Product advertisement mostly benefits from the audiovisual commercials and advertisements on mass media (television, radio, newspaper, magazine, poster, brochure, Internet etc.). Today, TV, radio and Intemet are considered to have great importance among the most widely used means of mass media. Initial advertisement for each product plays a significant role in getting a bigger market share for that product. Thus, manufacturing companies need brands, taglines, catchphrases and jingles for their commercials broadcasted on mass media. Astonishing words or expressions which catch the consumers' attention play a highly significant role in commercials. Slogans which are created sometimes using melodious or rhythmical expressions, and imperatives, or sometimes slang and daily language support convincing power of the commercials. The mentioned slogans are indeed examples of creativeness. This study primarily includes the commercials, ways to produce slogans and their characteristics, together with identifying the slogans in the commercials broadcasted in Turkey and Russia, created by using language games, which include brand names. Then, aforementioned slogans will be reviewed with regards to artistic stylistics, a sub branch of functional stylistics. Finally, similar and different aspects of the language games in Turkish and Russian commercials will be compared based on the findings obtained from the analyses.展开更多

Brain researc...The term “neuromarketing” suggests a combination of marketing research and brain research. Within marketing research, objective assessment of TV commercials is performed by use of Eye-Tracking devices. Brain research has been dominated by NMRI technologies during the last years. However, information content and time resolution are much better when monitoring electric activity by spectral analysis. The current experimental approach was initiated in order to test the combination of a newly developed EEG technology (Neurocode-Tracking) with commercially available Eye-Tracking. Ten male subjects were exposed to a reference recording condition (watching a fixed cross on the screen) followed by 5 TV commercials representing 5 different banks. Video films obtained from Eye-Tracking (so-called heat maps) were synchronized with the results of Neurocode-Tracking in form of a second video with a time resolution of 364 ms per image. Spectral power analysis of the EEG in different brain regions allowed for assessment of single scenes for cognitive and emotional responses. Averaging of data over the whole time course gave information on mental activation, attention, visual perception, memory, pleasure and tension. Comparison of the 5 commercials to reference recording revealed the clip of the Targo-Bank having the highest values with respect to mental activation and attention.These experiments have proven that the combination of Neurocode-Tracking with Eye-Tracking can be successfully used in advertisement research and gives valid information on individual as well as group dependent cognitive and emotional responses leading to objective assessment of TV commercials.展开更多

Sargassum muticum is a globally distributed seaweed with high economic potential,yet its detailed nutritional composition remains undercharacterized.In this study,we analyzed the nutritional profiles of five thallus p...Sargassum muticum is a globally distributed seaweed with high economic potential,yet its detailed nutritional composition remains undercharacterized.In this study,we analyzed the nutritional profiles of five thallus portions,namely apical fronds,middle fronds,basal fronds,receptacles and air bladders,to assess their economic value accordingly.Results showed that middle fronds had the highest crude protein(31.98%)and crude fiber(7.10%)contents,indicating their suitability for protein-rich functional foods or dietary fiber supplements.Receptacles exhibited the highest levels of crude lipid(1.11%)and polyunsaturated fatty acids(123.01mg/g),suggesting potential for bioactive lipid extraction in nutraceutical applications.By contrast,basal fronds were enriched in saturated(86.41 mg/g)and monounsaturated fatty acids(38.38 mg/g).The essential amino acid index ranged from 0.74 to 0.87,and total amino acid content peaked in middle fronds(77.90 mg/g),highlighting their high protein quality.Apical fronds had the highest calcium content(15611.95 mg/kg),and receptacles contained the highest phosphorus content(1224.45 mg/kg),supporting targeted mineral supplementation.The maximum concentrations of all trace elements were found in receptacles,reinforcing their pharmaceutical potential.This study provides foundational data on the nutrient composition of different thallus parts of S.muticum,which may support future research and potential utilization efforts in China.展开更多

Demonstrating significant achievements in efficiency,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have acquired unique positions in photovoltaics,offering alternatives to conventional commercial silicon solar cells.While there has bee...Demonstrating significant achievements in efficiency,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have acquired unique positions in photovoltaics,offering alternatives to conventional commercial silicon solar cells.While there has been significant progress in enhancing photovoltaic performance,obvious stability problems remain a primary challenge that continues to hinder the commercial viability of PSCs.This present review first comprehensively discusses the main challenges to the commercialization of PSCs,including stability problems,ion migration,toxicity,and complexities in large-scale fabrication.It then effectively presents universal strategies to overcome the mentioned problems.Moreover,this review article examines various printing techniques that can be used to improve PSCs,emphasizing their benefits like low-cost components and procedures.Several printing processes are covered in the discussion,such as slot-die coating,spray coating,inkjet printing,doctor-blade coating,roll-to-roll printing,and screen printing.The potential uses of PSCs for the implementation of greenhouses,building-integrated photovoltaic systems,and indoor light energy harvesting.These uses highlight the adaptability of PSCs and demonstrate their ability to transform energy production technologies.Additionally,this review highlights the special qualities of perovskite materials that present chances to surpass silicon solar cells'efficiency restrictions and get close to the Shockley-Queisser limit.In conclusion,the current review provides a brief overview of recent developments,existing challenges,and opportunities of PSCs.It provides a thorough understanding of the merits of highly efficient PSCs fabricated by adopting printing methods to tackle stability problems along with facile fabrication of PSCs using simplified and cost-effective strategies.展开更多
The rapid proliferation of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)has revolutionized fields such as precision agriculture and disaster response.However,their heavy reliance on GPS navigation leaves them highly vulne...The rapid proliferation of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)has revolutionized fields such as precision agriculture and disaster response.However,their heavy reliance on GPS navigation leaves them highly vulnerable to spoofing attacks,with potentially severe consequences.To mitigate this threat,we present a machine learning-driven framework for real-time GPS spoofing detection,designed with a balance of detection accuracy and computational efficiency.Our work is distinguished by the creation of a comprehensive dataset of 10,000 instances that integrates both simulated and real-world data,enabling robust and generalizable model development.A comprehensive evaluation ofmultiple classification algorithms identifies XGBoost as the superior performer,achieving 93.07% accuracy alongside outstanding precision,recall,and F1-scores.Beyond standard classification metrics,our assessment encompasses ROC-AUC,detection latency,and false positive rate,providing a comprehensive assessment of performance.This work contributes to UAV security by providing a robust and reproducible solution for detecting GPS spoofing attacks,supported by a detailed methodology,a comprehensive evaluation including inference-time latency,and a publicly available dataset.展开更多

Owing to the outstanding optoelectronic properties of perovskite materials,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been widely studied by academic organizations and industry corporations,with great potential to become the ne...Owing to the outstanding optoelectronic properties of perovskite materials,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been widely studied by academic organizations and industry corporations,with great potential to become the next-generation commercial solar cells.However,critical challenges remain in preserving high efficiency practical large-scale commercialized PSCs:a)the long-term stability of the cell materials and devices,b)lead leakage,and c)methods to scale the cells for larger area applications.This paper summarizes the prior-art strategies to address the above challenges,including the latest studies on the traditional glass-glass and thin-film encapsulation methods to better improve the reliability of PSCs,new technologies for preventing lead leakage,and geometric improvement strategies to enhance the reliability,efficiency,and performance of perovskite solar modules(PSMs).Through these strategies,the device achieved enhanced performance in long-term stability tests.The encapsulation resulted in a high lead leakage inhibition rate of up to 99%,and the PSMs possessed a geometric fill factor of 99.6%and a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.7%.The dramatic improvement of efficiency and reliability of perovskite solar cells and modules indicate the great potential for mass production and commer-cialization of perovskite solar applications in the near future.展开更多

文摘Sargassum muticum is a globally distributed seaweed with high economic potential,yet its detailed nutritional composition remains undercharacterized.In this study,we analyzed the nutritional profiles of five thallus portions,namely apical fronds,middle fronds,basal fronds,receptacles and air bladders,to assess their economic value accordingly.Results showed that middle fronds had the highest crude protein(31.98%)and crude fiber(7.10%)contents,indicating their suitability for protein-rich functional foods or dietary fiber supplements.Receptacles exhibited the highest levels of crude lipid(1.11%)and polyunsaturated fatty acids(123.01mg/g),suggesting potential for bioactive lipid extraction in nutraceutical applications.By contrast,basal fronds were enriched in saturated(86.41 mg/g)and monounsaturated fatty acids(38.38 mg/g).The essential amino acid index ranged from 0.74 to 0.87,and total amino acid content peaked in middle fronds(77.90 mg/g),highlighting their high protein quality.Apical fronds had the highest calcium content(15611.95 mg/kg),and receptacles contained the highest phosphorus content(1224.45 mg/kg),supporting targeted mineral supplementation.The maximum concentrations of all trace elements were found in receptacles,reinforcing their pharmaceutical potential.This study provides foundational data on the nutrient composition of different thallus parts of S.muticum,which may support future research and potential utilization efforts in China.

文摘Reforestation initiatives are often limited by insufficient seeds,a problem exacerbated by natural variability in tree flowering and seed production and climate change and other environmental challenges.Innovative and adaptive solutions such as in vitro propagation are thus needed.Tissue culture can provide high-quality propagation material for tree conservation and mass propagation,but faces technical,economic,regulatory,and social barriers.Obstacles related to the academia-industry interface and to stakeholder concerns are discussed and actions suggested to overcome these barriers to realize the full potential of tree micropropagation.These include refining techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs;establishing collaborations among researchers,industry,and foresters;and reducing points of contention and misinformation regarding genetic diversity and public perception.International collaborative initiatives,exemplified by the EU COST Action CA21157 COPYTREE,are elementary for achieving these goals.

文摘Demonstrating significant achievements in efficiency,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have acquired unique positions in photovoltaics,offering alternatives to conventional commercial silicon solar cells.While there has been significant progress in enhancing photovoltaic performance,obvious stability problems remain a primary challenge that continues to hinder the commercial viability of PSCs.This present review first comprehensively discusses the main challenges to the commercialization of PSCs,including stability problems,ion migration,toxicity,and complexities in large-scale fabrication.It then effectively presents universal strategies to overcome the mentioned problems.Moreover,this review article examines various printing techniques that can be used to improve PSCs,emphasizing their benefits like low-cost components and procedures.Several printing processes are covered in the discussion,such as slot-die coating,spray coating,inkjet printing,doctor-blade coating,roll-to-roll printing,and screen printing.The potential uses of PSCs for the implementation of greenhouses,building-integrated photovoltaic systems,and indoor light energy harvesting.These uses highlight the adaptability of PSCs and demonstrate their ability to transform energy production technologies.Additionally,this review highlights the special qualities of perovskite materials that present chances to surpass silicon solar cells'efficiency restrictions and get close to the Shockley-Queisser limit.In conclusion,the current review provides a brief overview of recent developments,existing challenges,and opportunities of PSCs.It provides a thorough understanding of the merits of highly efficient PSCs fabricated by adopting printing methods to tackle stability problems along with facile fabrication of PSCs using simplified and cost-effective strategies.
文摘The rapid proliferation of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)has revolutionized fields such as precision agriculture and disaster response.However,their heavy reliance on GPS navigation leaves them highly vulnerable to spoofing attacks,with potentially severe consequences.To mitigate this threat,we present a machine learning-driven framework for real-time GPS spoofing detection,designed with a balance of detection accuracy and computational efficiency.Our work is distinguished by the creation of a comprehensive dataset of 10,000 instances that integrates both simulated and real-world data,enabling robust and generalizable model development.A comprehensive evaluation ofmultiple classification algorithms identifies XGBoost as the superior performer,achieving 93.07% accuracy alongside outstanding precision,recall,and F1-scores.Beyond standard classification metrics,our assessment encompasses ROC-AUC,detection latency,and false positive rate,providing a comprehensive assessment of performance.This work contributes to UAV security by providing a robust and reproducible solution for detecting GPS spoofing attacks,supported by a detailed methodology,a comprehensive evaluation including inference-time latency,and a publicly available dataset.

文摘The efficiency of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has progressed rapidly,exceeding 26%for single-junction devices and surpassing 34%in perovskite-silicon tandem configurations,establishing PSCs as a promising alternative to traditional photovoltaic technologies.However,their commercialization is constrained by significant stability challenges in outdoor environments.This review critically examines key cell-level issues affecting the long-term performance and reliability of PSCs,focusing on instabilities arising from the intrinsic phases of the perovskite absorber and external stress factors.Mitigation strategies to enhance stability are discussed,alongside recent advancements in charge transport layers,electrodes,and interfaces aimed at reducing environmental degradation and improving energy level alignment for efficient charge extraction.The importance of accelerated aging tests and the establishment of standardized protocols is underscored for accurately predicting device lifetimes and identifying failure mechanisms,thereby ensuring stability under real-world conditions.Furthermore,a comprehensive techno-economic analysis evaluates how advancements in materials and strategic innovations influence efficiency,durability,and cost,which are critical for the commercial adoption of PSCs.This review delineates the essential steps required to transition PSC technology from laboratory-scale research to widespread commercialization within the global photovoltaic industry.

文摘Owing to the outstanding optoelectronic properties of perovskite materials,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been widely studied by academic organizations and industry corporations,with great potential to become the next-generation commercial solar cells.However,critical challenges remain in preserving high efficiency practical large-scale commercialized PSCs:a)the long-term stability of the cell materials and devices,b)lead leakage,and c)methods to scale the cells for larger area applications.This paper summarizes the prior-art strategies to address the above challenges,including the latest studies on the traditional glass-glass and thin-film encapsulation methods to better improve the reliability of PSCs,new technologies for preventing lead leakage,and geometric improvement strategies to enhance the reliability,efficiency,and performance of perovskite solar modules(PSMs).Through these strategies,the device achieved enhanced performance in long-term stability tests.The encapsulation resulted in a high lead leakage inhibition rate of up to 99%,and the PSMs possessed a geometric fill factor of 99.6%and a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.7%.The dramatic improvement of efficiency and reliability of perovskite solar cells and modules indicate the great potential for mass production and commer-cialization of perovskite solar applications in the near future.

文摘Lonicera japonica(honeysuckle)is a traditional Chinese medicinal food,in which the main active ingredients are phenolic acids,polysaccharides,flavonoids,and volatile oils.They have various biological activities,including antiviral,antibacterial,antioxidant,hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering,and anti-inflammatory effects.This review summarizes the health effects and pharmacodynamic mechanisms of L.japonica extracts and the major active ingredients in these extracts,and the structures,metabolic process in vivo,and biotransformation processes of these compounds.In addition,the current status of the development of L.japonica-related functional foods is summarized.The aim is to provide a theoretical basis and reference for the further development and use of the active ingredients in L.japonica as functional foods for disease prevention and treatment.

文摘Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS)and hydroformylation are pivotal chemical processes for converting syngas and olefins into valuable hydrocarbons and chemicals.Recent advancements in catalyst design,reaction mechanisms,and process optimization have significantly improved the efficiency,selectivity,and sustainability of these processes.This Account introduces the relevant research activities in the Research Center for Catalysis in Syngas Conversion and Fine Chemicals(DNL0805)of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics(DICP),Chinese Academy of Sciences.The reactions of interests include FTS,heterogeneous hydroformylation of olefins,alcohol dehydration and oxidation,andα-olefin polymerization,with the emphasis on developing innovative catalysts and processes to address the challenges of traditional processes.Exemplified by the discovery of robust Co-Co_(2)C/AC for FTS and Rh_(1)/POPs-PPh_(3) for heterogeneous hydroformylation of olefins,it demonstrates how lab-scale fundamental understandings on the active sites of catalysts leads to pilot-plant scale-up and finally commercial technologies.Perspectives on the challenges and directions for future developments in these exciting fields are provided.
