The conventional model of the grinding force is not suitable for the grinding of the cup wheel due to the difference in grinding style between the cup wheel and the conventional external wheel. So the grit grinding process of the cup wheel is studied, and a new concept of the effective grinding width of the cup wheel is presented. Then the grinding force in grinding WC-Co coating materials by cup wheel is analyzed and a theoretical formula is deduced. Finally, experimental results of the grinding force verify the correctness and the precision of the theoretical formula.展开更多

Methods Ninety patients were randomly divided into an observation group (45 cases) and a control group (45 cases). Basic treatments selected according to corresponding stroke units were applied to both groups. Besides, scalp acupuncture at Dingnie Qianxiexian (MS 6, 顶颞前斜线), Dingnie Houxiexian (MS 6, 顶颞前斜线) and Dingzhongxian (NS 5, 顶中线), was applied in the treatment group. In the observation group, active and passive movement was carried out during the process of scalp acupuncture, and then needling plus bloodletting puncturing and cupping was applied. In the control group, only needling plus blood-letting puncturing and cupping was given. Therapeutic effects, pain scoring obtained by visual analogue scales (VAS), FugI-Meyer and FugI-Meyer's scoring reflecting moving functions of upper limbs were made after 4 courses of treatments in both groups. Results The total effective rate was 95.5% and 91.1% in the observation group and control group, respectively, showing superiority of the former to the latter (P〈0.05). After treatment, VAS scores were all obviously reduced in both groups (P〈0.01), and the reduction in the former was significantly more than that in the latter (P〈0.01). Moving functions of upper limbs shown by Fugl-Meyer's scoring were improved after 2 courses of treatment in both groups (P〈0.01). The improvement was more obvious after 4 courses of treatment than that after 2 courses of treatment in both groups (P〈0.05). After 4 courses of treatment, moving functions shown by FugI-Meyer's scoring were more remarkably improved in the observation group than those in the control group(t=3.9, P〈0.01). Conclusion Both kinetic needling combined with needling plus blood-letting puncturing and cupping and simple needling plus blood-letting puncturing and cupping are effective in treating shoulder-hand syndrome after apoplexy, and the former is better than the latter.展开更多

文摘OBJECTIVE:To update the current best evidence on the effectiveness and safety of cupping therapy in pain management.METHODS:The protocol of this systematic review was registered at PROSPERO(CRD42021261308).An updated literature searching in 7 databases was conducted from January 2014 to January 2023.Two authors extracted data and assessed the risk of bias independently.Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4.1 software(Cochrane Collaboration,London,UK).Meta-analysis with a random effect model was conducted when there was no serious statistical heterogeneity among trials(I^(2) ≤ 75%).Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development, and Evaluation was also conducted to assess the quality of evidence.RESULTS:Seventy-two trials with 5720 participants were included. All included trials were assessed as having high risk of bias. The majority of the included trials reported the benefit of cupping plus other therapy or cupping alone on improving cure rate(average risk ratio more than 1.15) and reducing visual analogue scale [average mean difference(MD) reduction 0.16 to 7.0 cm],improving quality of life, quality of sleep or other symptoms related to pain condition. And there was low/very low quality evidence that the incidence of adverse events in the cupping groups were lower than that in the control groups.Although the heterogeneity between studies and the methodological quality of the study itself lead to the low evidence strength of the current conclusions, the results of this study are a valuable supplement to the founding of previous review.CONCLUSION:Cupping therapy alone or combined with other therapy was considered benefit in relieving pain, improving the quality of life, and increasing the cure rate of patients with pain conditions, though supported by the low quality of evidence.According to the limited evidence, cupping therapy seems to have less harm than drugs when treating pain conditions.
文摘BACKGROUND Clinical studies using Trabecular Titanium™acetabular cups have shown promising short and medium-term results. This material, due to its macro and micro surface roughness, provides a substrate for osseointegration and enhances implant stability. However, there is a lack of evidence in the literature on the use of this material in patients with femoral neck fracture.AIM To evaluate the short-term clinical-functional and radiographic outcomes in patients with femoral neck fractures undergoing total hip arthroplasty(THA)with Trabecular Titanium™acetabular cup implants.METHODS The study included 104 patients with medial femoral neck fractures who underwent THA between January 2020 and December 2020 with the Delta TT acetabular cup(Lima Corporate,Villanova di San Daniele del Friuli,Italy). The mean age of the patients was 69.57±10.16 years(range:36-85 years). The followup period ranged from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 4 years.Three questionnaires(Harris Hip Score,Oxford Hip Score, and EQ5D)were administered along with radiographic evaluations.Statistical methods included the Student's t-test and one-way analysis of variance for comparisons(with significance set at 0.05),and the Kaplan-Meier curve for prosthetic implant survival.RESULTS The mean follow-up was 41.5 months. The Harris Hip Score(HHS)showed a mean increase of 2.74 points(mean HHS 88.52 at 6 months postoperatively and mean HHS 91.26 at the last follow-up)with statistical significance.Similarly, the Oxford Hip Score demonstrated a statistically significant difference between follow-up groups. However, the EQ5D did not show statistically significant differences among the three groups(preoperative,6-month follow-up,and last follow-up).Revision surgery was required in 6 patients.According to Moore's criteria,96%of the acetabular components were radiographically stable and well-integrated at the last follow-up.The Kaplan-Meier curve showed a 96%survival rate.CONCLUSION The clinical and radiographic results obtained in the short to medium term confirm the excellent performance of the Delta TT acetabular cup in terms of osseointegration, providing an optimal solution both for young patients with high functional recovery demands and for fragile patients requiring optimal stability of the acetabular component to reduce the risk of implant failure.
文摘AIM:To explore the impact of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptorα(IGF-1Rα)on the differentiation fate of optic-cupderived retinal stem cells(OC-RSCs)into retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)in vitro.METHODS:OC-RSCs were isolated from optic cups of rats on embryonic day 12.5,and high-purity OC-RSCs were obtained by conditioned culture and passage.Differentiation of OC-RSCs into RGCs under different serum concentrations was examined using flow cytometry, and the serum concentration with high interference with differentiation ratio was selected.Furthermore, the effect of blocking IGF-1Rαon the differentiation of OC-RSCs into RGCs was analyzed through immunocytochemistry and Western blotting.RESULTS:Immunohistochemical analysis revealed IGF-1Rαwas highly expressed in rat embryos at day 12.5.OC-RSCs were isolated and purified, and high-purity OCRSCs were obtained. When 2.5%serum was administered, the ratio of differentiated RGCs(Thy-1.1 positive)decreased significantly, and the results of immunoblotting also confirmed the blockade of IGF-1Rαreduced Thy-1.1 protein expression.CONCLUSION:IGF-1Rαblocking can reduce the differentiation of OC-RSCs into RGCs.
文摘Objective To observe the clinical effects of simple obesity treated with needling and quick cupping therapy at the selected eight points around umbilicus. Methods Ninety-five cases were randomly allocated into an observation group and a control group. In observation group (n=50) patients were treated with acupuncture and quick cupping therapy at the selected eight points around umbilicus, namely Huaroumen (滑肉门 ST 24), Tianshu (天枢 ST 25),Wailing (外陵 ST 26),Shuifen (水分 CV 9), and Yinjiao(阴交 CV 7).In control group (n=45) patients were advised to take Sibutramine, an oral administration to suppress appetite. 文摘High machining precision and machining efficiency can be obtained in grinding WC-Co coating by cup wheel. Finally, experimental results of the grinding force verify the correctness and the precision of the theoretical formula.

Methods With meridian-cupping dredging apparatus to set cupping pressure at -0.04 MPa, cupping was applied at Dhzhui (大椎 GV 14) and bilateral Dazhu (大杼 BL 11) for 10 min in healthy subject. Blood flow monitoring video system of laser speckle was used to record blood flow of GV 14, Shenzhu (身柱 GV 12), bilateral Feishu (肺俞 BL 13) and Xinshu (心俞 BL 15) before cupping therapy, immediate time of cupping removal and 5 min, 10 rain, 15 min, 20 min, 25 rain and 30 rain after cupping removal. Results Compared before cupping therapy, the blood flow of GV 14, GV 12 and bilateral BL 13 was obviously increased at immediate time of cupping removal (all P〈0.05). Compared with immediate time of cupping removal, the blood flow of GV 14 at each time point after 20 rain of cupping removal, GV 12 at 10 min and 15 min after cupping removal, bilateral BL 13 at each time point after cupping removal was all obviously decreased (all P〈0.05). The difference of blood flow of Shendao (神道 GV 11) and bilateral BL 15 before and after cupping therapy was not significantly different (all P〉0.05). Conclusion The cupping therapy could adjust skin blood flow, which is more obvious near the cupping area.
文摘Objective To observe influence of kinetic needling on functional restoration of upper limbs of patients with apoplexy-induced shoulder-hand syndrome. Conclusion Both kinetic needling combined with needling plus blood-letting puncturing and cupping and simple needling plus blood-letting puncturing and cupping are effective in treating shoulder-hand syndrome after apoplexy, and the former is better than the latter.
