文摘[Objective]Vegetation restoration is an effective strategy for ecological improvement;however, inappropriate vegetation establishment can induce soil desiccation, thereby threatening ecosystem stability. Therefore, elucidating the global response patterns of soil moisture to vegetation restoration and identifying research hotspots are critical for guiding ecological construction in arid regions.[Methods]We reviewed 6,152 articles concerning soil moisture and vegetation retrieved from the Web of Science platform.Using VOSviewer,we conducted analyses of keyword co-occurrence,publication trends, and research hotspots to systematically delineate the evolving trends in this field.[Results]The results indicate a significant increasing trend in the number of publications since 2000.Global research keywords are categorized into seven clusters, including vegetation, soil moisture,rainfall-erosion-infiltration,spatial heterogeneity, and climate change. In terms of highly cited papers in 2024,China and the United States maintain a significant lead.Global research demonstrates a strong dependency on typical regional geographical features(such as climate types and topography),exhibiting differentiated research focuses.Furthermore, studies extend beyond soil moisture itself to deeply couple with ecological processes such as vegetation restoration, soil respiration, carbon cycling, and hydrothermal conditions.[Conclusions]The long-term ecological effects of afforestation in arid regions remain unclear, and empirical data from key regions highlight the current urgency.Future research should integrate climate change dynamics, innovate monitoring methodologies, and deepen the understanding of regional differentiation to provide scientific support for the adaptive management of vegetation in arid regions.

文摘Glaucoma,a degenerative optic neuropathy, causes retinal ganglion cell(RGC)apoptosis and irreversible vision loss.Current therapies often fail to stop disease progression despite lowering intraocular pressure, the main risk factor. Thus, neuroprotective strategies have gained interest. We performed a bibliometric analysis to determine global publishing trends and relationships among prolific authors, publications, institutions, funding agencies, and journals. We also analyzed author keywords to identify research hotspots in glaucoma neuroprotection.Further, based on keyword analysis,we reviewed most recent literature to understand mechanistic pathways underlying glaucomarelated pathophysiological responses leading to RGC loss.Bibliographic data were sourced from Scopus.Basic bibliographic features were characterized using Scopus’s functions.VOSviewer was used for mapping and visualizing bibliometric networks. The analysis included trends in publications since 2000,the most prolific countries, institutions, authors, and the strength of their linkages.A significant increase in publication output over the past two decades was noted. The United States leads in funding support, research output, and citation links, followed by China and the UK.Among the top 10 most cited authors, three are from Japanese institutions.Keyword analysis shows a focus on molecular targets related to ischemia, excitotoxicity, inflammation, and oxidative stress, with fewer emerging drug candidates and limited clinical trials.Based on the most recent literature, emerging molecular targets underlying these key pathophysiological mechanisms are summarized. In conclusion, while pathophysiology and molecular mechanisms are the current focus, there is not much progress in developing new drug candidates and conducting clinical trials.

文摘Accurate estimation of evapotranspiration(ET)is crucial for efficient water resource management, particularly in the face of climate change and increasing water scarcity. This study performs a bibliometric analysis of 352 articles and a systematic review of 35 peer-reviewed papers, selected according to PRISMA guidelines,to evaluate the performance of Hybrid Artificial Neural Networks(HANNs)in ET estimation. The findings demonstrate that HANNs,particularly those combining Multilayer Perceptrons(MLPs),Recurrent Neural Networks(RNNs),and Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs),are highly effective in capturing the complex nonlinear relationships and tem-poral dependencies characteristic of hydrological processes. These hybrid models, often integrated with optimization algorithms and fuzzy logic frameworks, significantly improve the predictive accuracy and generalization capabilities of ET estimation. The growing adoption of advanced evaluation metrics, such as Kling-Gupta Efficiency(KGE)and Taylor Diagrams, highlights the increasing demand for more robust performance assessments beyond traditional methods.Despite the promising results, challenges remain, particularly regarding model interpretability, computational efficiency, and data scarcity.Future research should prioritize the integration of interpretability techniques, such as attention mechanisms,Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations(LIME),and feature importance analysis,to enhance model transparency and foster stakeholder trust.Additionally, improving HANN models’scalability and computational efficiency is crucial, especially for large-scale,real-world applications.Approaches such as transfer learning, parallel processing, and hyperparameter optimization will be essential in overcoming these challenges. This study underscores the transformative potential of HANN models for precise ET estimation, particularly in water-scarce and climate-vulnerable regions.By integrating CNNs for automatic feature extraction and leveraging hybrid architectures,HANNs offer considerable advantages for optimizing water management, particularly agriculture.Addressing challenges related to interpretability and scalability will be vital to ensuring the widespread deployment and operational success of HANNs in global water resource management.

文摘BACKGROUND Immunotherapy has surfaced as a promising therapeutic modality for gastric cancer(GC).A comprehensive review of advancements, current status, and research trends in GC immunotherapy is essential to inform future investigative efforts.AIM To delineate the trends, advancements, and focal points in immunotherapy for GC.METHODS We performed a bibliometric analysis of 2906 articles in English concerning GC immunotherapy published from 2000 to December 20,2023,indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection.Data analysis and visualization were facilitated by CiteSpace(6.1.6R),VOSviewer v.1.6.17,and GraphPad Prism v8.0.2.RESULTS There has been an increase in the annual publication rate of GC immunotherapy research.China leads in publication volume, while the United States demonstrates the highest citation impact.Fudan University is notable for its citation frequency and publication output.Co-citation analysis and keyword frequency revealed and highlighted a focus on GC prognosis, the tumor microenvironment(TME),and integrative immunotherapy with targeted therapy.Emerging research areas include gastroesophageal junction cancer, adoptive immunotherapy, and the role of Treg cell in immunotherapy.CONCLUSION GC immunotherapy research is an expanding field attracting considerable scientific interest. With the clinical adoption of immunotherapy in GC,the primary goals are to enhance treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.Unlike hematological malignancies,GC's solid TME presents distinct immunological challenges that may attenuate the cytotoxic effects of immune cells on cancer cells. For instance, although CAR-T therapy is effective in hematological malignancies,it has underperformed in GC settings.Current research is centered on overcoming immunosuppression within the TME,with a focus on combinations of targeted therapy, adoptive immunotherapy,Treg cell dynamics, and precise prognosis prediction in immunotherapy.Additionally, immunotherapy's role in treating gastroesophageal junction cancer has become a novel research focus.
