This paper discusses the digital application and benefit analysis of building information model(BIM)technology in the large-scale comprehensive development project of the Guangxi headquarters base.The project covers a...This paper discusses the digital application and benefit analysis of building information model(BIM)technology in the large-scale comprehensive development project of the Guangxi headquarters base.The project covers a total area of 92,100 square meters,with a total construction area of 379,700 square meters,including a variety of architectural forms.Through three-dimensional modeling and simulation analysis,BIM technology significantly enhances the design quality and efficiency,shortens the design cycle by about 20%,and promotes the collaboration and integration of project management,improving the management efficiency by about 25%.During the construction phase,the collision detection and four-dimensional visual management functions of BIM technology have improved construction efficiency by about 15%and saved the cost by about 10%.In addition,BIM technology has promoted green building and sustainable development,achieved the dual improvement of technical and economic indicators and social and economic benefits,set an example for enterprises in digital transformation,and opened up new market businesses.展开更多

The fallout from leaking buildings has estimated to have cost the country billions of dollars in lost production and expensive repair. The social impact on those caught up in the leaking home issue has been considerable; with often heart rending tales of stress and financial hardship. This paper will explore the initiatives taken by the building industry and the government since the issue became a major public concern. Salt-cavern underground gas storage is technically faced with non-uniform distribution of stratified salt rocks,complex solution mining mechanism,difficult control of solution mining process,less operation safety and ...Salt-cavern underground gas storage is technically faced with non-uniform distribution of stratified salt rocks,complex solution mining mechanism,difficult control of solution mining process,less operation safety and stability of caverns and difficult reconstruction and utilization of old caverns.In view of these technical difficulties,the design concept was fully updated based on the design experience and field practice of Jintan gas storage in Jiangsu,for purpose of maximizing salt layer utilization ratio,improving solution mining efficiency,shortening construction time and ensuring cavity safety.Based on the updated design concept,five series of key technologies were proposed in site evaluation,cavern design and control,stability assessment and storage capacity parameter design,old cavern screening and utilization,and gas storage operation and monitoring.The following results were obtained from the actual application of these key technologies to the Jintan gas storage.First,the actual drilling coincidence rate of geological program is high.Second,the cavern is morphologically coincident with the design.Third,the cavern deformation retract rate is in line with the stability evaluation result.Fourth,old caverns are successfully reconstructed and utilized.Fifth,the arrangement of the monitoring network ensures the operation safety of salt-cavern underground gas storage and makes an important contribution to the peak shaving and supply guarantee of natural gas in the Yangtze River Delta region.In conclusion,the research results provide guidance for the design and engineering implementation of salt-cavern underground gas storage construction program,as well as a theoretical and technical support for the construction of similar gas storages.展开更多

These materials are the following recycled plastics: Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), recycled out of discarded soft drink packs: Polyethylene-terephthalate (PET), recycled out of discarded soft drink bottles; and several plastics, from the printed films used like packages of candies (remainder of production plant by faults in the thickness of the films or in the inked process of themt. These conveniently grounded plastics were taken as "arids" to be mixed with Normal Portland cement, replacing heavy sand and gravel habitually used in these mixtures. These materials are used in constructive elements such as bricks, blocks and plates for economical houses closures or traditional construction. The developed constructive elements offer high thermal insulation, so they can be used in closures with a smaller thickness than conventional bricks and blocks. Besides, they have a lower specific weight than these traditiunal constructive elements. Recycling means lowering costs, making part of the environment contaminating waste useful and providing the unemployed and/or unqualified work force with jobs through uncomplicated technologies. Therefore, this recycling technology has an economic as well as an ecological purpose.展开更多
