Due to the digital transformation tendency among cultural institutions and the substantial influence of the social media platform,the demands of visual communication keep increasing for promoting traditional cultural ...Due to the digital transformation tendency among cultural institutions and the substantial influence of the social media platform,the demands of visual communication keep increasing for promoting traditional cultural artifacts online.As an effective medium,posters serve to attract public attention and facilitate broader engagement with cultural artifacts.However,existing poster generation methods mainly rely on fixed templates and manual design,which limits their scalability and adaptability to the diverse visual and semantic features of the artifacts.Therefore,we propose CAPGen,an automated aesthetic Cultural Artifacts Poster Generation framework built on a Multimodal Large Language Model(MLLM)with integrated iterative optimization.During our research,we collaborated with designers to define principles of graphic design for cultural artifact posters,to guide the MLLM in generating layout parameters.Later,we generated these parameters into posters.Finally,we refined the posters using an MLLM integrated with a multi-round iterative optimization mechanism.Qualitative results show that CAPGen consistently outperforms baseline methods in both visual quality and aesthetic performance.Furthermore,ablation studies indicate that the prompt,iterative optimization mechanism,and design principles significantly enhance the effectiveness of poster generation.展开更多

This article aims to show the role of making a prosthesis to restore function (chewing, swallowing, speech) and aesthetics following maxillary bone loss. Blepharoplasty is a frequently performed aesthetic surgery today aimed at enhancing eyelid appearance and correcting age-related changes.The traditional method of subtraction blepharoplasty,which involved removing fat...Blepharoplasty is a frequently performed aesthetic surgery today aimed at enhancing eyelid appearance and correcting age-related changes.The traditional method of subtraction blepharoplasty,which involved removing fat and excess skin,is now considered outdated.This letter explores Gorgy et al's commentary on Miotti et al's study,highlighting a shift in upper eyelid blepharoplasty towards a more conservative,volume-preserving approach.The study systematically reviewed 10 publications,including three retrospective studies,five comparative studies,and two clinical trials.It emphasizes the trend towards preserving the patient's natural anatomy and focusing on enhancement rather than alteration.However,the study's limitations,such as the lack of long-term comparative re-search,a relatively small sample size,and a single-center design,indicate that further research with extended follow-up is necessary to validate the safety and effectiveness of these techniques.The focus is increasingly on preserving and augmenting volume in upper blepharoplasty rather than removing tissue.展开更多
Higher education increasingly emphasizes the unique role of aesthetic education in cultivating virtue and morality.From the perspective of integrating aesthetic education with teaching,this study develops an analytica...Higher education increasingly emphasizes the unique role of aesthetic education in cultivating virtue and morality.From the perspective of integrating aesthetic education with teaching,this study develops an analytical framework to explore the theoretical foundations,practical pathways,and teaching mechanisms involved in interdisciplinary aesthetic education course construction at Sichuan University.Employing literature analysis and case studies,the paper systematically examines the theoretical basis of aesthetic education and its contemporary demands in higher education.Specifically,it focuses on Sichuan University’s initiatives in aesthetic education curriculum reform,covering practices such as curriculum design,faculty team development,resource coordination,and collaboration between internal and external institutions.Findings suggest that interdisciplinary aesthetic education courses enrich the content of aesthetic education in universities and enhance students’overall competence;however,these courses also face challenges like insufficient faculty and inadequate evaluation mechanisms during implementation.Consequently,this paper proposes strengthening top-level design,refining the curriculum system,enhancing faculty training,and improving evaluation mechanisms as recommendations for future improvement.This research aims to provide valuable references for aesthetic education reform in higher education in the new era,significantly contributing to interdisciplinary synergy and the comprehensive educational goal of integrating moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor education.展开更多

Cultural ecosystem services(CES),which encompass recreational and aesthetic values,contribute to human wellbeing and yet are often underrepresented in forest management planning due to challenges in quantifying these ...Cultural ecosystem services(CES),which encompass recreational and aesthetic values,contribute to human wellbeing and yet are often underrepresented in forest management planning due to challenges in quantifying these services.This study introduces the Recreational and Aesthetic Values of Forested Landscapes(RAFL)index,a novel framework combining six measurable recreational and aesthetic components:Stewardship,Naturalness,Complexity,Visual Scale,Historicity,and Ephemera.The RAFL index was integrated into a Linear Programming(LP)Resource Capability Model(RCM)to assess trade-offs between CES and other ecosystem services,including timber production,wildfire resistance,and biodiversity.The approach was applied in a case study in Northern Portugal,comparing two forest management scenarios:Business as Usual(BAU),dominated by eucalyptus plantations,and an Alternative Scenario(ALT),focused on the conversion to native species:cork oak,chestnut,and pedunculate oak.Results revealed that the ALT scenario consistently achieved higher RAFL values,reflecting its potential to enhance CES,while also supporting higher biodiversity and wildfire resilience compared to the BAU scenario.Results highlighted further that management may maintain steady timber production and wildfire regulatory services while addressing concerns with CES.This study provides a replicable methodology for quantifying CES and integrating them into forest management frameworks,offering actionable insights for decision-makers.The findings highlight the effectiveness of the approach in designing landscape mosaics that provide CES while addressing the need to supply provisioning and regulatory ecosystem services.展开更多

文摘Higher education increasingly emphasizes the unique role of aesthetic education in cultivating virtue and morality.From the perspective of integrating aesthetic education with teaching,this study develops an analytical framework to explore the theoretical foundations,practical pathways,and teaching mechanisms involved in interdisciplinary aesthetic education course construction at Sichuan University.Employing literature analysis and case studies,the paper systematically examines the theoretical basis of aesthetic education and its contemporary demands in higher education.Specifically,it focuses on Sichuan University’s initiatives in aesthetic education curriculum reform,covering practices such as curriculum design,faculty team development,resource coordination,and collaboration between internal and external institutions.Findings suggest that interdisciplinary aesthetic education courses enrich the content of aesthetic education in universities and enhance students’overall competence;however,these courses also face challenges like insufficient faculty and inadequate evaluation mechanisms during implementation.Consequently,this paper proposes strengthening top-level design,refining the curriculum system,enhancing faculty training,and improving evaluation mechanisms as recommendations for future improvement.This research aims to provide valuable references for aesthetic education reform in higher education in the new era,significantly contributing to interdisciplinary synergy and the comprehensive educational goal of integrating moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor education.

文摘As a unique symbol of regional culture,the arcade building carries rich historical memories and cultural connotations.In the process of urban renewal,how to reasonably renovate it so that it can meet modern living needs while preserving cultural continuity has become an important issue.Chan aesthetics,with its unique philosophical ideas and aesthetic concepts,offers new perspectives and approaches for the renovation of arcade buildings.This paper delves into the core principles of Chan aesthetics,combining the characteristics and current status of arcade buildings,to explore design strategies for the renovation of arcade buildings based on Chan aesthetics from dimensions such as spatial creation,material application,decorative design,and cultural inheritance.The aim is to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the sustainable development of arcade buildings.
文摘Under the perspective of translation aesthetics,the article studies three Chinese-to-English translations of Slow,Slow Tune as research objects,comparing and contrasting the differences between the different translations under the perspective of translation aesthetics.The study finds that:Kenneth Rexroth’s translation is poor in textual understanding,with a lot of errors,and is too shallow in emotional expression,remaining only on the surface of the text;Lin Yutang makes occasional mistakes in understanding individual words,and is able to explore the implicit feelings of the lyricist,and his translation focuses on textual and phonological beauty;Xu Yuanchong’s translation is not only capable of conveying the meaning of the original work,but also of conveying the lyricist’s feelings more vividly and focusing on the phonological beauty.Xu Yuanchong’s translation not only conveys the meaning of the original work,but also vividly conveys the emotion of the lyricist,and pays attention to the beauty of sound.
文摘Chinese incense culture represents a distillation of historical practices and artistic traditions surrounding the use of aromatic materials.As incense becomes increasingly integrated into contemporary households,its multifaceted significance warrants scholarly exploration.This paper traces the historical evolution of Chinese incense culture-from ancient rituals to its zenith in the Song Dynasty-and examines its modern-day relevance.We identify cultural preservation,health and wellness applications,socioeconomic impacts,and philosophical enrichment as key domains where incense culture exerts positive effects.Findings underscore its role in enhancing life aesthetics,promoting mental well-being,supporting rural economies,and bridging tradition with modernity.The study advocates for further interdisciplinary research to address challenges in heritage conservation and sustainable innovation.

文摘Cultural ecosystem services(CES),which encompass recreational and aesthetic values,contribute to human wellbeing and yet are often underrepresented in forest management planning due to challenges in quantifying these services.This study introduces the Recreational and Aesthetic Values of Forested Landscapes(RAFL)index,a novel framework combining six measurable recreational and aesthetic components:Stewardship,Naturalness,Complexity,Visual Scale,Historicity,and Ephemera.The RAFL index was integrated into a Linear Programming(LP)Resource Capability Model(RCM)to assess trade-offs between CES and other ecosystem services,including timber production,wildfire resistance,and biodiversity.The approach was applied in a case study in Northern Portugal,comparing two forest management scenarios:Business as Usual(BAU),dominated by eucalyptus plantations,and an Alternative Scenario(ALT),focused on the conversion to native species:cork oak,chestnut,and pedunculate oak.Results revealed that the ALT scenario consistently achieved higher RAFL values,reflecting its potential to enhance CES,while also supporting higher biodiversity and wildfire resilience compared to the BAU scenario.Results highlighted further that management may maintain steady timber production and wildfire regulatory services while addressing concerns with CES.This study provides a replicable methodology for quantifying CES and integrating them into forest management frameworks,offering actionable insights for decision-makers.The findings highlight the effectiveness of the approach in designing landscape mosaics that provide CES while addressing the need to supply provisioning and regulatory ecosystem services.
文摘This paper proposes a governance-oriented transformation of fashion design education in the agentic AI era,shifting pedagogy from skill transmission to intelligent orchestration.Using Weifang University of Science and Technology(WUST)as a case,it reconfgures the Four-in-One model(Course Competition Project Job)into an Agent-Aided Design(AAD)ecosystem supported by an agile curriculum governance mechanism and a dynamic curriculum knowledge graph.The framework integrates posthuman distributed creativity,Bourdieu’s feld theory(capital conversion),and an AI TPACK approach to faculty upskilling.A process-oriented quality assurance model(40/30/30)and a“trafc light”integrity protocol ensure accountability.Flagship projects—Qimin Yaoshu digital heritage restoration and wearable-tech pathways via Goertek—articulate a replicable“Weifang Model”toward a“wisdom aesthetic.”

文摘The Qin-Ba mountainous area represents a signifcant zone of multicultural convergence in China.Its traditional dwellings function not only as everyday living spaces but also as living cultural heritage embodying regional history and collective memory.Taking traditional residences in the Qin-Ba mountains as the research object,this study adopts design-oriented analytical approaches to examine their construction techniques and aesthetic culture.The analysis focuses on material selection,structural systems,and construction methods,while further exploring spatial organization,aesthetic concepts,and decorative craftsmanship.By revealing the technical logic and cultural meanings embedded in these vernacular dwellings,this study aims to provide academic reference for the preservation of traditional building techniques and the sustainable development of regional architectural culture.
