Feature modeling of weld workpiece is discussed.which provides complete geometric information and process information for off-line programming.The system provides powerful tools for programming of torch orientation to meet the requirents of achieving good welding quality,avoiding collision and not violating kinematics constraints.展开更多

ZD--MCADII’s product data is managed by an object--oriented database management system OSCAR, and the product model is built according to the standard STEP. The product design is established on a unified product model, and all the product data are globally associated in ZD--MCADII. ZD--MCADII provides various design features to facilitate the product design, and supports the integrity of CAD, CAPP and CAM.展开更多

The experience of failure and success during the process of development is a revelation and reference for the design of a fault diagnosis system. This paper focuses on its function of directing to the design of a fault diagnosis system in terms of the flexibility of the system, the human's importance in the system, and the design of a distributed system. In view of the tendency of CIMS and FMS, the article also states the principle that the new fault diagnosis system should be improved by enhancing hardware in software, remote Internet service, and sustainable development.展开更多
