The BOPPPS model has been widely used in information-based teaching reform,which emphasizes studentcentered principles and student participation and interaction,including six steps:bridge-in,objective,pre-assessment,participatory learning,post-assessment,and summary.This paper applies the BOPPPS model in the Integrated English course at the three stages of teaching practice-before class,during class,and after class-to achieve blended teaching.It shows that this teaching mode provides students with a more abundant learning experience,helps to stimulate students’learning interests,and improves their comprehensive language application skills. 展开更多

Guided by the"Healthy China 2030"strategy,improving national nutrition and health literacy has become a core task in public health system development.The National Nutrition Plan(2017-2030)explicitly calls for"strengthening the training of nutrition talents"and"promoting nutrition science education".As a key vehicle for this mission,the Food Nutrition and Health course in higher education urgently needs to address bottlenecks in traditional teaching,such as low knowledge application and transfer rates,insufficient student engagement,and ineffective guidance on healthy behaviors.The BOPPPS teaching model,with its structured design(Bridge-in,Objective,Pre-assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-assessment,Summary),effectively promotes the internalization of nutritional knowledge and the transformation into healthy behaviors among students by emphasizing practice-oriented teaching activities.In this study,focusing on this course,an in-depth exploration of curriculum teaching design was conducted based on the BOPPPS instructional model,aiming to deeply integrate the strategic objectives of Healthy China into the curriculum,and promote the transformation of nutritional knowledge into healthy decision-making ability.This study provides new insights for food and nutrition education. 展开更多

With the continuous advancement of new engineering education,the course of Robot Programming and Application,as a core course in the field of intelligent manufacturing,has an urgent need for teaching reform.This study focuses on the application practice of a blended teaching model based on the Learning Pass platform and the BOPPPS teaching model in this course.By constructing a teaching system covering"pre-class autonomous learning,in-class interactive exploration,and post-class extension and improvement",and deeply integrating the six key links of the BOPPPS model,this study has achieved comprehensive optimization in teaching methods,teaching content,and teaching evaluation.The practical results show that th e application of this blended teaching model can effectively break through the time and space limitations of traditional classr ooms,enabling students to learn anytime and anywhere in fragmented time,and promoting interaction and communication between teachers and students.This has a significant promoting effect on stimulating students'learning initiative and improving tea ching quality,and is highly feasible.In addition,this blended teaching model has performed outstandingly in significantly enhanc ing students'learning interest and practical ability,providing a valuable reference and inspiration for the teaching reform of related courses under the background of new engineering education. 展开更多

Surgery of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is a core course within the TCM curriculum and an indispensable clinical discipline for all medical students transitioning to professional practice.With the deepening of curriculum reforms,the integrated teaching model has proven effective in helping students master basic theories and clinical skills.Among various teaching models,the Bridge-in,Learning Objectives,Pre-Assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-Assessment,and Summary(BOPPPS)model combined with Problem-Based Learning has gained widespread recognition and application.However,its application in TCM surgery education remains limited.This paper integrates the BOPPPS and problem-based learning(PBL)teaching models into the TCM surgery classroom,using eczema as a case study.This teaching design encompasses six elements:bridge-in,learning objectives,pre-assessment,participatory learning based on Problem-Based Learning,post-assessment,and summary.Potential challenges during the teaching process are also examined to enhance students’clinical critical thinking abilities,improve the quality of classroom teaching,and further cultivate high-quality TCM professionals through the application of the BOPPPS-PBL model. 展开更多

This study investigated the effectiveness of the BOPPPS teaching model in improving English reading skills among junior high school students in Fujian Province,China.Using a quasi-experimental design,102 ninth-grade students from two classes participated:an experimental group(n=51)taught with BOPPPS for 12 weeks(12 sessions)and a control group(*n=51)receiving traditional instruction.The A2 Key for Schools test measured reading ability pre-and post-intervention.Data analysis(independent/paired t-tests,ANCOVA)revealed that students in the BOPPPS group showed significantly greater improvement in English reading ability compared to the control group.The findings indicate the BOPPPS model is well-suited for developing junior high English reading curricula to enhance student proficiency. 展开更多

Objective:To study the application effect of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in clinical anesthesia practice.Method:48 students assigned to clinical anesthesia in digestive endoscopy of Shanxi Bethune Hospital from July 1,2022 to April 1,2023 were selected as research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group(PowerPoint presentation teaching group)and the observation group(short video combined with BOPPPS teaching group),with 24 students in each group.After the internship,the students’theoretical and technical scores were tested,the effects of the two teaching modes were compared,and the students’satisfaction was investigated.Results:The test scores of students in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode can significantly improve students’learning interest,operation skills,and memory(P<0.05).The students’satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In clinical practice,the application of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode has achieved great effect,which is worth further promotion and research. 展开更多
