Therefore, its addition amount should be less than 0 07% (mass fraction).展开更多

The sample modified for10 min and 6.8 k V output(30 V input voltage) maintained 100% H2 S conversion over a long reaction time of 390 min. The surface properties of adsorbents modified by NTP under different conditions were evaluated by the methods of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET) analysis and in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), to help understand the effect of the NTP treatment. NTP treatment enhanced the adsorption capacity of Fe/WSAC, which could due to the formation of micro-pores with sizes of0.4, 0.5 and 0.75 nm. XPS revealed that chemisorbed oxygen changed into lattice oxygen after NTP treatment, and lattice oxygen is beneficial for H2 S oxidation. From the in-situ FTIR result, transformation of the reaction path on Fe/WSAC was observed after NTP modification. The research results indicate that NTP is an effective method to improve the surface properties of the Fe/WSAC catalyst for H2 S adsorption-oxidation.展开更多

In this study, we applied this technology to carry out targeted genome modification in maize. A marker gene Zmzb7 was chosen for targeting. The sgRNA-Cas9 construct was transformed into maize protoplasts, and indel (insertion and deletion) mutations could be detected. A mutant seedling with an expected albino phenotype was obtained from screening 120 seedlings generated from 10 callus events. Mutation efficiency in maize heterochromatic regions was also investigated. Twelve sites with different expression levels in maize centromeres or pericentromere regions were selected. The sgRNA- Cas9 constructs were transformed into protoplasts followed by sequencmg the transformed protoplast genomic DNA. The results show that the genes in heterochromatic regions could be targeted by the CRISPR/Cas9 system efficiently, no matter whether they are expressed or not. Meanwhile, off-target mutations were not found in the similar sites having no PAM (protospacer adjacent motif) or having more than two mismatches. Together. our results show that the CRISPR/Cas9 system is a robust and efficient tool for genome modification in both euchromatic and heterochromatic regions in maize.展开更多

文摘Modification conditions determine the surface topography and the active material phase composition of a catalyst. To study the influence of modification on a carbon-based sorbent, coconut husk activated carbon(AC)which was activated using HNO_(3)and modified by FeSO4 and Fe(NO_(3))_(3)was examined. The pore textures and surface chemical characteristics of the carbon materials were examined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Brunner-Emmet-Teller(BET),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy. The surface topography, the pore structure, active materials, and functional groups of AC,AC modificated by HNO3(HNO3/AC for short),and AC modificated by FeSO4 and Fe(NO3)3(Fe/AC for short)were systematically studied.Subsequently, the mechanism of modifying the conditions for the carbon materials was determined. Results showed that the surface micro topography of HNO3/AC became unsystematic and disordered. After modification with FeSO4,the ferriferous oxide was mainly present as a near-spherical crystal.Ferriferous oxides from Fe(NO_(3))_(3)modification mainly exhibited a plate shape.HNO_(3)modification could enlarge the pores but decrease the specific surface area of AC.FeSO_(4)modification resulted in a new net post structure in the pore canal of AC.Fe(NO_(3))_(3)modification caused the pore space structure to develop in the interior, and a higher calcination temperature was useful for ablation. The ash content of the AC was substantially reduced upon HNO_(3)modification.Upon FeSO_(4)modification,α-FeOOH,α-Fe_(2)O_(3)andγ-Fe_(2)O_(3)coexisted under the condition of a lower concentration of FeSO_(4)and a lower calcination temperature, and a higher FeSO_(4)concentration and calcination temperature generated moreα-Fe_(2)O_(3).The same Fe(NO_(3))_(3)modification and a higher calcination temperature were beneficial to the minor chipping formation ofγ-Fe_(2)O_(3).A higher Fe(NO_(3))_(3)loading produced a lower graphitization degree.HNO_(3)modification formed various new oxygen-containing functional groups and few nitrogen-containing groups.Based on the cover,FeSO_(4)and Fe(NO_(3))_(3)modification could decrease the oxygen-containing and nitrogen-containing functional groups. These results could optimize the modification condition and improve physical and chemical properties of carbon-based sorbents.
文摘Modifying effect and mechanism of trace rare earth on Fe(Si) rich impurity phases in commercial purity aluminum were studied with the aids of SEM, EDAX, TEM, etc. It is found that Ce rich mixed rare earth (RE) is an effective modifying agent, which makes the coarse Fe rich impurity phases transform into complex compounds of tiny, sphere/short stick form, thus improving mechanical properties of this material; its modifying mechanism is in that RE gathering in front of solid/liquid interface enters into the impurity phases, forming complex (AlFeSiRE) compounds; or is adsorbed in the impurity phases surface, impeding the growth of impurity phases; however, excessive RE will result in the increasing of RE compounds (secondary phases), and plasticity reduction of this material. Therefore, its addition amount should be less than 0 07% (mass fraction).

文摘Walnut-shell activated carbon(WSAC) supported ferric oxide was modified by non-thermal plasma(NTP), and the removal efficiency for hydrogen sulfide over Fe/WSAC modified by dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) was significantly promoted. The research results indicate that NTP is an effective method to improve the surface properties of the Fe/WSAC catalyst for H2 S adsorption-oxidation.

文摘CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats)/Cas9 system, which is a newly developed technology for targeted genome modification, has been successfully used in a number of species. Together. our results show that the CRISPR/Cas9 system is a robust and efficient tool for genome modification in both euchromatic and heterochromatic regions in maize.

文摘A series of Fe/HZSM-5 catalysts with different iron loadings were prepared by impregnation method.Characterization was performed by N2 adsorption-desorption,X-ray diffraction(XRD),NH3 temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),temperature-programmed reduction (TPR),temperature-programmed oxidation(TPO)and thermogravimetry(TG)analysis.Iron content in the synthesized samples varied from 1.1 wt%to 20 wt%.The obtained samples have been used for ethanol conversion into light olefins. It was found that the amount of strong acidity at 300 -5 50-C on Fe-modified samples was decreased, going with another new acid site appearance at 550- 600-C and that Fe/HZSM-5 catalysts were highly selective towards light olefins, especially the 9FZ sample. In addition,Fe-modified catalysts suppressed the conversion of ethanol to aromatics and paraffins and enhanced their anti-carbon deposit ability.

文摘Fe-loaded activated carbon(AC)has high surface acidity and more active sites, while manganese-loaded AC has high oxygen content.Coconut husk AC modified by Fe-Mn was studied with the aim of revealing the modification mechanism.First,HNO_(3)AC was prepared using the nitric acid immersion method.Second,Fe-Mn/AC was prepared using the Fe(N0_(3))_(3)and Mn(N0_(3))_(2)sequential immersion. The effects of HNO_(3),Fe(N0_(3))_(3),and Mn(N0_(3))_(2)on the pore texture and surface chemical characteristics of carbon materials were examined by scanning electron microscopy,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)analysis,X-ray diffraction and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The surface topography, pore structure, active material, and functional groups of AC,HNO_(3)/AC,and Fe-Mn/AC were systematically studied. The following results were obtained. The surface of HNO_(3)AC has more ditches and air voids;the micropores of HNO_(3)AC are deformed and flattened compared to those of AC.The surface of Fe-Mn/AC exhibits an accumulation phenomenon.MnFe_(2)O_(4)and FeMn_(2)O_(4)formed more pore structures.AC and HNO_(3)AC have numerous micropores. The higher loading quantity of Fe-Mn results in bigger specific surface. The active components of Fe-Mn/AC-1,Fe-Mn/AC-2,Fe-Mn/AC-3,and Fe-Mn/AC-4 are MnFe_(2)O_(4),MnO_(0.43)Fe_(2.57)O_(4),Mn_(3)O_(4),and ot-Fe_(2)O_(3)>respectively.The surface functional groups of AC and HNO_(3)AC are oxygen-containing functional groups. The effect of Fe-Mn modifying conditions on functional group species is rare;however,Fe/AC has more oxygen-containing functional groups. These research findings can aid in the desulfurization and denitrification of the Fe-Mn/AC catalyst.

文摘Due to its high efficiency,Fe(Ⅱ)-based catalytic oxidation has been one of the most popular types of technology for treating growing organic pollutants.A lot of chemical Fe sludge alongwith various refractory pollutantswas concomitantly produced, whichmay cause secondary environmental problemswithout proper disposal. We here innovatively proposed an effective method of achieving zero Fe sludge, reusing Fe resources(Fe recovery=100%)and advancing organics removal(final TOC removal>70%)simultaneously,based on the in situ formation of magnetic Ca-Fe layered double hydroxide(Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH)nano-material.Cations(Ca^(2+)and Fe^(3+))concentration(≥30 mmol/L)and their molar ratio(Ca:Fe≥1.75)were crucial to the success of the method.Extrinsic nano Fe_(3)O_(4)was designed to be involved in the Fe(Ⅱ)-catalytic wastewater treatment process, and was modified by oxidation intermediates/products(especially those with COO-structure),which promoted the co-precipitation of Ca^(2+)(originated from Ca(OH)_(2)added after oxidation process)and byproduced Fe^(3+)cations on its surface to in situ generate core-shell Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH.The oxidation products were further removed during Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH material formation via intercalation and adsorption.Thismethodwas applicable to many kinds of organicwastewater, such as bisphenol A,methyl orange, humics, and biogas slurry. The prepared magnetic and hierarchical CaFe-LDH nanocomposite material showed comparable application performance to the recently reported CaFe-LDHs.This work provides a new strategy for efficiently enhancing the efficiency and economy of Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed oxidative wastewater treatment by producing high value-added LDHs materials.
