Deepening the integration of industryand educationand school-enterprise cooperation are effective waysto cultivate high-quality applied talents.It has become an essentialdemand for social and economic development and an inevitable trend for applied undergraduatescolleges.In view of this,based on the development strategy of national and local integration of industry and education and the demand for talents in the human resources industry,this article takes human resource management as an example,combined with the current situation of industry and education integration of applied undergraduate human resource management,and explores its products from the perspective of one course and two teachers.It also proposes a guarantee mechanism for integratingindustryand education from the aspects of top-level guarantee,multiple evaluations,teaching co-management,and teacher incentives.It is hoped to establishan application-oriented undergraduate human resource management professional industryand education implementation systemand promote the deep integration of applied undergraduate industry and education. 展开更多

This study is dedicated to exploring the role of scientific research team construction and collaborative management mechanisms in applied undergraduate universities in promoting diversified talent training and collaborative innovation models.By forming an interdisciplinary scientific research team and recording in detail the team’s performance,problems encountered,and solutions during the collaborative innovation process,the study found that interdisciplinary team construction significantly improved scientific research timeliness,which was 29.33%higher than that of traditional single-disciplinary teams.Therefore,the construction of interdisciplinary scientific research teams and collaborative management mechanisms are effective ways for applied undergraduate universities to promote diversified talent training and collaborative innovation. 展开更多

The deepening implementation of the cultural-tourism integration strategy has driven the tourism industry’s transformation from a single sightseeing model to a culture-experience and innovation-driven model.This shift imposes higher demands on the“Three Innovation”(innovation,creativity,entrepreneurship)capabilities and local cultural adaptability of applied undergraduate tourism management professionals.As the core vehicle for talent cultivation,the quality of the curriculum system construction directly affects the alignment between talent development and the regional cultural-tourism industry needs.Based on the dual context of cultural-tourism integration and applied undergraduate education,this paper systematically analyzes the practical challenges in constructing a“Three Innovation Integration”curriculum system for local applied undergraduate tourism management programs.Guided by the principles of“local adaptation,cultural-tourism empowerment,Three Innovation synergy,and knowledge-practice integration,”it proposes a four-in-one curriculum framework comprising“basic modules+core integration modules+local characteristic modules+practical application modules.”Specific implementation pathways and safeguard mechanisms are also proposed,providing theoretical support and practical references for local applied undergraduate institutions to optimize tourism management talent cultivation programs and serve the high-quality development of regional cultural-tourism industries. 展开更多

In the current era of rapid technological development,robot technology has become a key forcedriving the transformation of various industries.Applied undergraduate education shoulders the important responsibilityof cultivating high-quality robot professionals who can meet the demands of industries.This studyfocuses on constructing a robot course teaching model based on the STEAM concept in application-orientedundergraduate colleges and conducts an in-depth exploration of its application effect,with the expectation ofproviding useful references for the teaching reform of related courses.Firstly,the article deeply analyzes theconnotation of the STEAM concept,namely interdisciplinary integration(science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics),practical innovation and the cultivation of comprehensive quality,emphasizing its fit andimportance for the teaching of robot courses.Robotics technology itself is a field that integrates multiple disciplines,covering knowledge from various aspects such as mechanical design,electronic engineering,computerprogramming,and sensor technology.At the same time,it also requires students to possess innovative thinkingand practical abilities to solve complex problems in practical applications,which is highly consistent with theeducational goals advocated by the STEAM concept.It has laid a solid theoretical foundation for the constructionof the teaching mode.Secondly,the specific construction process of the teaching mode was elaborated indetail.In terms of the curriculum system,it breaks through the limitations of the traditional single-disciplinecurriculum setting and builds a modular curriculum system covering multi-disciplinary knowledge,such as settingup basic modules(mathematical modeling,physics and mechanics,etc.),professional core modules(robotprogramming,mechanical structure design,etc.),and extension modules(artificial intelligence and robots,robot art design,etc.).Enable students to systematically learn knowledge related to robots and achieve theorganic integration and expansion of knowledge.In terms of teaching methods,a variety of methods such asproject-based teaching,problem-oriented teaching and group cooperative learning are comprehensively applied.Take project-based teaching as an example.Teachers assign robot project tasks with practical applicationbackgrounds,such as designing a robot for campus environment monitoring.Students need to independentlyconsult materials,form teams,and collaborate in division of labor.They participate throughout the entireprocess from the overall conception of the robot,mechanical structure construction,circuit design,programwriting to the final debugging and operation.This not only exercises students’practical hands-on ability,butalso cultivates their comprehensive ability to solve complex problems and teamwork spirit.In the teaching evaluationlink,a diversified evaluation system has been constructed.It has changed the previous evaluation methodmainly based on examination scores,combined process evaluation with outcome evaluation,and focused onconducting comprehensive evaluations of students’performance during the learning process,teamwork ability,innovation ability,and the quality of project completion,etc.By observing students’performance during theproject implementation process,mutual evaluation among group members,project achievement presentationand defense,etc.,comprehensively and objectively evaluate students’learning outcomes,promptly identifytheir strengths and weaknesses,and provide a basis for subsequent teaching improvement.Finally,throughthe teaching practice application carried out in the robotics major of an application-oriented undergraduatecollege,the constructed teaching mode was verified.The practical results show that students’enthusiasm andinitiative in the robot course learning have significantly increased,and their classroom participation has greatlyimproved.They have shifted from passively accepting knowledge in the past to actively exploring and practicing.In terms of the achievements of course projects,the robot works designed by students are more innovativeand practical,and can well meet the actual application needs.For example,some intelligent logistics robots designedby students have conducted preliminary application tests in the campus express delivery sorting scenarioand achieved good results.Meanwhile,the number of awards won by students in various robot competitionshas also significantly increased,which fully demonstrates the improvement of students’comprehensive qualityand practical innovation ability,and strongly proves the effectiveness and feasibility of the robot course teachingmodel based on the STEAM concept.In conclusion,the application-oriented undergraduate robot courseteaching model based on the STEAM concept constructed in this study has effectively promoted students’interdisciplinary knowledge integration,practical innovation and comprehensive quality improvement by optimizingthe curriculum system,innovating teaching methods and improving the teaching evaluation system.Itprovides new ideas and methods for the cultivation of robot professionals in application-oriented undergraduatecolleges and universities.It has significant theoretical and practical significance,and can provide reference and inspiration for the teaching reform of other related professional courses,promoting applied undergraduateeducation to better adapt to social Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action,this paper explores the influencing factors and countermeasures of teacher career development in private undergraduate institutions through questionnaire surveys.The study finds that teachers generally experience heavy workloads and time pressures,but most believe that the academic atmosphere and research activities at the school have a positive impact on their career development.The evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels are considered fair and effective,but there is still room for improvement.Teachers hold a positive attitude towards career development opportunities and promotion channels,but they perceive limited development space and promotion opportunities.Teachers’personal comprehensive qualities and abilities,as well as the development opportunities and support provided by the school,are considered key factors for career development.Disciplinary professional background,academic accumulation,research capabilities,and teacher collaboration and exchange have significant impacts on career development.Based on the findings,the following strategies are proposed:1)optimizing the work environment and reducing work pressure;2)fostering a positive academic atmosphere;3)improving evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels;4)providing continuous professional training and development support;and 5)strengthening the construction of disciplinary professional background and research capabilities. 展开更多

In response to the challenges of ideological and political theory(IPT)courses in applied undergraduate education—namely the disconnection between theory and professional practice,and students’low level of engagement—this paper proposes the teaching concept of a“two-way approach.”Leveraging the data analytics capacity of artificial intelligence(AI)and the realtime interactive functions of Rain Classroom,a practical pathway of“subject collaboration—content adaptation—integration of knowledge and practice”is constructed.Based on teaching practices in ideological and political education at Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology,the study connects selected knowledge points from courses such as Ideology,Morality and Rule of Law and Outline of Modern Chinese History,while drawing on specific teaching cases from undergraduate programs in Stomatological Technology,Pharmacy,Big Data and Accounting,and Early Childhood Education taught by the author in recent years.The exploration aims to tailor instruction to individual needs,significantly enhance students’classroom participation and theoretical application ability,and provide a replicable model for reforming IPT courses in applied undergraduate education. 展开更多
