文摘BACKGROUND Gastrointestinal endoscopy has been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.A great many of studies on gastrointestinal endoscopy have been done.AIM To analyze the characteristics of top 100 cited articles on gastrointestinal endoscopy.METHODS A bibliometric analysis was conducted. The publications and their features were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection,Science Citation Index-Expanded database.Excel,Web of Science database and SPSS software were used to perform the statistical description and analysis.VOSviewer software and Map-Chart were responsible for the visualizations.RESULTS The top 100 cited articles were published between 1976 and 2022.The guidelines(52%)and clinical trials(37%)are the main article types, and average publication year of the guidelines is much later than that of the clinical trials(2015 vs 1998).Among the clinical trials, diagnostic study(27.0%),cohort study(21.6%),case series(13.5%)and cross-sectional study(10.8%)account for a large proportion.Average citations of different study types and designs of the enrolled studies are of no significant differences. Most of the 100 articles were published by European authors and recorded by the endoscopic journals(65%).Top journals in medicine, such as the Lancet,New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA,also reported studies in this field. The hot spots of involved diseases include neoplasm or cancer-related diseases, inflammatory diseases, obstructive diseases, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and ulcer.Endoscopic surgery, endoscopic therapy and stent placement are frequently studied.CONCLUSION Our research contributes to delineating the field and identifying the characteristics of the most highly cited articles. It is noteworthy that there is a significantly smaller number of clinical trials included compared to guidelines, indicating potential areas for future high-quality clinical trials.
文摘Accurate estimation of evapotranspiration(ET)is crucial for efficient water resource management, particularly in the face of climate change and increasing water scarcity. This study performs a bibliometric analysis of 352 articles and a systematic review of 35 peer-reviewed papers, selected according to PRISMA guidelines,to evaluate the performance of Hybrid Artificial Neural Networks(HANNs)in ET estimation. The findings demonstrate that HANNs,particularly those combining Multilayer Perceptrons(MLPs),Recurrent Neural Networks(RNNs),and Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs),are highly effective in capturing the complex nonlinear relationships and tem-poral dependencies characteristic of hydrological processes. These hybrid models, often integrated with optimization algorithms and fuzzy logic frameworks, significantly improve the predictive accuracy and generalization capabilities of ET estimation. The growing adoption of advanced evaluation metrics, such as Kling-Gupta Efficiency(KGE)and Taylor Diagrams, highlights the increasing demand for more robust performance assessments beyond traditional methods.Despite the promising results, challenges remain, particularly regarding model interpretability, computational efficiency, and data scarcity.Future research should prioritize the integration of interpretability techniques, such as attention mechanisms,Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations(LIME),and feature importance analysis,to enhance model transparency and foster stakeholder trust.Additionally, improving HANN models’scalability and computational efficiency is crucial, especially for large-scale,real-world applications.Approaches such as transfer learning, parallel processing, and hyperparameter optimization will be essential in overcoming these challenges. This study underscores the transformative potential of HANN models for precise ET estimation, particularly in water-scarce and climate-vulnerable regions.By integrating CNNs for automatic feature extraction and leveraging hybrid architectures,HANNs offer considerable advantages for optimizing water management, particularly agriculture.Addressing challenges related to interpretability and scalability will be vital to ensuring the widespread deployment and operational success of HANNs in global water resource management.

文摘Methane contributes to global warming, and livestock is one of the sources of methane production. However, methane emission studies using bibliometric tools in livestock are lacking.Given the negative impact of climate change on the ecosystem and the rise in methane emissions,it is essential to conduct a bibliometrics study to provide an overview and research trends. We used the Bibliometrix package and VOSviewer to decipher bibliometric indices for methane emissions in cattle farms(MECF).Current dataset were collected from the Web of Science(Core Collection)database, and 8,998 publications were analyzed. The most co-occurring keywords scientists preferred were methane(1,528),greenhouse gas(443),methane emissions(440),and cattle(369).Methane was the most frequently used keyword in the published scientific literature.Thematic evolution of research themes and trend results highlighted carbon dioxide, methane, dairy cattle, cattle, and risk factors during 1999–2017.Chinese Academy of Sciences ranked on top with 485 publications, followed by Agriculture&Agri-Food Canada,University of Colorado,National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Aarhus University.Chinese Academy of Sciences was also the most cited organization, followed by the University of Colorado,Agriculture&Agri-Food Canada,National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and United States Geological Survey.Source analysis showed that the Science of the Total Environment was cited with the highest total link strength.Science of the Total Environment ranked first in source core 1 with 290 citation frequencies, followed by Journal of Dairy Science with 223 citation frequencies.Currently,no bibliometric study has been conducted on MECF,and to fill this knowledge gap,we carried out this study to highlight methane emissions in cattle farms, aiming at a climate change perspective. In this regard,we focused on the research productivity of countries authors, journals and institutions,co-occurrence of keywords, evolution of research trends, and collaborative networking.Based on relevance degree of centrality, methane emissions and greenhouse gases appeared as basic themes, cattle, and dairy cattle appeared as emerging/declining themes, whereas, methane, greenhouse gas and nitrous oxide appeared to fall amongst basic and motor themes. On the other hand, beef cattle, rumen and dairy cow seem to be between motor and niche themes, and risk factors lie in niche themes. The present bibliometric analysis provides research progress on methane emissions in cattle farms.Current findings may provide a framework for understanding research trends and themes in MECF research.
