合材料微观组织和拉伸性能的影响。微观组织研究表明:ZrB_(2)和Al_(2)O_(3)纳米颗粒团簇在热挤压作用下细分成弥散的小颗... 采用Al-Zr-B-O原位熔体反应体系制备了不同颗粒含量的(ZrB_(2)+Al_(2)O_(3))_(np)/AA6016复合材料,研究热挤压对复合材料微观组织和拉伸性能的影响。微观组织研究表明:ZrB_(2)和Al_(2)O_(3)纳米颗粒团簇在热挤压作用下细分成弥散的小颗粒团簇并沿挤压方向以颗粒条带的形式重新分布;ZrB_(2)和Al_(2)O_(3)颗粒对热挤压过程中动态再结晶行为具有促进作用,热挤压后复合材料晶粒尺寸明显细化,挤压前、后晶粒平均尺寸分别为44.54、10.46μm。拉伸测试表明,当颗粒含量为3 vol%时,挤压后复合材料的力学性能达到最佳,其中抗拉强度和伸长率分别为398.1 MPa和28.3%,在相同体积分数下,与未挤压的复合材料相比,抗拉强度和伸长率分别提高了28%和12%。 展开更多

以硅溶胶为原料,通过化学沉淀法对硅溶胶进行铈锆改性,制备出抛光用单分散的CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料。考察了不同铈锆掺杂量的CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料对蓝宝石晶片抛光性能的影响,研究了CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料对蓝宝石晶片的... 以硅溶胶为原料,通过化学沉淀法对硅溶胶进行铈锆改性,制备出抛光用单分散的CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料。考察了不同铈锆掺杂量的CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料对蓝宝石晶片抛光性能的影响,研究了CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料对蓝宝石晶片的抛光机理。通过透射电子显微镜(TEM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)-能谱仪(EDS)、X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)对样品的组成、形貌等进行表征。以所制备的复合磨料对蓝宝石晶片进行抛光,利用原子力显微镜(AFM)检测抛光后的蓝宝石晶片表面粗糙度。结果表明:CeO_2/ZrO_2硅溶胶复合磨料中最佳的铈锆掺杂量为:铈掺杂量为1.5wt%,锆掺杂量为1.0wt%,材料去除速率可以达到36.1 nm/min,表面粗糙度可以达到0.512 nm,而相同条件下纯硅溶胶抛光后的蓝宝石表面粗糙度为1.59 nm,材料去除速率为18.4nm/min,该复合磨料表现出较好的抛光性能。 展开更多

A novel electrochemical detection approach for platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF) via "sandwich"structure is reported in this paper. 3D-4MgCO3 Mg(OH)2 4H2O-Au NPs inorganic hybrid composite was utilized as immobilized substrate for sensitive PDGF detection and Pt-Au bimetallic nanoparticles were labelled on PDGF aptamer to indirectly detect PDGF for the first time. The proposed aptasensor exhibited a high catalytic efficiency towards reduction of H2O2, hence the sensitive detection of PDGF was achieved.Results showed that the aptasensor exhibited excellent linear response to PDGF, in the range of 0.1 pg/m L–10 ng/m L(4 fmol/L–400 pmol/L), with detection limit of 0.03 pg/m L(1.2 fmol/L). 展开更多

采用微波辅助的方法获得了具有过氧化物模拟酶的性质Mo/CeO2 NPs纳米粒子.L-半胱氨酸对Mo/CeO2 NPs的催化效能有明显的抑制作用,基于此构建一种快速准确测定L-半胱氨酸的比色传感方法.同时,结合利用尿酸氧化酶能够专一性酶催化尿酸作用... 采用微波辅助的方法获得了具有过氧化物模拟酶的性质Mo/CeO2 NPs纳米粒子.L-半胱氨酸对Mo/CeO2 NPs的催化效能有明显的抑制作用,基于此构建一种快速准确测定L-半胱氨酸的比色传感方法.同时,结合利用尿酸氧化酶能够专一性酶催化尿酸作用下产H2 O2的原理,建立了准确检测尿酸含量的比色方法.在最优条件下,L-半胱氨酸的检测范围为1.0×10^-5~1.0×10^-4 mol/L,其检出限为0.8×10^-5,尿酸的检测范围为2.0×10^-6~1.0×10^-4 mol/L,其检出限为1.5×10^-6.此方法仪器简单,结果准确,可应用于检测实际样品中. 展开更多
