Modeling of a commercial pressure relief valve is done. The modeling centers on the main valve, because the dynamic performance is determined by the main valve. To validate such modeling, a frequency-experiment result of the pressure relief valve, whose bandwidth is about 3 Hz, is presented as comparison. The kinematic and dynamic characteristic of the robot will change with the variations of gravity in different working condition. Fully considering the change of kinematic and dynamic models caused by the change of gravity environment, a fuzzy adaptive robust control(FARC) strategy which is adaptive to these model variations is put forward for trajectory tracking control of space robot. In order to construct a completely integrated control design philosophy to reduce torque ripple and at the same time to enhance tracking performance, the properties of nonlinear uncertainties in the system dynamics are uncovered, and then incorporated into the design of the controller. The system uncertainties concerned with ripple dynamics and other external disturbances are composed of two categories. The first category of uncertainties with linear parameterization arising from the detention effect is dealt with by the wellknown adaptive control method. Firstly, a mathematical model of the pneumatic servo system was developed for the MIMO nonlinear model-based controller designed. The pneumatic muscles were controlled by three proportional position valves, and the air cylinder was controlled by a proportional pressure valve. As the forward kinematics of this structure had no analytical solution, the control strategy should be designed in joint space. A cross-coupling integral adaptive robust controller(CCIARC) which combined cross-coupling control strategy and traditional adaptive robust control(ARC) theory was developed by back-stepping method to accomplish trajectory tracking control of the parallel platform. The cross-coupling part of the controller stabilized the length error in joint space as well as the synchronization error, and the adaptive robust control part attenuated the adverse effects of modelling error and disturbance. The force character of the pneumatic muscles was difficult to model precisely, so the on-line recursive least square estimation(RLSE) method was employed to modify the model compensation. The projector mapping method was used to condition the RLSE algorithm to bound the parameters estimated. An integral feedback part was added to the traditional robust function to reduce the negative influence of the slow time-varying characteristic of pneumatic muscles and enhance the ability of trajectory tracking. The stability of the controller designed was proved through Laypunov's theory. Various contrast controllers were designed to testify the newly designed components of the CCIARC. Extensive experiments were conducted to illustrate the performance of the controller.展开更多

Due to model errors of the static forces and friction forces of pneumatic muscles, simplified average flow rate characteristics of valves, unknown disturbances of entire system, and unmeasured pressures, there exist rather severe parametric uncertainties, nonlinear uncertainties and dynamic uncertainties in modeling of the parallel manipulator. A nonlinear pressure observer is constructed to estimate unknown pressures on the basis of a single-input-single-output (SISO) decoupling model that is simplified from the actual multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) coupling model of the parallel manipulator. Then, an adaptive robust controller integrated with the pressure observer is developed to accomplish high precision posture trajectory tracking of the parallel manipulator. The experimental results indicate that the system with the proposed POARC not only achieves good control accuracy and smooth movement but also maintains robustness to disturbances.展开更多

Mismatched disturbance attenuation is ensured through a structured Hinfinity controller tuned by a non-smooth optimization algorithm. Embedded with the H-infinity controller, an adaptive control law is proposed in order to mitigate matched system uncertainty and actuator fault. Input saturation is also considered by the modified reference model. Numerical simulation of the novel ducted fan aircraft is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The simulation results reveal that the proposed adaptive controller achieves better transient response and more robust performance than classic Model Reference Adaptive Control(MRAC) method, even with serious actuator saturation.展开更多

In this paper, we show by means of experiments that robust adaptive methods can effectively face nonlinearities that are common to many automotive electromechanical devices. We consider here, as a representative case study, the control of a strongly nonlinear automotive actuator. The experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the method to cope with unmodeled nonlinear terms and unknown parameters. In addition, the engineering performance indexes computed on experimental data clearly show that the robust adaptive strategy provides better performance compared with those given by a classical model-based control solution with fixed gains.展开更多

文摘To improve the hit probability of tank at high speed,a prediction method of projectile-target intersection based on adaptive robust constraint-following control and interval uncertainty analysis is proposed. The method proposed provides a novel way to predict the impact point of projectile for moving tank.First, bidirectional stability constraints and stability constraint-following error are constructed using the Udwadia-Kalaba theory, and an adaptive robust constraint-following controller is designed considering uncertainties.Second, the exterior ballistic ordinary differential equation with uncertainties is integrated into the controller, and the pointing control of stability system is extended to the impact-point control of projectile.Third, based on the interval uncertainty analysis method combining Chebyshev polynomial expansion and affine arithmetic,a prediction method of projectile-target intersection is proposed. Finally, the co-simulation experiment is performed by establishing the multi-body system dynamic model of tank and mathematical model of control system. The results demonstrate that the prediction method of projectile-target intersection based on uncertainty analysis can effectively decrease the uncertainties of system, improve the prediction accuracy, and increase the hit probability. The adaptive robust constraint-following control can effectively restrain the uncertainties caused by road excitation and model error.

文摘A pneumatic parallel platform driven by an air cylinder and three circumambient pneumatic muscles was considered. Extensive experiments were conducted to illustrate the performance of the controller.

文摘In recent times, multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)are being widely utilized in several areas of applications such as agriculture, surveillance, disaster management, search and rescue operations.Degree of robustness of applied control schemes determines how accurate a swarm of UAVs accomplish group tasks.Formation and trajectory tracking controllers are required for the swarm of multiple UAVs.Factors like external environmental effects, parametric uncertainties and wind gusts make the controller design process as a challenging task. This article proposes fractional order formation and trajectory tacking controllers for multiple quad-rotors using Super Twisting Sliding Mode Control(STSMC)technique. To compensate the effects of the disturbances due to parametric uncertainties and wind gusts,Lyapunov function based adaptive controllers are formulated. Moreover,Lyapunov theorem is used to guarantee the stability of the proposed controllers.Three types of controllers, namely fixed gain STSMC and fractional order Adaptive Super Twisting Sliding Mode Control(ASTSMC)methods are tested for the swarm of UAVs by performing the numerical simulations in MATLAB/Simulink environment. From the presented results,it is verified that in presence of wind disturbances and parametric uncertainties, the proposed fractional order ASTSMC technique showed improved robustness as compared to the fixed gain STSMC and integer order ASTSMC.

文摘To enhance the fault transient performance of aerospace multiphase permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)system,an adaptive robust speed control is proposed regardless of the phase open-circuit(OC)and short-circuit(SC)fault in this paper, which can be applied for both the redundant motor system and fault tolerant motor system. For aerospace multiphase PMSM system, besides external load disturbance and system parameter perturbation, there inevitably exists the electromagnetic torque ripple in fault transient process, which can degrade the system performance and even cause the system instability. To cope with this issue, the electromagnet torque ripple of the multiphase PMSM system in fault transient process is first analyzed. Then,by considering the electromagnet torque fluctuation caused by fault transient as a system uncertainty,a novel adaptive robust speed control scheme is proposed, while the adaptive law is constructed to emulate the total system uncertainty bound, which include the load disturbance, the parameter variation, and the electromagnetic torque fluctuation due to fault transient. The resulting control can ensure the speed control performance even in fault transient process regardless of the uncertainty,in which no prior estimation of the uncertainty bound is required. In addition, the proposed adaptive robust speed control is demonstrated by a six-phase PMSM experimental platform. The novelty of this research is to explore a novel adaptive robust speed control to strengthen the fault tolerance performance of multiphase PMSM system even in fault transient process, which requires no prior estimation of the uncertainty bound.

文摘This paper presents a pressure observer based adaptive robust controller (POARC) for posture trajectory tracking of a parallel manipulator driven by three pneumatic muscles without pressure sensors. The experimental results indicate that the system with the proposed POARC not only achieves good control accuracy and smooth movement but also maintains robustness to disturbances.
文摘This paper is concerned with the robust adaptive fault-tolerant control of a tandem coaxial ducted fan aircraft under system uncertainty, mismatched disturbance, and actuator saturation. For the proposed aircraft, comprehensive controllability analysis is performed to evaluate the controllability of each state as well as the margin to reject mismatched disturbance without any knowledge of the controller. The simulation results reveal that the proposed adaptive controller achieves better transient response and more robust performance than classic Model Reference Adaptive Control(MRAC) method, even with serious actuator saturation.

文摘In this paper,a robust adaptive controller is designed for a guided spinning rocket, whose dynamics presents the characteristics of pitch-yaw cross coupling, fast time-varying aerodynamics parameters and wide flight envelop.First,a coupled nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom equation of motion for a guided spinning rocket is developed, and the lateral acceleration motion is modeled as a control plant with time-varying matched uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics. Then,a robust adaptive control method is proposed by combining Bregman divergence and variational method to achieve fast adaption and maintain bounded tracking. The stability of the resulting closed-loop system is proved, and the ultimate bound and convergence rate are also analyzed. Finally, numerical simulations are performed for a single operating point and the whole flight trajectory to show the robustness and adaptability of the proposed method with respect to timevarying uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics.

文摘The impact dynamics, impact effect, and post-impact unstable motion sup- pression of free-floating space manipulator capturing a satellite on orbit are analyzed. Firstly, the dynamics equation of free-floating space manipulator is derived using the sec- ond Lagrangian equation. Combining the momentum conservation principle, the impact dynamics and effect between the space manipulator end-effector and satellite of the cap- ture process are analyzed with the momentum impulse method. Focusing on the unstable motion of space manipulator due to the above impact effect, a robust adaptive compound control algorithm is designed to suppress the above unstable motion. There is no need to control the free-floating base position to save the jet fuel. Finally, the simulation is proposed to show the impact effect and verify the validity of the control algorithm.

文摘A moving target tracking control problem for marching tank based on adaptive robust feedback control scheme is addressed.A series of preparations is needed for tank gun before shooting a target, the purpose of this paper is to design a control system to fulfill two requirements in this process:the turretbarrel system of tank needs to be adjusted from off-target position to command position and point to the moving target stably when there are strong uncertainties(modeling error, uncertain disturbance with unknown boundaries and road excitation) in the system.Considering the characteristic of coupled interaction, the first thing we do in this paper is to build a coupled analysis model of turret-barrel system with uncertainty term in state-space form.Second,an adaptive robust feedback control scheme is proposed by adding adaptive law to overcome the uncertainty.Third,multi-body dynamics software is used to establish the mechanical mechanism of the tank, and DC-motor module is established in SIMULINK environment, thus the target information and tracking error of the control system is collected and transferred, the gear-ball screw is derived directly by the output torque of the DC-motor module. Finally, the control system and the 3D model are combined together by means of Recur Dyn/SIMULINK co-simulation,the turret-barrel system of tank can approximately track the moving target in a certain range. With the adaptive robust feedback control, the target action is completely followed when the target location is constantly changing.
文摘Model reference adaptive control is a viable control method to impose the demanded dynamics on plants whose parameters are affected by large uncertainty. In addition, the engineering performance indexes computed on experimental data clearly show that the robust adaptive strategy provides better performance compared with those given by a classical model-based control solution with fixed gains.
