Since the idea of“Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education”was formally proposed in 2016,it has rapidly become a research hotspot in education reform.Although a large number of relevant studies have focused on the effective paths to curriculum-based ideological and political education in specific courses,there are few studies on how to integrate ideological and political education contents into particular courses under specific educational concepts and by particular teaching methods.Thus,this paper will explore how to improve the teaching effectiveness of curriculumbased ideological and political education in College English course with the OBE concept as the driving force and the case teaching method as the means.Finally,a few thoughts on the application of case teaching method in College English course are offered. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the effect of using audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing checkups for regulation nurses.Methods:The period was April 2023–April 2024,and a randomized controlled group study was carried out in which 76 regulation nurses in our hospital were randomly divided into a research group and a control group,with 38 regulation nurses in each group.The control group used conventional teaching methods,and the research group used audible thinking combined with the case teaching method,comparing the two groups’independent learning ability scores,assessment scores,and teaching satisfaction.Results:Independent learning ability score:after teaching,the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);Assessment results:the research group was considerably higher than the control group(P<0.05);Teaching satisfaction:the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing room visits for trained nurses can improve independent learning ability and assessment results and increase teaching satisfaction. 展开更多

The Application of Case Teaching Method in the Course of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy

Objective: to explore the value of applying case teaching method to the teaching of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy in colleges and universities. Methods: a total of 124 students majoring in acupuncture and moxibustion from 2019 to 2020 in our university were selected as the experimental subjects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by using the digital parity method. During the course of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, routine teaching mode and case teaching method were used to implement the teaching. The differences in teaching effect, students' examination scores and students' satisfaction degree among the groups were counted. Results: the scores of practical ability and comprehensive ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of theoretical, practical and case analysis of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (p < 0.05). The scores of teaching contents, teaching methods and teachers' satisfaction indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: case-based teaching method can effectively improve students' assessment results and comprehensive ability, increase their satisfaction with the teaching model, and at the same time, it can fully mobilize students' learning enthusiasm and initiative, which is beneficial to improve the teaching quality and teaching effect, and is suitable for further promotion and reference. 展开更多

Objective: to understand the application effect of case teaching method in the course of musculoskeletal rehabilitation technology, and to explore the effect of case teaching method on classroom teaching, so as to provide guidance for students to establish clinical logical thinking and enter clinical practice. Methods: a total of 80 students with rehabilitation techniques were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The control group adopted the traditional teaching method, while the experimental group adopted the case teaching method on the basis of the traditional teaching method. The experimental data were tested by independent sample t. Results: the case teaching method can increase students' autonomous learning, establish clinical logical thinking, enable students to have clear thinking when facing patients, thus improving students' ability to analyze and solve problems, and can better achieve the teaching objectives and vocational ability training objectives of the course. 展开更多

Innovative Application of Case Teaching Method in Pediatric Nursing Teaching

Objective: to explore the innovation and effect of case teaching method in pediatric nursing teaching. Methods: the nursing students who participated in the practice of pediatrics in our hospital from April 2019 to August 2020 were taken as the research object of this subject, and 64 nursing students were involved in the teaching research. According to the double-blind method, the above-mentioned nursing students were divided into the general group (using the conventional teaching method to teach and train the nursing students) and the innovation group (using the innovative and improved case teaching method to teach and train the nursing students). Results: compared with the nursing students in the general group, the nursing students in the innovation group were more approbated to the quality of teaching and training. Through the examination of the nursing students in the two groups, it was found that the nursing students in the innovation group had better mastery of theoretical knowledge and application in practice (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the study found that nurses are a profession with high practical requirements, which requires practitioners to improve their practical ability on the basis of mastering enough theoretical knowledge. Through the development of case teaching method, the practice nursing students can quickly adapt to the current teaching work, improve the immersion of practice, and effectively improve the quality of teaching. 展开更多

Under the background of the Healthy China strategy,the construction of teaching cases in the field of medical care and health is of great significance.This paper systematically analyzes the urgency,feasibility,challenges and future development paths of the construction of teaching cases in the field of medical care and health.With the intensification of the global aging trend and the continuous growth of the number of patients with chronic diseases,the field of medical care and health urgently needs professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical ability.However,the current teaching case resources are scarce and the update is lagging behind,which is difficult to meet the needs of cultivating high-quality talents.Therefore,this paper proposes to use the popularization of network technology,the diversification of multimedia technology and big data technology to broaden the channels for case collection,improve the authenticity and timeliness of cases,and establish a scientific quality assessment and update mechanism.At the same time,specific solutions are proposed for bottleneck problems such as data integration and copyright interest distribution.Looking forward to the future,by strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation and improving the practicality and pertinence of cases,it will help promote the continuous improvement of the quality of education in the field of medical care and health,and provide strong support for coping with the challenges of population aging. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the effectiveness of multi-modal teaching based on an online case library in the education of gene methylation combined with spiral computed tomography(CT)screening for pulmonary ground-glass opacity(GGO)nodules.Methods:From October 2023 to April 2024,66 medical imaging students were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,each with 33 students.The control group received traditional lecture-based teaching,while the observation group was taught using a multi-modal teaching approach based on an online case library.Performance on assessments and teaching quality were analyzed between the two groups.Results:The observation group achieved higher scores in theoretical and practical knowledge compared to the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,the teaching quality scores were significantly higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing multi-modal teaching based on an online case library for pulmonary GGO nodule screening with gene methylation combined with spiral CT can enhance students’knowledge acquisition,improve teaching quality,and have significant clinical application value. 展开更多

Objective: To explore the application effect of case combined with seminar teaching method in Pediatric Nursing. Methods: Two classes in junior year were selected by convenience sampling in 2022, and the two classes were randomly divided into the intervention group and control group by tossing a coin. The intervention group utilized the case combined with seminar teaching method, while the control group used the traditional teaching-based method. The stage test average score, final exam results were compared after the end of the course. The autonomous learning ability evaluation scale and the Chinese critical thinking ability scale were used to attain students’ autonomous learning ability and critical thinking ability before and after the course. The self-made evaluation scale was used to know students’ evaluation of the new teaching method after the course. Results: 1) The stage test average scores of the intervention group and the control group were 79.13 ± 6.39 and 74.67 ± 5.25 respectively (P , the final exam scores were 79.83 ± 6.09 and 75.21 ± 4.91 respectively (P < 0.05);2) The total scores of autonomous learning ability were 118.67 ± 7.70 and 106.49 ± 7.67 respectively (P , and the total scores of critical thinking ability were 283.45 ± 7.82 and 251.37 ± 8.93 respectively (P < 0.05);3) More than 80% of the students in the intervention group believed that the case combined with seminar teaching method could deepen the understanding of knowledge, promote the habit of thinking and literature consulting, and improve the ability to analyze and solve problems, integrate knowledge and communicate and coordinate. Conclusions: Application of case combined with seminar teaching method in Pediatric Nursing improved the students’ autonomous learning ability and critical thinking ability, and strengthened the students’ understanding and application of knowledge. Objective: to explore the application value of clinical pathway combined with case introduction teaching method in clinical teaching of neurology. Methods: 24 medical students in neurology department of our hospital were studied. During the clinical training period from March 2020 to March 2021, the students were randomly divided into two groups, 12 cases in each group. The control group was the traditional teaching mode. The observation group chose the clinical route combined with case teaching to observe the students' theoretical knowledge, clinical practice and operation assessment scores, as well as the teaching satisfaction of the medical students. Results: the scores of theoretical knowledge and practical evaluation of the medical students in the observation group were (89.55±2.26) and (92.36±1.75) respectively, while the scores of theoretical knowledge and practical operation of the medical students in the control group were (80.66±2.23) and (85.16±1.46) respectively. The scores of the medical students in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with differences in scores (P < 0.05). The satisfactory rate of clinical teaching in the observation group was 100%, and that in the control group was 75%, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application effect of clinical pathway combined with case introduction teaching method in clinical teaching of neurology department is more obvious. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, the clinical pathway combined with case introduction teaching method has more advantages, can stimulate the interest of medical students, improve their own theoretical assessment results and clinical practice assessment results, improve the satisfaction of teaching, and has good promotional significance. 展开更多
