However, since Rydberg atomic receivers are nonlinear systems, mismatches between the parameters of the received amplitude modulation(AM) signals and the system's linear workspace and demodulation operating points can cause severe distortion in the demodulated signals. To address this, the article proposes a method for determining the operational parameters based on the mean square error(MSE) and total harmonic distortion(THD) assessments and presents strategies for optimizing the system's operational parameters focusing on linear response characteristics(LRC) and linear dynamic range(LDR). Specifically, we employ a method that minimizes the MSE to define the system's linear workspace, thereby ensuring the system has a good LRC while maximizing the LDR. To ensure that the signal always operates within the linear workspace, an appropriate carrier amplitude is set as the demodulation operating point. By calculating the THD at different operating points, the LRC performance within different regions of the linear workspace is evaluated, and corresponding optimization strategies based on the range of signal strengths are proposed. Moreover, to more accurately restore the baseband signal, we establish a mapping relationship between the carrier Rabi frequency and the transmitted power of the probe light, and optimize the slope of the linear demodulation function to reduce the MSE to less than 0.8×10^(-4). Finally, based on these methods for determining the operational parameters, we explore the effects of different laser Rabi frequencies on the system performance, and provide optimization recommendations. This research provides robust support for the design of high-performance Rydberg atom-based AM receivers.展开更多

The research results indicate that a decrease in temperature, an increase in shear frequency and strain level, the introduction of polymer modifiers, and the aging effect of asphalt can significantly increase the nonlinearity of asphalt, manifested by the higher relative magnitude of the third harmonic and zero-strain nonlinear coefficient. For the two polymer modifiers selected in this study, the 4%polyurethane modifier exhibits a higher nonlinear lifting effect than the 4% styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS). The impact of long-term aging on nonlinear viscoelasticity is observably greater than that of short-term aging. The zero-strain nonlinear coefficient estimated based on the average value method can accurately characterize the nonlinear viscoelasticity of asphalt, which can serve as an effective supplement to the relative magnitude of the third harmonic. All asphalts exhibit shear thinning behavior under the test temperature of 24℃, and the decrease in test temperature, the increase in shear rate and strain level, the introduction of modifiers, and the aging effect of asphalt all exacerbate the shear thinning behavior of asphalt. In addition, the fatigue failure process of asphalt materials is accompanied by an increasing degree of nonlinearity.展开更多

We consider various modulation waveforms and find that square-wave modulation has the highest excitation efficiency for ELF/VLF signals, and that square-wave modulation with a smaller duty cycle(<50%) exhibits higher excitation efficiency for ELF/VLF signals, while the sin^(2)t waveform modulation yields the lowest proportion of harmonic energy in the generated signals. The amplitude of the second harmonic generated by the sin^(2)t waveform is less than one-tenth that of the fundamental frequency, and the energy of higher-frequency harmonics can be negligibly small compared with those of the fundamental wave. It is a challenging task to achieve a balance between enhancing the excitation efficiency of ELF/VLF signals and also suppressing harmonics generated by the modulated heating process. This is because the harmonics are correspondingly enhanced as the excitation efficiency of the signals is increased. However, we find that under conditions of varying effective radiant power and modulation frequency, as long as the modulation waveform is unchanged, the energy ratio between the fundamental frequency signal generated by modulated heating and each harmonic is relatively fixed, with changes only in signal intensity and the location of the radiation source zone. This implies that one can first select modulation waveforms that make the signal less prone to distortion, then increase the effective radiated power to enhance the signal strength, without concern for harmonic interference of the fundamental signal.展开更多

文摘This work aims to reveal the mechanical responses and energy evolution characteristics of skarn rock under constant amplitude-varied frequency loading paths.Testing results show that the fatigue lifetime, stress−strain responses, deformation, energy dissipation and fracture morphology are all impacted by the loading rate.A pronounced influence of the loading rate on rock deformation is found, with slower loading rate eliciting enhanced strain development, alongside augmented energy absorption and dissipation. In addition,it is revealed that the loading rate and cyclic loading amplitude jointly influence the phase shift distribution, with accelerated rates leading to a narrower phase shift duration. It is suggested that lower loading rate leads to more significant energy dissipation. Finally, the tensile or shear failure modes were intrinsically linked to loading strategy, with cyclic loading predominantly instigating shear damage,as manifest in the increased presence of pulverized grain particles. This work would give new insights into the fortification of mining structures and the optimization of mining methodologies.

文摘The control of adiabatic dynamics is essential for quantum manipulation. We investigate the effects of both periodic modulating field and linear sweeping field on adiabatic dynamics based on a non-reciprocal Landau-Zener model with periodic modulation. We obtain adiabatic phase diagrams in the(ω,δ)parameter space, where the adiabatic region is bounded by the modulating frequencyωgreater than a critical valueω_(c) and the non-reciprocal parameterδless than one.The results show that the adiabaticity of the system is not sensitive to the modulating amplitude. We find that the critical modulating frequency can be expressed as a power function of the modulating period number or the sweeping rate. Our findings suggest that one can change the adiabatic region or improve the adiabaticity by adjusting the parameters of both the modulating and the sweeping fields, which provides an effective means to flexibly control the adiabatic dynamics of non-reciprocal systems.

文摘Single-wavelength interferometry achieves high resolution for smooth surfaces but struggles with rough industrially relevant ones due to limited unambiguous measuring range and speckle effects.Multiwavelength interferometry addresses these challenges using synthetic wavelengths, enabling a balance between extended measurement range and resolution by combining several synthetic wavelengths. This approach holds immense potential for diverse industrial applications, yet it remains largely untapped due to the lack of suitable light sources.Existing solutions are constrained by limited flexibility in synthetic-wavelength generation and slow switching speeds. We demonstrate a light source for multiwavelength interferometry based on electro-optic single-sideband modulation. It reliably generates synthetic wavelengths with arbitrary values from centimeters to meters and switching time below 30 ms.This breakthrough paves the way for dynamic reconfigurable multiwavelength interferometry capable of adapting to complex surfaces and operating efficiently even outside laboratory settings. These capabilities unlock the full potential of multiwavelength interferometry, offering unprecedented flexibility and speed for industrial and technological applications.

文摘To reveal the effects of environmental and loading conditions, as well as asphalt properties on the nonlinear rheological behavior of asphalt, the large amplitude oscillation shear(LAOS) test was introduced, and the Fourier transform rheology, Lissajous curve method, and the LAOS fatigue test have been applied to investigate the nonlinear rheological behavior of asphalt binders. In addition, the fatigue failure process of asphalt materials is accompanied by an increasing degree of nonlinearity.

文摘Low sidelobe waveform can reduce mutual masking between targets and increase the detection probability of weak targets.A low sidelobe waveform design method based on complementary amplitude coding(CAC)is proposed in this paper, which can be used to reduce the sidelobe level of multiple waveforms.First, the CAC model is constructed. Then, the waveform design problem is transformed into a nonlinear optimization problem by constructing an objective function using the two indicators of peak-to-sidelobe ratio(PSLR)and integrated sidelobe ratio(ISLR).Finally, genetic algorithm(GA)is used to solve the optimization problem to get the best CAC waveforms.Simulations and experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘Background:The nuclear receptor coactivator(NCOA)family, including NCOA1,NCOA2,and NCOA3,is critical in regulating gene expression through interactions with nuclear receptors and other transcription factors. These coactivators are implicated in various cancers, but their comprehensive roles across different cancer types remain poorly understood. Methods:We performed a pan-cancer bioinformatics analysis using data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and the Genotype-Tissue Expression project. We assessed the differential expression, copy number variations, mutations, methylation status, tumor mutation burden, microsatellite instability, and immune cell infiltration associated with NCOA family members across various cancers.Differential expression analysis was conducted using the DESeq2 package.Methylation data were analyzed using the ChAMP package, and immune cell infiltration was estimated using the CIBERSORT algorithm.Results:NCOA1 and NCOA2 were predominantly downregulated in multiple cancers, suggesting potential tumor suppressor roles, whereas NCOA3 was largely upregulated, indicating a consistent oncogenic function. These expression patterns significantly correlated with patient prognosis.Frequent copy number variations, particularly gains, and high mutation rates were observed in NCOA2.NCOA3 demonstrated consistent hypomethylation in tumors, which was associated with increased gene expression.Significant correlations were found between NCOA expression and tumor mutation burden, microsatellite instability, and immune cell infiltration, indicating their involvement in genomic instability and immune modulation. Conclusion:This comprehensive analysis reveals significant alterations in the expression, genomic, and epigenetic profiles of NCOA family members across various cancers. The findings highlight the multifaceted roles of NCOA1,NCOA2,and NCOA3 in tumorigenesis and their potential as biomarkers and therapeutic targets.Future research should focus on elucidating the mechanisms underlying the associations between NCOA expression, genomic alterations, and immune modulation to develop targeted cancer therapies.

文摘This paper establishes an amplitude modulation heating model, simulating the far-field radiation of ELF/VLF signals generated by modulation heating, as well as the specific location and longitudinal extent of the radiation source. This implies that one can first select modulation waveforms that make the signal less prone to distortion, then increase the effective radiated power to enhance the signal strength, without concern for harmonic interference of the fundamental signal.

文摘A designed visual geometry group(VGG)-based convolutional neural network(CNN)model with small computational cost and high accuracy is utilized to monitor pulse amplitude modulation-based intensity modulation and direct detection channel performance using eye diagram measurements.Experimental results show that the proposed technique can achieve a high accuracy in jointly monitoring modulation format, probabilistic shaping,roll-off factor, baud rate, optical signal-to-noise ratio, and chromatic dispersion. The designed VGG-based CNN model outperforms the other four traditional machine-learning methods in different scenarios.Furthermore, the multitask learning model combined with MobileNet CNN is designed to improve the flexibility of the network.Compared with the designed VGG-based CNN,the MobileNet-based MTL does not need to train all the classes, and it can simultaneously monitor single parameter or multiple parameters without sacrificing accuracy, indicating great potential in various monitoring scenarios.

文摘Large-angle stimulated Raman scattering(LA-SRS)in a longitudinally inhomogeneous plasma with a transverse density modulation is studied using a three-wave coupled model and numerical simulations. The simulations show that the scattering angle of SRS in a longitudinally inhomogeneous plasma can be significantly affected by transverse density modulation.Under transverse density modulation conditions, the laser focuses into underdense regions, owing to the transversely modulated refractive index. The angle of LA-SRS,neither a purely 90° angle side scattering nor purely backscattering,is almost consistent with the specific angle at which the density inhomogeneity vanishes. In modulated plasmas, the nonuniform distribution of laser intensity shifts the regions of scattering and gain compared with those in uniform plasmas, ultimately affecting the laser transmission.SRS is suppressed in weakly modulated regimes, whereas it is enhanced under strong modulation conditions, and a theoretical criterion distinguishing between strong and weak modulation is established.
文摘The development of solid frustrated Lewis pairs(FLPs)catalysts with porous structures is a promising strategy for advancing green hydrogenation technologies and has garnered significant attention.Leveraging the diverse oxidation states and structural tunability of cerium-based metal-organic frameworks(Ce-MOFs),this study employed a competitive coordination strategy utilizing a single carboxylate functional group ligand to construct a series of MOF-808-X(X=-NH_(2),-OH,-Br,and-NO_(2))featuring rich solid-state FLPs for hydrogenation of unsaturated olefins.The-X functional group serves as a microenvironment, enhancing hydrogenation activity by modulating the electronic properties and acid-base characteristics of the FLP sites. The unique redox properties of elemental cerium facilitate the exposure of unsaturated Ce sites(Ce-CUS,Lewis acid(LA))and adjacent Ce-OH(Lewis base(LB))sites within the MOFs,generating abundant solid-state FLP(Ce-CUS/Ce-OH)sites.Experimental results demonstrate that Ce-CUS and Ce-OH interact with theσandσ^(*)orbitals of H-H,and this"push-pull"synergy promotes heterolytic cleavage of the H-H bond. The lone pair electrons of the electron-donating functional group are transmitted through the molecular backbone to the LB site, thereby increasing its strength and reducing the activation energy required for H_(2)heterolytic cleavage.Notably,at 100℃and 2 MPa H_(2),MOF-808-NH_(2)achieves complete conversion of styrene and dicyclopentadiene, significantly outperforming MOF-808.Based on in-situ analysis and density functional theory calculations,a plausible reaction mechanism is proposed. This research enriches the theoretical framework for unsaturated olefin hydrogenation catalysts and contributes to the development of efficient catalytic systems.

文摘The dynamics of network power response play a crucial role in system stability. However, the integration of power electronic equipment leads to amplitude and angular frequency(abbreviated as"frequency")time-varying characteristics of the node voltage during dynamic processes. As a result, traditional calcu-lation methods for and characteristics of the power response of the network based on phasor and impe-dance lose their validity. Therefore, this paper undertakes mathematical calculations to reveal the power response of a network under excitation by voltage with time-varying amplitude and frequency(TVAF),relying on the original mathematical relationships and superimposed step response. Then, the multi-timescale characteristics of both the active and reactive power of the network are explored physically.Additionally, this paper reveals a new phenomenon of storing and releasing the active and reactive power of the network. To meet practical engineering requirements,a simplified power expression is presented. Finally, the theoretical analysis is validated through time-domain simulations.

文摘The steps of NO_(3)^(-)adsorption,deoxygenation,nitrogen species hydrogenation and ammonia desorption are vital for electrocatalytic nitrate reduction(NO_(3)^(-)RR)to ammonia, and lowering their Gibbs free energy change(ΔG)is the essential approach for improving NO_(3)^(-)RR.The copper-based alloys are considered as the outstanding catalysts thanks to the tunable d-band center, reconstruction and synergistic effect of multiple metal atoms in the past decades. Here,we synthesized a single-phase coppernickel alloy by electrodeposition and optimized itsΔG during NO_(3)^(-)RR through tuning the electrodeposition potential to regulate the metal component ratio. The atomic ratio of Ni/Cu in CuNi alloys is gradually increased as the negative shift of deposition potential from-1.0 to-1.2 V versus SCE,thus achieving the fast modulation of intermediate adsorption energy for NO_(3)^(-)RR.According to density functional theory, profited by a strong NO_(3)^(-)adsorption and a weak NH_(3)desorption energy barrier, the optimized CuNi alloy(Cu_(3)Ni_(1)/CF)exhibits an ideal ammonia yield of 364.1μmol cm^(-2)h^(-1)and Faradaic efficiency of 92.25%at-0.23 V versus RHE.Further applying Cu_(3)Ni_(1)/CF as the cathode material,a novel Znnitrate battery exhibits a maximum power density of5.85 mW cm^(-2)with a NH_(3)yield of 92.50μmol cm^(-2)h^(-1)and Faradaic efficiency of 99.15%at 20 mA cm^(-2)for NH_(3)production.This work not only offers a rational design concept with clear guidance for efficient modulation of intermediate adsorption free energy on alloy catalysts prepared by electrodeposition, but also provides the further understanding for efficient developments of NO_(3)^(-)RR and Zn-based batteries.
