Damaged places and repairing them are a problem that is significant and liable of each period has been looking for excogitation and resolving problems according to the existing circumstances. However, expressed concern that it is still a problem, is worn texture, which is extending fast in all cities of the world, particularly in developing countries, and this problem has gripped cities and authorities. In spite of all weaknesses and deficiency, since the majority of worn-out tissues have significant cultural, social and economic values which give identity to the cities, so paying attention to these areas and how to intervene in them is very important. The purpose of this paper is to study and consider ways of rehabilitation and renovation of the old texture of Ab-Anbar-No district in Sari, which it has been done using analytical-descriptive method. In this study, the needed information has been collected by observation, providing necessary map, library research and rehabilitation and reconstruction strategies have gained by SWOT model for analysis and internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (threats and opportunities) of this tissue have been considered comprehensively. The results of this study show that strategies for rehabilitation and renovation of Ab-Anbar-No district are one part of the guidance, control and planning system of urban rehabilitation and modernization, as a guide for decision-making. The considered limitation of weakness and strengths in physical, environmental and functional fields have a high vulnerability and also have optimization opportunities in the economic, social and legal-administrative fields in order to take advantages for reaching perfection.展开更多

Breast cancer rate in Arabic countries is lower than that in West nations and more common in younger age. The aim of this study is to estimate age of presentation, stage, grade, type and side of tumor and their comparison with other Iraqi regions as well as with some Arabic and West countries. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive study conducted between 1st of February 2011 to 30th of January 2015 in Western Iraq. 292 cases of breast cancer were enrolled in this study, including 206 cases of mastectomy and 86 cases of lumpectomy. Results: Average age at diagnosis: 47.16 (SD: 12.15), median age at diagnosis: 45 with mode of: 40. Cases with age <50 y: 68.15%. Regarding tumor stages, only 2.39% were presented in pT0 & pT1 categories, and only 2.92% of 206 mastectomy cases were presented in stage 0 & stage I, 12.7% of cases were of grade I. Regarding the types: invasive ductal carcinoma, not otherwise specified type: 88%, medullary type: 6.8%, mucinous type: 2.1% & invasive lobular type: 3.1%. Left side (179)/Right side (113) = 1.58, and the bilaterality was 2.7%. Conclusion: Breast cancer rate among females in Western Iraq is low, but it is relatively higher in younger age group in comparison to other studies and mostly presented beyond early stage with a higher grade.展开更多

It covers an area of 4767.423 Km2 with elevation ranges from 360 to 840 m. The general slope decreases from southwest to northeast. Five old dams identified in the study area. The results of SWAT model showed high curve number (70 - 85) indicating low filtration and runoff rate (1.2 - 8.2) mm for the period (1994-2014). These dams have catchment areas ranged between (118.03 - 673.41) km2. They were to be used for agricultural purposes. The results according to the Food, Agriculture Organization (FAO) standards for their distance from agricultural areas using a GIS showed that all are not suitable except dam number (1). The distance to roads showed that dams (1, 4) are highly suitable, (2, 3) are low suitable and dam (5) is not suitable. The average annual quantity of rain water that can be harvested from the 5 dams is about 12.9 million cubic meters.展开更多
