The optical microcavity effect of the homo-tandem solar cells is explored utilizing the transfer matrix method. Ultrathin silver can reduce the deadzone effect compared with graphene and PH1000, and leads to a factor of 1.07 enhancement for an electrical field in a metal microcavity. The enhancement is considered to be the fact that strong exciton-photon coupling occurs in the microcavity due to ultrathin Ag. On the basis of the optical enhancement effect, optical behaviors are manipulated by varying the microcavity length. It is confirmed that ultrathin silver can serve as an ideal interconnection layer as the active layer is ~ 150nm thick and the thickness ratio between front and rear active layers lies between 1:1 and 1:2. 展开更多

Microstructure and Hydrogen Absorption/Desorption Behavior of Mg23-xLaxNi10 Alloy

Induction melting was used as a routine method to synthesize Mg_(23)Ni_(10), Mg_(22)LaNi_(10) and Mg_(21)La_2Ni_(10) alloys, and followed by a detailed microstructural characterization which included X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS), high resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM) and hydrogen absorption/desorption measurements. XRD analysis results showed that Mg_2Ni and Mg phases were detected in the XRD pattern of the Mg_(23)Ni_(10) alloy, however, the La addition results in conversion from Mg to LaMg_3 and La_2Mg_(17) phases and appearance of crystal defects included dislocations, twin grain boundary and vacancy in the Mg_(22)LaNi_(10) and Mg_(21)La_2Ni_(10) alloy textures. The total maximum hydrogen absorption capacity was 4.45 wt% for the Mg_(23)Ni_(10) alloy, however, the Mg_(22)LaNi_(10) and Mg_(21)La_2Ni_(10) alloys with vacancy, dislocations and twin grain boundary, absorbed 3.66 wt% and 3.60 wt%, respectively, indicating that the La addition led to decreasing of the maximum hydrogen absorption capacity. Besides, hydrogen absorption/desorption of 90% of saturated state expended for about 456 and 990 s for pristine Mg_(23)Ni_(10) alloy, by contrast, the time decreased owing to improvement of hydrogen absorption and desorption kinetics in the alloy with La element, with which the uptake time for hydrogen content to 90% of saturated state was 150 and 78 s, and 90% hydrogen can be released in 930 and 804 s for Mg_(22)LaNi_(10) and Mg_(21)La_2Ni_(10) alloys in the experimental condition. 展开更多

In the situation when nonnegative solution (u, v) of the above problem blows up in finite time, it is showed that the blow-up is global and this differs from the local sources case. Moreover, for the special case r = s = 1, lim t→T*(T*-t)^p+1/pq-1u(x,t)=(p+1)^1/pq-1(q+1)^p/pq-1(pq-1)^-p+1/pq-1, lim t→T*(T*-t)^q+1/pq-1u(x,t)=(p+1)^1/pq-1(q+1)^p/pq-1(pq-1)^-p+1/pq-1 are obtained uniformly on compact subsets of/2, where T* is the blow-up time. 展开更多

Behaviors of harmonic signals in wavelength modulation spectroscopy (WMS) for gas detection with Lorentzian line under high absorption strength are investigated. Approximate analytic expressions of the second, fourth, and sixth harmonics on the strength ave presented in concise forms. Simulations show that the expressions ave in agreement with the Fourier expansion by numerical integration. It is expected theoretically and experimentally in a WMS system for methane detection that there ave not only a maximum, but also a null point in the harmonics versus strength relations, which should be of practical importance in methane sensing applications. 展开更多
