An Iteration Method for Astronomical Image Deconvolution and Reconstruction

Imaging is an important method for astronomy research.In practice,original images acquired by a telescope are often convolved and blurred by the point-spread function(PSF),which is a very unfavorable situation for many scientific studies including astronomy.This paper introduced a single equation iterative method for solving complex linear equations,and this method can deconvolute dirty images,eliminate the effects of the PSF well.With different PSFs,this algorithm shows very good results in deconvolution.Also,with a giant PSF of aperture synthesis imaging,this algorithm improves the peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural similarity of the dirty images by 41.0%and 33.9%on average.In addition,this paper proves that the algorithm can deconvolute the dirty image by making full use of the information of each pixel in the image,even if the dirty image has salt and pepper noise or even lost areas;by its excellent properties of flexible operation to a single pixel,all these bad situations can be dealt with and the image can be restored. 展开更多

A distinguished category of operational fluids,known as hybrid nanofluids,occupies a prominent role among various fluid types owing to its superior heat transfer properties.By employing a dovetail fin profile,this work investigates the thermal reaction of a dynamic fin system to a hybrid nanofluid with shape-based properties,flowing uniformly at a velocity U.The analysis focuses on four distinct types of nanoparticles,i.e.,Al2O3,Ag,carbon nanotube(CNT),and graphene.Specifically,two of these particles exhibit a spherical shape,one possesses a cylindrical form,and the final type adopts a platelet morphology.The investigation delves into the pairing of these nanoparticles.The examination employs a combined approach to assess the constructional and thermal exchange characteristics of the hybrid nanofluid.The fin design,under the specified circumstances,gives rise to the derivation of a differential equation.The given equation is then transformed into a dimensionless form.Notably,the Hermite wavelet method is introduced for the first time to address the challenge posed by a moving fin submerged in a hybrid nanofluid with shape-dependent features.To validate the credibility of this research,the results obtained in this study are systematically compared with the numerical simulations.The examination discloses that the highest heat flux is achieved when combining nanoparticles with spherical and platelet shapes. 展开更多

In recent years,scholars around the world have shown increasing interest in elastic support structures,leading to significant progress in dynamic modeling techniques for pipeline systems.Although multiple analytical approaches exist,engineers increasingly prioritize computationally efficient,precise low-order models for practical implementation.In order to address this need,this study develops an innovative nonlinear dynamic formulation for pipelines accounting for both foundation and boundary nonlinearities.The proposed solution methodology initiates with global mode extraction using the global mode technique,followed by a detailed implementation procedure.Model validation is conducted through a cantilever pipeline case study featuring nonlinear support conditions,where strong agreement between the proposed model's predictions and finiteelement benchmark solutions demonstrates its reliability.Subsequently,a comprehensive parametric study investigates the combined effects of foundation stiffness,boundary constraints,excitation intensity,and nonlinear interaction terms on the vibrational response of the cantilever pipe.This systematic approach yields critical insights for practical engineering designs and applications. 展开更多

General Improvement of Image Interpolation-Based Data Hiding Methods Using Multiple-Based Number Conversion

Data hiding methods involve embedding secret messages into cover objects to enable covert communication in a way that is difficult to detect.In data hiding methods based on image interpolation,the image size is reduced and then enlarged through interpolation,followed by the embedding of secret data into the newly generated pixels.A general improving approach for embedding secret messages is proposed.The approach may be regarded a general model for enhancing the data embedding capacity of various existing image interpolation-based data hiding methods.This enhancement is achieved by expanding the range of pixel values available for embedding secret messages,removing the limitations of many existing methods,where the range is restricted to powers of two to facilitate the direct embedding of bit-based messages.This improvement is accomplished through the application of multiple-based number conversion to the secret message data.The method converts the message bits into a multiple-based number and uses an algorithm to embed each digit of this number into an individual pixel,thereby enhancing the message embedding efficiency,as proved by a theorem derived in this study.The proposed improvement method has been tested through experiments on three well-known image interpolation-based data hiding methods.The results show that the proposed method can enhance the three data embedding rates by approximately 14%,13%,and 10%,respectively,create stego-images with good quality,and resist RS steganalysis attacks.These experimental results indicate that the use of the multiple-based number conversion technique to improve the three interpolation-based methods for embedding secret messages increases the number of message bits embedded in the images.For many image interpolation-based data hiding methods,which use power-of-two pixel-value ranges for message embedding,other than the three tested ones,the proposed improvement method is also expected to be effective for enhancing their data embedding capabilities. 展开更多

In this paper,the convergence of the split-step theta method for stochastic differential equations is analyzed using stochastic C-stability and stochastic B-consistency.The fact that the numerical scheme,which is both stochastically C-stable and stochastically B-consistent,is convergent has been proved in a previous paper.In order to analyze the convergence of the split-step theta method(θ∈[1/2,1]),the stochastic C-stability and stochastic B-consistency under the condition of global monotonicity have been researched,and the rate of convergence 1/2 has been explored in this paper.It can be seen that the convergence does not require the drift function should satisfy the linear growth condition whenθ=1/2 Furthermore,the rate of the convergence of the split-step scheme for stochastic differential equations with additive noise has been researched and found to be 1.Finally,an example is given to illustrate the convergence with the theoretical results. 展开更多

Fins are extensively utilized in heat exchangers and various industrial applications as they are lightweight and can benefit in various systems,including electronic cooling devices and automotive components,owing to their adaptable design.Furthermore,spine fins are introduced to improve performance in applications such as automotive radiators.They can be shaped in different ways and constructed from a collection of materials.Inspired by this,the present model examines the effects of internal heat generation and radiation-convection on the thermal distribution in a wetted convex-shaped spine fin.Using dimensionless terms,the proposed fin model involving a governing nonlinear ordinary differential equation(ODE)is transformed into a dimensionless form.The study uses the operational matrix with the Charlier polynomial collocation method(OMCCM)to ensure precise and computationally efficient numerical solutions for the dimensionless equation.In order to aid in the analysis of thermal performance,the importance of major parameters on the temperature profile is graphically illustrated.The main outcome of the study reveals that as the radiation-conductive,wet,and convective-conductive parameters increase,the heat transfer rate progressively improves.Conversely,the ambient temperature and internal heat generation parameters show an inverse relationship. 展开更多

对于小电流接地系统的单相接地故障选线,传统方法普遍采用基于一维信号的选线模型,存在选线准确率低、抗噪性弱等问题。为此提出一种改进的变分模态分解及Conv Ne Xt的小电流接地系统单相接地故障选线方法。首先引入蚁狮算法优化变分模... 对于小电流接地系统的单相接地故障选线,传统方法普遍采用基于一维信号的选线模型,存在选线准确率低、抗噪性弱等问题。为此提出一种改进的变分模态分解及Conv Ne Xt的小电流接地系统单相接地故障选线方法。首先引入蚁狮算法优化变分模态分解算法,通过蚁狮算法自动寻优选取合适的分解次数和惩罚因子,计算分解得到的各分量的分布熵,将其中的噪声分量筛选去除,将其余有效分量进行线性重构得到降噪后的零序电流信号;其次,将经过降噪处理后的一维零序电流信号经格拉姆角场转换为二维图像,制备故障选线数据集;然后,引入预训练的ConvNeXt模型,根据该研究数据模型特征,在其已有权重基础上对模型参数进行对应微调,从而提高模型精度并形成最终的选线模型;最后引入绝对平均误差、均方根误差作为评价指标验证所提降噪算法有效性。分别在加入噪声与否的前提下,将所提模型与3种选线模型相比较。实验结果表明该模型的准确率最高、抗噪性方面更好,其中该研究算法准确率达到了99.82%并且在不同噪声条件下都能维持91%以上的准确率,高于其他选线模型,克服了传统故障选线方法准确率低、抗噪性差的问题。 展开更多

Active surface technique is one of the key technologies to ensure the reflector accuracy of the millimeter/submillimeter wave large reflector antenna.The antenna is complex,large-scale,and high-precision equipment,and its active surfaces are affected by various factors that are difficult to comprehensively deal with.In this paper,based on the advantage of the deep learning method that can be improved through data learning,we propose the active adjustment value analysis method of large reflector antenna based on deep learning.This method constructs a neural network model for antenna active adjustment analysis in view of the fact that a large reflector antenna consists of multiple panels spliced together.Based on the constraint that a single actuator has to support multiple panels(usually 4),an autonomously learned neural network emphasis layer module is designed to enhance the adaptability of the active adjustment neural network model.The classical 8-meter antenna is used as a case study,the actuators have a mean adjustment error of 0.00252 mm,and the corresponding antenna surface error is0.00523 mm.This active adjustment result shows the effectiveness of the method in this paper. 展开更多

This paper investigates superconvergence properties of the direct discontinuous Galerkin(DDG)method with interface corrections and the symmetric DDG method for diffusion equations.We apply the Fourier analysis technique to symbolically compute eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the amplification matrices for both DDG methods with different coefficient settings in the numerical fluxes.Based on the eigen-structure analysis,we carry out error estimates of the DDG solutions,which can be decomposed into three parts:(i)dissipation errors of the physically relevant eigenvalue,which grow linearly with the time and are of order 2k for P^(k)(k=2,3)approximations;(ii)projection error from a special projection of the exact solution,which is decreasing over the time and is related to the eigenvector corresponding to the physically relevant eigenvalue;(iii)dissipative errors of non-physically relevant eigenvalues,which decay exponentially with respect to the spatial mesh sizeΔx.We observe that the errors are sensitive to the choice of the numerical flux coefficient for even degree P^(2)approximations,but are not for odd degree P^(3)approximations.Numerical experiments are provided to verify the theoretical results. 展开更多

To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fractures,this study considered the combined impact of geological-engineering factors on conductivity.Using reservoir production parameters and the discrete elementmethod,multispherical proppants were constructed.Additionally,a 3D fracture model,based on the specified conditions of the L block,employed coupled(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete ElementMethod)for joint simulations to quantitatively analyze the transport and placement patterns of multispherical proppants in intersecting fractures.Results indicate that turbulent kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant transport.Moreover,the efficiency of placement and migration distance of low-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the DEM in the main fracture are significantly reduced compared to spherical ceramic proppants,with a 27.7%decrease in the volume fraction of the fracture surface,subsequently affecting the placement concentration and damaging fracture conductivity.Compared to small-angle fractures,controlling artificial and natural fractures to expand at angles of 45°to 60°increases the effective support length by approximately 20.6%.During hydraulic fracturing of gas wells,ensuring the fracture support area and post-closure conductivity can be achieved by controlling the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control the direction of artificial fractures. 展开更多

This paper focuses on the online distributed optimization problem based on multi-agent systems. In this problem, each agent can only access its own cost function and a convex set, and can only exchange local state information with its current neighbors through a time-varying digraph. In addition, the agents do not have access to the information about the current cost functions until decisions are made. Different from most existing works on online distributed optimization, here we consider the case where the cost functions are strongly pseudoconvex and real gradients of the cost functions are not available. To handle this problem, a random gradient-free online distributed algorithm involving the multi-point gradient estimator is proposed. Of particular interest is that under the proposed algorithm, each agent only uses the estimation information of gradients instead of the real gradient information to make decisions. The dynamic regret is employed to measure the proposed algorithm. We prove that if the cumulative deviation of the minimizer sequence grows within a certain rate, then the expectation of dynamic regret increases sublinearly. Finally, a simulation example is given to corroborate the validity of our results. 展开更多

We provide a concise review of the exponentially convergent multiscale finite element method(ExpMsFEM)for efficient model reduction of PDEs in heterogeneous media without scale separation and in high-frequency wave propagation.The ExpMsFEM is built on the non-overlapped domain decomposition in the classical MsFEM while enriching the approximation space systematically to achieve a nearly exponential convergence rate regarding the number of basis functions.Unlike most generalizations of the MsFEM in the literature,the ExpMsFEM does not rely on any partition of unity functions.In general,it is necessary to use function representations dependent on the right-hand side to break the algebraic Kolmogorov n-width barrier to achieve exponential convergence.Indeed,there are online and offline parts in the function representation provided by the ExpMsFEM.The online part depends on the right-hand side locally and can be computed in parallel efficiently.The offline part contains basis functions that are used in the Galerkin method to assemble the stiffness matrix;they are all independent of the right-hand side,so the stiffness matrix can be used repeatedly in multi-query scenarios. 展开更多

Proximal gradient descent and its accelerated version are resultful methods for solving the sum of smooth and non-smooth problems. When the smooth function can be represented as a sum of multiple functions, the stochastic proximal gradient method performs well. However, research on its accelerated version remains unclear. This paper proposes a proximal stochastic accelerated gradient (PSAG) method to address problems involving a combination of smooth and non-smooth components, where the smooth part corresponds to the average of multiple block sums. Simultaneously, most of convergence analyses hold in expectation. To this end, under some mind conditions, we present an almost sure convergence of unbiased gradient estimation in the non-smooth setting. Moreover, we establish that the minimum of the squared gradient mapping norm arbitrarily converges to zero with probability one. 展开更多

This study investigated the physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,volatile flavor components,microbial communities,and sensory evaluation of high-temperature Daqu(HTD)during the maturation process,and a standard system was established for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD.There were obvious changes in the physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,and volatile flavor components at different storage periods,which affected the sensory evaluation of HTD to a certain extent.The results of high-throughput sequencing revealed significant microbial diversity,and showed that the bacterial community changed significantly more than did the fungal community.During the storage process,the dominant bacterial genera were Kroppenstedtia and Thermoascus.The correlation between dominant microorganisms and quality indicators highlighted their role in HTD quality.Lactococcus,Candida,Pichia,Paecilomyces,and protease activity played a crucial role in the formation of isovaleraldehyde.Acidic protease activity had the greatest impact on the microbial community.Moisture promoted isobutyric acid generation.Furthermore,the comprehensive quality evaluation standard system was established by the entropy weight method combined with multi-factor fuzzy mathematics.Consequently,this study provides innovative insights for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD during storage and establishes a groundwork for scientific and rational storage of HTD and quality control of sauce-flavor Baijiu. 展开更多

In situ stress inversion using nonlinear stress boundaries achieved by the bubbling method 被引量:1

Due to the heterogeneity of rock masses and the variability of in situ stress,the traditional linear inversion method is insufficiently accurate to achieve high accuracy of the in situ stress field.To address this challenge,nonlinear stress boundaries for a numerical model are determined through regression analysis of a series of nonlinear coefficient matrices,which are derived from the bubbling method.Considering the randomness and flexibility of the bubbling method,a parametric study is conducted to determine recommended ranges for these parameters,including the standard deviation(σb)of bubble radii,the non-uniform coefficient matrix number(λ)for nonlinear stress boundaries,and the number(m)and positions of in situ stress measurement points.A model case study provides a reference for the selection of these parameters.Additionally,when the nonlinear in situ stress inversion method is employed,stress distortion inevitably occurs near model boundaries,aligning with the Saint Venant's principle.Two strategies are proposed accordingly:employing a systematic reduction of nonlinear coefficients to achieve high inversion accuracy while minimizing significant stress distortion,and excluding regions with severe stress distortion near the model edges while utilizing the central part of the model for subsequent simulations.These two strategies have been successfully implemented in the nonlinear in situ stress inversion of the Xincheng Gold Mine and have achieved higher inversion accuracy than the linear method.Specifically,the linear and nonlinear inversion methods yield root mean square errors(RMSE)of 4.15 and 3.2,and inversion relative errors(δAve)of 22.08%and 17.55%,respectively.Therefore,the nonlinear inversion method outperforms the traditional multiple linear regression method,even in the presence of a systematic reduction in the nonlinear stress boundaries. 展开更多

The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical shells.By taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue equations.Besides,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are investigated.It is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well. 展开更多

Soil improvement is one of the most important issues in geotechnical engineering practice.The wide application of traditional improvement techniques(cement/chemical materials)are limited due to damage ecological en-vironment and intensify carbon emissions.However,the use of microbially induced calcium carbonate pre-cipitation(MICP)to obtain bio-cement is a novel technique with the potential to induce soil stability,providing a low-carbon,environment-friendly,and sustainable integrated solution for some geotechnical engineering pro-blems in the environment.This paper presents a comprehensive review of the latest progress in soil improvement based on the MICP strategy.It systematically summarizes and overviews the mineralization mechanism,influ-encing factors,improved methods,engineering characteristics,and current field application status of the MICP.Additionally,it also explores the limitations and correspondingly proposes prospective applications via the MICP approach for soil improvement.This review indicates that the utilization of different environmental calcium-based wastes in MICP and combination of materials and MICP are conducive to meeting engineering and market demand.Furthermore,we recommend and encourage global collaborative study and practice with a view to commercializing MICP technique in the future.The current review purports to provide insights for engineers and interdisciplinary researchers,and guidance for future engineering applications. 展开更多
