The work is developed within the framework of the European project BIOHEAD-CITIZEN （biology, health and environmental education for better citizenship）, which takes into account that scientific knowledge and teachers＇ attitudes and values can influence the teaching practices. The large questionnaire BIOHEAD-CITIZEN, which was constructed to be applied in 19 countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East countries, was applied, in this study, to six groups of Brazilian teachers： primary school teachers, biology teachers and Portuguese language teachers and corresponding teachers-to-be. For this paper the answers to questions about evolution were used as dependent variables. Descriptive and multivariate analyses were carried out. Biology teachers and biology teachers-to-be gave more importance to the natural selection and the evolution process than the other groups of teachers. Comparing to the BIOHEAD-CITIZEN countries, the total Brazilian sample showed a higher percentage of creationist conceptions, particularly the Brazilian biology teachers and teachers-to-be. As discussed herein, this may not be an obstacle for teaching evolution as they accept both creationist and evolutionist concomitantly.展开更多

Augmented reality(AR)is an emerging dynamic technology that effectively supports education across different levels.The increased use of mobile devices has an even greater impact.As the demand for AR applications in ed...Augmented reality(AR)is an emerging dynamic technology that effectively supports education across different levels.The increased use of mobile devices has an even greater impact.As the demand for AR applications in education continues to increase,educators actively seek innovative and immersive methods to engage students in learning.However,exploring these possibilities also entails identifying and overcoming existing barriers to optimal educational integration.Concurrently,this surge in demand has prompted the identification of specific barriers,one of which is three-dimensional(3D)modeling.Creating 3D objects for augmented reality education applications can be challenging and time-consuming for the educators.To address this,we have developed a pipeline that creates realistic 3D objects from the two-dimensional(2D)photograph.Applications for augmented and virtual reality can then utilize these created 3D objects.We evaluated the proposed pipeline based on the usability of the 3D object and performance metrics.Quantitatively,with 117 respondents,the co-creation team was surveyed with openended questions to evaluate the precision of the 3D object created by the proposed photogrammetry pipeline.We analyzed the survey data using descriptive-analytical methods and found that the proposed pipeline produces 3D models that are positively accurate when compared to real-world objects,with an average mean score above 8.This study adds new knowledge in creating 3D objects for augmented reality applications by using the photogrammetry technique;finally,it discusses potential problems and future research directions for 3D objects in the education sector.展开更多
The expansion of construction land on slopes in mountainous cities like Lanzhou has addressed the shortage of flat land but compromised slope stability,leading to uneven land subsidence and risks to infrastructure.Thi...The expansion of construction land on slopes in mountainous cities like Lanzhou has addressed the shortage of flat land but compromised slope stability,leading to uneven land subsidence and risks to infrastructure.This study assessed the land subsidence before and after urban expansion in five areas of Lanzhou by using slope spectrum construction method and gradient expansion intensity measurement that integrated with SBAS-InSAR technology.The results show that construction land on slopes over 20°increased significantly,accounting for 16%of new construction land.The average slope spectrum index was 4.02,with the upper slope limit rising by 8.2°.The land subsidence rate threshold increased by 10 mm/a,and the proportion of pixels experiencing subsidence greater than 5 mm/year rose from 3.63%to 5.24%.Increased construction intensity on slopes caused higher and faster subsidence,which diminished with greater distance from the expansion areas.Areas with slopes between 10°and 25°saw the greatest acceleration in subsidence.Geological composition,building density,groundwater exploitation,and cut-and-fill thickness collectively influence land subsidence rates.This study provides a scientific basis for mitigating geological disaster risks and promoting safe urban development in mountainous cities.展开更多

文摘Guangdong Han Opera,known as the“Peony of the South,”is a treasured art form with a history of over 300 years.As one of the three major opera genres in Guangdong,it primarily uses Pi and Huang tuning,incorporating Kunqu,Gaoqiang,Chuiqiang,and minor tunes,with Zhongzhou rhyme as its stage language.The roles are divided into seven categories:Sheng,Dan,Chou,Gong,Po,and Jing(including Hongjing and Wujing).Its accompaniment instruments,particularly the Touxian,Dasuluo,and Haotou,are distinctive,making it an excellent Pi and Huang opera genre in southern China.In 2008,Guangdong Han Opera was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage,recognizing its artistic value and entrusting it with the mission of inheriting and developing this opera genre.This paper focuses on the Guangdong Han Opera“Wang Zhaojun”and employs methods such as literature review and case analysis to explore its achievements in secondary creation and artistic innovation.The opera has achieved innovations in script,character,music,and stagecraft,and made breakthroughs in performance form,narrative technique,and cultural connotation,promoting the inheritance and development of Guangdong Han Opera and providing insights into contemporary drama innovation.
文摘At the global themed event of 2025 Lanting Culture Salon:Chinese Calligraphy,we witnessed the inheritance and innovation of the art of calligraphy.Artists,based on the traditional calligraphy,incorporated new creativity and elements,having the art of calligraphy radiate new vitality and vigor.These activities broke through the traditional exhibition mode by adopting innovative forms such as digital interaction,cross-border creation and immersive experiences.This allowed the visitors to experience the charm of the art of calligraphy through interaction,further promoting communication and popularization of calligraphy culture.
文摘This paper focuses on the original animated short film Glimmer,conducting an in-depth exploration of its artistic expression characteristics and the application boundaries of AIGC(Artificial Intelligence Generated Content)technology.Presented in a sketch style,the film creates unique visual effects and emotional atmospheres through techniques such as lines and light-dark contrast,demonstrating the distinctive charm of the sketch style in animation creation.Meanwhile,the paper reflects on the application of AIGC technology in animation creation,pointing out its optimization potential in aspects such as character expressions,scene design,storyboard scripts,and creative sound effects.The study emphasizes that although AIGC technology brings opportunities,issues related to originality and dependence on the technology(by creators)also need attention.This paper aims to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for animation education and creation,promote the integrated development of animation art and technology,and drive innovation and progress in the field of animation creation.
