Methods: 76 elderly patients with schizophrenia were selected and divided into conventional nursing control group (n = 38) and parallel nursing intervention group (n = 38) according to random number table method, and the nursing effect was compared. Results: there was no significant difference in BPRS scores between the two groups before intervention (P > 0.05). After intervention, BPRS scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: clinical nursing intervention can improve the mental state and nursing satisfaction of elderly patients with schizophrenia.展开更多
