Methods: A total of 66 patients with type D personality psoriasis admitted to the dermatology department of a top-three hospital in Jingzhou City from November 2022 to July 2023 were selected and divided into control group and test group with 33 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group received routine health education, and the experimental group received health education based on the HAPA theory. Chronic disease self-efficacy scale, hospital anxiety and depression scale and skin disease quality of life scale were used to evaluate the effect of intervention. Results: After 3 months of intervention, the scores of self-efficacy in experimental group were higher than those in control group (P P Conclusion: Health education based on the theory of HAPA can enhance the self-efficacy of patients with type D personality psoriasis, relieve negative emotions and improve their quality of life.展开更多

Digital innovation is challenging the traditional way of offering financial services to companies;the so-called Fintech phenomenon refers to startups that use the latest technologies to offer innovative financial serv...Digital innovation is challenging the traditional way of offering financial services to companies;the so-called Fintech phenomenon refers to startups that use the latest technologies to offer innovative financial services.Within the framework of the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)and the Theory of Reasoned Action(TRA),the primary purpose of this paper is to develop a causal-predictive analysis of the relationship between Subjective Norms,Attitudes,and Perceived Behavioral Control with the Intention to Use and Behavioral Use of the Fintech services by companies.Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling methodology was used with data collected from a survey of 300 companies.Our findings support the TRA and TPB models and confirm their robustness in predicting companies’intention and use of Fintech services.Financial technology innovators must understand the processes involved in users’adoption to design sound strategies that increase the viability of their services.Studying the antecedents of behavioral intention to adopt Fintech services can greatly help understand the pace of adoption,allowing these players to attract and retain customers better.This study contributes to the literature by formulating and validating TPB to predict Fintech adoption,and its findings provide useful information for banks and Fintech companies and lead to an improvement in organizational performance management in formulating marketing strategies.展开更多

Due to augmented mass media coverage of environmental problems, health concerns related to consumption of genetically modified food and/or chemical contaminants in food, and consumers＇ increasing interest in healthy nutrition and environmental protection, there is a growing interest for organic foods in all over the world. Growing interest for organic foods, and increasing production and demand in organic food market has made organic food consumption a significant topic of research. Although organic food market and demand for organic foods have also been growing in Turkey, literature regarding organic food consumption is not very extensive. Therefore, this study aims to understand the underlying motives for organic food consumption in Turkey, and to explore the factors affecting Turkish consumers＇ attitudes towards organic foods and the behavioral intention of Turkish consumers to purchase organic food by the help of the theory of reasoned action （TRA）. The results of 622 successful surveys used for this empirical research indicate that Turkish consumers＇ attitudes towards organic foods are determined by perception of organic foods, consumer values, and price perception, while their purchase intention is determined by health consciousness, perception of organic foods, consumer values, price perception, and environmental concerns.展开更多

We used TCA approaches, such as the validity claims that should characterize argumentative debate and the interactive processes with ‘lifeworld'components(culture, person and society), to create a theoretical relationship between Habermas' s theory and SP practices. We propose that the TCA aligns with the objectives of a dialogic communication about science with the non-specialist public and can contribute to perspectives that emphasize dialogue about science in society. Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action,this paper explores the influencing factors and countermeasures of teacher career development in private undergraduate institutions through questionnaire surveys.The study finds ...Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action,this paper explores the influencing factors and countermeasures of teacher career development in private undergraduate institutions through questionnaire surveys.The study finds that teachers generally experience heavy workloads and time pressures,but most believe that the academic atmosphere and research activities at the school have a positive impact on their career development.The evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels are considered fair and effective,but there is still room for improvement.Teachers hold a positive attitude towards career development opportunities and promotion channels,but they perceive limited development space and promotion opportunities.Teachers’personal comprehensive qualities and abilities,as well as the development opportunities and support provided by the school,are considered key factors for career development.Disciplinary professional background,academic accumulation,research capabilities,and teacher collaboration and exchange have significant impacts on career development.Based on the findings,the following strategies are proposed:1)optimizing the work environment and reducing work pressure;2)fostering a positive academic atmosphere;3)improving evaluation mechanisms and promotion channels;4)providing continuous professional training and development support;and 5)strengthening the construction of disciplinary professional background and research capabilities.展开更多

This study employs...Despite the expansion of Chinese education and the steady rise in the educational level of urban and rural residents since reform and opening up, the problem of educational inequality has persisted. This study employs CGSS2008 data to test the effects of household registration, family socio-economic status, years of parental education, and sibship size on educational opportunity at the three stages of junior middle school, senior middle school and higher education, as well as the changes in these effects over the period 1978-2008. The results show that there is no observable rural-urban disparity in opportunities for continuation to the junior middle school stage, but there is rising inequality in opporUmities for continuation to senior middle school and higher education; the influence of father＇s occupational status on children＇s educational opportunities remains largely the same, indicating that the stratification of educational attainment has not changed markedly since 1978： years of varental education play a marked and increasing role in children＇s educational attainment; and educational inequality due to sibship size also displays a rising tendency. To understand the structure and evolution of inequality in Chinese education since reform and opening up, it is necessary to study the micro-level mechanisms affecting residents＇ educational decision-making.展开更多
We focus on a small but growing segment of the U.S.population,those who identify as Chinese,Japanese and Korean(CJK),and compare CJK fertility to other race/ethnic groups in the United States.CJK women in the U.S.exhi...We focus on a small but growing segment of the U.S.population,those who identify as Chinese,Japanese and Korean(CJK),and compare CJK fertility to other race/ethnic groups in the United States.CJK women in the U.S.exhibit a distinct,pervasive,and persistent pattern of late and low fertility with nearly all births occurring within marriage;this pattern displays a strong parallel to their counterparts in their countries of origin.To accompany this description,we offer a perspective on fertility difference that has broad applicability and that does not consistently predict that differences will disappear/remain.This discussion unites the literature on assimilation,segmented assimilation and pluralistic outcomes and processes.We also discuss the possible implications of these findings for country level policies to increase fertility.Most generally,these discussions are a corrective to demographer’s penchant for predicting secular change and convergence.展开更多
