Little is known about the function of CEACAM8 in gastric cancer. In order to solve this problem, this study used UALCAN, Kaplan-Meier Plotter and metascape databases to study the role of CEACAM8 in the prognosis of gastric cancer. It was found that the overexpression of CEACAM8 was significantly correlated with the clinical tumor stage and pathological tumor grade of gastric cancer patients. In addition, high expression of CEACAM8 mRNA was significantly associated with shorter overall survival (OS) in patients with gastric cancer. Overall, CEACAM8 may be a prognostic biomarker for survival in patients with gastric cancer.展开更多
