A three-dimensional charge^lischarge numerical model is used, in a semi-idealized mode, to simulate a thunder- storm cell. Characteristics of the granpel microphysics and vertical air motion associated with the lightning initiation are revealed, which could be useful in retrieving charge strength during lightning when no charge^diseharge model is available, The results show that the vertical air motion at the lightning initiation sites (Wini) has a cubic polynomial correlation with the maximum updraft of the storm cell (WceH_m^x), with the adjusted regression coefficient R2 of ap- proximately 0.97. Meanwhile, the graupel mixing ratio at the lightning initiation sites (qg-ini) has a linear correlation with the maximum graupel mixing ratio of the storm cell (qg-cell-max) and the initiation height (Zini), with the coeffi- cients being 0.86 and 0.85, respectively. These linear correlations are more significant during the middle and late stages of lightning activity. A zero-charge zone, namely, the area with very low net charge density between the main positive and negative charge layers, appears above the area of qg-oewm and below the upper edge of the granpel re- gion, and is found to be an important area for lightning initiation. Inside the zero-charge zone, large electric intensity forms, and the ratio of qice (ice crystal mixing ratio) to qg (graupel mixing ratio) illustrates an exponential relation- ship to qg-ini. These relationships provide valuable clues to more accurately locating the high-risk area of lightning initiation in thunderstorms when only dual-polarization radar data or outputs from numerical models without char- ging/discharging schemes are available. The results can also help understand the environmental conditions at light- ning initiation sites. 展开更多

A flux system deployed on a moored buoy has been described, which is capable of directly estimating the airsea fluxes after removing the contamination in the signal due to buoy motion. A triple loop fitting method has been demonstrated for determining the three angular offsets between measurement axes of the sonic anemometer and motion pack. The data collected in an experiment in the Northern Huanghai Sea is used to correct the three sonic anemometer measurements of turbulent wind for buoy motion. The effective removal of wave-scale motion from the spectra and cospectra are demonstrated. Estimates of along-wind momentum flux, sensible heat flux and latent heat flux calculated by the eddy correlation method based on data obtained by sonic anemometer 81000V are shown to be in the same trend and scale with those determined by the bulk aerodynamic method after motion correction. The motion correction not only greatly improve the estimation of the momentum flux but also has a great impact on the calculated sensible heat flux. 展开更多

Based on gas–liquid flow VOF model, dynamic mesh technique and deformation data, numerical simulations for different structure models were achieved, and the law of water motion and influencing factors were analyzed.The results show that the flow in the length direction of the jig is smooth, and second pulsation appears in the separation time and forms the secondary separation. The installation position of screen and the number of air bags have a great influence on the uniformity of flow and velocity. The screen height cannot be too low to avoid forming the unstable flow. At the same time, the screen height cannot be too high, otherwise water velocity will be too small and was unable to provide enough power. At the height of 1.4m,velocity unevenness is minimum and the best uniform flow can be obtained. Compared with double air bags, there are the following features of single air bag: water flow is not smooth, the time achieving the maximum velocity is too long, maximum velocity is smaller, and overall effect is worse than double air bags. 展开更多

针对传统的车辆空气悬架高压空气供给系统存在结构复杂、动力传动效率低等问题,提出了一体化结构的滑片式电动空气泵技术,将驱动电机与滑片式空气泵集成设计,实现电能与气压能的直接转换,形成一种高效、紧凑的新型电动空气泵。通过ADAM... 针对传统的车辆空气悬架高压空气供给系统存在结构复杂、动力传动效率低等问题,提出了一体化结构的滑片式电动空气泵技术,将驱动电机与滑片式空气泵集成设计,实现电能与气压能的直接转换,形成一种高效、紧凑的新型电动空气泵。通过ADAMS软件平台对铰接滑片的牵连运动进行建模和运动特性分析,结果表明,铰接滑片质心径向位移呈现简谐运动变化趋势,铰接滑片质心的运动轨迹为椭圆形,铰接滑片质心的速度和加速度均呈现出正弦变化趋势,特别是在初始阶段出现了明显的波动。对铰接滑片球头尺寸和铰接滑片球头与泵外转子中心距离进行优化。当电机处于稳定状态,铰接滑片球头半径为1.7 mm时的泵内转子角加速度比半径为1.6 mm时降低60.00%;铰接滑片球头半径为1.8 mm时的泵内转子角加速度比半径为1.6 mm时降低99.97%,铰接滑片在可选择范围内的铰接滑片球头越大,牵连运动系统越稳定。铰接滑片球头与泵外转子中心之间的距离在其取值范围内取值越大越利于运动的稳定。 展开更多

An air damper possesses the advantages that there are no long term changes in the damping properties, there is no dependence on working temperature and additionally, it has less manufacturing and maintenance costs. As such, an air damper has been designed and developed based on the Maxwell type model concept in the approach of Nishihara and Asami [1]. The cylinder-piston and air-tank type damper characteristics such as air damping ratio and air spring rate have been studied by changing the length and diameter of the capillary pipe between the air cylinder and the air tank, operating air pressure and the air tank volume. A SDOF quarter-car vehicle suspension system using the developed air enclosed cylinder-piston and air-tank type damper has been analyzed for its motion transmissibility characteristics. Optimal values of the air damping ratio at various values of air spring rate have been determined for minimum motion transmissibility of the sprung mass. An experimental setup has been developed for SDOF quarter-car suspension system model using the developed air enclosed cylinder-piston and air-tank type damper to determine the motion transmissibility characteristics of the sprung mass. An attendant air pressure control system has been designed to vary air damping in the developed air damper. The results of the theoretical analysis have been compared with the experimental analysis. 展开更多

Precise measurements of the CO2 gas transfer across the air-sea interface provide a better under- standing of the global carbon cycle. The air-sea CO2 fluxes are obtained by the eddy covariance method and the bulk method from a buoy observation in the northern Huanghai sea. The effects of buoy motion on flux calculated by the eddy covariance method are demonstrated. The research shows that a motion correction can improve the correlation coefficient between the C02 fluxes esti- mated from two different levels. Without the CO2-H20 cross-correlation correction which is termed as PKT correction, the air-sea CO2 fluxes estimated by eddy covariance method using the motion corrected data are nearly an order of magnitude larger than those estimated by the bulk method. After the CO2-H20 cross-correlation correction, some eddy covariance CO2 fluxes indeed become closer to the bulk CO2 flux, whereas some are overcorrected which are in response to small water vapor flux. 展开更多

In this paper, it is shown that, a road vehicle 2DOF air damped quartercar suspension system can conveniently be transformed into a 2DOF air damped vibrating system representing an air damped dynamic vibration absorber (DVA) with an appropriate change in the ratio μ of the main mass and the absorber mass i.e. when mass ratio μ >> 1. Also the effect of variation of the mass ratio, air damping ratio and air spring rate ratio, on the motion transmissibility at the resonant frequency of the main mass of the DVA has been dis- cussed. It is shown that, as the air damping ratio in the absorber system increases, there is a substantial decrease in the motion transmissibility of the main mass system where the air damper has been modeled as a Maxwell type. Optimal value of the air damping ratio for the minimum motion transmissibility of the main mass of the system has been determined. An experimental setup has been designed and developed with a control system to vary air pressure in the damper in the absorber system. The motion transmissibility characteristics of the main mass system have been obtained, and the optimal value of the air damping ratio has been determined for minimum motion transmissibility of the main mass of the 展开更多

Some Characteristics of the Surface Boundary Layer of a Strong Cold Air Process over Southern China 被引量:2

In southern China, cold air is a common weather process during the winter season; it can cause strong wind, sharp temperature decreases, and even the snow or freezing rain events. However, the features of the atmospheric boundary layer during cold air passage are not clearly understood due to the lack of comprehensive observation data, especially regarding turbulence. In this study, four-layer gradient meteorological observation data and one-layer, 10-Hz ultrasonic anemometer-thermometer monitoring data from the northern side of Poyang Lake were employed to study the main features of the surface boundary layer during a strong cold-air passage over southern China. The results show that, with the passage of a cold air front, the wind speed exhibits low-frequency variations and that the wind systematically descends. During the strong wind period, the wind speed increases with height in the surface layer. Regular gust packets are superimposed on the basic strong wind flow. Before the passage of cold air, the wind gusts exhibit a coherent structure. The wind and turbulent momentum fluxes are small, although the gusty wind momentum flux is slightly larger than the turbulent momentum flux. However, during the invasion of cold air, both the gusty wind and turbulent momentum fluxes increase rapidly with wind speed, and the turbulent momentum flux is larger than the gusty wind momentum flux during the strong wind period. The motion of a single spherical small bubble due to buoyancy in the ideal fluid with waves is investigated theoretically and experimentally in this article. Assuming that the bubble has no effect on the wave field, equations of a bubble motion are obtained and solved. It is found that the nonlinear effect increases with the increase of the bubble radius and the rising time. The rising time and the motion orbit are given by calculations and experiments. When the radius of a bubble is smaller than 0.5mm and the distance from the free surface is greater than the wave height, the results of the present theory are in close agreement with measurements. 展开更多

为明确喷气涡流纺纺纱过程中加捻腔内的气流变化和纤维运动规律,对引纱过程和稳定纺纱过程中的气流和纤维运动进行模拟研究。结果表明:高速旋转气流的卷吸作用使得喷嘴入口形成负压气流吸入纤维,还导致加捻腔出现向上运动的气流,在纤维... 为明确喷气涡流纺纺纱过程中加捻腔内的气流变化和纤维运动规律,对引纱过程和稳定纺纱过程中的气流和纤维运动进行模拟研究。结果表明:高速旋转气流的卷吸作用使得喷嘴入口形成负压气流吸入纤维,还导致加捻腔出现向上运动的气流,在纤维输入通道内形成回流区域。引纱纺纱过程中喷嘴加捻腔内的气流场分布规律与纺纱阶段下的分布规律相似,但是受到空心管内的气流影响,越靠近空心锭口,负压值和气流速度就越大,越靠近导引针,梯度越不明显,在引纱通道内有明显的压力、速度梯度分布。在纺纱过程中纤维在喷嘴内的运动分为4个阶段,分别对应纤维输入通道进出口、加捻腔进出口、空心锭表面停留和引纱管进出口。从纤维输入通道进口到出口纤维速度逐渐增大,进入加捻腔后加速度进一步增大,速度更快,继续向前接触空心锭表面在进入引纱管前,纤维速度逐渐降低,进入引纱管后速度提高并在引纱管出口达到最大;在引纱过程纤维速度变化与此类似。 展开更多

We investigated respiratory tumor motion in lung stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) with use of the “Air-Bag System”. 114 patients underwent four-dimensional (4D) computed tomography (CT) from October 2010 to April 2012. Gross tumor volume (GTV) was 8.1 ± 11.0 cc (range 0.3 - 77.5 cc). The tumor site was the upper and middle lobes in 62 cases, and lower lobe in 52 cases. The Air-Bag SystemTM consists of an inelastic air bag connected to a second smaller elastic air bag. The inelastic air bag is placed between the patient’s body surface and a HipFix and is secured by pressure adjustment via the elastic air bag. To assess respiratory tumor motion, the centroid of the tumor position is measured in the left-right, anterior-posterior, and caudal-cranial directions using the iPlan RT DoseTM treatment planning system. Respiratory tumor motion vector for patients with upper/middle and lower lobe tumors was 3.0 ± 2.2 mm (range, 0.4 - 11.7 mm) and 6.5 ± 4.6 mm (range, 0.4 - 22.0 mm) respectively, with this difference being significant (p < 0.05). Mean respiratory tumor motion for all patients was 0.9 ± 0.6 mm (range, 0.1 - 3.6 mm) in the left-right direction, 1.5 ± 1.1 mm (range, 0.1 - 5.7 mm) in the anterior-posterior direction, 4.1 ± 4.0 mm (range, 0.1 - 21.4 mm) in the caudal-cranial direction, and 4.7 ± 4.0 mm (range, 0.4 - 22.0 mm) overall. It combines the benefits of inverse dynamics optimization method and receding horizon optimal control technique. Firstly, the ground attack trajectory planning problem is mathematically formulated as a receding horizon optimal control problem (RHC-OCP). In particular, an approximate elliptic launch acceptable region (LAR) model is proposed to model the critical weapon delivery constraints. Secondly, a planning algorithm based on inverse dynamics optimization, which has high computational efficiency and good convergence properties, is developed to solve the RHCOCP in real-time. Thirdly, in order to improve robustness and adaptivity in a dynamic and uncer- tain environment, a two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) receding horizon control architecture is introduced and a regular real-time update strategy is proposed as well, and the real-time feedback can be achieved and the not-converged situations can be handled. Finally, numerical simulations demon- strate the efficiency of this framework, and the results also show that the presented technique is well suited for real-time implementation in dynamic and uncertain environment. 展开更多

在NX Motion中建立了某类型万能式断路器机构的动力学仿真模型,根据实际情况建立了运动副、接触、弹簧等。通过对万能式断路器动力学仿真分析,获得了万能式断路器的主轴转角、合分闸时间、上下连杆夹角、终压力、开距、超程、储能力矩... 在NX Motion中建立了某类型万能式断路器机构的动力学仿真模型,根据实际情况建立了运动副、接触、弹簧等。通过对万能式断路器动力学仿真分析,获得了万能式断路器的主轴转角、合分闸时间、上下连杆夹角、终压力、开距、超程、储能力矩、脱扣力等性能参数。通过上下连杆夹角分析可知,上下连杆合闸过程经过死点位置。通过仿真结果和试验结果进行对比,验证了仿真结果的准确性,为万能式断路器的设计和优化提供了参考和依据。万能式断路器动力学仿真技术相对传统方法,缩短开发周期,降低研发成本。 展开更多

针对排种器在高速作业时容易出现漏播等问题,以气吸式排种器和棉花种子为研究对象,通过高速摄像对排种器工作过程进行拍摄,拍摄得到的视频用TEMA软件分析处理。结果表明,棉花种子在排种器携种弧段共有3种吸附姿态,一是姿态A,棉花种子大... 针对排种器在高速作业时容易出现漏播等问题,以气吸式排种器和棉花种子为研究对象,通过高速摄像对排种器工作过程进行拍摄,拍摄得到的视频用TEMA软件分析处理。结果表明,棉花种子在排种器携种弧段共有3种吸附姿态,一是姿态A,棉花种子大头端被吸住;二是姿态B,棉花种子小头端被吸住;三是姿态C,棉花种子椭圆面被吸住。理论计算显示,维持姿态B所需要吸力最小,在真空度压强相同情况下,以姿态B吸附时棉花种子最为稳定。棉花种子速度、加速度图像分析表明,棉花种子以姿态A、姿态C被吸附时速度不稳定,以姿态B被吸附时速度比较稳定,并且存在姿态A、姿态C向姿态B转变现象。研究结果表明,姿态B是最佳的充种姿态。 展开更多
