We synthesized tungsten-doped vanadium dioxide(W-VO_(2))particles via a one-step hydrothermal method,followed by their integration with antimony-doped tin oxide(ATO)nanoparticles to formulate a composite coating.Subse...We synthesized tungsten-doped vanadium dioxide(W-VO_(2))particles via a one-step hydrothermal method,followed by their integration with antimony-doped tin oxide(ATO)nanoparticles to formulate a composite coating.Subsequently,the VO_(2)/ATO composite coating was fabricated through a spin-coating process.The impact of varying W-VO_(2) content and coating thickness on the performance of the composite coatings was systematically investigated by employing X-ray diffraction,particle size distribution analysis,spectrometry,and other pertinent test methodologies.Our findings revealed that an escalation in both W-VO_(2) content and coating thickness retained high transmittance in the near-infrared band at lower temperatures.However,as the temperature increased,a notable reduction in transmittance in the near-infrared band was observed,alongside a slight decrease in transmittance within the visible band.Remarkably,when the W-VO_(2) content reached 5%and the coating thickness was 1253 nm,the transmittance of the composite coating surpassed 80%.Furthermore,the heat insulation effect achieved a remarkable 10.0℃increase.Consequently,the synthesized composite coating demonstrates significant potential for smart glass applications,particularly in the realm of heat-insulating glass.展开更多
High-performance microwave-absorbing materials(MAMs)should meet both impedance matching and attenuation performance.Commonly,it is hard to maintain excellent microwave absorption(MA)per-formance at an elevated tempera...High-performance microwave-absorbing materials(MAMs)should meet both impedance matching and attenuation performance.Commonly,it is hard to maintain excellent microwave absorption(MA)per-formance at an elevated temperature because the reliance on impedance matching and dielectric loss about temperature mutually restricts.In this work,the pomegranate-like antimony-doped tin dioxide(ATO)/silica dioxide(SiO_(2))spheres were fabricated via a simple spray drying process.When the spheres were used as functional units and dispersed in the matrix,the corresponding composites exhibit an out-standing anti-reflection effect on microwaves.Moreover,the unique pomegranate-like structure of the ATO/SiO_(2)spheres provides both the effective local eddy current and abundant heterogeneous interface,which therefore contribute harvest enhanced dielectric relaxation and improved absorption performance when compared with that of the corresponding ATO/SiO_(2)composition.As a result,the maximum re-flection loss of the ATO/SiO_(2)spheres composites can reach-47.8 dB at 9.7 GHz with a thickness of 1.8 mm,while the reflection loss could reach-47.3 dB at 573 K and the effective absorption bandwidth is 2.4 GHz.This work reveals the importance of local eddy current loss in optimizing the electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance and impedance matching,providing novel guidance on designing advanced high-temperature MAMs.展开更多
To achieve carbon neutrality,the Chinese government needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,particularly at the county level.Anji County in eastern China ...To achieve carbon neutrality,the Chinese government needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,particularly at the county level.Anji County in eastern China is a typical example of an industrial transformation from quarrying to a low-carbon economy.This study analyzed the decoupling types and structural characteristics of GHG emissions and the driving factors of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the Anji from 2006 to 2019,and explored the differences between countylevel and provincial-level or city-level results.It was observed that energy-related activities are the main source of GHG emissions in Anji and that economic development is the driving factor behind the increasing CO_(2)emissions.However,industrial transformation and upgradation coupled with the alternative use of clean energy limit the growth of GHG emissions.This study details the GHG emissions of county during the industrial transformation stage and provides corresponding policy recommendations for county governments.展开更多
