The work is developed within the framework of the European project BIOHEAD-CITIZEN （biology, health and environmental education for better citizenship）, which takes into account that scientific knowledge and teachers＇ attitudes and values can influence the teaching practices. The large questionnaire BIOHEAD-CITIZEN, which was constructed to be applied in 19 countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East countries, was applied, in this study, to six groups of Brazilian teachers： primary school teachers, biology teachers and Portuguese language teachers and corresponding teachers-to-be. For this paper the answers to questions about evolution were used as dependent variables. Descriptive and multivariate analyses were carried out. Biology teachers and biology teachers-to-be gave more importance to the natural selection and the evolution process than the other groups of teachers. Comparing to the BIOHEAD-CITIZEN countries, the total Brazilian sample showed a higher percentage of creationist conceptions, particularly the Brazilian biology teachers and teachers-to-be. As discussed herein, this may not be an obstacle for teaching evolution as they accept both creationist and evolutionist concomitantly.展开更多
This study investigated the application and the application value of intelligent emergency in emergency management in the big data environment.It addresses the neglect of the application value(performance)measurement ...This study investigated the application and the application value of intelligent emergency in emergency management in the big data environment.It addresses the neglect of the application value(performance)measurement of intelligent emergency,further improving the effectiveness of intelligent emergency management.First,approximately 3,900 documents from the intelligent emergency field are analyzed to determine the future research trend in intelligent emergency management.The socio-technical theory concerning technical and social systems is introduced.The emergency management system concepts of“technology enabling”and“enabling value creation”are defined according to bibliometric analysis and socio-technical theory.Second,a research framework that includes technology enabling and enabling value creation for the decision-making paradigm in emergency management according to the big data environment is constructed.A detailed analysis approach from intelligent emergency technology enabling to enabling value creation in emergency management is proposed.Finally,earthquake disasters are taken as examples,and specific analyses of the intelligent emergency enabling and enabling value creation are explored;enabling value creation is discussed based on measurable indicators.The clear concept of emergency management system technology enabling and enabling value creation,as well as the detailed analysis approach from intelligent emergency technology enabling to enabling value creation,provide a theoretical bases for scholars and practitioners to evaluate the value(performance)of intelligent emergency for the first time.展开更多
Augmented reality(AR)is an emerging dynamic technology that effectively supports education across different levels.The increased use of mobile devices has an even greater impact.As the demand for AR applications in ed...Augmented reality(AR)is an emerging dynamic technology that effectively supports education across different levels.The increased use of mobile devices has an even greater impact.As the demand for AR applications in education continues to increase,educators actively seek innovative and immersive methods to engage students in learning.However,exploring these possibilities also entails identifying and overcoming existing barriers to optimal educational integration.Concurrently,this surge in demand has prompted the identification of specific barriers,one of which is three-dimensional(3D)modeling.Creating 3D objects for augmented reality education applications can be challenging and time-consuming for the educators.To address this,we have developed a pipeline that creates realistic 3D objects from the two-dimensional(2D)photograph.Applications for augmented and virtual reality can then utilize these created 3D objects.We evaluated the proposed pipeline based on the usability of the 3D object and performance metrics.Quantitatively,with 117 respondents,the co-creation team was surveyed with openended questions to evaluate the precision of the 3D object created by the proposed photogrammetry pipeline.We analyzed the survey data using descriptive-analytical methods and found that the proposed pipeline produces 3D models that are positively accurate when compared to real-world objects,with an average mean score above 8.This study adds new knowledge in creating 3D objects for augmented reality applications by using the photogrammetry technique;finally,it discusses potential problems and future research directions for 3D objects in the education sector.展开更多
The expansion of construction land on slopes in mountainous cities like Lanzhou has addressed the shortage of flat land but compromised slope stability,leading to uneven land subsidence and risks to infrastructure.Thi...The expansion of construction land on slopes in mountainous cities like Lanzhou has addressed the shortage of flat land but compromised slope stability,leading to uneven land subsidence and risks to infrastructure.This study assessed the land subsidence before and after urban expansion in five areas of Lanzhou by using slope spectrum construction method and gradient expansion intensity measurement that integrated with SBAS-InSAR technology.The results show that construction land on slopes over 20°increased significantly,accounting for 16%of new construction land.The average slope spectrum index was 4.02,with the upper slope limit rising by 8.2°.The land subsidence rate threshold increased by 10 mm/a,and the proportion of pixels experiencing subsidence greater than 5 mm/year rose from 3.63%to 5.24%.Increased construction intensity on slopes caused higher and faster subsidence,which diminished with greater distance from the expansion areas.Areas with slopes between 10°and 25°saw the greatest acceleration in subsidence.Geological composition,building density,groundwater exploitation,and cut-and-fill thickness collectively influence land subsidence rates.This study provides a scientific basis for mitigating geological disaster risks and promoting safe urban development in mountainous cities.展开更多

In the quest for high-efficiency and cost-effective catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),a novel biomass-driven strategy is developed to fabricate a unique one-dimensional rod-arrays@two-dimensional interl...In the quest for high-efficiency and cost-effective catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),a novel biomass-driven strategy is developed to fabricate a unique one-dimensional rod-arrays@two-dimensional interlaced-sheets(C_(1D@2D))network.A groundbreaking chemical fermentation(CF)pore-generation mechanism,proposed for the first time for creating nanopores within carbon structures,is based on the optimal balance between gasification and solidification.This mechanism not only results in a distinctive C_(1D@2D) multilevel network with nanoscale,intersecting and freely flowing channels but also introduces a novel concept for in situ,extensive and hierarchical pore formation.The unique architecture,combined with the homogeneous dispersion of Ni-Fe nanoparticles,facilitates easy electrolyte penetration and provides abundant active sites for the anchoring and dispersion of reactive molecules or ions.Consequently,the Ni-Fe@C_(1D@2D) porous network demonstrates an exceptional OER electrocatalytic performance,achieving a record-low overpotential of 165 mV at 10 mA cm^(−2)and maintaining long-term stability for over 90 h.Theoretical calculations reveal that the porous structure markedly strengthens the interaction between alloy nanoparticles and the carbon matrix,thereby significantly boosting their electrocatalytic activity and stability.These findings unequivocally validate the CF pore-generation mechanism as a powerful and innovative strategy for designing highly efficient functional nanostructures.展开更多

文摘Under the background of the era of rapid development of the meta-universe,the fusion of virtual and reality in new media art creation has become a key trend.Starting from the concept of meta-universe and new media art,this paper analyzes the connection between the two in depth,elaborates on the manifestation of the fusion of virtual and reality in new media art creation,explores the challenges and problems it faces,and puts forward coping strategies with the aim of providing theoretical support for the development of the creation of new media art under the context of the meta-universe,and promoting the innovation and progress of art creation.

文摘With the acceleration of global aging,the population aged 60 and above in China has exceeded 280 million,and the contradiction between the digital skills demands of the elderly and the supply of static and universal educational resources has become prominent.This article conducts an in-depth study on the“on-demand creation”model of elderly education resource services driven by generative AI.This study proposes an“on-demand creation”service paradigm based on generative AI,providing suitable resources for elderly intelligent life skills training through demand perception,content generation,and dynamic optimization mechanisms.From the perspective of technological philosophy and service science,deconstruct the core element logic of the paradigm to demonstrate its dual value in reconstructing the theoretical framework of elderly education and promoting practical transformation.This research indicates that this paradigm provides systematic theoretical support for the innovation of elderly education services through a balance between technological empowerment and humanistic care,helping the elderly master modern information technology and life skills,enhancing their self-care ability and social participation,and better adapting to life in the digital age.
文摘Efficient working capital management(WCM)creates value for both management and shareholders by enhancing cash flows and reducing investment in receivables and inventory.It supports liquidity and minimizes financial distress risks,aligning with the goal of shareholder value maximization.However,traditional manual approaches to WCM are no longer sufficient due to the rapid and complex changes in economic and business environments.As a result,firms increasingly rely on artificial intelligence(AI)in WCM.AI offers advanced capabilities in prediction,monitoring,and problem-solving by processing vast data,identifying variable relationships,and adapting to change faster than human cognition.This paper explores the fundamentals of WCM and AI,their interconnections,and the strategic opportunities AI introduces to optimize WCM in modern enterprises.

文摘In the quest for high-efficiency and cost-effective catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),a novel biomass-driven strategy is developed to fabricate a unique one-dimensional rod-arrays@two-dimensional interlaced-sheets(C_(1D@2D))network.A groundbreaking chemical fermentation(CF)pore-generation mechanism,proposed for the first time for creating nanopores within carbon structures,is based on the optimal balance between gasification and solidification.This mechanism not only results in a distinctive C_(1D@2D) multilevel network with nanoscale,intersecting and freely flowing channels but also introduces a novel concept for in situ,extensive and hierarchical pore formation.The unique architecture,combined with the homogeneous dispersion of Ni-Fe nanoparticles,facilitates easy electrolyte penetration and provides abundant active sites for the anchoring and dispersion of reactive molecules or ions.Consequently,the Ni-Fe@C_(1D@2D) porous network demonstrates an exceptional OER electrocatalytic performance,achieving a record-low overpotential of 165 mV at 10 mA cm^(−2)and maintaining long-term stability for over 90 h.Theoretical calculations reveal that the porous structure markedly strengthens the interaction between alloy nanoparticles and the carbon matrix,thereby significantly boosting their electrocatalytic activity and stability.These findings unequivocally validate the CF pore-generation mechanism as a powerful and innovative strategy for designing highly efficient functional nanostructures.
