The...Long noncoding RNA and microRNA are regulatory noncoding RNAs that are implicated in Alzheimer's disease, but the role of long noncoding RNA-associated competitive endogenous RNA has not been fully elucidated. The long noncoding RNA growth arrest-specific 5(GAS5) is a member of the 5′-terminal oligopyrimidine gene family that may be involved in neurological disorders, but its role in Alzheimer's disease remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the function of GAS5 and construct a GAS5-associated competitive endogenous RNA network comprising potential targets. RNA sequencing results showed that GAS5 was upregulated in five familial Alzheimer's disease(5×FAD) mice, APPswe/PSEN1dE9(APP/PS1) mice, Alzheimer's disease-related APPswe cells, and serum from patients with Alzheimer's disease. Functional experiments with targeted overexpression and silencing demonstrated that GAS5 played a role in cognitive dysfunction and multiple Alzheimer's disease-associated pathologies, including tau hyperphosphorylation, amyloid-beta accumulation, and neuronal apoptosis. Mechanistic studies indicated that GAS5 acted as an endogenous sponge by competing for microRNA-23b-3p(miR-23b-3p) binding to regulate its targets glycogen synthase kinase 3beta(GSK-3β) and phosphatase and tensin homologue deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN) expression in an Argonaute 2-induced RNA silencing complex(RISC)-dependent manner. GAS5 inhibited miR-23b-3p-mediated GSK-3β and PTEN cascades with a feedforward PTEN/protein kinase B(Akt)/GSK-3β linkage. Furthermore, recovery of GAS5/miR-23b-3p/GSK-3β/PTEN pathways relieved Alzheimer's disease-like symptoms in vivo, indicated by the amelioration of spatial cognition, neuronal degeneration, amyloid-beta load, and tau phosphorylation. Together, these findings suggest that GAS5 promotes Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. This study establishes the functional convergence of the GAS5/miR-23b-3p/GSK-3β/PTEN pathway on multiple pathologies, suggesting a candidate therapeutic target in Alzheimer's disease.展开更多
Heterogeneous crystallization is a common occurrence during the formation of solidwastes.It leads to the encapsulation of valuable/hazardous metals within the primary phase,presenting significant challenges for waste ...Heterogeneous crystallization is a common occurrence during the formation of solidwastes.It leads to the encapsulation of valuable/hazardous metals within the primary phase,presenting significant challenges for waste treatment andmetal recovery.Herein,we proposed a novel method involving the in-situ formation of a competitive substrate during the precipitation of jarosite waste,which is an essential process for removing iron in zinc hydrometallurgy.We observed that the in-situ-formed competitive substrate effectively inhibits the heterogeneous crystallization of jarosite on the surface of anglesite,a lead-rich phase present in the jarositewaste.As a result,the iron content on the anglesite surface decreases from34.8%to 1.65%.The competitive substrate was identified as schwertmannite,characterized by its loose structure and large surface area.Furthermore,we have elucidated a novel mechanism underlying this inhibition of heterogeneous crystallization,which involves the local supersaturation of jarosite caused by the release of ferric and sulfate ions from the competitive substrate.The local supersaturation promotes the preferential heterogeneous crystallization of jarosite on the competitive substrate.Interestingly,during the formation of jarosite,the competitive substrate gradually vanished through a dissolution-recrystallization process following the Ostwald rule,where a metastable phase slowly transitions to a stable phase.This effectively precluded the introduction of impurities and reduced waste volume.The goal of this study is to provide fresh insights into the mechanism of heterogeneous crystallization control,and to offer practical crystallization strategies conducive to metal separation and recovery from solid waste in industries.展开更多
Zwitterions(ZIs)are considered as an ideal,novel ionic conductive medium due to their high dipole moment and good solubility of lithium salts.However,the strong interactions between ZIs and Li^(+)severely hinder Li^(+...Zwitterions(ZIs)are considered as an ideal,novel ionic conductive medium due to their high dipole moment and good solubility of lithium salts.However,the strong interactions between ZIs and Li^(+)severely hinder Li^(+)migration.Herein,a quasi-solid electrolyte(MSQSE-2Na)was fabricated by adding sodium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(NaFSI)to sulfobetaine methacrylate(SBMA,a ZI)based polymerization system.Na^(+)occupies the–SO_(3)^(-)site in SBMA prior to Li^(+),which weakens the self-crosslinking of SBMA and frees the Li^(+)bound to the polymer segments.Thus,the polymer conformation of MSQSE-2Na changes to a relaxed,homogeneous"sea-island"type.Meanwhile,Na^(+),due to its electron-withdrawing effect,decreases the electron cloud density of the polymer segments,building a weakly coordinated environment in MSQSE-2Na.Consequently,MSQSE-2Na exhibits excellent ionic conductivity of 7.38×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)and a high Li^(+)transference number of 0.632 at 25℃.The(-)Li|MSQSE-2Na|Li(+)cells exhibit super stability,sustaining operation for over 6182h.The(-)Li|MSQSE-2Na|LiFePO_(4)(+)cells demonstrate outstanding charge/discharge reversibility with a Coulombic efficiency exceeding 99.9%over 270 cycles(≈4500 h),with a capacity retention of 70.0%.This work proposes a new design concept for regulating the polymer conformation and charge characteristics through competitive coordination,thereby advancing the application of ZI-based polymer electrolytes in lithium metal batteries.展开更多
Quantifying and mapping how ecosystem services impact agricultural competitiveness is crucial for attaining the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations.However,few study quantified agricultural competitiveness...Quantifying and mapping how ecosystem services impact agricultural competitiveness is crucial for attaining the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations.However,few study quantified agricultural competitiveness and mapped the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness using multiple models.In this study,multi-source data from 2000 to 2020 were utilized to establish the indicator system of agricultural competitiveness;five ecosystem services were quantified using computation models;Geographic Information System(GIS)spatial analysis was used to explore the spatial patterns of agricultural competitiveness and ecosystem services;geographic detector models were applied to investigate the effects and driving mechanisms of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.Shandong Province of China was selected as the case study area.The results demonstrated that:1)there was a significant increase in agricultural competitiveness during the study period,with high levels observed mainly in the east region of the study area.2)The spatial distribution patterns of ecosystem services and agricultural competitiveness primarily exhibited High-High and Low-Low Cluster types.3)Habitat quality emerged as the main driving factor of agricultural competitiveness in 2000 and 2020,while water yield played a substantial role in 2010.4)The coupling of two ecosystem services exerted a greater effect on agricultural competitiveness compared to individual ecosystem service.The innovations of this study are constructing an indicator system to quantify agricultural competitiveness,and exploring the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.This study proposed an indicator system to quantify agricultural competitiveness,which can be applied in other regions,and explored the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.The findings of this study can serve as valuable insights for policymakers to formulate tailored agricultural development policies that take into account the synergistic effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.展开更多

An in-depth understanding of the competition mechanism between olefins and different types of sulfides in gasoline is essential to improve the desulfurization selectivity of the adsorption desulfurization process(ADS)...An in-depth understanding of the competition mechanism between olefins and different types of sulfides in gasoline is essential to improve the desulfurization selectivity of the adsorption desulfurization process(ADS).In this study,the competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanism of two systems,diethyl sulfide/cyclohexene and n-butyl mercaptan/cyclohexene,with different adsorption amounts in siliceous faujasite zeolite(FAU) were investigated by Monte Carlo(MC) and molecular dynamics(MD).The systems exhibited a two-stage loading-dependent competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanism,with an inflection point of 32 molecule/UC(moleculers per microcoulomb).Before the inflection point(4-32molecule/UC),the competition mechanism of the two systems was the "optimal-displacement" mechanism.After the inflection point,the mechanism of the diethyl sulfide/cyclohexene changed to "relocation-displacement",while that of the n-butyl mercaptan/cyclohexene system changed to "dominantdisplacement".Compared to ether functional groups,the alcohol functional group has higher polarity and stronger adsorption stability,thus occupying more favorable adsorption sites within the supercages(SCs),while ethyl sulfide shifts outward to other sites within other SCs.In addition,the diffusion performance of adsorbent is related to the adsorption energy.The lower the adsorption energy,the weaker the diffusion ability.Meanwhile,the diffusion performance of adsorbates is better at high temperatures and low adsorption capacity.The effect of temperatu re on the desulfu rization selectivity was determined.A lower temperature is favorable for the adsorption capacity of the two systems and the removal selectivity of sulfides.This study provides fundamental insights into the competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanisms among sulfides,mercaptans and olefins,offering theoretical guidance for adsorbent design and reaction temperature optimization.展开更多

BACKGROUND The use of proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)with the intent of reducing gastric acidity to the desired therapeutic level for treating bleeding peptic ulcer still has several limitations.AIM To compare intravenou...BACKGROUND The use of proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)with the intent of reducing gastric acidity to the desired therapeutic level for treating bleeding peptic ulcer still has several limitations.AIM To compare intravenous PPIs and oral potassium competitive acid blockers(PCABs)administered prior to endoscopic treatment of bleeding peptic ulcers.METHODS This retrospective study involved 105 consecutive patients with non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding(treated August 2023 to February 2024).Prior to emergency endoscopy,patients received either intravenous PPI(pantoprazole 80 mg bolus)or oral PCAB(tegoprazan 50 mg single-dose).Severity of bleeding was assessed using the Glasgow-Blatchford,Rockall,and AIMS65 scoring systems.Patients with severe comorbidities were excluded.Primary outcomes included need for therapeutic endoscopic intervention and occurrence of re-bleeding.Multivariate logistic regression was performed to adjust for potential confounding factors.RESULTS Total of the 105 patients,61 received intravenous PPI injection and 44 received oral PCAB prior to emergency endoscopy.To minimize selection bias,bleeding severity was assessed using the Glasgow-Blatchford,Rockall and AIMS65 scores,with no statistically significant differences observed between the two groups.During emergency endoscopy performed within 48 hours,ulcer bed status was classified according to the Forrest classification.The proportion of lesions graded IIa or higher was significantly lower in the PCAB group(P<0.001),as was the frequency of therapeutic endoscopy intervention(odds ratio=0.272,95%confidence interval:0.111-0.665,P=0.004).The frequency of re-bleeding events was statistically significantly higher in the PPI group(odds ratio=0.141,95%confidence interval:0.024-0.844,P=0.032).CONCLUSION Pre-endoscopic PCAB administration is more effective than PPI injection for upper gastrointestinal bleeding and may reduce ulcer bleeding mortality.展开更多
BACKGROUND The neural mechanisms underlying aggressive behavior in schizophrenia(SCZ)remain poorly understood.To date,no studies have reported on the event-related potential(ERP)characteristics of aggression in SCZ us...BACKGROUND The neural mechanisms underlying aggressive behavior in schizophrenia(SCZ)remain poorly understood.To date,no studies have reported on the event-related potential(ERP)characteristics of aggression in SCZ using the competitive reaction time task(CRTT).Further investigation into the ERP correlates of aggression in SCZ would provide valuable insights into the neural processes involved.AIM To explore the neural mechanism of aggressive behavior in SCZ.METHODS Participants of this study included 40 SCZ patients and 42 healthy controls(HCs).The Reactive Proactive Aggression Questionnaire was used to assess trait of aggression.The Barratt Impulsiveness Scale 11 was used to measure impulsiveness.The Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS)was used to evaluate psychopathological features and disease severity.All participants were measured with ERP while performing the CRTT.Data of behavior,ERP components(P2,N2,and P3),and feedback-related negativity(FRN)were analyzed.RESULTS Analysis of the behavioral data revealed that compared with HCs,SCZ patients exhibited higher punishment choices.Analysis of ERP components showed that compared with HCs,SCZ patients exhibited higher N2 amplitudes and P2 amplitudes during the decision phase of the CRTT;however,SCZ patients exhibited lower FRN amplitudes and lower P3 amplitudes during the outcome phase of the CRTT.The N2 amplitudes evoked by highintensity provocation were positively related to PANSS-P scores.And the P3 amplitudes evoked in the winning trials were negatively correlated with the PANSS-G scores.CONCLUSION SCZ patients exhibit abnormal ERP characteristics evoked by the CRTT,which suggests the neural correlates of aggressive behavior in SCZ.展开更多

Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED),caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV),can induce 80–100%mortality in newborn piglets;therefore,specific and rapid detection methods are important for the prevention of this vi...Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED),caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV),can induce 80–100%mortality in newborn piglets;therefore,specific and rapid detection methods are important for the prevention of this viral infection.In particular,methods for detecting neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)can be used to evaluate the immunization effect of PEDV vaccines.The spike protein of PEDV(PEDV-S)has been universally used as an antigen to develop immunoassays to detect nAbs.Nanobodies(Nbs)offer advantages such as ease of genetic engineering and low production costs,making them promising for diagnostic applications.In this study,PEDV-S was expressed via the baculovirus system and was used as an antigen to immunize Bactrian camels.A total of 10 Nbs against PEDV-S were first screened and expressed as fusion proteins with horseradish peroxidase(HRP)in HEK293T cells.A Nb-HRP fusion protein named PEDV-S-Nb13-HRP was subsequently selected and used as a probe for developing a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(cELISA)to detect anti-PEDV nAbs.Optimization assays identified 80 ng/well of PEDV-S as the optimal coating antigen concentration.The optimal dilution of PEDV-S-Nb13-HRP was 1:200,and the optimal serum dilution was 1:10.The cutoff value of cELISA was determined as 28.1%,demonstrating high specificity,repeatability,stability,and good agreement rates with two commercial ELISA kits(93.6%)and a serum neutralization test(96.34%).Additionally,the results of the detection of IgA antibodies in oral and milk samples from sows were in good agreement with those of the IDEXX PEDV IgA kit.These results demonstrate that the cELISA is a reliable and cost-effective method for detecting anti-PEDV nAbs.展开更多
Objectives:Glioma,as the most lethal primary brain malignancy with poor prognosis,requires further elucidation on the functional role of long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)DDX11 antisense RNA 1(DDX11-AS1)in its pathogenesis,de...Objectives:Glioma,as the most lethal primary brain malignancy with poor prognosis,requires further elucidation on the functional role of long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)DDX11 antisense RNA 1(DDX11-AS1)in its pathogenesis,despite its established oncogenic functions in other cancers.Therefore,this study sought to characterize the oncogenic role and molecular mechanism of DDX11-AS1 in glioma.Methods:DDX11-AS1 expression levels were analyzed in clinical surgical glioma specimens and publicly available datasets.The functional roles of DDX11-AS1 on glioma cell proliferation and migration were investigated using in vitro knockdown and overexpression assays.In vivo tumor growth was assessed using orthotopic glioma-bearing mouse models.To elucidate the regulatory axis involving DDX11-AS1,miR-1183,and E2F transcription factor 7(E2F7),we performed competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)analysis and conducted functional rescue experiments via miR-1183 inhibition.Results:DDX11-AS1 expression was markedly upregulated in clinical glioma specimens.Functionally,DDX11-AS1 knockdown significantly suppressed glioma cell proliferation and migration in vitro,while its overexpression exacerbated these malignant phenotypes.Orthotopic glioma-bearingmouse models confirmed that DDX11-AS1 drives in vivo glioma tumor growth.Mechanistically,DDX11-AS1 functions as a ceRNA by competitively interacting with miR-1183.Critically,inhibition of miR-1183 rescued the suppressive effects of DDX11-AS1 knockdown on glioma tumorigenic phenotypes and restored E2F7 expression levels.Conclusions:This study demonstrates that lncRNA DDX11-AS1 promotes glioma progression by regulating the miR-1183/E2F7 axis,indicating a potential therapeutic target for glioma.展开更多
During the excavation of deep engineering,high in situ stress is one prominent feature that often causes instability in the vicinity of underground openings.The propagation and coalescence of cracks in the surrounding...During the excavation of deep engineering,high in situ stress is one prominent feature that often causes instability in the vicinity of underground openings.The propagation and coalescence of cracks in the surrounding rock are characterized by anisotropy under a true triaxial stress state and play a crucial role in the development of stress-induced engineering disasters.Thus,a three-dimensional anisotropic fracturing model of hard rock is proposed to interpret fracturing activities and evaluate the mechanical property deterioration under complex stress conditions.This anisotropic fracturing model is derived from the evolution of microcracks and attributes the inelastic deformation of hard rock to crack propagation and coalescence.Through analyzing the competitive process of crack propagation in different orientations,the stress-induced anisotropic fracturing characteristics and the post-peak brittle-ductile transition could be revealed.Finally,the accuracy and effectiveness of this model are validated.Results show that this proposed anisotropic fracturing model can elucidate the primary characteristics observed in triaxial compression tests,which offers a fresh perspective on comprehending the failure process of hard rock.展开更多
Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV)is an emerging swine enteropathogenic coronavirus that can cause acute diarrhea and vomiting in newborn piglets and poses a potential risk for cross-species transmission.It is necessary ...Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV)is an emerging swine enteropathogenic coronavirus that can cause acute diarrhea and vomiting in newborn piglets and poses a potential risk for cross-species transmission.It is necessary to develop an effective serological diagnostic tool for the surveillance of PDCoV infection and vaccine immunity effects.In this study,we developed a monoclonal antibody-based competitive ELISA(cELISA)that selected the purified recombinant PDCoV nucleocapsid(N)protein as the coating antigen to detect PDCoV antibodies.To evaluate the diagnostic performance of the cELISA,122 swine serum samples(39 positive and 83 negative)were tested and the results were compared with an indirect immunofluorescence assay(IFA)as the reference method.By receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis,the optimum cutoff value of percent inhibition(PI)was determined to be 26.8%,which showed excellent diagnostic performance,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.9919,a diagnostic sensitivity of 97.44%and a diagnostic specificity of 96.34%.Furthermore,there was good agreement between the cELISA and virus neutralization test(VNT)for the detection of PDCoV antibodies,with a coincidence rate of 92.7%,and theκanalysis showed almost perfect agreement(κ=0.851).Overall,the established cELISA showed good diagnostic performance,including sensitivity,specificity and repeatability,and can be used for diagnostic assistance,evaluating the response to vaccination and assessing swine herd immunity.展开更多

With the rapid growth of the“Internet+Healthcare”model,pharmaceutical e-commerce has swiftly gained a substantial market share in China’s pharmaceutical retail sector,thanks to its competitive prices,convenient pur...With the rapid growth of the“Internet+Healthcare”model,pharmaceutical e-commerce has swiftly gained a substantial market share in China’s pharmaceutical retail sector,thanks to its competitive prices,convenient purchasing channels,and online consultation services.This has put considerable pressure on traditional retail chain pharmacies.This paper provides an overview of the current state of pharmaceutical e-commerce,and analyzes the main challenges faced by retail chain pharmacies,including intense price competition,changes in consumer habits,insufficient digitalization and severe homogenized competition.Drawing on industry practices and case studies,the paper proposes strategies to enhance competitiveness,such as promoting digital transformation and online-offline(O2O)integration,strengthening pharmacist services and health management capabilities,optimizing supply chain management,building differentiated brand advantages,and proactively responding to policy and regulatory requirements.The study argues that,while leveraging their advantages in specialization,community-based operations,service orientation and retail chain pharmacies,should actively embrace digitalization and industrial collaboration in order to achieve sustainable development in the context of e-commerce.This research provides theoretical references for the strategic transformation of retail chain pharmacies and offers practical significance for the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical retail industry.展开更多

文摘The differences in the competitive reactions of hydrogarnet and quicklime when reacting with titaniumcontaining and silicon-containing minerals during the Bayer digestion process were investigated.Thermodynamic analysis,artificial mineral experiments,and an evaluation of the digestion effect of natural diasporic bauxite were conducted.The results indicate that hydrogarnet shows a preferential reaction with anatase,and this preference becomes more pronounced as the silicon saturation coefficient increases.In contrast,quicklime participates in non-selective reactions with both anatase and desilication products(DSP).The preference of hydrogarnet for anatase significantly enhances the utilization efficiency of CaO in the high-temperature Bayer digestion process.

文摘Long noncoding RNA and microRNA are regulatory noncoding RNAs that are implicated in Alzheimer's disease, but the role of long noncoding RNA-associated competitive endogenous RNA has not been fully elucidated. The long noncoding RNA growth arrest-specific 5(GAS5) is a member of the 5′-terminal oligopyrimidine gene family that may be involved in neurological disorders, but its role in Alzheimer's disease remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the function of GAS5 and construct a GAS5-associated competitive endogenous RNA network comprising potential targets. RNA sequencing results showed that GAS5 was upregulated in five familial Alzheimer's disease(5×FAD) mice, APPswe/PSEN1dE9(APP/PS1) mice, Alzheimer's disease-related APPswe cells, and serum from patients with Alzheimer's disease. Functional experiments with targeted overexpression and silencing demonstrated that GAS5 played a role in cognitive dysfunction and multiple Alzheimer's disease-associated pathologies, including tau hyperphosphorylation, amyloid-beta accumulation, and neuronal apoptosis. Mechanistic studies indicated that GAS5 acted as an endogenous sponge by competing for microRNA-23b-3p(miR-23b-3p) binding to regulate its targets glycogen synthase kinase 3beta(GSK-3β) and phosphatase and tensin homologue deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN) expression in an Argonaute 2-induced RNA silencing complex(RISC)-dependent manner. GAS5 inhibited miR-23b-3p-mediated GSK-3β and PTEN cascades with a feedforward PTEN/protein kinase B(Akt)/GSK-3β linkage. Furthermore, recovery of GAS5/miR-23b-3p/GSK-3β/PTEN pathways relieved Alzheimer's disease-like symptoms in vivo, indicated by the amelioration of spatial cognition, neuronal degeneration, amyloid-beta load, and tau phosphorylation. Together, these findings suggest that GAS5 promotes Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. This study establishes the functional convergence of the GAS5/miR-23b-3p/GSK-3β/PTEN pathway on multiple pathologies, suggesting a candidate therapeutic target in Alzheimer's disease.

文摘Heterogeneous crystallization is a common occurrence during the formation of solidwastes.It leads to the encapsulation of valuable/hazardous metals within the primary phase,presenting significant challenges for waste treatment andmetal recovery.Herein,we proposed a novel method involving the in-situ formation of a competitive substrate during the precipitation of jarosite waste,which is an essential process for removing iron in zinc hydrometallurgy.We observed that the in-situ-formed competitive substrate effectively inhibits the heterogeneous crystallization of jarosite on the surface of anglesite,a lead-rich phase present in the jarositewaste.As a result,the iron content on the anglesite surface decreases from34.8%to 1.65%.The competitive substrate was identified as schwertmannite,characterized by its loose structure and large surface area.Furthermore,we have elucidated a novel mechanism underlying this inhibition of heterogeneous crystallization,which involves the local supersaturation of jarosite caused by the release of ferric and sulfate ions from the competitive substrate.The local supersaturation promotes the preferential heterogeneous crystallization of jarosite on the competitive substrate.Interestingly,during the formation of jarosite,the competitive substrate gradually vanished through a dissolution-recrystallization process following the Ostwald rule,where a metastable phase slowly transitions to a stable phase.This effectively precluded the introduction of impurities and reduced waste volume.The goal of this study is to provide fresh insights into the mechanism of heterogeneous crystallization control,and to offer practical crystallization strategies conducive to metal separation and recovery from solid waste in industries.

文摘Zwitterions(ZIs)are considered as an ideal,novel ionic conductive medium due to their high dipole moment and good solubility of lithium salts.However,the strong interactions between ZIs and Li^(+)severely hinder Li^(+)migration.Herein,a quasi-solid electrolyte(MSQSE-2Na)was fabricated by adding sodium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(NaFSI)to sulfobetaine methacrylate(SBMA,a ZI)based polymerization system.Na^(+)occupies the–SO_(3)^(-)site in SBMA prior to Li^(+),which weakens the self-crosslinking of SBMA and frees the Li^(+)bound to the polymer segments.Thus,the polymer conformation of MSQSE-2Na changes to a relaxed,homogeneous"sea-island"type.Meanwhile,Na^(+),due to its electron-withdrawing effect,decreases the electron cloud density of the polymer segments,building a weakly coordinated environment in MSQSE-2Na.Consequently,MSQSE-2Na exhibits excellent ionic conductivity of 7.38×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)and a high Li^(+)transference number of 0.632 at 25℃.The(-)Li|MSQSE-2Na|Li(+)cells exhibit super stability,sustaining operation for over 6182h.The(-)Li|MSQSE-2Na|LiFePO_(4)(+)cells demonstrate outstanding charge/discharge reversibility with a Coulombic efficiency exceeding 99.9%over 270 cycles(≈4500 h),with a capacity retention of 70.0%.This work proposes a new design concept for regulating the polymer conformation and charge characteristics through competitive coordination,thereby advancing the application of ZI-based polymer electrolytes in lithium metal batteries.

文摘Quantifying and mapping how ecosystem services impact agricultural competitiveness is crucial for attaining the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations.However,few study quantified agricultural competitiveness and mapped the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness using multiple models.In this study,multi-source data from 2000 to 2020 were utilized to establish the indicator system of agricultural competitiveness;five ecosystem services were quantified using computation models;Geographic Information System(GIS)spatial analysis was used to explore the spatial patterns of agricultural competitiveness and ecosystem services;geographic detector models were applied to investigate the effects and driving mechanisms of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.Shandong Province of China was selected as the case study area.The results demonstrated that:1)there was a significant increase in agricultural competitiveness during the study period,with high levels observed mainly in the east region of the study area.2)The spatial distribution patterns of ecosystem services and agricultural competitiveness primarily exhibited High-High and Low-Low Cluster types.3)Habitat quality emerged as the main driving factor of agricultural competitiveness in 2000 and 2020,while water yield played a substantial role in 2010.4)The coupling of two ecosystem services exerted a greater effect on agricultural competitiveness compared to individual ecosystem service.The innovations of this study are constructing an indicator system to quantify agricultural competitiveness,and exploring the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.This study proposed an indicator system to quantify agricultural competitiveness,which can be applied in other regions,and explored the effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.The findings of this study can serve as valuable insights for policymakers to formulate tailored agricultural development policies that take into account the synergistic effects of ecosystem services on agricultural competitiveness.

文摘The distribution and competitive behaviors of phosphotungstic acid and ferric chloride in the TBP-HCl-H_(2)O system were investigated by controlling the extractant concentration and the solution environment.The results revealed that phosphotungstic acid exhibited a strong affinity for TBP with decreasing TBP concentration.Higher acidity significantly improved the W extraction efficiency with TBP,and the lower Cl^(-)concentration reduced the extraction efficiency of Fe.As the organic phase approached saturation point,phosphotungstic acid competitively displaced Fe to combine with TBP.The hydrogen bond structure(P=O·HO-P-W-O)between phosphotungstic acid and TBP was characterized by FT-IR,and the salting-out effect induced by FeCl_(3) was elucidated.In summary,high acidity is beneficial for exhaustive extraction of W,and an effective W/Fe separation can be achieved by reducing the concentrations of TBP and Cl^(-).

文摘An in-depth understanding of the competition mechanism between olefins and different types of sulfides in gasoline is essential to improve the desulfurization selectivity of the adsorption desulfurization process(ADS).In this study,the competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanism of two systems,diethyl sulfide/cyclohexene and n-butyl mercaptan/cyclohexene,with different adsorption amounts in siliceous faujasite zeolite(FAU) were investigated by Monte Carlo(MC) and molecular dynamics(MD).The systems exhibited a two-stage loading-dependent competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanism,with an inflection point of 32 molecule/UC(moleculers per microcoulomb).Before the inflection point(4-32molecule/UC),the competition mechanism of the two systems was the "optimal-displacement" mechanism.After the inflection point,the mechanism of the diethyl sulfide/cyclohexene changed to "relocation-displacement",while that of the n-butyl mercaptan/cyclohexene system changed to "dominantdisplacement".Compared to ether functional groups,the alcohol functional group has higher polarity and stronger adsorption stability,thus occupying more favorable adsorption sites within the supercages(SCs),while ethyl sulfide shifts outward to other sites within other SCs.In addition,the diffusion performance of adsorbent is related to the adsorption energy.The lower the adsorption energy,the weaker the diffusion ability.Meanwhile,the diffusion performance of adsorbates is better at high temperatures and low adsorption capacity.The effect of temperatu re on the desulfu rization selectivity was determined.A lower temperature is favorable for the adsorption capacity of the two systems and the removal selectivity of sulfides.This study provides fundamental insights into the competitive adsorption and diffusion mechanisms among sulfides,mercaptans and olefins,offering theoretical guidance for adsorbent design and reaction temperature optimization.

文摘BACKGROUND The use of proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)with the intent of reducing gastric acidity to the desired therapeutic level for treating bleeding peptic ulcer still has several limitations.AIM To compare intravenous PPIs and oral potassium competitive acid blockers(PCABs)administered prior to endoscopic treatment of bleeding peptic ulcers.METHODS This retrospective study involved 105 consecutive patients with non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding(treated August 2023 to February 2024).Prior to emergency endoscopy,patients received either intravenous PPI(pantoprazole 80 mg bolus)or oral PCAB(tegoprazan 50 mg single-dose).Severity of bleeding was assessed using the Glasgow-Blatchford,Rockall,and AIMS65 scoring systems.Patients with severe comorbidities were excluded.Primary outcomes included need for therapeutic endoscopic intervention and occurrence of re-bleeding.Multivariate logistic regression was performed to adjust for potential confounding factors.RESULTS Total of the 105 patients,61 received intravenous PPI injection and 44 received oral PCAB prior to emergency endoscopy.To minimize selection bias,bleeding severity was assessed using the Glasgow-Blatchford,Rockall and AIMS65 scores,with no statistically significant differences observed between the two groups.During emergency endoscopy performed within 48 hours,ulcer bed status was classified according to the Forrest classification.The proportion of lesions graded IIa or higher was significantly lower in the PCAB group(P<0.001),as was the frequency of therapeutic endoscopy intervention(odds ratio=0.272,95%confidence interval:0.111-0.665,P=0.004).The frequency of re-bleeding events was statistically significantly higher in the PPI group(odds ratio=0.141,95%confidence interval:0.024-0.844,P=0.032).CONCLUSION Pre-endoscopic PCAB administration is more effective than PPI injection for upper gastrointestinal bleeding and may reduce ulcer bleeding mortality.

文摘BACKGROUND The neural mechanisms underlying aggressive behavior in schizophrenia(SCZ)remain poorly understood.To date,no studies have reported on the event-related potential(ERP)characteristics of aggression in SCZ using the competitive reaction time task(CRTT).Further investigation into the ERP correlates of aggression in SCZ would provide valuable insights into the neural processes involved.AIM To explore the neural mechanism of aggressive behavior in SCZ.METHODS Participants of this study included 40 SCZ patients and 42 healthy controls(HCs).The Reactive Proactive Aggression Questionnaire was used to assess trait of aggression.The Barratt Impulsiveness Scale 11 was used to measure impulsiveness.The Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS)was used to evaluate psychopathological features and disease severity.All participants were measured with ERP while performing the CRTT.Data of behavior,ERP components(P2,N2,and P3),and feedback-related negativity(FRN)were analyzed.RESULTS Analysis of the behavioral data revealed that compared with HCs,SCZ patients exhibited higher punishment choices.Analysis of ERP components showed that compared with HCs,SCZ patients exhibited higher N2 amplitudes and P2 amplitudes during the decision phase of the CRTT;however,SCZ patients exhibited lower FRN amplitudes and lower P3 amplitudes during the outcome phase of the CRTT.The N2 amplitudes evoked by highintensity provocation were positively related to PANSS-P scores.And the P3 amplitudes evoked in the winning trials were negatively correlated with the PANSS-G scores.CONCLUSION SCZ patients exhibit abnormal ERP characteristics evoked by the CRTT,which suggests the neural correlates of aggressive behavior in SCZ.

文摘Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED),caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV),can induce 80–100%mortality in newborn piglets;therefore,specific and rapid detection methods are important for the prevention of this viral infection.In particular,methods for detecting neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)can be used to evaluate the immunization effect of PEDV vaccines.The spike protein of PEDV(PEDV-S)has been universally used as an antigen to develop immunoassays to detect nAbs.Nanobodies(Nbs)offer advantages such as ease of genetic engineering and low production costs,making them promising for diagnostic applications.In this study,PEDV-S was expressed via the baculovirus system and was used as an antigen to immunize Bactrian camels.A total of 10 Nbs against PEDV-S were first screened and expressed as fusion proteins with horseradish peroxidase(HRP)in HEK293T cells.A Nb-HRP fusion protein named PEDV-S-Nb13-HRP was subsequently selected and used as a probe for developing a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(cELISA)to detect anti-PEDV nAbs.Optimization assays identified 80 ng/well of PEDV-S as the optimal coating antigen concentration.The optimal dilution of PEDV-S-Nb13-HRP was 1:200,and the optimal serum dilution was 1:10.The cutoff value of cELISA was determined as 28.1%,demonstrating high specificity,repeatability,stability,and good agreement rates with two commercial ELISA kits(93.6%)and a serum neutralization test(96.34%).Additionally,the results of the detection of IgA antibodies in oral and milk samples from sows were in good agreement with those of the IDEXX PEDV IgA kit.These results demonstrate that the cELISA is a reliable and cost-effective method for detecting anti-PEDV nAbs.

文摘Objectives:Glioma,as the most lethal primary brain malignancy with poor prognosis,requires further elucidation on the functional role of long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)DDX11 antisense RNA 1(DDX11-AS1)in its pathogenesis,despite its established oncogenic functions in other cancers.Therefore,this study sought to characterize the oncogenic role and molecular mechanism of DDX11-AS1 in glioma.Methods:DDX11-AS1 expression levels were analyzed in clinical surgical glioma specimens and publicly available datasets.The functional roles of DDX11-AS1 on glioma cell proliferation and migration were investigated using in vitro knockdown and overexpression assays.In vivo tumor growth was assessed using orthotopic glioma-bearing mouse models.To elucidate the regulatory axis involving DDX11-AS1,miR-1183,and E2F transcription factor 7(E2F7),we performed competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)analysis and conducted functional rescue experiments via miR-1183 inhibition.Results:DDX11-AS1 expression was markedly upregulated in clinical glioma specimens.Functionally,DDX11-AS1 knockdown significantly suppressed glioma cell proliferation and migration in vitro,while its overexpression exacerbated these malignant phenotypes.Orthotopic glioma-bearingmouse models confirmed that DDX11-AS1 drives in vivo glioma tumor growth.Mechanistically,DDX11-AS1 functions as a ceRNA by competitively interacting with miR-1183.Critically,inhibition of miR-1183 rescued the suppressive effects of DDX11-AS1 knockdown on glioma tumorigenic phenotypes and restored E2F7 expression levels.Conclusions:This study demonstrates that lncRNA DDX11-AS1 promotes glioma progression by regulating the miR-1183/E2F7 axis,indicating a potential therapeutic target for glioma.

文摘During the excavation of deep engineering,high in situ stress is one prominent feature that often causes instability in the vicinity of underground openings.The propagation and coalescence of cracks in the surrounding rock are characterized by anisotropy under a true triaxial stress state and play a crucial role in the development of stress-induced engineering disasters.Thus,a three-dimensional anisotropic fracturing model of hard rock is proposed to interpret fracturing activities and evaluate the mechanical property deterioration under complex stress conditions.This anisotropic fracturing model is derived from the evolution of microcracks and attributes the inelastic deformation of hard rock to crack propagation and coalescence.Through analyzing the competitive process of crack propagation in different orientations,the stress-induced anisotropic fracturing characteristics and the post-peak brittle-ductile transition could be revealed.Finally,the accuracy and effectiveness of this model are validated.Results show that this proposed anisotropic fracturing model can elucidate the primary characteristics observed in triaxial compression tests,which offers a fresh perspective on comprehending the failure process of hard rock.

文摘Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV)is an emerging swine enteropathogenic coronavirus that can cause acute diarrhea and vomiting in newborn piglets and poses a potential risk for cross-species transmission.It is necessary to develop an effective serological diagnostic tool for the surveillance of PDCoV infection and vaccine immunity effects.In this study,we developed a monoclonal antibody-based competitive ELISA(cELISA)that selected the purified recombinant PDCoV nucleocapsid(N)protein as the coating antigen to detect PDCoV antibodies.To evaluate the diagnostic performance of the cELISA,122 swine serum samples(39 positive and 83 negative)were tested and the results were compared with an indirect immunofluorescence assay(IFA)as the reference method.By receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis,the optimum cutoff value of percent inhibition(PI)was determined to be 26.8%,which showed excellent diagnostic performance,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.9919,a diagnostic sensitivity of 97.44%and a diagnostic specificity of 96.34%.Furthermore,there was good agreement between the cELISA and virus neutralization test(VNT)for the detection of PDCoV antibodies,with a coincidence rate of 92.7%,and theκanalysis showed almost perfect agreement(κ=0.851).Overall,the established cELISA showed good diagnostic performance,including sensitivity,specificity and repeatability,and can be used for diagnostic assistance,evaluating the response to vaccination and assessing swine herd immunity.
文摘As India vigorously reclaims its cost advantages in textiles,the apparel trade landscape in South Asia is set for a reshuffle,with Bangladesh,Vietnam,and China becoming key reference points in India's new competitiveness roadmap.According to India's Ministry of Textiles,the government has formulated a fourpoint action plan divided into short-term(two years),medium-term(five years),and two long-term stages.It aims to reduce production costs,enhance labor productivity,and strengthen export competitiveness in the textile sector.The plan seeks to increase India's textile and apparel exports to$100 billion by 2030,a significant leap from the$37.7 billion projected for the 2024-25 fiscal year.The trigger for this plan was the US imposition of 50%tariffs on Indian textiles earlier this year,raising concerns about India's competitiveness relative to Bangladesh,Vietnam,and China.
文摘With the rapid growth of the“Internet+Healthcare”model,pharmaceutical e-commerce has swiftly gained a substantial market share in China’s pharmaceutical retail sector,thanks to its competitive prices,convenient purchasing channels,and online consultation services.This has put considerable pressure on traditional retail chain pharmacies.This paper provides an overview of the current state of pharmaceutical e-commerce,and analyzes the main challenges faced by retail chain pharmacies,including intense price competition,changes in consumer habits,insufficient digitalization and severe homogenized competition.Drawing on industry practices and case studies,the paper proposes strategies to enhance competitiveness,such as promoting digital transformation and online-offline(O2O)integration,strengthening pharmacist services and health management capabilities,optimizing supply chain management,building differentiated brand advantages,and proactively responding to policy and regulatory requirements.The study argues that,while leveraging their advantages in specialization,community-based operations,service orientation and retail chain pharmacies,should actively embrace digitalization and industrial collaboration in order to achieve sustainable development in the context of e-commerce.This research provides theoretical references for the strategic transformation of retail chain pharmacies and offers practical significance for the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical retail industry.
文摘Rechargeable batteries have changed human daily life from electronic devices and electric transport to renewable energy systems[1-3].Especially,lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have dominated the market since their first commercialization in the 1990s,and the three pioneers(John B.Goodenough,M.Stanley Whittingham,and Akira Yoshino)in the historical development of LIBs were awarded the Novel Prize in chemistry in 2019[4].However,the imbalance between supply and demand during the past few years induced extremely huge fluctuations in lithium resources.The misgivings of lithium resources have promoted the quick development of potential alternative battery technologies.
