Traditional facial beautification methods only focus on the color of skin and deformation and do the transfo...This paper proposes a new facial beautification method using facial rejuvenation based on the age evolution. Traditional facial beautification methods only focus on the color of skin and deformation and do the transformation based on an experimental standard of beauty. Our method achieves the beauty effect by making facial image looks younger, which is different from traditional methods and is more reasonable than them. Firstly, we decompose the image into different layers and get a detail layer. Secondly, we get an age-related parameter： the standard deviation of the Gaussian distribution that the detail layer follows, and the support vector machine （SVM） regression is used to fit a function about the age and the standard deviation. Thirdly, we use this function to estimate the age of input image and generate a new detail layer with a new standard deviation which is calculated by decreasing the age. Lastly, we combine the original layers and the new detail layer to get a new face image. Experimental results show that this algo- rithm can make facial image become more beautiful by facial rejuvenation. The proposed method opens up a new way about facial beautification, and there are great potentials for applications.展开更多

During its millennium of development,the ancient Shu Road system fostered a unique post station culture.In the Qin and Han dynasties,various postal service facilities,termed you,ting,yi,zhi,and si,emerged along the Ba...During its millennium of development,the ancient Shu Road system fostered a unique post station culture.In the Qin and Han dynasties,various postal service facilities,termed you,ting,yi,zhi,and si,emerged along the Baoxie Road,an important segment of the Shu Road system.In the Tang Dynasty,a dense network of post stations was built along the Shu Road.It was during this period that the post stations gained refined names on a substantial scale.Their names were based on the landscapes,resources,histories,and geographical locations of their sites,all of which displayed the characteristics of local gazetteers.During the Tang and Song dynasties,the post stations became large-scale facilities with well-established functions and beautiful environments.The Shu Road post station culture was carried forward in the Ming and Qing dynasties.However,due to frequent warfare and destruction,the Shu Road post station culture was on a declining trajectory during this period.Additionally,the means of transportation exhibited characteristics that varied with time to adapt to the terrain features of the Shu Road system.During the Qin and Han dynasties,transportation was primarily achieved by courier and horse relays.During the Three Kingdoms period,Zhuge Liang devised wooden oxen and gliding horses to transport military supplies and provisions.In the Tang Dynasty,the administration of horses saw remarkable progress,and horses became the primary means of transportation,supplemented by mail coaches.From the Song to the Ming and Qing dynasties,horses,donkeys,and sedans all served as transportation,reflecting the diversity of transportation means in the later periods of imperial China.展开更多

It is a combined cosmetic and preventive medicine to intervene with and to correct the undesirable phenotypic expression of aging. The intrinsic properties of myoblasts and foreskin fibroblasts in development and regeneration are harnessed to formulate a genetic cell therapy program which is safe and efficacious as previously been tested in FDA Phase III clinical trials. Myoblasts are selected for strength development and foreskin fibroblasts for tenacity and smooth-to-the-touch. Both cell types are highly mitotic and non-carcinogenic. In additional to providing large quantities of nuclei as regenerative gene medicine, and of mitochondria as energy generators, myoblasts secret tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) for skin whitening and melanoma prevention. Myoblasts, because of their small size, spindle shape, and resilience, grow readily on collagen and laminin within wrinkles of skin surfaces, thus enhancing the color, luster, and texture of the skin “plated” with them. Alternatively, they can be injected subcutaneously as cell filler to reduce wrinkles. Intramuscular injection of myoblasts can augment the size, shape, consistency, tone, and strength of muscle groups, improving the lines, contours, and vitality to sculpt a youthful appearance.
