The gate assignment at an airport is one of the major activities in airport operations.With the increase of passenger traffic volumes and the number of flights, the complexity of this task and the factors to be considered have increased significantly, and an efficient gate utilizationhas received considerable attention. For overcoming the shortcomings of previous gate assignmentapproaches, this paper presents a partial parallel gate assignment approach, by which more factorsconcerning aircraft and gates can be collsidered at the same time. This paper also presents themethod of using a knowledge-based system combined with a mathematical programming method forgetting an optimized feasible assignment solution. By this way, it is more easily to get the solutionthat satisfies both the static and dynamic situations,and thus it may adapt well to meet the needsof actual use to rea-time operations. An experimental prototype has been implemented, and a casestudy is presented at the end of the paper. 展开更多

Do Community-Based Programs Help to Improve HIV Treatment and Health Outcomes? A Review of the Literature

Increased availability of antiretroviral treatment for HIV makes the goal of universal access attainable. However, in most resource constrained settings where existing health systems are?largely dysfunctional, major barriers to achieving this goal remain. While treatments with antiretroviral drugs (ART) are the focal point of HIV management, it is increasingly recognized that ART alone will not be sufficient to adequately deal with the lifelong consequences of the disease. In addition, the current global economic downturn will continue to impact on funding for HIV care and support, making the search for sustainable solutions more urgent. This article reviews the current evidence base on the impact of community-based programs on HIV/AIDS treatment and general health outcomes, as well as their contribution to ensuring sustained care for HIV-positive people. Our findings suggest that these programs overall have a positive impact on various dimensions of HIV treatment and care, and make a significant contribution to health and HIV outcomes. The authors argue that better use of community platforms for HIV treatment and care programs could be critical for attaining desired goals and should be prioritized at all levels of program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. 展开更多

Although effective school-based alcohol prevention programs do exist, the overall efficacy of these programs has been compromised by implementation failure. The CLIMATE Schools: Alcohol Module was developed to overcome some of the obstacles to high fidelity program implementation. This paper details this development of the CLIMATE Schools: Alcohol Module. The development involved two stages, both of which were considered essential. The first stage, involved reviewing the literature to ensure the program was based on the most effecttive pedagogy and health promotion practice and the second stage involved collaborating with teachers, students and specialists in the area of alcohol and other drugs, to ensure these goals were realised. The final CLIMATE Schools: Alcohol Module consists of computer-driven harm minimisation program which is based on a social influence approach. The program consists of six lessons, each with two components. The first component involves students completing an interactive computer-based program, with the second consisting of a variety of individual, small group and class-based activities. This program was developed to provide an innovative new platform for the delivery of drug education and has proven to be both feasible and effective in the school environment. The success of this program is considered to be testament to this collaborative development approach. 展开更多

Tai Chi is a cost-effective strategy for preventing falls in older adults. Many senior centers have introduced Tai Chi programs to increase mobility and decrease the risk of falls. However, the practice has yet to be widely disseminated to ethnic minorities who are not culturally connected to Tai Chi. This paper describes implementation barriers and recruitment and retention challenges of Arab American participants in a Tai Chi intervention-based health promotion program, including issues related to community organization and staffing, recruitment and retention, need for building relationships, need for translation and interpreters, and cultural barriers & misconceptions. Understanding and paying adequate attention to these challenges may help facilitate in planning other health promotion interventions targeting Arab American population. 展开更多

Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate participants’ experiences of a web based program for mental health care staff, including its potential clinical relevance. Methods: Nineteen participants participated in five focus groups. Data was analyzed using content analysis. Results: The analysis showed participants’ experiences of the program’s contents and format (“Web Based Modules”, “Discussion Groups”) and practical value (“Clinical Relevance and Use”, “Effects on Communication and Climate”). Conclusions: The program partly increased awareness about risk factors and the importance of inquiring about suicide ideation/plans and documenting suicide assessments. Experiences of the clinical value were varying and may be increased through potential enhancements. 展开更多

Securities Regulatory Commission from various countries has also attached great importance to the detection and prevention of securities fraud activities. Securities fraud is also increasing due to the rapid expansion of securities market in China. In accomplishing the task of securities fraud detection, China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) could be facilitated in their work by using a number of data mining techniques. In this paper, we investigate the usefulness of Logistic regression model, Neural Networks (NNs), Sequential minimal optimization (SMO), Radial Basis Function (RBF) networks, Bayesian networks and Grammar Based Genet- ic Programming (GBGP) in the classification of the real, large and latest China Corporate Securities Fraud (CCSF) database. The six data mining techniques are compared in terms of their performances. As a result, we found GBGP outperforms others. This paper describes the GBGP in detail in solving the CCSF problem. In addition, the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) is applied to generate synthetic minority class examples for the imbalanced CCSF dataset. 展开更多

Inference of General Mass Action-Based State Equations for Oscillatory Biochemical Reaction Systems Using <i>k</i>-Step Genetic Programming 被引量:1

Systems biology requires the development of algorithms that use omics data to infer interaction networks among biomolecules working within an organism. One major type of evolutionary algorithm, genetic programming (GP), is useful for its high heuristic ability as a search method for obtaining suitable solutions expressed as tree structures. However, because GP determines the values of parameters such as coefficients by random values, it is difficult to apply in the inference of state equations that describe oscillatory biochemical reaction systems with high nonlinearity. Accordingly, in this study, we propose a new GP procedure called “k-step GP” intended for inferring the state equations of oscillatory biochemical reaction systems. The k-step GP procedure consists of two algorithms: 1) Parameter optimization using the modified Powell method—after genetic operations such as crossover and mutation, the values of parameters such as coefficients are optimized by applying the modified Powell method with secondary convergence. 2) GP using divided learning data—to improve the inference efficiency, imposes perturbations through the addition of learning data at various intervals and adaptations to these changes result in state equations with higher fitness. We are confident that k-step GP is an algorithm that is particularly well suited to inferring state equations for oscillatory biochemical reaction systems and contributes to solving inverse problems in systems biology. 展开更多

In this practicum, the program objective is to improve the health of Joseph’s Storehouse food bank recipients’ community in the Blessing Center (New Hope Free Clinic and Joseph’s food bank), Redlands, California. The approach is to implement primary prevention and secondary prevention activity to increase knowledge and skills of the clients and their families of how to prevent and control type 2 diabetes through a wellness program in the clinic. The practicum began January 2015 and ended April 2015. 53 food bank recipients (non-diabetic and diabetic) were recruited. A quasi-experimental study design, pre-test/posttest, was used for the study. The impact of the program targeted diverse audience, high risk ethnic groups, and improved knowledge, awareness, management, and positive behavioral change. The study implication for public health promotion specialists is to narrow venues targeting the most vulnerable populations to promote and reduce type 2 diabetes. 展开更多

中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案的构建与初步应用

目的:构建中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案并评价其初步应用效果。方法:提取并分析肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动相关文献,结合焦点小组访谈,了解中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动干预需求,形成中青年早期肺... 目的:构建中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案并评价其初步应用效果。方法:提取并分析肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动相关文献,结合焦点小组访谈,了解中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动干预需求,形成中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案初稿,并按照TIDieR干预模板进行报告;后经2轮德尔菲专家咨询对方案初稿进行修订完善,形成中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案终稿。招募2023年9月—10月在苏州市某三级甲等医院胸外科住院并计划行肺癌切除术的中青年早期肺癌病人50例并随机分为对照组及试验组。对照组病人采用常规出院指导,试验组病人在常规出院指导基础上接受形成的中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案,比较两组病人干预前和干预8周后的体力活动水平、身体功能、不良事件发生率,并收集试验组病人的干预依从性以及病人对干预方案的接受情况。结果:2轮函询问卷的有效回收率均为100%,第2轮专家权威系数为0.86,肯德尔和谐系数为0.337(均P<0.001),变异系数为0.00~0.11;构建的中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案终稿包含12个模块、25项内容。本研究最终共招募中青年早期肺癌病人38例(排除12例),其中对照组及试验组各19例。初步应用结果显示,干预8周后,试验组病人的体力活动水平和身体功能高于对照组(P<0.05);两组病人在干预中均无不良事件发生,且试验组病人的干预依从性较好,病人对方案的接受度较高。结论:构建的中青年早期肺癌术后病人居家康复期体力活动方案具有科学性及实用性,有助于提高病人居家康复期体力活动水平和身体功能,且病人对方案的接受度较高,方案具有较好的适用性。 展开更多

目的探讨案例导向教学法(CBL)和团队导向教学法(TBL)在临床医学八年制医学生影像学见习中的教学效果。方法研究对象为2024年7月至2025年2月在北京协和医学院临床见习阶段参加医学影像学巡诊课程的89名临床医学八年制医学生,针对各器官... 目的探讨案例导向教学法(CBL)和团队导向教学法(TBL)在临床医学八年制医学生影像学见习中的教学效果。方法研究对象为2024年7月至2025年2月在北京协和医学院临床见习阶段参加医学影像学巡诊课程的89名临床医学八年制医学生,针对各器官系统开展8次影像教学课程(共24学时)。学生被随机分为对照组(传统教学)和实验组(CBL与TBL结合教学),每次课后通过问卷统计学生的学习成果及自我满意度情况。结果问卷调查显示,实验组学生在临床思维和逻辑分析能力提升、学习反馈等多方面均显著优于对照组(P<0.05),而且参与课堂展示比单纯听讲更有助于提升知识的掌握程度,调动学习兴趣与主动性(P<0.05)。结论CBL与TBL相结合的教学方法能提升八年制医学生的临床分析能力和教学满意度,具备一定推广潜力。 展开更多
