At present, in order to increase the EMA's robustness on the uncertainties, the H, control method has been applied in aircrafts. The major problems with standard H∞ control lie in the large overshoot of step response and the high orders of the controller. For the purpose of addressing the two problems, this paper investigates several kinds of robust control strategies of the EMA. A mathematical model of the EMA is first built, and then with MATLAB software a H∞ controller and an improved hybrid robust controller composed of a reduced order H∞controller and a lead compensator are designed. In order to make a scientific comparison of the control effects of H∞ controller, hybrid controller and classic proportion-integral-differential(PID) controller, a simulation research is made in respect of the open loop frequency response and the closed loop step response of the three controllers. For comparing the robustness of the three controllers, the load torque is entered as a disturbance and the disturbance response of error and control input are thus obtained. The experiments with the three controllers are also conducted. Through giving the EMA a command and a disturbance torque successively, the transient response and disturbing process of EMA are recorded. The simulation and experiment results show that with the help of the hybrid controller, the EMA not only guarantees good dynamic characteristics, but also has strong robustness of disturbance rejection. Therefore, the excogitated H∞ hybrid control method effectively solves the problem of large overshoot in dynamic response, and moderately meets the requirement of overcoming the uncertainties in the EMA of aircrafts.展开更多

At the same time, performance improvement of semiconductor and dielectric materials further promotes electronic components confinement, resulting in a significant increase of embedded power densities. In the particular case of future hybrid propulsion aircrafts, electrical power that intended to supply reactors would be converted through power electronics components mounted on power busbars and insulated by solid dielectrics materials. These dielectrics materials have to respond to various electrical constraints of use (HVDC), in spite of environment change of aircraft parameters such as low pressure, temperature and thermal cycles, humidity... Unfortunately, partial discharges phenomenon is the most problem within electrical insulation system (EIS). Based on a topological model of power busbars designed for power converters dedicated to hybrid aircraft, partial discharge studies were conducted by simulation in various charging conditions of a PTFE insulator. Simulation results, which focus on electric field thresholds criteria of partial discharge inception voltage in air, reveal a net sensitivity of a space charge accumulation and distribution on dielectrics behaviour even for low space charge density, depending on their location in dielectrics. Compared to the behaviour observed with implanted homocharges, when by increasing homocharges density from 0.5 C/m3 to 2 C/m3 we observe a decrease of electric field by 450%, simulation results show a highest risk of partial discharge inception when heterocharges are accumulated inside dielectrics. Their accumulation increases the electric field in triple points beyond electric field thresholds of partial discharge inception in air. The simulated electric field reaching 22 kV/mm with only 2 C/m3 of heterocharges density accumulated in dielectric/busbars interfaces.展开更多

The core components of an aircraft and the source of its lift are its wings,but lift generation is disrupted by the high temperature and pressure generated on the wing surface when an aircraft gun is fired.Here,to inv...The core components of an aircraft and the source of its lift are its wings,but lift generation is disrupted by the high temperature and pressure generated on the wing surface when an aircraft gun is fired.Here,to investigate how this process influences the aerodynamic parameters of aircraft wings,the k-ωshearstress-transport turbulence model and the nested dynamic grid technique are used to analyze numerically the transient process of the muzzle jet of a 30-mm small-caliber aircraft gun in highaltitude(10 km)flight with an incoming Mach number of Ma=0.8.For comparison,two other models are established,one with no projectile and the other with no wing.The results indicate that when the aircraft gun is fired,the muzzle jet acts on the wing,creating a pressure field thereon.The uneven distribution of high pressure greatly reduces the lift of the aircraft,causing oscillations in its drag and disrupting its dynamic balance,thereby affecting its flight speed and attitude.Meanwhile,the muzzle jet is obstructed by the wing,and its flow field is distorted and deformed,developing upward toward the wing.Because of the influence of the incoming flow,the shockwave front of the projectile changes from a smooth spherical shape to an irregular one,and the motion parameters of the projectile are also greatly affected by oscillations.The present results provide an important theoretical basis for how the guns of fighter aircraft influence the aerodynamic performance of the wings.展开更多
Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in oper...Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in operator workloads and significantly increase the complexity of scheduling.To address this challenge,this study investigates the Aircraft Pulsating Assembly Line Scheduling Problem(APALSP)under skilled operator allocation,with the objective of minimizing assembly completion time.A mathematical model considering skilled operator allocation is developed,and a Q-Learning improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(QLPSO)is proposed.In the algorithm design,a reverse scheduling strategy is adopted to effectively manage large-scale precedence constraints.Moreover,a reverse sequence encoding method is introduced to generate operation sequences,while a time decoding mechanism is employed to determine completion times.The problem is further reformulated as a Markov Decision Process(MDP)with explicitly defined state and action spaces.Within QLPSO,the Q-learning mechanism adaptively adjusts inertia weights and learning factors,thereby achieving a balance between exploration capability and convergence performance.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,extensive computational experiments are conducted on benchmark instances of different scales,including small,medium,large,and ultra-large cases.The results demonstrate that QLPSO consistently delivers stable and high-quality solutions across all scenarios.In ultra-large-scale instances,it improves the best solution by 25.2%compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and enhances the average solution by 16.9%over the Q-learning algorithm,showing clear advantages over the comparative methods.These findings not only confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm but also provide valuable theoretical references and practical guidance for the intelligent scheduling optimization of aircraft pulsating assembly lines.展开更多
Fluidic Thrust Vectoring(FTV)is used for the yaw attitude control of tailless flying wing,which can significantly improve stealth performance,maneuverability and lateral/heading maneuverability.The FTV control scheme ...Fluidic Thrust Vectoring(FTV)is used for the yaw attitude control of tailless flying wing,which can significantly improve stealth performance,maneuverability and lateral/heading maneuverability.The FTV control scheme of co-directional secondary flow was designed based on a 30 kgf thrust turbojet engine,an equivalent rudder deflection control variable of Mass Flow Combination(MFC)was proposed,and a control model was established to form a FTV control system scheme,which was integrated with the flight control system of a 100 kg tailless flying wing with medium aspect ratio to achieve closed-loop control of the yaw attitude based on FTV.The heading stability augmentation and maneuvering control characteristics and time response characteristics of tailless flying wing by FTV were quantitatively studied through virtual flight test in a wind tunnel at a wind speed of 35 m/s.The results show that the control strategy based on MFC achieves bidirectional continuous and stable control of thrust vector angle in a range of±11°,and the thrust vector angle varies monotonically with MFC;the co-directional FTV realizes bidirectional continuous and stable control of the yaw attitude of tailless flying wing,without longitudinal/lateral coupling moment.The increment of the maximum yawing moment coefficient is 0.0029,the maximum yaw rate is 7.55(°)/s,and the response time of the yaw rate of the vectoring nozzle actuated by the secondary flow is about 0.06 s,which satisfies the heading stability augmentation and maneuvering control response requirements of the aircraft with statically unstable heading,and provides new control means for the heading rudderless attitude control of tailless flying wing.展开更多
Microbial contamination and the resulting corrosion in aircraft fuel system pose a serious threat to flight safety.Revealing the corrosion behavior and mechanism of fuel-degrading microorganisms on tank materials is c...Microbial contamination and the resulting corrosion in aircraft fuel system pose a serious threat to flight safety.Revealing the corrosion behavior and mechanism of fuel-degrading microorganisms on tank materials is crucial for developing effective mitigation strategies.In this study,the corrosion mechanisms of two representative hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria,Alcanivorax dieselolei and Microbacterium oxydans,toward AA7075 aluminum alloy,were systematically investigated.A combination of biofilm characterization,electrochemical testing,and surface/corrosion product characterization was employed.Both strains markedly accelerated the corrosion of AA7075,as evidence by the progressive decrease in polarization resistance and the pronounced rightward shift of the potentiodynamic polarization curves.Moreover,the difference between the pitting potential(E_(pit))and the corrosion potential(E_(corr))(ΔE=E_(pit)‒E_(corr))decreased due to microbial activities,indicating a pronounced tendency toward accelerated pitting corrosion.Corrosion morphology analysis revealed that both microbes promoted localized pitting corrosion.Furthermore,analysis of aviation kerosene composition indicated that both bacteria accelerated the degradation of C8 and C9 alkanes.These findings highlight the multiple threats of microbial contamination,material degradation,and fuel quality deterioration in fuel systems and underscore the need for targeted protection strategies for marine aviation operations.展开更多

The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input mult...The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input multi-output,nonlinearity,and strong coupling presents significant challenges.The substantial internal force generated during the adjustment process can potentially damage the LAC and degrade the assembly quality.Hence,a workspace-based hybrid force position control scheme was developed to achieve high quality assembly with high-precision and lower internal force.Firstly,an offline workspace analysis with inherent geometric characteristics to form time-varying posture error constraint.Then,the posture error is integrated into the online position axis control to ensure tracking the ideal posture,while the force control axis compensates for posture deviation by minimizing internal force,thereby achieving high precision and low internal force.Finally,the effectiveness was demonstrated through experiments.The root mean square errors of orientation and position are 104 rad and 0.1 mm,respectively.A reduction in internal force can range from 10.96%to 57.4%compared to the traditional method.Key points'max position error is decreased from 0.32 mm to 0.18 mm,satisfying the 0.5 mm tolerance.Therefore,the proposed method will help promote the development of high-performance manufacturing.展开更多
The highly dynamic nature,strong uncertainty,and coupled multiple safety constraints inherent in carrier aircraft recovery operations pose severe challenges for real-time decision-making.Addressing bolter scenarios,th...The highly dynamic nature,strong uncertainty,and coupled multiple safety constraints inherent in carrier aircraft recovery operations pose severe challenges for real-time decision-making.Addressing bolter scenarios,this study proposes an intelligent decision-making framework based on a deep long short-term memory Q-network.This framework transforms the real-time sequencing for bolter recovery problem into a partially observable Markov decision process.It employs a stacked long shortterm memory network to accurately capture the long-range temporal dependencies of bolter event chains and fuel consumption.Furthermore,it integrates a prioritized experience replay training mechanism to construct a safe and adaptive scheduling system capable of millisecond-level real-time decision-making.Experimental demonstrates that,within large-scale mass recovery scenarios,the framework achieves zero safety violations in static environments and maintains a fuel safety violation rate below 10%in dynamic scenarios,with single-step decision times at the millisecond level.The model exhibits strong generalization capability,effectively responding to unforeseen emergent situations—such as multiple bolters and fuel emergencies—without requiring retraining.This provides robust support for efficient carrier-based aircraft recovery operations.展开更多
The evolution of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)into a pandemic has severely hampered the usage of public transit systems.In a post-COVID-19 world,we may see an increased reliance on autonomous cars and personal rapid t...The evolution of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)into a pandemic has severely hampered the usage of public transit systems.In a post-COVID-19 world,we may see an increased reliance on autonomous cars and personal rapid transit(PRT)systems,with inherent physical distancing,over buses,trains and aircraft for intracity,intercity,and interstate travel.However,air travel would continue to be the dominant mode of intercontinental transportation for humans.In this study,we perform a comprehensive computational analysis,using ANSYS Fluent,of typical intercontinental aircraft ventilation systems to determine the seat where environmental factors are most conducive to human comfort with regards to air quality,protection from orally or nasally released pollutants such as CO_(2)and coronavirus,and thermal comfort levels.Air velocity,temperature,and air pollutant concentration emitted from the nose/mouth of fellow travelers are considered for both Boeing and Airbus planes.In each plane,first class,business class,and economy class sections were analyzed.We present conclusions as to which is the optimum seat in each section of each plane and provide the data of the environmental conditions to support our inferences.The findings may be used by the general public to decide which seat to occupy for their next intercontinental flight.Alternatively,the commercial airliners can use such a model to plan the occupancy of the aircraft on long-duration intercontinental flights(viz.,Airbus A380 and Boeing B747).展开更多

The design of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)revolves around the careful selection of materials that are both lightweight and robust.Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)emerged as an ideal option for wing construction...The design of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)revolves around the careful selection of materials that are both lightweight and robust.Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)emerged as an ideal option for wing construction,with its mechanical qualities thoroughly investigated.In this study,we developed and optimized a conceptual UAV wing to withstand structural loads by establishing progressive composite stacking sequences,and we conducted a series of experimental characterizations on the resulting material.In the optimization phase,the objective was defined as weight reduction,while the Hashin damage criterion was established as the constraint for the optimization process.The optimization algorithm adaptively monitors regional damage criterion values,implementing necessary adjustments to facilitate the mitigation process in a cost-effective manner.Optimization of the analytical model using Simulia Abaqus~(TM)and a Python-based user-defined sub-routine resulted in a 34.7%reduction in the wing's structural weight after 45 iterative rounds.Then,the custom-developed optimization algorithm was compared with a genetic algorithm optimization.This comparison has demonstrated that,although the genetic algorithm explores numerous possibilities through hybridization,the custom-developed algorithm is more result-oriented and achieves optimization in a reduced number of steps.To validate the structural analysis,test specimens were fabricated from the wing's most critically loaded segment,utilizing the identical stacking sequence employed in the optimization studies.Rigorous mechanical testing revealed unexpectedly high compressive strength,while tensile and bending strengths fell within expected ranges.All observed failure loads remained within the established safety margins,thereby confirming the reliability of the analytical predictions.展开更多
Safe and efficient sortie scheduling on the confined flight deck is crucial for maintaining high combat effectiveness of the aircraft carrier.The primary difficulty exactly lies in the spatiotemporal coordination,i.e....Safe and efficient sortie scheduling on the confined flight deck is crucial for maintaining high combat effectiveness of the aircraft carrier.The primary difficulty exactly lies in the spatiotemporal coordination,i.e.,allocation of limited supporting resources and collision-avoidance between heterogeneous dispatch entities.In this paper,the problem is investigated in the perspective of hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem by synthesizing the precedence,space and resource constraints.Specifically,eight processing procedures are abstracted,where tractors,preparing spots,catapults,and launching are virtualized as machines.By analyzing the constraints in sortie scheduling,a mixed-integer planning model is constructed.In particular,the constraint on preparing spot occupancy is improved to further enhance the sortie efficiency.The basic trajectory library for each dispatch entity is generated and a delayed strategy is integrated to address the collision-avoidance issue.To efficiently solve the formulated HFSP,which is essentially a combinatorial problem with tightly coupled constraints,a chaos-initialized genetic algorithm is developed.The solution framework is validated by the simulation environment referring to the Fort-class carrier,exhibiting higher sortie efficiency when compared to existing strategies.And animation of the simulation results is available at www.bilibili.com/video/BV14t421A7Tt/.The study presents a promising supporting technique for autonomous flight deck operation in the foreseeable future,and can be easily extended to other supporting scenarios,e.g.,ammunition delivery and aircraft maintenance.展开更多
This paper presents the design of an asymmetrically variable wingtip anhedral angles morphing aircraft,inspired by biomimetic mechanisms,to enhance lateral maneuver capability.Firstly,we establish a lateral dynamic mo...This paper presents the design of an asymmetrically variable wingtip anhedral angles morphing aircraft,inspired by biomimetic mechanisms,to enhance lateral maneuver capability.Firstly,we establish a lateral dynamic model considering additional forces and moments resulting during the morphing process,and convert it into a Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO)virtual control system by importing virtual inputs.Secondly,a classical dynamics inversion controller is designed for the outer-loop system.A new Global Fast Terminal Incremental Sliding Mode Controller(NDO-GFTISMC)is proposed for the inner-loop system,in which an adaptive law is implemented to weaken control surface chattering,and a Nonlinear Disturbance Observer(NDO)is integrated to compensate for unknown disturbances.The whole control system is proven semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded based on the multi-Lyapunov function method.Furthermore,we consider tracking errors and self-characteristics of actuators,a quadratic programmingbased dynamic control allocation law is designed,which allocates virtual control inputs to the asymmetrically deformed wingtip and rudder.Actuator dynamic models are incorporated to ensure physical realizability of designed allocation law.Finally,comparative experimental results validate the effectiveness of the designed control system and control allocation law.The NDO-GFTISMC features faster convergence,stronger robustness,and 81.25%and 75.0%reduction in maximum state tracking error under uncertainty compared to the Incremental Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion Controller based on NDO(NDO-INDI)and Incremental Sliding Mode Controller based on NDO(NDO-ISMC),respectively.The design of the morphing aircraft significantly enhances lateral maneuver capability,maintaining a substantial control margin during lateral maneuvering,reducing the burden of the rudder surface,and effectively solving the actuator saturation problem of traditional aircraft during lateral maneuvering.展开更多
Aircraft disturbs the adjacent atmospheric environment in flight,forming spatial distribution features of atmospheric density that differ from the natural background,which may potentially be utilized as tracer charact...Aircraft disturbs the adjacent atmospheric environment in flight,forming spatial distribution features of atmospheric density that differ from the natural background,which may potentially be utilized as tracer characteristics to introduce new technologies for indirectly sensing the presence of aircraft.In this paper,the concept of a long-range aircraft detection based on the atmospheric disturbance density field is proposed,and the detection mode of tomographic imaging of the scattering light of an atmospheric disturbance flow field is designed.By modeling the spatial distribution of the disturbance density field,the scattered echo signal images of active light towards the disturbance field at long distance are simulated.On this basis,the characteristics of the disturbance optical signal at the optimal detection resolution are analyzed.The results show that the atmospheric disturbance flow field of the supersonic aircraft presents circular in the light-scattering echo images.The disturbance signal can be further highlighted by differential processing of the adjacent scattering images.As the distance behind the aircraft increases,the diffusion range of the disturbance signal increases,and the signal intensity and contrast with the background decrease.Under the ground-based observation conditions of the aircraft at a height of 10000 m,a Mach number of1.6,and a detection distance of 100 km,the contrast between the disturbance signal and the back-ground was 30 d B at a distance of one time from the rear of the fuselage,and the diffusion diameter of the disturbance signal was 50 m.At a distance eight times the length of the aircraft,the contrast decreased to 10 dB,and the diameter increased to 290 m.The contrast was reduced to 3 dB at a distance nine times the length of the aircraft,and the diameter was diffused to 310 m.These results indicate the possibility of long-range aircraft detection based on the characteristics of the atmospheric density field.展开更多
The technology of electric propulsion aircraft(EPA)represents an important direction and an advanced stage in the development of aviation electrification.It is a key pathway for green development in aviation industry ...The technology of electric propulsion aircraft(EPA)represents an important direction and an advanced stage in the development of aviation electrification.It is a key pathway for green development in aviation industry and can significantly enhance the energy efficiency of aircraft propulsion system.Electric motor is the most critical electromechanical energy conversion component in an aircraft electric propulsion system(EPS).High-performance electric motors,power electronic converters and EPS control form the foundation of the EPA.This paper provides an overview of the characteristics of electric motors for EPA,analyzes the inverter topologies of EPSs,and reviews ongoing EPA projects.The article highlights the latest advancements in three types of motors:superconducting motors(SCMs),permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs),and induction motors(IMs).It summarizes the control system architectures of current EPA initiatives and,building on this foundation,proposes future research directions for EPSs.These include cutting-edge areas such as high-performance motors and advanced manufacturing technologies,Ga N-or Si C-based inverter integration and innovation,electric propulsion control systems,and optimization of wiring systems.展开更多

文摘In the flight process of aircrafts, their electromechanical actuators(EMA) must have the ability of enduring uncertainties caused by factors such as load disturbance, the variation of work temperature and the EMA's nonlinearity. At present, in order to increase the EMA's robustness on the uncertainties, the H, control method has been applied in aircrafts. The major problems with standard H∞ control lie in the large overshoot of step response and the high orders of the controller. For the purpose of addressing the two problems, this paper investigates several kinds of robust control strategies of the EMA. A mathematical model of the EMA is first built, and then with MATLAB software a H∞ controller and an improved hybrid robust controller composed of a reduced order H∞controller and a lead compensator are designed. In order to make a scientific comparison of the control effects of H∞ controller, hybrid controller and classic proportion-integral-differential(PID) controller, a simulation research is made in respect of the open loop frequency response and the closed loop step response of the three controllers. For comparing the robustness of the three controllers, the load torque is entered as a disturbance and the disturbance response of error and control input are thus obtained. The experiments with the three controllers are also conducted. Through giving the EMA a command and a disturbance torque successively, the transient response and disturbing process of EMA are recorded. The simulation and experiment results show that with the help of the hybrid controller, the EMA not only guarantees good dynamic characteristics, but also has strong robustness of disturbance rejection. Therefore, the excogitated H∞ hybrid control method effectively solves the problem of large overshoot in dynamic response, and moderately meets the requirement of overcoming the uncertainties in the EMA of aircrafts.

文摘Configuration evaluation is a key technology to be considered in the design of multiple aircrafts formation(MAF)configurations with high dynamic properties in engineering applications.This paper deduces the relationship between relative velocity,dynamic safety distance and dynamic adjacent distance of formation members,then divides the formation states into collision-state and matching-state.Meanwhile,probability models are constructed based on the binary normal distribution of relative distance and relative velocity.Moreover,configuration evaluation strategies are studied by quantitatively analyzing the denseness and the basic capabilities according to the MAF collision-state probability and the MAF matching-state probability,respectively.The scale of MAF is grouped into 5 levels,and previous lattice-type structures are extended into four degrees by taking the relative velocities into account to instruct the configuration design under complex task conditions.Finally,hardware-in-loop(HIL)simulation and outfield flight test results are presented to verify the feasibility of these evaluation strategies.
文摘A new calculating method of aerodynamic heating for unsteady hypersonic aircrafts with complex configuration is presented.This method,which considers the effects of high temperature chemical non-equilibrium and the heat transfer process in thermal protection structure,is based on the combination of the inviscid outerflow solution and the engineering method,where the Euler solver provides the flow parameters on boundary layer edge for engineering method in aerodynamic heating calculation.A high efficient interpolation technique,which can be applied to the fast computation of longtime aerodynamic heating for hypersonic aircraft,is developed for flying trajectory.In this paper,three hypersonic test cases are calculated,and the heat flux and temperature distribution of thermo-protection system are shown.The numerical results show the high efficiency of the developed method and the validation of thermal characteristics analysis on hypersonic aerodynamic heating.
文摘Reducing greenhouse gases, saving energy resources and mass optimization require technological changes towards increasingly electric vehicles. At the same time, performance improvement of semiconductor and dielectric materials further promotes electronic components confinement, resulting in a significant increase of embedded power densities. In the particular case of future hybrid propulsion aircrafts, electrical power that intended to supply reactors would be converted through power electronics components mounted on power busbars and insulated by solid dielectrics materials. These dielectrics materials have to respond to various electrical constraints of use (HVDC), in spite of environment change of aircraft parameters such as low pressure, temperature and thermal cycles, humidity... Unfortunately, partial discharges phenomenon is the most problem within electrical insulation system (EIS). Based on a topological model of power busbars designed for power converters dedicated to hybrid aircraft, partial discharge studies were conducted by simulation in various charging conditions of a PTFE insulator. Simulation results, which focus on electric field thresholds criteria of partial discharge inception voltage in air, reveal a net sensitivity of a space charge accumulation and distribution on dielectrics behaviour even for low space charge density, depending on their location in dielectrics. Compared to the behaviour observed with implanted homocharges, when by increasing homocharges density from 0.5 C/m3 to 2 C/m3 we observe a decrease of electric field by 450%, simulation results show a highest risk of partial discharge inception when heterocharges are accumulated inside dielectrics. Their accumulation increases the electric field in triple points beyond electric field thresholds of partial discharge inception in air. The simulated electric field reaching 22 kV/mm with only 2 C/m3 of heterocharges density accumulated in dielectric/busbars interfaces.

文摘The core components of an aircraft and the source of its lift are its wings,but lift generation is disrupted by the high temperature and pressure generated on the wing surface when an aircraft gun is fired.Here,to investigate how this process influences the aerodynamic parameters of aircraft wings,the k-ωshearstress-transport turbulence model and the nested dynamic grid technique are used to analyze numerically the transient process of the muzzle jet of a 30-mm small-caliber aircraft gun in highaltitude(10 km)flight with an incoming Mach number of Ma=0.8.For comparison,two other models are established,one with no projectile and the other with no wing.The results indicate that when the aircraft gun is fired,the muzzle jet acts on the wing,creating a pressure field thereon.The uneven distribution of high pressure greatly reduces the lift of the aircraft,causing oscillations in its drag and disrupting its dynamic balance,thereby affecting its flight speed and attitude.Meanwhile,the muzzle jet is obstructed by the wing,and its flow field is distorted and deformed,developing upward toward the wing.Because of the influence of the incoming flow,the shockwave front of the projectile changes from a smooth spherical shape to an irregular one,and the motion parameters of the projectile are also greatly affected by oscillations.The present results provide an important theoretical basis for how the guns of fighter aircraft influence the aerodynamic performance of the wings.

文摘Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in operator workloads and significantly increase the complexity of scheduling.To address this challenge,this study investigates the Aircraft Pulsating Assembly Line Scheduling Problem(APALSP)under skilled operator allocation,with the objective of minimizing assembly completion time.A mathematical model considering skilled operator allocation is developed,and a Q-Learning improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(QLPSO)is proposed.In the algorithm design,a reverse scheduling strategy is adopted to effectively manage large-scale precedence constraints.Moreover,a reverse sequence encoding method is introduced to generate operation sequences,while a time decoding mechanism is employed to determine completion times.The problem is further reformulated as a Markov Decision Process(MDP)with explicitly defined state and action spaces.Within QLPSO,the Q-learning mechanism adaptively adjusts inertia weights and learning factors,thereby achieving a balance between exploration capability and convergence performance.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,extensive computational experiments are conducted on benchmark instances of different scales,including small,medium,large,and ultra-large cases.The results demonstrate that QLPSO consistently delivers stable and high-quality solutions across all scenarios.In ultra-large-scale instances,it improves the best solution by 25.2%compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and enhances the average solution by 16.9%over the Q-learning algorithm,showing clear advantages over the comparative methods.These findings not only confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm but also provide valuable theoretical references and practical guidance for the intelligent scheduling optimization of aircraft pulsating assembly lines.
文摘Fluidic Thrust Vectoring(FTV)is used for the yaw attitude control of tailless flying wing,which can significantly improve stealth performance,maneuverability and lateral/heading maneuverability.The FTV control scheme of co-directional secondary flow was designed based on a 30 kgf thrust turbojet engine,an equivalent rudder deflection control variable of Mass Flow Combination(MFC)was proposed,and a control model was established to form a FTV control system scheme,which was integrated with the flight control system of a 100 kg tailless flying wing with medium aspect ratio to achieve closed-loop control of the yaw attitude based on FTV.The heading stability augmentation and maneuvering control characteristics and time response characteristics of tailless flying wing by FTV were quantitatively studied through virtual flight test in a wind tunnel at a wind speed of 35 m/s.The results show that the control strategy based on MFC achieves bidirectional continuous and stable control of thrust vector angle in a range of±11°,and the thrust vector angle varies monotonically with MFC;the co-directional FTV realizes bidirectional continuous and stable control of the yaw attitude of tailless flying wing,without longitudinal/lateral coupling moment.The increment of the maximum yawing moment coefficient is 0.0029,the maximum yaw rate is 7.55(°)/s,and the response time of the yaw rate of the vectoring nozzle actuated by the secondary flow is about 0.06 s,which satisfies the heading stability augmentation and maneuvering control response requirements of the aircraft with statically unstable heading,and provides new control means for the heading rudderless attitude control of tailless flying wing.

文摘Microbial contamination and the resulting corrosion in aircraft fuel system pose a serious threat to flight safety.Revealing the corrosion behavior and mechanism of fuel-degrading microorganisms on tank materials is crucial for developing effective mitigation strategies.In this study,the corrosion mechanisms of two representative hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria,Alcanivorax dieselolei and Microbacterium oxydans,toward AA7075 aluminum alloy,were systematically investigated.A combination of biofilm characterization,electrochemical testing,and surface/corrosion product characterization was employed.Both strains markedly accelerated the corrosion of AA7075,as evidence by the progressive decrease in polarization resistance and the pronounced rightward shift of the potentiodynamic polarization curves.Moreover,the difference between the pitting potential(E_(pit))and the corrosion potential(E_(corr))(ΔE=E_(pit)‒E_(corr))decreased due to microbial activities,indicating a pronounced tendency toward accelerated pitting corrosion.Corrosion morphology analysis revealed that both microbes promoted localized pitting corrosion.Furthermore,analysis of aviation kerosene composition indicated that both bacteria accelerated the degradation of C8 and C9 alkanes.These findings highlight the multiple threats of microbial contamination,material degradation,and fuel quality deterioration in fuel systems and underscore the need for targeted protection strategies for marine aviation operations.
文摘The proliferation of carrier aircraft and the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)on aircraft carriers present new challenges to the automation of launch and recovery operations.This paper investigates a collaborative scheduling problem inherent to the operational processes of carrier aircraft,where launch and recovery tasks are conducted concurrently on the flight deck.The objective is to minimize the cumulative weighted waiting time in the air for recovering aircraft and the cumulative weighted delay time for launching aircraft.To tackle this challenge,a multiple population self-adaptive differential evolution(MPSADE)algorithm is proposed.This method features a self-adaptive parameter updating mechanism that is contingent upon population diversity,an asynchronous updating scheme,an individual migration operator,and a global crossover mechanism.Additionally,comprehensive experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.Ultimately,a comparative analysis with existing operation modes confirms the enhanced efficiency of the collaborative operation mode.

文摘The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input multi-output,nonlinearity,and strong coupling presents significant challenges.The substantial internal force generated during the adjustment process can potentially damage the LAC and degrade the assembly quality.Hence,a workspace-based hybrid force position control scheme was developed to achieve high quality assembly with high-precision and lower internal force.Firstly,an offline workspace analysis with inherent geometric characteristics to form time-varying posture error constraint.Then,the posture error is integrated into the online position axis control to ensure tracking the ideal posture,while the force control axis compensates for posture deviation by minimizing internal force,thereby achieving high precision and low internal force.Finally,the effectiveness was demonstrated through experiments.The root mean square errors of orientation and position are 104 rad and 0.1 mm,respectively.A reduction in internal force can range from 10.96%to 57.4%compared to the traditional method.Key points'max position error is decreased from 0.32 mm to 0.18 mm,satisfying the 0.5 mm tolerance.Therefore,the proposed method will help promote the development of high-performance manufacturing.

文摘The highly dynamic nature,strong uncertainty,and coupled multiple safety constraints inherent in carrier aircraft recovery operations pose severe challenges for real-time decision-making.Addressing bolter scenarios,this study proposes an intelligent decision-making framework based on a deep long short-term memory Q-network.This framework transforms the real-time sequencing for bolter recovery problem into a partially observable Markov decision process.It employs a stacked long shortterm memory network to accurately capture the long-range temporal dependencies of bolter event chains and fuel consumption.Furthermore,it integrates a prioritized experience replay training mechanism to construct a safe and adaptive scheduling system capable of millisecond-level real-time decision-making.Experimental demonstrates that,within large-scale mass recovery scenarios,the framework achieves zero safety violations in static environments and maintains a fuel safety violation rate below 10%in dynamic scenarios,with single-step decision times at the millisecond level.The model exhibits strong generalization capability,effectively responding to unforeseen emergent situations—such as multiple bolters and fuel emergencies—without requiring retraining.This provides robust support for efficient carrier-based aircraft recovery operations.
文摘The evolution of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)into a pandemic has severely hampered the usage of public transit systems.In a post-COVID-19 world,we may see an increased reliance on autonomous cars and personal rapid transit(PRT)systems,with inherent physical distancing,over buses,trains and aircraft for intracity,intercity,and interstate travel.However,air travel would continue to be the dominant mode of intercontinental transportation for humans.In this study,we perform a comprehensive computational analysis,using ANSYS Fluent,of typical intercontinental aircraft ventilation systems to determine the seat where environmental factors are most conducive to human comfort with regards to air quality,protection from orally or nasally released pollutants such as CO_(2)and coronavirus,and thermal comfort levels.Air velocity,temperature,and air pollutant concentration emitted from the nose/mouth of fellow travelers are considered for both Boeing and Airbus planes.In each plane,first class,business class,and economy class sections were analyzed.We present conclusions as to which is the optimum seat in each section of each plane and provide the data of the environmental conditions to support our inferences.The findings may be used by the general public to decide which seat to occupy for their next intercontinental flight.Alternatively,the commercial airliners can use such a model to plan the occupancy of the aircraft on long-duration intercontinental flights(viz.,Airbus A380 and Boeing B747).
文摘Faults in a DC aircraft power system typically lead to serious equipment damage,which severely threatens the safety of the whole aircraft system.A fast and accurate real-time fault detection scheme is necessary for aircraft power systems to provide high reliability in the system.In this paper,a new fault detection device(FDD)is proposed based on the comb filter and second derivative of the system voltage to detect both low and highimpedance faults(HIFs)in a fast way.The proposed method utilizes the comb filter in the middle of the two first derivatives to detect both high and low-impedance faults within several microseconds.For demonstrating the efficiency,authenticity,and compatibility of the proposed method,digital time-domain simulations are carried out and verified by real-time simulations using an OPAL-RT simulator under different scenarios such as low-and high-impedance fault,overload,and motor starting to verify distinguishing between non-fault disturbances and faults.The results,which are compared with reported methods,prove the accuracy and speed of the proposed FDD in a DC aircraft.

文摘The design of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)revolves around the careful selection of materials that are both lightweight and robust.Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)emerged as an ideal option for wing construction,with its mechanical qualities thoroughly investigated.In this study,we developed and optimized a conceptual UAV wing to withstand structural loads by establishing progressive composite stacking sequences,and we conducted a series of experimental characterizations on the resulting material.In the optimization phase,the objective was defined as weight reduction,while the Hashin damage criterion was established as the constraint for the optimization process.The optimization algorithm adaptively monitors regional damage criterion values,implementing necessary adjustments to facilitate the mitigation process in a cost-effective manner.Optimization of the analytical model using Simulia Abaqus~(TM)and a Python-based user-defined sub-routine resulted in a 34.7%reduction in the wing's structural weight after 45 iterative rounds.Then,the custom-developed optimization algorithm was compared with a genetic algorithm optimization.This comparison has demonstrated that,although the genetic algorithm explores numerous possibilities through hybridization,the custom-developed algorithm is more result-oriented and achieves optimization in a reduced number of steps.To validate the structural analysis,test specimens were fabricated from the wing's most critically loaded segment,utilizing the identical stacking sequence employed in the optimization studies.Rigorous mechanical testing revealed unexpectedly high compressive strength,while tensile and bending strengths fell within expected ranges.All observed failure loads remained within the established safety margins,thereby confirming the reliability of the analytical predictions.

文摘Safe and efficient sortie scheduling on the confined flight deck is crucial for maintaining high combat effectiveness of the aircraft carrier.The primary difficulty exactly lies in the spatiotemporal coordination,i.e.,allocation of limited supporting resources and collision-avoidance between heterogeneous dispatch entities.In this paper,the problem is investigated in the perspective of hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem by synthesizing the precedence,space and resource constraints.Specifically,eight processing procedures are abstracted,where tractors,preparing spots,catapults,and launching are virtualized as machines.By analyzing the constraints in sortie scheduling,a mixed-integer planning model is constructed.In particular,the constraint on preparing spot occupancy is improved to further enhance the sortie efficiency.The basic trajectory library for each dispatch entity is generated and a delayed strategy is integrated to address the collision-avoidance issue.To efficiently solve the formulated HFSP,which is essentially a combinatorial problem with tightly coupled constraints,a chaos-initialized genetic algorithm is developed.The solution framework is validated by the simulation environment referring to the Fort-class carrier,exhibiting higher sortie efficiency when compared to existing strategies.And animation of the simulation results is available at www.bilibili.com/video/BV14t421A7Tt/.The study presents a promising supporting technique for autonomous flight deck operation in the foreseeable future,and can be easily extended to other supporting scenarios,e.g.,ammunition delivery and aircraft maintenance.

文摘This paper presents the design of an asymmetrically variable wingtip anhedral angles morphing aircraft,inspired by biomimetic mechanisms,to enhance lateral maneuver capability.Firstly,we establish a lateral dynamic model considering additional forces and moments resulting during the morphing process,and convert it into a Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO)virtual control system by importing virtual inputs.Secondly,a classical dynamics inversion controller is designed for the outer-loop system.A new Global Fast Terminal Incremental Sliding Mode Controller(NDO-GFTISMC)is proposed for the inner-loop system,in which an adaptive law is implemented to weaken control surface chattering,and a Nonlinear Disturbance Observer(NDO)is integrated to compensate for unknown disturbances.The whole control system is proven semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded based on the multi-Lyapunov function method.Furthermore,we consider tracking errors and self-characteristics of actuators,a quadratic programmingbased dynamic control allocation law is designed,which allocates virtual control inputs to the asymmetrically deformed wingtip and rudder.Actuator dynamic models are incorporated to ensure physical realizability of designed allocation law.Finally,comparative experimental results validate the effectiveness of the designed control system and control allocation law.The NDO-GFTISMC features faster convergence,stronger robustness,and 81.25%and 75.0%reduction in maximum state tracking error under uncertainty compared to the Incremental Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion Controller based on NDO(NDO-INDI)and Incremental Sliding Mode Controller based on NDO(NDO-ISMC),respectively.The design of the morphing aircraft significantly enhances lateral maneuver capability,maintaining a substantial control margin during lateral maneuvering,reducing the burden of the rudder surface,and effectively solving the actuator saturation problem of traditional aircraft during lateral maneuvering.
文摘Aircraft disturbs the adjacent atmospheric environment in flight,forming spatial distribution features of atmospheric density that differ from the natural background,which may potentially be utilized as tracer characteristics to introduce new technologies for indirectly sensing the presence of aircraft.In this paper,the concept of a long-range aircraft detection based on the atmospheric disturbance density field is proposed,and the detection mode of tomographic imaging of the scattering light of an atmospheric disturbance flow field is designed.By modeling the spatial distribution of the disturbance density field,the scattered echo signal images of active light towards the disturbance field at long distance are simulated.On this basis,the characteristics of the disturbance optical signal at the optimal detection resolution are analyzed.The results show that the atmospheric disturbance flow field of the supersonic aircraft presents circular in the light-scattering echo images.The disturbance signal can be further highlighted by differential processing of the adjacent scattering images.As the distance behind the aircraft increases,the diffusion range of the disturbance signal increases,and the signal intensity and contrast with the background decrease.Under the ground-based observation conditions of the aircraft at a height of 10000 m,a Mach number of1.6,and a detection distance of 100 km,the contrast between the disturbance signal and the back-ground was 30 d B at a distance of one time from the rear of the fuselage,and the diffusion diameter of the disturbance signal was 50 m.At a distance eight times the length of the aircraft,the contrast decreased to 10 dB,and the diameter increased to 290 m.The contrast was reduced to 3 dB at a distance nine times the length of the aircraft,and the diameter was diffused to 310 m.These results indicate the possibility of long-range aircraft detection based on the characteristics of the atmospheric density field.

文摘The technology of electric propulsion aircraft(EPA)represents an important direction and an advanced stage in the development of aviation electrification.It is a key pathway for green development in aviation industry and can significantly enhance the energy efficiency of aircraft propulsion system.Electric motor is the most critical electromechanical energy conversion component in an aircraft electric propulsion system(EPS).High-performance electric motors,power electronic converters and EPS control form the foundation of the EPA.This paper provides an overview of the characteristics of electric motors for EPA,analyzes the inverter topologies of EPSs,and reviews ongoing EPA projects.The article highlights the latest advancements in three types of motors:superconducting motors(SCMs),permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs),and induction motors(IMs).It summarizes the control system architectures of current EPA initiatives and,building on this foundation,proposes future research directions for EPSs.These include cutting-edge areas such as high-performance motors and advanced manufacturing technologies,Ga N-or Si C-based inverter integration and innovation,electric propulsion control systems,and optimization of wiring systems.
