A new term - 'relative permeability number' (RPN) was firstly defined, and then used to describe the degree of water block. Imbibition process simulations show that the RPN drops in accordance with the extension of the averaged pore throat radius from 0.05 to 1.5 μm, and yet once beyond that point of 1.5 μm, the RPN reaches a higher value, indicating the existence of a critical pore throat radius where water block is the maximum. When the wettability of the samples changes from water-wet to weakly water-wet, weakly gas-wet, or gas(oil)-wet, the gas RPN increases consistently, but this consistency is disturbed by the RPN dropping for weakly water-wet samples for water saturations less than 0.4, which means weakly waterwet media are more easily water blocked than water-wet systems. In the situation where the initial water saturation exceeds 0.05, water block escalates along with an increase in initial water saturation.展开更多

With the help of the perturbed inverse scattering transform method, nonlinear parameter equations can be derived to describe the evolution of the dipole soliton amplitude, frequency, group velocity and phase under the forcing of localized synoptic-scale eddies. The numerical solutions of these equations predict that in the interaction between the weak dipole soliton (weak incipient dipole anomaly) and the synoptic-scale eddies, only when the high-frequency eddies themselves have a moderate parameter match they can near resonantly enhance a quasi-stationary large-amplitude split flow. The instantaneous total streamfunction field (the sum of background westerly wind, envelope Rossby soliton and synoptic-scale waves) is found to be very similar to the observed Berggren-type blocking on the weather map(Berggren et al. 1949). The role of synoptic-scale eddies is to increase the amplitude of large-scale dipole anomaly flow, and to decrease its group velocity, phase velocity and zonal wavenumber so that the dipole anomaly system can be amplified and transferred from dispersive system to very weak dispersive one. This may explain why and how the synoptic-scale eddies can reinforce and maintain vortex pair block. Furthermore, it is clearly found that during the prevalence of the vortex pair block the synoptic-scale eddies are split into two branches around the vortex pair block due to the feedback of amplified dipole block. Because the location, size, shape and intensity of brain tumors vary greatly, itis very difficult to segment these brain tumor regions automatically. In this paper, by combining the advantagesof DenseNet and ResNet, we proposed a new 3D U-Net with dense encoder blocks and residual decoder blocks. We used dense blocks in the encoder part and residual blocks in the decoder part. The number of output featuremaps increases with the network layers in contracting path of encoder, which is consistent with the characteristicsof dense blocks. Using dense blocks can decrease the number of network parameters, deepen network layers, strengthen feature propagation, alleviate vanishing-gradient and enlarge receptive fields. The residual blockswere used in the decoder to replace the convolution neural block of original U-Net, which made the networkperformance better. Our proposed approach was trained and validated on the BraTS2019 training and validationdata set. We obtained dice scores of 0.901, 0.815 and 0.766 for whole tumor, tumor core and enhancing tumorcore respectively on the BraTS2019 validation data set. Our method has the better performance than the original3D U-Net. The results of our experiment demonstrate that compared with some state-of-the-art methods, ourapproach is a competitive automatic brain tumor segmentation method.展开更多

It is shown that the superposition of initial three Rossby waves for zonal wavenumbers 1 (monopole), 2 (dipole), and 3 (monopole), which permit triad quasi-resonance, can represent an incipient blocking event. The synoptic-scale eddies may act to amplify the incipient blocking and to excite a blocking circulation with a strong meander, whose flow pattern depends on the initial amplitudes of the planetary waves and both the intensity and location of preexisting synoptic-scale waves. The onset (decay) of the planetary-scale split-flow blocking is mainly represented by a strong increase (decrease) in the amplitude of the zonal wavenumber 2 component, having a dipole meridional structure related to the preexisting synoptic-scale eddies. The typical persistence time of the model blocking was of about 20 days, consistent with observations of blocking patterns. In our model, isolated asymmetric dipole blocking is formed by synoptic-scale waves. The instantaneous fields of total streamfunctions exhibit a remarkable resemblance to the synoptic maps observed during the life cycle of blocking. During the onset stage, the synoptic-scale waves are enhanced and split into two branches around the blocking region due to the feedback of the amplified blocking, in agreement with the observed changes of synoptic-scale waves in real blocking events. In addition, a diagnostic case study of blocking is presented to confirm the forced quasi-resonant triad interaction theory proposed here.展开更多

In this paper, which deals mainly with the latter, the fundamental concepts and definitions of network blocking flow, blocking outset are presented and the related theorems are proved. It is proved that the sufficient and necessary condition for the emergence of a blocking now in a network is the existence of the blocking outset. The necessary conditions for the existence of the blocking outset in a network are analysed and the characteristic cutset of blockage which reflects the all possible situation of blocking nows in the network is defined. In the last part of the paper the mathematical model of the minimum blocking now is developed and the solution to a small network is given.展开更多

Due to the limitation of its local search ability of genetic algorithm (GA) in solving a massive combinatorial optimization problem, simulated annealing (SA) is combined, the multi-parameter concatenated coding is adopted, and the memory function is added. Thus a hybrid genetic-simulated annealing with memory function is formed. Examples show that the modified algorithm can improve the local search ability in the solution space, and the solution quality.展开更多

We studied the 2008 event and compared with composite analysis (winters of 2002/2003, 200412005, 200612007, 200712008, 201012011 and 2011/2012), when the downward coupling was stronger, by employing time-lagged singular value decomposition analysis on the geopotential height field. In the Northern Hemisphere, the geopo- tential fields were decomposed into zonal mean and wave components to compare the relative covariance patterns. It was found that the wavenumber 1 (WN1) component was dominant compared with the wavenumber 2 (WN2) component and zonal mean process. For the WNI field, the covariance was much higher (lower) for the negative (positive) lag, with a prominent peak around +15 days when the leading stratosphere coupled strongly with the troposphere. It contributed to the downward coupling due to reflection, when the stratosphere exhibited a partially reflective background state. We also analyzed the evolution of the WNI anomaly and heat flux anomaly, both in the troposphere and stratosphere, during January- March 2008. The amplitude of the tropospheric WN 1 pattern reached a maximum and was consistent with a downward wave coupling event influenced by the stratospheric WN1 anomaly at 10 hPa. This was consistent with the reflection of the WN1 component over Eurasia, which triggered an anomalous blocking high in the Urals-Siberia region. We further clarified the impact of reflection on the tropospheric WNI field and hence the tropospheric circulation pattern by changing the propagation direction during and after the event.展开更多

The word ANNMG simply means Artificial Neural Network Model integrated with Geostatiscs, In this procedure, the Artificial Neural Network was trained, tested and validated using assay values obtained from exploratory drillholes. Next, the validated model was used to generalize mineral grades at known and unknown sampled locations inside the drilling region respectively. Finally, the reproduced and generalized assay values were combined and fed to geostatistics in order to develop a geological 3D block model. The regression analysis revealed that the predicted sample grades were in close proximity to the actual sample grades, The generalized grades from the ANNMG show that this process could be used to complement exploration activities thereby reducing drilling requirement. It could also be an effective mineral reserve evaluation method that could oroduce optimum block model for mine design.展开更多

First, α,ω-dihydroxylterminated PCL and PE telechelics were synthesized via the ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone and the ring-opening metathesis polymerization of cyclooctene followed by hydrogenation of polycyclooctene. Both α,ω-ditriethoxylsilane-terminated PCL and PE telechelics were obtained via in situ reaction of α,ω-dihydroxyl-terminated PCL and PE telechelics with 3-isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane. The formation of networks was evidenced by the solubility and rheological tests. It was found that the block copolymer networks were microphase-separated. The PCL and PE blocks still preserved the crystallinity. Owing to the formation of crosslinked networks, the materials displayed shape memory properties. More importantly, the combination of PCL with PE resulted that the block copolymer networks had the triple shape memory properties, which can be triggered with the melting and crystallization of PCL and PE blocks. The results reported in this work demonstrated that triple shape memory polymers could be prepared via the formation of block copolymer networks.展开更多

Meanwhile, it also affects the formation of Fe–C alloy blocking layer, which determines the length and installation position of induction coil. An experimental platform was designed to imitate actual working conditions in a ladle with the EICAST system. Ambient temperature of induction coil under high-temperature condition was measured to verify the accuracy of numerical result. After containing molten steel for 120 min and steel teeming for 40 min, the ambient temperature on the upper side of induction coil is 791 °C. In addition, the position of blocking layer in a 110 t ladle was measured by sand-collection and steel-pour methods, and the criterion temperatures of blocking layer in numerical simulation process were corrected. When the refining temperature is1600 °C and the containing time of molten steel is 120 min, the thickness of blocking layer is 130 mm, and the distance between the upper surface of blocking layer and the upper surface of nozzle brick is 154 mm. When the criterion temperatures are 919 °C and 428 °C, the numerical results can be used to confirm the position of blocking layer and the installation position of induction coil.展开更多

A new term - 'relative permeability number' (RPN) was firstly defined, and then used to describe the degree of water block. In the situation where the initial water saturation exceeds 0.05, water block escalates along with an increase in initial water saturation.

文摘This paper proposes a Linkage Learning Genetic Algorithm(LLGA)based on the messy Genetic Algorithm(mGA)to optimize the Min-Max fuel controller performance in Gas Turbine Engine(GTE).For this purpose,a GTE fuel controller Simulink model based on the Min-Max selection strategy is firstly built. Then, the objective function that considers both performance indices(response time and fuel consumption)and penalty items(fluctuation, tracking error, overspeed and acceleration/deceleration)is established to quantify the controller performance.Next, the task to optimize the fuel controller is converted to find the optimization gains combination that could minimize the objective function while satisfying constraints and limitations. In order to reduce the optimization time and to avoid trapping in the local optimums, two kinds of building block detection methods including lower fitness value method and bigger fitness value change method are proposed to determine the most important bits which have more contribution on fitness value of the chromosomes. Then the procedures to apply LLGA in controller gains tuning are specified stepwise and the optimization results in runway condition are depicted subsequently. Finally, the comparison is made between the LLGA and the simple GA in GTE controller optimization to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The results show that the LLGA method can get better solution than simple GA within the same iterations or optimization time. The extension applications of the LLGA method in other flight conditions and the complete flight mission simulation will be carried out in partⅡ.

文摘The main task of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) automatic brain tumor segmentation is to automaticallysegment the brain tumor edema, peritumoral edema, endoscopic core, enhancing tumor core and nonenhancingtumor core from 3D MR images. The results of our experiment demonstrate that compared with some state-of-the-art methods, ourapproach is a competitive automatic brain tumor segmentation method.

文摘In this paper, a new transient forced quasi-resonant triad interaction theory in a beta channel is proposed to investigate the interaction between planetary-scale diffluent flow composed of zonal wavenumbers 1-3 and synoptic-scale waves produced continuously by a synoptic-scale vorticity source fixed upstream of an incipient blocking region during the life cycle of blocking. In addition, a diagnostic case study of blocking is presented to confirm the forced quasi-resonant triad interaction theory proposed here.

文摘As one of the pivotal Gondwana-derived blocks, the kinematic history of the northern Qiangtang Block(in the Tibetan Plateau)remains unclear, mainly because quantitative paleomagnetic data to determine the paleoposition are sparse. Thus, for this study,we collected 226 samples(17 sites)from Triassic sedimentary rocks in the Raggyorcaka and Tuotuohe areas of the northern Qiangtang Block(NQB).Stepwise demagnetization isolated high temperature/field components from the samples. Both Early and Late Triassic datasets passed field tests at a 99%confidence level and were proved to be primary origins.Paleopoles were calculated to be at 24.9°N and 216.5°E with A95=8.2°(N=8)for the Early Triassic dataset, and at 68.1 N,179.9 E with A(95)=5.6°(N=37)for the Late Triassic, the latter being combined with a coeval volcanic dataset published previously. These paleopoles correspond to paleolatitudes of14.3°S±8.2°and 29.9 N15.6°,respectively.Combining previously published results,we reconstructed a three-stage northward drift process for the NQB.(1)The northern Qiangtang Block was located in the subtropical part of the southern hemisphere until the Early Triassic;(2)thereafter,the block rapidly drifted northward from southern to northern hemispheres during the Triassic;and(3)the block converged with the Eurasian continent in the Late Triassic.The^4800 km northward movement from the Early to Late Triassic corresponded to an average motion rate of^11.85 cm/yr.The rapid drift of the NQB after the Early Triassic led to a rapid transformation of the Tethys Ocean.
文摘Blockage is a kind of phenomenon occurring frequently in modern transportation network. This paper deals with the research work on the blocking now in a network with the help of network flow theory. The blockage phenomena can be divided intO local blockage and network blockage. In the last part of the paper the mathematical model of the minimum blocking now is developed and the solution to a small network is given.

文摘This paper establishes a mathematical model of multi-objective optimization with behavior constraints in solid space based on the problem of optimal design of hydraulic manifold blocks (HMB). Examples show that the modified algorithm can improve the local search ability in the solution space, and the solution quality.

文摘Planetary wave reflection from the stratosphere played a significant role in changing the tropospheric circulation pattern over Eurasia in mid-January 2008. We further clarified the impact of reflection on the tropospheric WNI field and hence the tropospheric circulation pattern by changing the propagation direction during and after the event.

文摘The synergistic relationship between urban functions and street networks has al-ways been a focus in the field of urban research and practice. From the perspective of street networks,by adopting space syntax, this study analyzed the deep structural characteristics and potential evolution rules of commercial blocks attached to street networks in different periods,as well as the corresponding economic, political, and cultural characteristics of an-cient Beijing city over the past 800 years.By combining these with changes in the street network,we further explained the function mechanism of layout and level adjustment in commercial blocks, and the influence of the street network on commercial blocks in the process of historical change. The main conclusions included the following:(1)The urban centripetal-centrifugal siphon effect:the layout form, topological structure, and traffic mode changes in the street network had corresponding guidance for the layout and hierarchical system of commercial blocks, while the centripetal development of the street network could guide the agglomeration effect of commercial blocks, although centrifugal development caused commercial blocks to display outward evacuation.(2)Stage transformation from mu-tation node to smooth development:the layout of commercial blocks came to depend on the ability to cross the commuting flow center, which originally relied on the accessibility of transportation nodes as local centers.Changes in traffic modes mainly affected the adjust-ment of the first-level commercial blocks, which easily led to overall layout mutation.Traffic levels have an obvious positive hierarchical relation with the second-and third-level com-mercial blocks.(3)The adaptation of traditional commercial blocks to the needs of a modern city:affected by the different emerging times and unevenness of the original commercial foundation, commercial blocks have formed various developmental models that meet the needs of modernization, and reach a balance between cultural continuity and functional ad-aptation.

文摘In this research, a method called ANNMG is presented to integrate Artificial Neural Networks and Geostatistics for optimum mineral reserve evaluation. It could also be an effective mineral reserve evaluation method that could oroduce optimum block model for mine design.

文摘Many studies focus on mineralization of huge magnetite ore deposits and petrogenesis of their large-volume host rocks. However, magma generation of those small-scale intrusions with enrichment of magnetite is poorly reported and paid attention to.We here carry out an integrated study of magnetite chemistry,U-Pb zircon dating, geochemistry, and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes for the magnetite-rich intermediate-mafic rocks from the Helishan pluton in the southwestern Alxa Block,Northwest China. This, together with several previously reported magnetite/iron-rich intrusions nearby,is capable of providing some constraints on magma generation of magnetite/iron-rich intrusive rocks. The Helishan pluton, dated at ca.290 Ma,consists of hornblende gabbro, diorite, and quartz monzodiorite with~3%-5%magnetite in all the lithologies.Study on magnetite chemistry manifests a magmatic origin for them. All the lithologies display high TFeO/MgO ratio (1.71-1.89),weakly fractionated REE patterns((La/Yb)_(N)=1.82-10.17),enrichment of Rb,Sr,and Pb,and depletion of high field strength elements. They have (^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i) values of 0.705 2 to 0.705 8,ε_(Nd)(t) values of+0.03 to+0.64,and zircon ε_(Hf)(t) values of +6.5 to+12.0.We propose that they were derived from partial melting of iron-rich metasomatized lithospheric mantle. The systematic variations of Sr/Y ratios and Nd-Hf isotopic compositions with time for the Paleozoic igneous rocks at the southwestern Alxa Block indicate ever existence of thinning and rebirth of lithospheric mantle. This geodynamic process could be the potential mechanism to give rise to the iron-rich signature of the reborn mantle sources of the Helishan pluton. For intermediatemafic intrusions at subduction zones, they are unlikely to form considerable magnetite ore deposits since their modest magmatic flux and early fractional crystallization of magnetite at a high oxygen fugacity and H_(2)O condition.

文摘In this contribution, we reported a novel synthesis of block copolymer networks composed of poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) and polyethylene(PE) via the co-hydrolysis and condensation of α,ω-ditriethoxylsilane-terminated PCL and PE telechelics. The results reported in this work demonstrated that triple shape memory polymers could be prepared via the formation of block copolymer networks.
文摘Deep learning technology is widely used in computer vision.Generally,a large amount of data is used to train the model weights in deep learning,so as to obtain a model with higher accuracy. However, massive data and complex model structures require more calculating resources.Since people generally can only carry and use mobile and portable devices in application scenarios, neural networks have limitations in terms of calculating resources, size and power consumption. Therefore, the efficient lightweight model MobileNet is used as the basic network in this study for optimization.First, the accuracy of the MobileNet model is improved by adding methods such as the convolutional block attention module(CBAM)and expansion convolution. Then, the MobileNet model is compressed by using pruning and weight quantization algorithms based on weight size.Afterwards, methods such as Python crawlers and data augmentation are employed to create a garbage classification data set.Based on the above model optimization strategy, the garbage classification mobile terminal application is deployed on mobile phones and raspberry pies, realizing completing the garbage classification task more conveniently.

文摘Ambient temperature of induction coil is an important factor to influence the implementation of the electromagnetic induction-controlled automated steel-teeming(EICAST) technology. When the criterion temperatures are 919 °C and 428 °C, the numerical results can be used to confirm the position of blocking layer and the installation position of induction coil.
