Pulpotomy,which belongs to vital pulp therapy,has become a strategy for managing pulpitis in recent decades.This minimally invasive treatment reflects the recognition of preserving healthy dental pulp and optimizing l...Pulpotomy,which belongs to vital pulp therapy,has become a strategy for managing pulpitis in recent decades.This minimally invasive treatment reflects the recognition of preserving healthy dental pulp and optimizing long-term patient-centered outcomes.Pulpotomy is categorized into partial pulpotomy(PP),the removal of a partial segment of the coronal pulp tissue,and full pulpotomy(FP),the removal of whole coronal pulp,which is followed by applying the biomaterials onto the remaining pulp tissue and ultimately restoring the tooth.Procedural decisions for the amount of pulp tissue removal or retention depend on the diagnostic of pulp vitality,the overall treatment plan,the patient’s general health status,and pulp inflammation reassessment during operation.This statement represents the consensus of an expert committee convened by the Society of Cariology and Endodontics,Chinese Stomatological Association.It addresses the current evidence to support the application of pulpotomy as a potential alternative to root canal treatment(RCT)on mature permanent teeth with pulpitis from a biological basis,the development of capping biomaterial,and the diagnostic considerations to evidence-based medicine.This expert statement intends to provide a clinical protocol of pulpotomy,which facilitates practitioners in choosing the optimal procedure and increasing their confidence in this rapidly evolving field.展开更多
To study the influence of silicon(Si)on 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane(CL-20),NC/CL-20 composite explosives and Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosives were prepared by the electrostatic spraying ...To study the influence of silicon(Si)on 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane(CL-20),NC/CL-20 composite explosives and Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosives were prepared by the electrostatic spraying method.The morphology,structure and thermal decomposition properties of the samples were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray energy spectroscopy(EDS),infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),and simultaneous thermal analyzer(TG-DSC).Additionally,the combustion process of the samples was tested using a high-speed camera.The results show that the addition of nano-Si contributes to the formation of composite explosives with regular morphology and smaller particle size.The Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosive has better and more uniform sphericity,with an average particle size of 73.4 nm,compared to the NC/CL-20 composite explosive.The Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosive which produced by the electrostatic spraying method,achieves physically uniform distribution of the components including NC,CL-20,Si.The addition of Si promotes the thermal decomposition of CL-20.In comparison to the NC/CL-20 composite explosive,the activation energy of the Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosive decreases by 16.78 kJ/mol,and the self-accelerated decomposition temperature and the critical temperature of thermal explosion decreases by 3.12 K and 2.61 K,respectively.Furthermore,Si/NC/CL-20 composite explosive has shorter ignition delay time and faster combustion rate compared to the NC/CL-20 composite explosive,which shows that Si can improve the combustion performance of CL-20.展开更多

This study introduces a lightweight deep learning model and a novel synthetic dataset designed to restore damaged one-dimensional(1D)barcodes and Quick Response(QR)codes,addressing critical challenges in logistics ope...This study introduces a lightweight deep learning model and a novel synthetic dataset designed to restore damaged one-dimensional(1D)barcodes and Quick Response(QR)codes,addressing critical challenges in logistics operations.The proposed solution leverages an efficient Pix2Pix-based framework,a type of conditional Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)optimized for image-to-image translation tasks,enabling the recovery of degraded barcodes and QR codes with minimal computational overhead.A core contribution of this work is the development of a synthetic dataset that simulates realistic damage scenarios frequently encountered in logistics environments,such as low contrast,misalignment,physical wear,and environmental interference.By training on this diverse and realistic dataset,the model demonstrates exceptional performance in restoring readability and decoding accuracy.The lightweight architecture,featuring a U-Net-based encoder-decoder with separable convolutions,ensures computational efficiency,making the approach suitable for real-time deployment on embedded and resource-constrained devices commonly used in logistics systems.Experimental results reveal significant improvements:QR code decoding ratios increased from 14%to 99%on training data and from 15%to 68%on validation data,while 1D barcode decoding ratios improved from 7%to 73%on training data and from 9%to 44%on validation data.By providing a robust,resource-efficient solution for restoring damaged barcodes and QR codes,this study offers practical advancements for enhancing the reliability of automated scanning systems in logistics operations,particularly under challenging conditions.展开更多

Objective:To explore the obstructive factors in the behavior of medical staff during the implementation of respiratory rehabilitation process,and to provide a basis for the rehabilitation management intervention of CO...Objective:To explore the obstructive factors in the behavior of medical staff during the implementation of respiratory rehabilitation process,and to provide a basis for the rehabilitation management intervention of COPD.Methods:A descriptive nature research method was adopted.An interview outline was formulated based on the theoretical domain framework.From October to December 2024,15 medical staff from the respiratory department of a tertiary hospital in Shaanxi Province were selected for semi-structured interviews.The interview data were analyzed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Result:The analysis of this study found that the obstructive factors for medical staff to implement respiratory rehabilitation include five theoretical domains.The problems are respectively the lack of knowledge about respiratory rehabilitation and insufficient training intensity,the insufficient self-recognition of implementing respiratory rehabilitation,the low awareness rate of patients and the low cooperation degree,the insufficient provision of instruments and facilities,the lack of rehabilitation training venues and respiratory rehabilitation clinics,and the lack of scientific and standardized respiratory rehabilitation management processes.Conclusion:There are many obstructive factors affecting the implementation of respiratory rehabilitation by medical staff.Clinical managers should take corresponding measures,continuously improve the rehabilitation management strategies for COPD,and promote the clinical application of the best evidence for respiratory rehabilitation.展开更多

Purpose:This research addresses the challenge of concept drift in AI-enabled software,particularly within autonomous vehicle systems where concept drift in object recognition(like pedestrian detection)can lead to misc...Purpose:This research addresses the challenge of concept drift in AI-enabled software,particularly within autonomous vehicle systems where concept drift in object recognition(like pedestrian detection)can lead to misclassifications and safety risks.This study introduces a proactive framework to detect early signs of domain-specific concept drift by leveraging domain analysis and natural language processing techniques.This method is designed to help maintain the relevance of domain knowledge and prevent potential failures in AI systems due to evolving concept definitions.Design/methodology/approach:The proposed framework integrates natural language processing and image analysis to continuously update and monitor key domain concepts against evolving external data sources,such as social media and news.By identifying terms and features closely associated with core concepts,the system anticipates and flags significant changes.This was tested in the automotive domain on the pedestrian concept,where the framework was evaluated for its capacity to detect shifts in the recognition of pedestrians,particularly during events like Halloween and specific car accidents.Findings:The framework demonstrated an ability to detect shifts in the domain concept of pedestrians,as evidenced by contextual changes around major events.While it successfully identified pedestrian-related drift,the system’s accuracy varied when overlapping with larger social events.The results indicate the model’s potential to foresee relevant shifts before they impact autonomous systems,although further refinement is needed to handle high-impact concurrent events.Research limitations:This study focused on detecting concept drift in the pedestrian domain within autonomous vehicles,with results varying across domains.To assess generalizability,we tested the framework for airplane-related incidents and demonstrated adaptability.However,unpredictable events and data biases from social media and news may obscure domain-specific drifts.Further evaluation across diverse applications is needed to enhance robustness in evolving AI environments.Practical implications:The proactive detection of concept drift has significant implications for AI-driven domains,especially in safety-critical applications like autonomous driving.By identifying early signs of drift,this framework provides actionable insights for AI system updates,potentially reducing misclassification risks and enhancing public safety.Moreover,it enables timely interventions,reducing costly and labor-intensive retraining requirements by focusing only on the relevant aspects of evolving concepts.This method offers a streamlined approach for maintaining AI system performance in environments where domain knowledge rapidly changes.Originality/value:This study contributes a novel domain-agnostic framework that combines natural language processing with image analysis to predict concept drift early.This unique approach,which is focused on real-time data sources,offers an effective and scalable solution for addressing the evolving nature of domain-specific concepts in AI applications.展开更多

In thermoelectricity,the inherent coupling between electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient represents a fundamental challenge in thermoelectric materials development.Herein,we present a unique pressure-tuning ...In thermoelectricity,the inherent coupling between electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient represents a fundamental challenge in thermoelectric materials development.Herein,we present a unique pressure-tuning strategy using compressible layered 2H-MoTe2,achieving an effective decoupling between the electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient.The applied pressure simultaneously induces two complementary effects:(1)bandgap reduction that moderately enhances carrier concentration to improve the electrical conductivity,and(2)band convergence that dramatically increases density-of-states effective mass to boost the Seebeck coefficient.This dual mechanism yields an extraordinary 18.5-fold enhancement in the average power factor.First-principles calculations and Boltzmann transport modeling precisely reproduce the experimental observations,validating this pressure-induced decoupling mechanism.The pressure-tuning mechanism provides a feasible and effective strategy for breaking through the optimization limits of the power factor,facilitating the design of high-performance thermoelectric materials.展开更多

文摘This study introduces a lightweight deep learning model and a novel synthetic dataset designed to restore damaged one-dimensional(1D)barcodes and Quick Response(QR)codes,addressing critical challenges in logistics operations.The proposed solution leverages an efficient Pix2Pix-based framework,a type of conditional Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)optimized for image-to-image translation tasks,enabling the recovery of degraded barcodes and QR codes with minimal computational overhead.A core contribution of this work is the development of a synthetic dataset that simulates realistic damage scenarios frequently encountered in logistics environments,such as low contrast,misalignment,physical wear,and environmental interference.By training on this diverse and realistic dataset,the model demonstrates exceptional performance in restoring readability and decoding accuracy.The lightweight architecture,featuring a U-Net-based encoder-decoder with separable convolutions,ensures computational efficiency,making the approach suitable for real-time deployment on embedded and resource-constrained devices commonly used in logistics systems.Experimental results reveal significant improvements:QR code decoding ratios increased from 14%to 99%on training data and from 15%to 68%on validation data,while 1D barcode decoding ratios improved from 7%to 73%on training data and from 9%to 44%on validation data.By providing a robust,resource-efficient solution for restoring damaged barcodes and QR codes,this study offers practical advancements for enhancing the reliability of automated scanning systems in logistics operations,particularly under challenging conditions.

文摘Against the backdrop of the deep integration of“AI+Education,”this study focuses on the translation teaching of Applied English in higher vocational colleges,aiming to address the practical challenges in current teaching,such as the lag in AI application,the insufficient role transformation of teachers,and the weak digital literacy of students.By constructing an innovative“teacher-student-AI”interactive teaching model and a three-level process-oriented evaluation system,the research explores the practical path of AI-assisted translation teaching in pre-translation,in-translation,and post-translation stages.Through literature research,action research,and case analysis,the study summarizes standardized teaching templates for different professional scenarios and verifies the effectiveness of the teaching model.The results show that this reform can significantly improve students’digital literacy and autonomous learning ability,providing a replicable experience for AI-assisted teaching in higher vocational education and promoting the transformation of translation teaching from“knowledge acquisition”to“competence enhancement.”

文摘Objective:To explore the obstructive factors in the behavior of medical staff during the implementation of respiratory rehabilitation process,and to provide a basis for the rehabilitation management intervention of COPD.Methods:A descriptive nature research method was adopted.An interview outline was formulated based on the theoretical domain framework.From October to December 2024,15 medical staff from the respiratory department of a tertiary hospital in Shaanxi Province were selected for semi-structured interviews.The interview data were analyzed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Result:The analysis of this study found that the obstructive factors for medical staff to implement respiratory rehabilitation include five theoretical domains.The problems are respectively the lack of knowledge about respiratory rehabilitation and insufficient training intensity,the insufficient self-recognition of implementing respiratory rehabilitation,the low awareness rate of patients and the low cooperation degree,the insufficient provision of instruments and facilities,the lack of rehabilitation training venues and respiratory rehabilitation clinics,and the lack of scientific and standardized respiratory rehabilitation management processes.Conclusion:There are many obstructive factors affecting the implementation of respiratory rehabilitation by medical staff.Clinical managers should take corresponding measures,continuously improve the rehabilitation management strategies for COPD,and promote the clinical application of the best evidence for respiratory rehabilitation.

文摘Purpose:This research addresses the challenge of concept drift in AI-enabled software,particularly within autonomous vehicle systems where concept drift in object recognition(like pedestrian detection)can lead to misclassifications and safety risks.This study introduces a proactive framework to detect early signs of domain-specific concept drift by leveraging domain analysis and natural language processing techniques.This method is designed to help maintain the relevance of domain knowledge and prevent potential failures in AI systems due to evolving concept definitions.Design/methodology/approach:The proposed framework integrates natural language processing and image analysis to continuously update and monitor key domain concepts against evolving external data sources,such as social media and news.By identifying terms and features closely associated with core concepts,the system anticipates and flags significant changes.This was tested in the automotive domain on the pedestrian concept,where the framework was evaluated for its capacity to detect shifts in the recognition of pedestrians,particularly during events like Halloween and specific car accidents.Findings:The framework demonstrated an ability to detect shifts in the domain concept of pedestrians,as evidenced by contextual changes around major events.While it successfully identified pedestrian-related drift,the system’s accuracy varied when overlapping with larger social events.The results indicate the model’s potential to foresee relevant shifts before they impact autonomous systems,although further refinement is needed to handle high-impact concurrent events.Research limitations:This study focused on detecting concept drift in the pedestrian domain within autonomous vehicles,with results varying across domains.To assess generalizability,we tested the framework for airplane-related incidents and demonstrated adaptability.However,unpredictable events and data biases from social media and news may obscure domain-specific drifts.Further evaluation across diverse applications is needed to enhance robustness in evolving AI environments.Practical implications:The proactive detection of concept drift has significant implications for AI-driven domains,especially in safety-critical applications like autonomous driving.By identifying early signs of drift,this framework provides actionable insights for AI system updates,potentially reducing misclassification risks and enhancing public safety.Moreover,it enables timely interventions,reducing costly and labor-intensive retraining requirements by focusing only on the relevant aspects of evolving concepts.This method offers a streamlined approach for maintaining AI system performance in environments where domain knowledge rapidly changes.Originality/value:This study contributes a novel domain-agnostic framework that combines natural language processing with image analysis to predict concept drift early.This unique approach,which is focused on real-time data sources,offers an effective and scalable solution for addressing the evolving nature of domain-specific concepts in AI applications.

文摘In thermoelectricity,the inherent coupling between electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient represents a fundamental challenge in thermoelectric materials development.Herein,we present a unique pressure-tuning strategy using compressible layered 2H-MoTe2,achieving an effective decoupling between the electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient.The applied pressure simultaneously induces two complementary effects:(1)bandgap reduction that moderately enhances carrier concentration to improve the electrical conductivity,and(2)band convergence that dramatically increases density-of-states effective mass to boost the Seebeck coefficient.This dual mechanism yields an extraordinary 18.5-fold enhancement in the average power factor.First-principles calculations and Boltzmann transport modeling precisely reproduce the experimental observations,validating this pressure-induced decoupling mechanism.The pressure-tuning mechanism provides a feasible and effective strategy for breaking through the optimization limits of the power factor,facilitating the design of high-performance thermoelectric materials.
